This Week’s Horrible-Scopes

(Yes, yes.. I got busy this week.. sorry for the delay....)

It’s time for this week’s Horrible-Scopes! So for those of you that know your Astrological Signs, cool! If not, just pick one, roll a D12, or just make it up as you go along. It really doesn’t matter.

Aries

Which is all the opportunity they’ll need to lick the inside of your mouth. And that is then the real challenge!

Gemini

There’s a reason why you still listen to and love Disco music unironically; you’re just hoping it comes back so you can be a session recording musician on French Horn. Sad to say, unless you form your own disco band, that’s not going to happen. It’s not impossible! Tower of Power is a group of session musicians who made their own band… but you singing and playing French Horn at the same time? It’s not a kazoo. That IS impossible.

Cancer Moon-Child

We have to talk 80’s music with you. In 1981 The Pointer Sisters released the song, “Slow Hand”, which had a speed of 111 Beats Per Minute. In 1988, Tracy Chapman’s song “Fast Car” was released at a speed of 104 Beats Per Minute. Meaning someone, somewhere, made a Slow Hand faster than a Fast Car, ironically enough… which reminds us, “Ironic” was released by Alanis Morissette in 1996 and at 115 Beats Per Minute is the fastest of the three! And there’s still nothing ironic in the use of that song.

Leo

You want to rule the world, but what are you going to do with it once you have it? See, you’ve got these great, grand plans but only up to a point. That’s why you need a literal Partner in Crime to help fill in the missing parts of your plan. Do you want to be stuck like Doctor Doom, constantly fighting all those Do-Gooders when you know that your way is actually the best way? This week spend your time reading every comic book you can so you don’t make any screw-ups later.

Virgo

Our prediction is that people who know you do respect you, but most strangers don’t. Results like this mean most of the world doesn’t respect you… so it looks like you were right after all.

Libra

There are a lot of devices on the market that are pure marketing cash grabs. Those advertisements that say, “Buy These Plans For Unlimited Electricity Before The Man Stops Us From Selling Them”? They’re bogus. The 6-inch cubes that claim to cool off a room in seconds? Just use a fan. And the Tabletop Clothes Dryer That Uses Vacuum Technology? The front window is cheap, 2mm thick plastic that would implode. Don’t buy anything you don’t need this week.

Scorpio

They say if you learn one Romance language, you basically learn them all. So you could learn Italian, French, or Spanish and be fairly understandable in most of Eastern Europe and associated areas; even Quebec. But if you want to have world-wide understandability learn Klingon! It’s universally available to learn, easily identifiable by sound and tone, and no one cares if you have an accent. And if they do, just punch them in the throat.

Sagittarius

Jigsaw puzzles are only fun to a certain extent. Once you’ve put it all together, what do you do with it? Turn it over, glue it in place and put it in a picture frame, or break it back up again? You and Leo need to figure out how you’re going to rule the world together, because you obviously can’t do it individually.

Capricorn

We can’t trust you on a trip to Australia. You’ll be wanting to meet all the animals and they are more dangerous than they are cute. Blue Ring Octopuses are tiny and look adorable, but they’ll put you in an iron lung for three weeks if they sting you. Just touching trees is dangerous too! And don’t get us started on needing to flush the toilet before you use it to make sure there are no snakes under the rim. Take your vacation to the county library instead.

Aquarius

Bribery occurred, so a NICE ‘Scope for you this week! We’re only just crossing into the Summer months, meaning the Earth is moving further from the Sun towards aphelion. The best part about this week? It means we’re still moving farther away from Christmas Music. The worst part is that we’re moving into “Afternoon Delight” territory. How is this “Nice” for you this week? You still like NPR news and bought a set of earbuds recently. Use them together and you won’t have any earworms to think about. All Things Considered misses you.

Pisces

Here’s your Tech Quicky for the week! You remember the TV show “Babylon 5”? Crush/Significant Other/Whatever Survey

1: Do they drink coffee? he does on occasion. he’s been drinking it more when we go out for breakfast with my parents and siblings. and i wouldn’t be surprised if he drank it at work, especially since it’s starting to get colder.

2: Are they left or right handed? right.

3: How do they do their hair? Facial hair? (If they have it) it’s either growing out and all over the place, or he gets it cut and it’s usually shorter on the sides and longer at the top. he usually has some facial hair, but it doesn’t really come in super well, so it ends up getting shaved because his boss complains.

4: What’s their favorite animal? dogs for sure.

5: What is their relationship status? married to me.

6: What is their favorite band/singer? i don’t even know if he has a favorite band or singer right now. seems to just have a few favorite songs by various different bands and artists.

7: Are they more a cat or dog person? dog for sure. he’s not a fan of cats, and he is also allergic to them.

8: What does their laugh sound like? i don’t really know how to describe it. it’s loud though, and when he does laugh, you can’t help but laugh with him.

10: How old are they? How old are you? we are both 25. there is only a 22 day age difference between us.

12: Do they have any pets? we have two dogs, phe and cocoa. cocoa is more his dog though.

13: What is their favorite TV show? he doesn’t really have a favorite show right now. but he prefers shows on discovery or science channel, and then things like american dad and bob’s burgers, and ridiculousness and impractical jokers.

17: Where did you meet them? i met him in middle school. 7th grade although we didn’t really start talking until 8th.

18: What was your first meeting like? i don’t really remember, besides i was shy and awkward and wouldn’t talk to him, so he started sitting on my lap to try and make me talk to him.

23: Your favorite feature about their appearance. eyes. i love his eyes. i was hoping wy would get his eyes, but his are more hazel, and i love them just as much. i’m curious what color eyes ellie will have.

24: Your favorite thing about their personality. he isn’t afraid of anything. he doesn’t worry about anything. he has this attitude that things will get figured out, and then pretty much always manages to do it. it’s crazy. he also isn’t afraid to tell anyone how it is. although he could definitely be nicer when he does that sometimes. and he could also be nicer to wy and my youngest sisters too... he doesn’t really let them be kids, and it infuriates me when he spanks wy because he’s only a year and a half, and so he doesn’t understand. but anyways... there are other things i do like, such as his ability to make me laugh without trying.

28: What is your favorite “flaw” that they have? there is a mark kind of by his eye... don’t really notice it - it’s just like... a little indent i guess you could say... super small.. but wy has the same thing.

31: Saddest? when he’d talk about how his dad was never part of his life except for holidays, and even then he didn’t really talk to him.

I am very good at reading people, so I lay low for a while and watch. Once I get a good feel for someone I can adjust my personality to fit theirs. It’s why I get along with so many different kinds of people.

I have a few. One of them is an entire state away. One of them lives 5 minutes from me, the other two live about 20-25 minutes from me. At this moment, I don’t know specifically where any of them are.

Yeah, sometimes.

I think I would relive the half-hour chunk of time from my 5th birthday party when me and my best friend at the time were outside in the cold November fog riding a miniature pony.
