#the good ol' “is it a prothean wide thing or simply Javik's thinly veiled fetish?” paradox when it comes to using his dialogue as reference

you know what I'm very curious about? How Mass Effect species view each other.

Like from our perspective—the humans—certian races look absolutely adorable, salarians and elcor for example. While turians are more cool looking, almost intimidating up close. And depending on who you are, the hanar are either the most cute pink things or the fish smell and slippery moist skin makes you uneasy.

But what about the other species? Who would appear cute in the eyes of the salarians? What about the volus? Who would the angaran want to turn into a marketable plushie the most?

Take the batarians, for example, to humana they look terrifying with their sharp teeth and large wide eyes, stuff out of nightmares. But to a turian? who already have sharp teeth? They might look adorable, even a little endearing.

Do elcor find humans cute just like how elephants on our planet tend to do? Do quarians get cuteness aggression (if they can even get that) near the volus because they look like mini versions of them?

I went with adorableness rather than attractiveness because otherwise the asari would win by a far margin. Although, based on Javik's comment about remembering how beautiful the quarians were in his cycle, protheans might be the only ones immune to the asari charms. Preferring quarians over them.

Or it could just be Javik.
