Dan before the sun is even up, outside of Vlad's mansion sitting on his bike. "Vlad! Get your old ass out here!"

Vlad, after the 50th (yes he was keeping count) shout and dragging himself out of bed before his wall fets wailed down. "By the Ghostzone what do you want!?"

Dan, smug as fuck. "You are gonna help me ruin Easter!"

Vlad squints. "Easter was days ago, you absolute imbecile."

"Sssshuuut the fuck up." Dan tilts his sunglasses down his face. "We'll go around fucking up some heroes then, and you're gonna help me cause you don't have a choice."

Vlad deadpans, wondering what he could've done to have deserved this fate. He drags a hand down his faces and sighs. "Fine, let me get ready first."

A few hours later Plasmius comes out and Dan lets out a hiss.

"Oh what is it now?" Vlad groans and Dan gestures to all of him. "Change that dumb outfit," Dan pauses for a moment as Plasmius' face changed to one of offence. "And grab your bike while you're at it, and your biker gear because I know you still have both of them."

Plasmius wants to argue so, so, so badly. But he weighs the pros and cons of if he really wants to fight before the sun is up and pay for renovations to his mansion again, and sighed.

A while later

"Dude, you actually got the recluse to leave his haunt!" Johnny 13 exclaimed, staring at the ghost like he was some rare sight and causing Vlad to scowl. "Where's your girlfriend?"

Johnny shrugged. "She wasn't really in on the whole 'ruin Easter thing' so-" Dan held up a hand. "Change of plans, we're fucking with heroes now."

Johnny smirked. "Nice."

Even more while later

"FUCKING FIGHT ME BOYSCOUT!" Dan cackled as he nearly ran Superman over with his motorbike, which was covered in white flames. He took a swift turn in the air to continue chasing after Superman.

Off in the distance, on the ground were both Plasmius and Johnny 13. "Is this all that imbecile does?" Plasmius asked, less than impressed considering he was forced into this. Johnny shrugged. "Yea pretty much, you're a new face though so like, wanna cause some general havoc?"

"Do whatever you want," Plasmius sat on his own bike (having faced a fair amount of modifications) and waved him off. "I'm going to go rob a bank."

"Oh, count me in!"

Meanwhile, back in Amity Park

"Something is wrong." Danny mused, laying in bed. "I should totally figure out what, and I'm gonna do that..." He shifted around into a more comfortable position and closed his eyes. "....Later."

I’m a day late but HAPPY 55th ANNIVERSARY TO THE HAUNTED MANSION!! It’s crazy to think it’s been already 5 years since the 50th 😭😭. In any case, I figured now was a good time as any to show my love for the ride with a newly updated sona/OC. This is Mariana! (Definitely named after a certain song I love). She is a paranormal investigator who becomes a maid for the mansion in order to break a curse placed upon her when she desecrated some graves in the name of science. She has been an absolute joy to work on and reminds me of why I love the Haunted Mansion and the openness of the lore. It’s been very therapeutic to come back to an interest that I loved and was so formative to me as a kid and teenager. I hope to make more stuff with her soon! Also, look alive! There might be a proper tribute to the mansion coming later in the month! 👀👀👀

So I got this ask a while back but I was dissatisfied with any work I put into drawing the boys. Anywho here’s that info, anon!

Mikael Hatch: Third year transfer from pomefore and vice house-warden. Obvious inspiration from Constance Hatchaway and one of her grooms Michael from the 50th anniversary celebration. I still have trouble really nailing his outwardly warm facade. Not shown here, but included in the card I made earlier, he also wears the five pearl necklaces, but I am debating on a change to better suit his character and activities.

Claude Gracey: I based him off the scrapped raven ghost host concept, and a friend of mine suggested the name based on an imagineer who worked on the haunted mansion. To stick with the bird theme I gave him a falconer glove in the dorm uniform card design (still in work). I wanted him to slouch to look more like a peering raven.

Addison Leer: the hatbox ghost has a nickname listed as king leer, which is where the last name came from, but Addi sounds like Hattie and I thought it suits him. I also took some inspiration from the story of the girl with the green ribbon to nail in the headless aspect. He is the only one I have not made a card for yet. At first it was the design itself that stumped me, but then it became a matter of setting, activity, and perspective. I am working on him :(

Leonidas Graves: my favorite absolutely. Madame Leota Toombs as the basis, he has some funky hair and a crystal ball. My sibling actually is the reason I came up with the ghostly instruments skater chain I gave leonidas. I wanted him to be more of a rebellious figure, where Leota is a powerful woman who just happened to get her own curse turned on her, trapping her in the crystal ball, leonidas uses his crystal ball and a bag of marbles to see beyond.

And a happy 50th anniversary to the Knoebels Haunted Mansion, a classic dark ride which has undergone some updates since opening but still maintains many of its classic features. I do miss the oven room and twilight zone rooms though. I wasn't able to get any in ride photos since it was too dark and moving a bit too fast.

My phone lock screen and home screen are haunted mansion. So trust me when I say the new movie is not worth your time. Stick to Eddie Murphy and the Muppets

HAPPY 50th BIRTHDAY to the best dark ride on the planet - WALT DISNEY’S HAUNTED MANSION I’ve had so many great times on this ride across every Disney Park that houses it round the world. Fun Fact: in Anaheim a few years back I was the only rider towards the end of the night, I went around a few times, the last ride stopped in the cemetery and didn’t move for 20 mins. Nobody came to get me or tell me what was happening 🤪 I was stuck listening to the songs on a loop 10ft off the ground. Eventually it restarted, when I got to the exit, not one member of staff to be seen. 😂😂 that song is now burned in to my brain alongside small world. Since my first two Disney Dooney’s I have since purchased many more. To say that Dooney and Bourke is my favorite purse is an understatement. I have several wallets, a couple backpacks and multiple totes. I have even bought my daughter several satchels as well as wallets. I included my mother in my obsession and got her the Disney Dooney 50th Haunted Mansion tote as her first one. She kept telling me she was going to “borrow” mine since I have so many. So I have the second edition large shopper tote as my First then the Minnie and Mickey in ground of sleeping Beauty’s castle. Next I purchased the Minnie and Mickey in front of Cinderella’s castle. I am not even sure I can list all of them because there are many of them.

A few I can recall off the top of my head are the haunted mansion 50th as well as the light purple wall paper 1st edition totes. The jerrod Maruyama backpack x2 and the tote. Minnie and Mickey valentines 2022 tote and wallet. Lady and the tramp 1st print tote. Moana tote first print. Satchel second print. Cinderella tote. Little Mermaid 2nd print plus wallet. Dvc print with pink interior from 2019 tote and wallet. Dogs sketch wallet. Aladdin 30th tote. Steam boat willie backpack and tote. Brown leather sketch small crossbody. Disney cats sketch tote. Disney Dogs sketch wallet. Disney sidekicks tote and magic band Disney sketch small zipper wallet and makeup bag. If I missed any I will update.

The ones that I wanted and missed are theLady and the Tramp second edition tote. The Jimmy Chou tote. Ariel, Belle, Mulan and the pale green orange Bird tote. I have purchased others for my daughter and my mother but I do not count those as mine.
