cherrim: its pokedex was so funny i had to JHDFJH. something something sun related. i love imagining it running around in circles but the second a cloud comes by it just collapses. that's a good pokemon to have with you i think

nidoking: there is no reason for his inclusion except for the fact that i caught this one with perfect stats immediately after the resistance fight in 2021... and then i caught another one with perfect stats on the anniversary in 2022 JHDJFH. affectionately named revolution 2 btw <3

swinub: hehe pig thing. ignore the name, that's just me naming it (it was one of mine before being thrown onto his team bc it's the only non-shiny one i have. also has perfect stats :P)

It's nice and rainy which is nice, Ive been hoping for a big storm lately but nothing as of yet.

Acacia's out and he seems a bit anxious to be here for the last time. He hasn't gone back to visit his old hive since getting caught, though I've given him ample opportunity to visit. I'm a little worried that he wants to say goodbye but is too afraid to. They didn't treat him very well as a whole, due to the whole red honey thing, but I can imagine he still thinks of them as family, y'know? And I'm sure he was close with a few of them.

After we leave today, I might wander us down to the hives proper and ask him if he wants to see them. I might fistfight his vespiquen if she tries to make him feel bad, though. From what I can tell, she's a real piece of work. My buddy's got a Florges that I caught for her last year on account of them not being native to Galar, and Acacia flocks to her every time we visit. Shes very regal, as Florges usually are, and I think she might remind him of his old queen. She's much nicer, though, a real sweetheart once you earn her trust.

Either way, I'm going to at least give acacia a chance to say goodbye, and I'll have Aneurin's ball ready in case something bad happens. I'm gonna protect my little buddy :)
