The Men in Black franchise has it's issues, but it is one I still enjoy (mostly 1 & 3 with a soft spot for International because of Chris and Tessa). I figure since I have an alien OC I may as well do this at least once. If this was an AU for these guys the alien (Vivienne) would probably have an image inducer type of thing to look human when they're in public. Also Matteo would have to loose his piercings/tattoos. Could be fun though.

Ok so I’m reading a fic that I might actually not like so I won’t be sharing the name of it unless I get to the end and decide I actually liked it lol. I’m basically 50% of the way through and it is getting better so I want to give it more time. I WILL be finishing it lol, it’s not *bad*, it seems worth finishing, especially the further into it I get, but dang, it did not start off strong. Hermione is weak willed and kind of… flaccid? Draco is really mean and guarded (and not really in that weird, cool, toxic kind of way?). Harry is… just kind of lame. Ginny is over bearing. Honestly, Ron is probably the most well written character lol! Well, Ron and Narcissa. The good news is, as the story (which in and of itself is actually pretty entertaining) progresses, I am seeing some character development that I like a lot. Even if this doesn’t end up to be my fave fic, I am excited to finish it and maybe even read the others in this series.

Look I'm just I'm just saying If they're gonna have AN ENTIRE WHOLE MAIN STORYLINE QUEST about those two having A Connection and looking at each other yearningly and being all like... fucking. the homoerotic tension in that one quest was THROUGH THE ROOF. "There's always a choice. A choice to be good." Like fuck. God damn it. Hello!!! And then for the entire remainder of the game Del references Luke's words and goes back to that one random meeting they had when they saved each others lives I mean???? Aarrrghhh!!! What the hell! Excuse me but Del was so fucking smitten. He could not stop thinking about it, he uprooted his entire life because of what Luke said to him and what? I'm just supposed to act like that's nothing??? It's insane they didn't address it at all like that mission was so fucking gay

1. Splitting the Atom by Massive Attack // They won't tell you this band has written songs other than the House MD theme song. and this one goes HARD. The album Heligoland was introduced to me by charlisaac through famous finveith playlist and it's perhaps my most frequently listened album in the past few days. I like this song in particular. For when you're feeling like the white Oppenheimer.

2. Answering the Phone by The Mountain Goats // This is one of my favorite TMG deep cuts, a bonus song from All Hail West Texas. In love with the line "I think something's wrong with me / I think something's glued down wrong maybe permanently". One of the only TMG songs on my playlist for my current fucked up D&D guy. Something IS wrong with him.

3. Northwest Passage by Unleash the Archers // my friend Kit (forgor their tumblr) made a sea shanties playlist and this song made me so Freaking emotional about life changing television show the Terror and the autocannibalistic nature of capitalism and imperialism. but also made it onto my running playlist so it's doing double duty.

4. Kill Yourself (Part III) by $uicideboy$ // Another song for the aforementioned Guy. I really am partial to songs abt ppl who are miserable and pathetic, and not just bc I needed to find some songs for this Guy's playlist.

5. Spiritual Architecture by Ashbringer // Emotionally haunting instrumental tunes to write scientific papers about the cellular biology of Plasmodium falciparum to and a cornerstone of @aeternitimperi's playlist for HIS little D&D guy who is friends (?) with My guy and they are collectively working through some trauma. And constructing more trauma but that's just how it is in this bitch of a Realm. And It wouldn't be fair for me to leave a song from that playlist off on account of it has kept me from going full joker in recent weeks.
