Thank you to the weird Youtubers who order vintage foods just to eat it. You have given me research to realistically describe how 10 year old sodas would taste if the apocalypse happened and no stores had been restocked due to literally nobody being around

#taks speaks #peachy sweet flavors with a distinct aluminum aftertaste #was literally something i typed out last night #apparently cans slowly disintegrate kinda like cheap thin plastic #so the drinks inside kinda taste metallic #and apparently glass bottles dont expire #so if that ever happened realistically glass bottled sodas would be perfectly preserved #the high sugar content actually acts as a preservative oddly enough #i wouldn't recommend anything fruit or milk based tho #just sodas and water #the entire scene was looting a gas station that had been left alone for twelve years in the middle of nowhere #one of them decided to pretend to be a wine taster with energy drinks bc one of them is an absolute caffeine fiend #just some things from the shit i've been writing #i mean you have to consider that one guy who lives off energy drinks in all this #its not like that dependency would go away #all the stuff was old coke or 7up not energy drinks #but I Think it would be about the same #tho i'd be curious how to OG coke would taste like back when they had literal coke in it #i've got a curiosity tbh #what was the og taste that got everybody hooked #tho it was likely the addictive addition of cocaine lmao
