I think there is something to be said about absurdist horror being inherently comedic to some degree, but fuck if I know how to phrase it, so all I'll say is that it's deeply funny to me imagining Jon, Martin, Tim and Sasha just going about their day to day lives with the full knowledge that hundreds of worms, using an adult woman's body in the same way three children standing on each other's shoulders use a trenchcoat to look like an adult, want them dead. Like Sasha is just on her way to get a coffee in the morning knowing there's probably eighty maggots within arms reach that she can't see and are screaming for her blood.
