because like!!! the scene of her getting hiyori to eat pocky with her is a silly scene with a lot of poly implications and it's funny that satoe literally showed hiyori pictures of her future boyfriends and hiyori didn't recognize the two at all despite eating SO MANY of the boxes. but also

it's a sweet and touching scene because hiyori is afraid to go to high school in a new city and considers giving up on track and field to try and stay where she is but satoe refuses to let that happen!!! she encourages hiyori to go for it because she KNOWS hiyori wouldn't be happy giving up a dream so precious to her and gives hiyori a push forward! she's literally the reason why the plot could happen, but she's been forgotten and overlooked and i want justice!!! i want her back!!! i want her to find out that her best friend has somehow managed to start dating her idols despite not recognizing them at all!!!!

Charade Maniacs -- opinionated piece

Just gonna leave my thought's here. Be warned this is an OPINIONATED piece. No means a *review* of any sorts but this was how I felt about Charade Maniacs. THERE ARE SPOILERS IN THIS SO PLEASE DON'T CONTINUE TO READ PAST THE LINE!

So, after a very trialing journey, Charade Maniacs has been cleared. Defeated like the annoying final boss that drags on just a little too long.

Based on that, you might think I hate the game. Honestly? Yes and no. I think the game's biggest flaw is it wants to accomplish so much but accomplishes so little due to the fact the writing is pretty much atrocious.

Beware of spoilers below.

This otome... should've just not been an otome. I like "among us" plots, but this is probably the most poorly executed one I've ever read (otome or not). I just think there are better ones available as the routes themselves are rather short and you (Hiyori) are practically in love with them before you even blink. Also the LIs almost all fall flat. Minus a few of my personal faves: Ebana, Futami, and Iochi. These three stand out as the most intriguing cast members, Ebana especially once you let the story cook for once. Ebana being my #1 as his route felt like it offered the most payoff and balance. Hiyori's a bit insensitive and makes a very SUS comment about his trauma so I got a bit a beef with her. Futami is also a very interesting cast member as you come to learn he's not quite sane haha. But it made it interesting, plus he's one of the few to not be so weirdly quick to fall in love with Hiyori. Their relationship seems to rely on trust and working with one another which is a lot more believable than a majority of the cast.

Iochi, minus the questionable FBI flirting and suggestive comments with a minor, their route was pretty fun. Heart racing moments, but I found it quite predictable.

As for everyone else? Boring, forgettable, or just whatever.

Honorable trash mentions because I'm still mad!

Chigasaki, my first introduction to the game. I was EXCITED. Just to experience one of the WORST otome routes I've ever played. I've never felt so insulted by the blatant piss poor writing. Chigasaki goes from super sweet and feeling safe around him in the entire common route to colder than the ice in the Antarctic. No seriously, he even gave Hiyori some attitude. And omg don't get me started on the Arcadian father subplot that they just brought up then dropped in the next scene. Absolutely shocked that was given a green light to keep in the game. Wow. Gyobu. Just delete him. I'm ok with flirts (I love flirts actually), sexual comments, anything considered trashy in otome games. It's fiction. But I enter this weird area when it involves the MC being a MINOR. The difference between Iochi's and Gyobu's comments: multiple things really but Iochi isn't doing it EVERY FUCKING SCENE. Scene changes? Gyobu has to make some comment about Hiyori should kiss him, hold his hand, and the sexual harassment he would do to her. Dazai even remarked that he was a sexual harasser. It wasn't funny, it was cringe. And annoying. If he did this once or twice every few scenes, I'd probably not rank him as the WORST LOVE INTEREST ever to exist, but like... he doesn't even change once they confess their absolutely unbelievable feelings. He just stays true to being a sex offender! I'm sorry to be so heated over this but like wow.

Now what did I think about the Other World Stream and Producer, Sponsor and Fanatic and.. everything else? Honestly. Confusing. I think everything ended up blending together to the point I was getting confused of who we were actually going after. Sometimes the Director was nice in the routes or he'd just be unfair (which I expected him to always be unfair) and other times he just was like "yeah u win! lol u can go home with ur boyfriend and they can stay" or they'd change it and be like "oh 9 of u can go but 1 has to stay" which honestly drove me a litttttle crazy.

I only played 2 routes before I took a break for Virche Evermore's release as that was a priority for me to play so it's not like I really forgot bits and pieces.

Then this past month of December I pretty much binged the game so you would think a lot of things would make sense, right? Wrong. It doesn't. It feels like the game wanted each route to be some different among us game. It drove me bonkers bro. So like are you telling me, there are different sponsors??? Why? My head legit hurts even trying to make sense of what I just went through as I write this hodgepodge mess of a piece. I literally just want to make sense of it all. The only positive(s?) I can really say is: This game is only worth really playing for Ebana's route. He truly had a wonderful story and as someone who has experienced some trauma and unwanted touching, I really felt for Ebana and appreciated his story being told (minus Hiyori's awful thought comment wishing she was the pedophile who kissed and traumatized Ebana. absolutely WEIRD of the writers to even put that in, but OK I GUESS!)

I really wanted to like this game. I kept going and pushing because I wanted to find something special about this game. I love Period Cube a big amount but even I will tell you the game is bad, but I liked it because it had charm and still brought something different to the table. In my opinion, this game does none of that, sadly. Especially since Otomate already has an "among us" otome (Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly) and mystery titles that are just... better. But luckily I did find one gem: Ebana. Which is why: This is NOT my worst otome game but, it is in fact, my 2nd worst otome game I've ever played. (#1 worst otome is Cafe Enchante if you're curious lol)

Rating: 4/10, only recommend if on a big sale. Take breaks in between routes, maybe even write down some of the plot points and who ends up proving to be SUS AF. That opener is a BANGER tho!! P.S. Futami's route is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. In fact, it's fine. The two routes I've listed as honorable trash are in fact way worse and more frustrating. Futami's was at least enjoyable, not creepy on a minor MC, and at times he was the most romantic of the bunch. The ring scene is one of the most heartracing scenes and felt very meaningful. I just think the hate is a little mind blowing. Sorry I'm on the Futami Protection squad! P.P.S RIP PALT WAS NEVER WISHED TO BE REVIVED! WE FORGOT THE AA BATTERIES MOM TURN AROUND!!! lol P.P.P.S the "Truth" ending is absolute ass and way too damn long. It's just 2-3 hours of a plot dump that still leaves you feeling "wtf". Abysmal.

I regret this already, this is gonna be hard. Choices aaa-

#5 - C.C. (Code Geass) She’s one of the “deeper” choices on this list. The whole immortality thing and the way she interacts with others is fascinating. Especially that while she does want to die, she refuses to give it to Lelouch, which just stuck with me. I’m sure I forget a lot of the depth she has though sduihdsa.

#4 - Yato (Noragami) As annoying as he can be, he’s a dork. A dork that cares and that absolutely loses his shit when it’s about Hiyori. That scene where he walks away from the hospital room, expression absolutely feral, has ingrained itself into my mind. It’s the inverted “cold but soft for love interest” sauhsj.

#3 - Amalia (Wakfu) The funny thing is that I disliked her throughout most of the first two seasons, which I GUESS makes her a weird pick. I’m not sure if you could say there was a development, since she changes pretty suddenly, but it makes me appreciate her more alltogether. And that says a lot because her rival in “fave female” is literally an archer and we all know I’m weak for those (Eva was my fave for s1+s2 though haha)

#2 - Emma (Promised Neverland) --- the recency bias choice (“recent” as in it’s been a year and I haven’t thought about anything else) I guess if we go by depth Norman or Ray would be the better choice as of now, but I can’t choose one over the other (and I don’t wanna fill 3/5 slots with TPN iudksha) so I’M GONNA TAKE EMMA. She’s fun to draw, she’s the reason I started the show, and even if she might not be super revolutionary, she feels like a refreshing main lead to me and she’s fun to draw. Baby.

#1 - Tigress (Kung Fu Panda) --- the childhood crush, I guess. Badass female, basically, I thought she was just really cool, though I THINK my true obsession over her only started after the second movie and her softness haha (here we have the proper “cold but soft for some” haha). The whole backstory thing with hitting trees gets more angsty the more you think of it and her softening up and all that is just HAHHH I LOVE HER.

I guess my love mostly gets attributed to a lot of people and not extremely for anyone iufdhdj. Most of these are nostalgia picks I guess!

Aside from Norman, Ray and Eva (Wakfu), shout-out to Fakir (Princess Tutu), Cassandra (Tangled Series), Tiana (Princess and the frog), Lapis (Steven Universe) and Todoroki (BNHA).

My Top Romance Anime

I made a new set of list of my fave romance anime series since I guess i deleted my post accidentally w/c i always update ( i dont wanna talk about it i'm still in shock lol) so here it is i made it as simple as possible, no long description. Just my collection of anime that caught my heart while watching it. 

1. InuYasha

InuYasha follows Kagome Higurashi, a fifteen-year-old girl whose normal life ends when a demon drags her into a cursed well on the grounds of her family's Shinto shrine. Instead of hitting the bottom of the well, Kagome ends up 500 years in the past during Japan's violent Sengoku period with the demon's true target, a wish-granting jewel called the Shikon Jewel, reborn inside of her.

Inuyasha has always been my fave since childhood. I love the love and hate relationship they have. Inuyasha being stubborn but ever since he met Kagome he learned a lot of being a good person. I just hate their love triangle with kikyo nevertheless I love how it ends. It's really worth it after so many years of watching and waiting for it.

2. Kamisama Kiss

 Nanami immerses herself in her divine duties. But if she must keep things running smoothly, she will need the help of a certain hot-headed fox. In her fumbling attempt to seek out Tomoe, she lands in trouble and ends up sealing a contract with him. 

I’ve never been so satisfied in my life until after watching all the episodes of this anime, the twist is amazing . It ends well. My heart was happy.

3. Wolf Girl and Black Prince

 Erika Shinohara has taken to lying about her romantic exploits to earn the respect of her new friends. So when they ask for a picture of her "boyfriend," she hastily snaps a photo of a handsome stranger, whom her friends recognize as the popular and kind-hearted Kyouya Sata.

This is the first time i tried to watch anime series continously, i mean i never wanted to stand up while watching it haha it was good . I love how Kyouya manage to be so mean while everybody thinks he's a perfect prince, but i fell in love with this couple, theyre so perfect. 

4. Noragami

Just as things seem to be looking grim for the god, his fortune changes when a middle school girl, Hiyori Iki, supposedly saves Yato from a car accident, taking the hit for him. Remarkably, she survives, but the event has caused her soul to become loose and hence able to leave her body. Hiyori demands that Yato return her to normal, but upon learning that he needs a new partner to do so, reluctantly agrees to help him find one.

aahh yatori makes my heart crave for more haha i mean dont expect a lot of romance on this, it highlights friendship . Yato being so childish and Hiyori is such a good girl, i cry whenever she loses her memory. The story is fun and I hope for the next season they will give exposure for my fave couple.

5. Inu X Boku SS

But Ririchiyo's troubles have only just begun. As a requirement of staying in her new home, she must be accompanied by a Secret Service agent. Ririchiyo's new partner, Soushi Miketsukami, is handsome, quiet... but ridiculously clingy and creepily submissive.

I love the twist, i dont mind watching this all over again. Their personalities is quite interesting, the story is cute with mix of mystery.

6. My little Monster

Shizuku Mizutani is apathetic towards her classmates, only caring about her grades. However, her cold view of life begins to change when she meets Haru Yoshida, a violent troublemaker who stopped attending class after getting into a fight early in the school year. He is not much different from her, though—he too understands little about human nature and does not have any friends.

oposite attracts haha Haru is so adorable. And their relationship is quite bumpy and unsure. But i think their feelings for each other are genuine.

7. Hatsukoi Monster

After meeting her rescuer yet again and discovering that his name is Kanade Takahashi, she confesses her love to him. Kanade says he would like for them to be a couple, but that Kaho may not want to date him after she finds out his secret. To her shock, Kaho discovers the startling truth: Kanade is a fifth grader!

 Hatsukoi Monster follows Kaho's first steps into love with Kanade, her immature, yet kind, fifth grade boyfriend.

Age doesn't really matter lol. Its kinda weird as it may seems but who cares as long as you love each other then jump and take a risk. You can wait for the right time anyway haha. This anime is funny and i love how their friendship show. Accepting the situation and learn how to deal with differences is the lesson.

8. Guomin Laogong Dai Huijia

Lu Jin Nian and Qiao An Hao were not married by choice. On the first day of their wedding night, Qiao An Hao made three rules regarding their marriage. One, you are not allowed to touch me. Two, you are not allowed to announce publicly that I'm your wife. Three, you are not allowed to say that we are living together.

I've watch only the first two seasons. and i loved it. Its like a prequel to the story but i dont know why im satisfied with it haha, the truth is i dont have the strength to watch the season 3 and i dont even wanna know how it ends. haha while watching i was desperate and frustrated them to be together, i want a happy ending. But all I can see was barriers and situation wont let them be happy together. I hope they will make a movie based on this. All i know is it was too depressing but definitely has a good story line.

9. Red Data Girl

Izumiko begins by cutting her bangs, which shocks both her classmates and protectors. And that's only the start! Her guardian, Yukimasa Sagara, forces his son, Miyuki, to come to the mountain shrine and become Izumiko's lifelong servant and protector. Too bad Izumiko and Miyuki cannot stand each other. They have known each other since they were children, and Miyuki bullied her terribly.  Will Izumiko and Miyuki work past their differences? Is she actually a literal goddess? This anime left me hanging and didn’t give me the ending i crave for, i hope they gonna make a next season. but i enjoyed it so much, i love the main characters and the vibe it gives me. It's a serious mystery and a little bit of romance but not much. anyway i love this, never regret watching it.

10.  Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka?

Willem takes refuge on the floating islands in the sky, living in fear of the Beasts below. One day, he is tasked with being a weapon storehouse caretaker. Thinking nothing of it, Willem accepts, but he soon realizes that these weapons are actually a group of young Leprechauns. Though they bear every resemblance to humans, they have no regard for their own lives, identifying themselves as mere weapons of war. Among them is Chtholly Nota Seniorious, who is more than willing to sacrifice herself if it means defeating the Beasts and ensuring peace. 

Not every story has good ending but im glad i watched this. The couple reminds me of kaname and sagara of full metal panic but in different way. Their personalities are so perfect for each other. I wasnt really into anime girls with different hair colors but Ctholly change my point of view, she's exactly one of my fave girls now, her being childish, jealous and innocent around Willem caught me. Funny moments will be present too and their feelings for each other blooms slowly every episodes that you just wanna watch more. I wish the last episode ended the way I wanted, anyway, I still dont get why Willem is involved into two different girls in the past, i guess it wasnt explained that much, i just hate the flashback how he remember the girl while he's with Ctholly,. Well all in all, i enjoy much I just hope they add new season, but i dont know how it will start haha. Im just happy to meet and add this perfect couple in my list.

 So that’s it, i’m still in search of finding good anime romance. I hope i wont let my foolish hand delete this post again lol. Im definitely gonna edit this and add more . Hope you enjoy reading. :)
