How would the crüe react to Mick randomly falling asleep/ falling asleep on them. OR 70's Mick randomly falling asleep (or passing out bc that's seems fit, that fucker was NOT eating enough) in front of Whitehorse?

ABHHHHHHHHAHAHAHHHAHHAH ok im so criminally sane and perfectly normal about this ask (im not im not im not) im going both of these and im going to be very normal and cool and sane about it.

the headcanon girl presents: mick being a sleepy man…because carrying an entire band on your back is hard work!

also…well add a trigger warning for bad eating habits just in case that’s not someone’s cup of tea…you might wanna skip this one (it’s not that bad but just in case!)

- ok, now something like this would have to occur when mick is like dead tired. he’s usually not like this, like if he’s tired he just goes to sleep in his room or whatever. but in this case…he can’t really do that. maybe they’re in the middle of recording an album and micks bordering on like four hours of sleep…so he’s just dead tired! he’s constantly blinking, fidgeting to stay awake. this is when a member of the band sits down next to him and starts talking.

- mick does everything to pay attention to said member, really focusing on what he’s saying…but suddenly the words start to become white noise to him. he’s constantly fighting to keep his head up and his eyes open but pretty soon he’s just completely gone. before he can even think, he’s totally asleep.

- it all really depends on who’s sitting beside him when he accidentally just slumps onto them, in a deep slumber. tommy would be surprised…he wasn’t aware mick was that tired, he wonders what’s up. did the older man pull an all nighter or something? and also he can’t really believe he fell asleep on him. like…awww he felt comfortable enough to just let his head fall onto tommys shoulder ain’t that cute!

- then, tommy would look around and hope no one notices the guitarist was literally passed out on his shoulder. i can see him not moving an inch. he’s not sure if he should wake mick up, because if he was willing to just fall asleep on him, he must be dead tired! he’d let him sleep until he woke up (obviously embarrassed that he practically used tommy as a pillow), and then he’d make sure he was rested enough to go in and do his tracks.

- nikki, on the other hand would freeze. he’s not entirely sure what he should do about the guitarist just falling asleep on him. he almost wants to push him off, cause he knows mick would have done that to him but…he looks so peaceful, and that’s probably the only time he’s ever looked that relaxed so…he (gently) wakes him up and tells him to go sleep on the spare couch in the studio. mick can only grumble about not being tired and slowly slinks off to go sit somewhere else. does nikki feel bad for being so dramatic about it? a bit…like, he could have just let him rest on him a bit but nooooo nikki just has to ruin the vibes and wake the poor man up. he’ll vaguely feel bad about it for the rest of the day until they all part ways. then, he’ll just hope the older man actually goes to sleep that night so he can stop feeling bad about it.

- vince would laugh quietly to himself about it. still, he’ll feel bad enough for the older man that he’d just pick him up and carry him to the spare couch and gently lay him on top of it. maybe he’d go as far as to run around and find a jacket to toss on top of him. then he’d go in and do his vocals. he’d pretend he just needed a way to get the old man off him so he could get to work, but he’d try to find out if mick got a good rest the next day. then they’d both promise each other to never talk both it ever again…

- i also like the idea of them all being in close proximity (maybe on a bus or plane) and like…micks tried to distance himself a bit, because he’s already pretty tired and all he wants to do is take a little nap.

- in comes one of the boys, ready to annoy him simply because they all love how annoyed he gets about it!

- mick is so tired he can’t even react. he just sort of blankly stares at them, tired eyes slowly blinking. whoever’s annoying him this time doesn’t even notice it. they’re too busy talking his ear off they don’t notice he’s slowly falling asleep until they feel something hit their shoulder. thinking micks finally retaliating, they look back just to see his head leaning on their shoulder.

- depending on who it is, they either stay in their seat, letting mick sleep on them and ending up falling asleep with him as well…OR they get bored and restless and gently try to disengage themselves from the old man.

Now…the Whitehorse headcanon

- we all know how broke the band was back in the day. they all lived together and probably ate nothing but ramen. mick specifically was incredibly broke (fun fact: he and his girlfriend at the time even lived in a van at one point…it wasn’t pretty, that’s for sure)

- unfortunately for mick, sometimes he just doesn’t get to eat. either there’s nothing around, or he’s just too broke to buy food…whatever it is, he just has to deal with it. at first, it was just a once in a while situation (maybe he’s just hard pressed for cash one week and then the next he has enough to buy some groceries), but as the band continues to play gigs and eventually has to live together, he simply can’t afford to eat much.

- the more that goes on, the more it starts to get to him. he finds he’s just so tired, sometimes he falls asleep in random places because of it. (If you thought him sleeping in his little makeshift amp bedroom was crazy, imagine finding him sleeping on the bathroom floor because he was too tired to walk back to the living room!) ofc the band is concerned, but they themselves are also living through the very same situation (sorta kinda). the most they can do is share their food with him occasionally (even that is hard at times seeing as though everyone eats very little at a time).

- it’s only when they’re all together in the living room, just talking and all that when mick quite literally just crumples to the ground. everyones immediately going over to help him. they pick him up and one of the members lets him sleep in their bedroom (maybe Jack).

- i feel like Whitehorse as a whole would be almost shell shocked about the whole thing. they all know about micks other ailments, and they’ve seen how he’s pushed through them. sure, he’s a skinny little kid, but he’s strong. that’s what they all think. this is the moment that humanizes him in a way. like they finally realize “oh…this kid is breakable and we probably should have helped him a bit sooner!”

- when he wakes up, everyone’s crowding around him. someone is thrusting a spoonful of soup into his mouth, someone else has their hand on his forehead trying to see if he’s coming down with something and the others are just staring at him like they’ve seen a ghost. after that little scare, jack would start sharing some of his food (or money) with him, just cause no one wants to see him suffer anymore. they’d all probably kick themselves for not doing it sooner!

And there we have it! oh how i love writing things like this! especially the whitehorse headcanon UGHH!! cause like…it’s so true that mans was not eating properly!! i wouldn’t be surprised if things like this happened tbh…also whitehorse was literally in the trenches lmaooo. anyways, I also just like the idea of mick accidentally just sleeping in front of the crue and being in that sort of vulnerable position and like…the rest of the band doesn’t do anything malicious (for once). maybe…(hopefully) this keeps happening and mick slowly starts to feels comfortable falling asleep in front of them because he realizes they won’t do anything to him!! ANYWAYS,,, I hope you enjoy these as always, cause i do enjoy writing these tbh!!
