monster stuff

so this is in no way cod-related but is personal and dear to me but i like adding lore to already existing monsters like vampires i like to think there are different types of vampires and vampire culture and I have an entire Google doc on it currently and i keep adding to it cause i love it.... cause i just like the idea of vampires looking, sounding and acting different like western vampires being more used to the sun then northern vampires, or the idea that because of evolution and the fact vampires are very similar to bats some even looking closely, which is why my vampires are allergic to the sun and garlic (kinda) cause in my headcanons vampires over time became closer and closer with bats and because of environment there are some that are more omnivorous than others, like blood is still a common thing on there diet but its more kinda just like a common food that's known in there culture and becoming omnivorous was also a technique used for protection and like the sunlight rule is more like how likely you are to have sunburn or how likely you are to be bothered by it its not instant and painful death and garlic has become more of an intolerance over time rather than an actual life threatening allergy, i also just love the idea of vampire culture in general like this idea of vampire culture is all univeralys different but the simialir at the same time like regionally and nationally vampires may have different customs but they all share similar qualities...

i have no idea why but i feel it in my bones and maybe im slightly projecting but i fee like ghost joints pop really easily and often, and often very loudly like he'll just be sitting some where and he gets up and you just hear a very distant popping and cracking and everyone always like wtf?, its the one way other than floorboards creaking that the team knows, ghost is around cause of how quiet he is it take the popping of a, knee or something, and on the topic of that

You know this mans joints probably ache especially in winter, and everyone knows cause they see when he gets cold that things like writing, twisting things/opening thing, and things hitting his hand like a ball become alot harder and more painful in his hands and in his legs he has some days where its better to just stay in a chair than walk.

So i have like a very clear interpretation of what i think ghost listens to but I just like the idea of him secretly listening to lemon demon and no one except maybe price so i just imagine the gang are on like a trip out and lets just say rudy was driving and finally decided to give ghost the aux and ghost gets a shit eating grin on his face and its just like :

So here recently ive been reading this one fic i really like and it has alot of ghost/könig in it (its soap/ghost/könig but currently soap is injured and in the hospital) and while i will always be a soap/ghost enjoyer and they will always be very dear to me i will admit i have been getting little headcanons for ghost and könig one of them being after könig figured out how easy it was to pick ghost up and also figured out that even though ghost will never admit it he does like the size difference, how könig can just pick him up with out a struggle, and hold him like he's something to be gentle with, könig just occasionally picks ghost up randomly in a bridal carry and just carries him off to where ever usally to nap cause they both have insomnia and can't sleep so they sometimes sleep during the day

I randomly thought about price having a group chat with all the guys in it (gaz, soap, Alejandro, rudy, ghost and alex) and its just named "the kids" and i was hust thinking about little hc's along with hc's i already had for the characters about what they post and stuff liks that

Alejandro: regularly sends pics of himself wether it be just random stuff or after a workout,

He very active in the gc talks to everyone and likes watching gaz and soap argue, he'll ask rudy how he's doing, sometimes ask people if they wanna do things but price is usally the person who sets up trips and times to hangout

Rudy: randomly post food he made or engages with alex, gaz and soap's chaos, sometimes post pics of outfits he put together

Soap: post random memes he found, argues or starts chaos with gaz to which price usally stops it before they set a shed on fire "accidentally" or start beating each other up irl, trues to talk to ghost but never gets a response, likes to bully ale and rudy for being cheesy and in love, gaz often joins (even though him and alex are very soft with each other)

Price: the boomer of the gc often has no idea whats going on and ask questions daily (soap had to explain to him what bussy was and the whole gc excluding ghost cause he wasn't active at the time awre dying), doesn't understand any of the memes that are sent, regularly worries about ghost mental well being, becomes a supportive dad when ever gaz and alex or rudy and Alejandro are doing cute couple stuff, often sets up trips or hang outs

Gaz: often joins soaps chaos, post pictures of his and alex's dog regularly, argues with soap like its a debate club sometimes, messes with Alejandro and rudy about there relationship to which they often responsed "you have bf to shut tf up"

Alex: also post pictures of him and gaz's dog, post pictures of stuff he finds interesting (random coloured rock, cool stick), tries to talk with ghost but just ends up being left on read for 9 months, likes talking to price alot, sits back and watches soap and gaz's arguments for fun and then Alejandro or rudy often respond "alex come grab your bf so he stops verbally abusing soap" to which he often grabs gaz and its like "hun chill"

Ghost: used to respond to the gc every blue moon, now its like after 3 months, when he does talk about his life he is either going through the worst shit imaginable mentally and physically or just doing things no one expects him to do like cooking, makes alot of dark humor jokes,once just took a full body picture including his face and sent it to the gc with the caption "felt confident :P" to which everyone had a collective stroke because it was out of the blue and soap was trying not to say the most down bad shit

Sometimes i forget that ghost is legally dead and then i remember he is and just luagh cause this man is way to stubborn to go with the process of becoming a citizen again

And just one day mentions it to everyone like

"I never had a license to begin with cause i don't know how to drive but now i especially can't get one cause im still considered legally dead" and everyone is just like like "what" and price and soap are like

"That explains why you can't drive a car without slamming it into oncoming traffic"

So little late valentines thing

Soap is usally the one who makes the moves on ghost and ghost is very easily flustered so it works quite well and while he's not the most romantic, he still shows alot of affection towards soap like doing things for him or just simply laying down and cuddling him, but on valentines ghost decides to be a bit more fancy

Buying soaps favorite scotch, a bunch of chocolate including some "special chocolate" if you know what i mean 👀, he does himself up all nice, everyone notices especially when ghost goes up to laswell to ask if he can borrow some of the chocolate and he'll pay her back later

Laswell looks at him funny for a sec while the rest of the guys Stand confused, she realizes and then sighs

"You and soap have fun" she says handing him the box

"Oh im sure we will" he snickers walking away

Cut to price gaz and alex (Alejandro and rudy are off eating dinner most likely) gaz and alex have just been cuddling and watching romcoms while eating chocolate

Price, has just been eating candy he got himself while kate had been making plans to video chat her wife

"Price you might want to get some headphones for tonight"

Later that night soap comes to his room seeing ghost propted,up on a counter glass of Bourbon in hand wearing a robe chocolates, scotch and Bourbon beside him with candles, burning and the sweet smell of lavender in the air, and is that lipstick he's wearing?

"Jesus simon your gonna be the death of me" soap says walking over to ghost kissing him and the rest of that night was filled with lust but most importantly love.

Price decided to sleep on the couch in gaz's room cause fuck that shit ghost is noisy as hell.

So i just like to live with the idea of ghost used to keep his hair short when he was fresh into the military but its very fluffy and wavey when grown out so he started to grow it out to shoulder length as he got older and when the team saw him for the first time they just saw fluffy brown hair with left over blonde from where he dyed it ( I hc he dyes his hair blonde cause thats what his moms natural hair was) and when soap saw it after the mission he begged ghost to let him play wuth it cause he knows how to do hair (based on another headcanon i have that soap has sisters so he learned frin them) and ghost finally broke and soap gave him little hair buns and he wore them, around base the rest of the day cause he really liked them

I was recently thinking about how the boys dress out of work and i have no idea but i just imagine after ghost starts to get more comfortable he dress more and more like this around everyone

That and I just love these sweaters
