Where Is My Mind by The Pixies is a fucking insane song choice for a wrestling entrance. i thought my ears were fucking deceiving me when i heard the first note hit during a promo. and then the guy who comes out is ORANGE CASSIDY??
#THE JEANS GUY????#yes it is the Fight Club song but the tone of it sucks the air out of the room imo. which might be what he's going for#the first time i ever heard that song was on a youtube slideshow about the symptoms of disorganized schizophrenia#orange cassidy#aew#it seems like it's just the instrumental and oohing at the beginning that plays for his entrance but still#my jaw hit the fucking floor#that song is about being psychologically tormented. and then he's just there like 🕶️👖#why is your entrance theme a haunting durge#and the fact that he must have hit up the pixies and they were like ya man this is an appropriate use of this song go ahead#i guess it is effective since it obviously left a huge impression on me

okay here’s my opinions of the silly songs
like I said I would
so long story short:
tier list link
if you wanna hear me elaborate for whatever reason, I will!
I should maybe go in order of the songs from yellow green to red.
“Asteroid Cowboys” was fine but Veggies in Space is kind of an episode I already don’t revisit that much, so in tandem, I don’t actually remember this song all that well. “A Mess Down in Egypt” I barely remember for the same reason; I haven’t revisited Moe and the Big Exit since the first time I saw it. And again, I haven’t seen Merry Larry since a couple months ago, and the visuals themselves were a bit squicky to me, I’m not sure why. It’s cute in concept though! (I probably sound like a really pretentious critic right now)
OKAY, moving on to yellow! “Best Friends Forever” obviously feels very “how do you do, fellow kids“ but honestly, from an in-universe lens, I just like seeing Laura hanging out, so I don’t entirely mind it. “Happy Tooth Day” I get to hear a good bit from virtue of watching The Little House That Stood pretty frequently. I like Jimmy, Jerry, and Mr. Lunt just forming a little brass trio for the first part of the song. Madame Blueberry wacking Larry with a baseball bat was really cool too. Plus, Bob doing his little yelps and shouts is always a bonus for me. I don’t have strong feelings on “The Blues with Larry“ . Except for the poodle at the end. I like the poodle. And Lincoln destroying a cookie with a guitar was pretty neat. “S.U.V“ I also don’t have strong feelings on. The product placement was bizarre though. Not that it bothers me much though. I feel like VT will just randomly slip in a reference to a real life world thing and it’ll end up making me wonder if Big Idea ever has to pay fees or whatever people have to do to say the name of a brand or a celebrity. Or maybe they just don’t and say it anyway. I know they got into some hot water with the owners of the Lord of the Rings IP over Lord of the Beans though so... yeah, “S.U.V“ is fine. I usually skipped “The Biscuit of Zazzamarandabo“ while watching The Big River Rescue. When I did listen to it fully though; it’s pretty alright. I do like the idea of Archibald just going on a road trip with some of the other guys to go see a biscuit on top of a mountain while info-dumping about on the way. “The Song of the Cebu“ is funky and I like Archibald interjecting every few minutes just to tell Larry about much of a shit show the slideshow is becoming. Archibald saying “I’ll have to speak to Bob about this“ just makes me wonder what the fuck they did behind the scenes just to end up (unintentionally) crushing Larry’s spirit the way that they did. I think it’d make for a good angst premise. I usually skip “Obscure Broadway Showtunes“ or just don’t pay attention to it when watching Pistachio, but it sounds fine. I’m just not into it. I liked the fanged stapler at the end. “The Water Buffalo Song“ is a classic, I know. There’s just not much to revisit with this one divorced from the episode it’s from. But I do like it! Or however much was allowed to be sung before Archibald came in and chastised Larry for the song. I like how Larry holds the note.
YELLOW ORANGE TIME!!! I really like “Endangered Love” but it sucks that every time I have to remember this song, it keeps defaulting to “Barbara Manatee“ as the title. Larry watches a soap opera. He dances with a stuffed animal. Bob has a “go touch grass“ moment. Bill learns to dance! It’s a nice song. “His Cheeseburger“ isn’t one of my favorites but it’s still really good. I don’t actually have a lot to say about it, but Mr. Lunt’s just iconic. “Lance the Turtle“ is good for a thrown-together-gimmick song and (unsurprisingly) Bob is always the highlight of these things for me. “Love My Lips“ has the “it’s a lip“ William Tell Overture part and I kinda like that part. Overall, good song. I like “Monkey.“ I first heard it on youtube some months ago and it got stuck in my head a bit. Seeing Bob with a tail was kinda great. OOOH “YODELING VETERINARIAN OF THE ALPS!“ Here’s the start of my favorite Silly Songs. I loved this song so much when I heard it for the first time a couple months ago. I love the Scallions + Frankencelery quartet. “THE DANCE OF THE CUCUMBER!!!” I love this song but it actually almost made me think Bob never sang before. I ALMOST FELL FOR LARRY’S TEASING! IT WAS THE HOLLOW KNIGHT CLOTHING INCIDENT ALL OVER AGAIN!!! (for context, I had a small moment in time where I thought fabric didn’t exist in the Hollow Knight universe) Aside from that, this song fucks.
ORANGE!!!!!! Okay this might seem like a weird one because I generally don’t see people talk about Sheerluck at all, but I kinda love “Gated Community”??? I just really like the rhythm of it. Once again, Larry holds a note and I really like it when he does that. “Larry’s High Silk Hat“ is great! Honestly, I think I’m just kinda into tarantella in general. “Oh, Santa“ is really cool, but now it sorta makes me think of Larry doing a “Santa Baby“ cover. I love Scallion 1′s weird little noises and also Bob just being the way that he is. “The Hairbrush Song“ is such a delightfully hammy song to me and! I don’t think I have to state what my favorite part is in this. My SECOND favorite part though is the ending part after the Peach leaves. I love that part of the song. And finishing off the oragne row, “The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything“ is just a fun song!
RED and the only thing in red; I fucking love “Belly Button.“ I’m not immune to vegetables in a boy band. The flashy zoom-ins on the members give me so much life. Khalil’s rap bit is cool, and I always enjoy the line-toeing of whether we should be considering these produce characters as plant or animal.
If you actually read this all the way through; Congratulations and I’m so sorry! And I know there’s a lot of songs I haven’t listened to and my defense is that I’ve only seen like a fourth of the VT catalogue.
It’s like 11:30PM where I am so... good night everybody!
#veggietales#super kinda long post#did this one now because I honestly don't wanna address them along the episodes just to cut down how much I'd have to write in that case#okay so some of the ones in green are a lie#I've heard some but I've never heard the whole thing#like the sneezing doctor one and I only heard the original version of the polish foods song

Fic writer questions I never get asked
Thanks for the tag, @khashanakalashtar! This is an interesting list!
What date did you make your AO3 profile? What date did you post your first fic?
I joined AO3 on February 5, 2018. Seriously. I was FFN-only for so long. I posted my first fics on AO3 the day I joined. My first fics ever to hit the internet, however, were published on July 13, 2011, which is when I got my FFN account.
Do you cross-post your work?
Yeah, still. When I first got my AO3 account, I posted a bunch of things that were already on my FFN account, and these days I put basically everything on both. I like that FFN gives a pretty accurate and nearly complete timeline of my fanworks, which is the main reason I’m still posting there. Nothing I’ve posted there in the past three years has gotten much engagement, and I know the site is dying.
What’s your fic with the most comment threads? The most bookmarks? Are the top 5 of those categories basically the same, and basically the same as the top 5 kudos?
Top 5 by comment threads:
Face the Future with You (Check Please)
Man Oh Man, You’re My Best Friend (Check Please)
It’s Always You (Check Please)
Love in the Time of Influenza (Carry On)
I Love You, All Right? (Check Please)
Top 5 by bookmarks:
Love in the Time of Influenza (Carry On)
The Aftermath of Angelic Assumptions (Good Omens)
Man Oh Man, You’re My Best Friend (Check Please)
Nightmares (Carry On)
Christmas Planning (Carry On)
Top 5 by kudos:
Love in the Time of Influenza (Carry On)
Face the Future with You (Check Please)
Nightmares (Carry On)
The Aftermath of Angelic Assumptions (Good Omens)
Christmas Planning (Carry On)
So basically the Check Please fandom comments more and the Carry On fandom is more into bookmarks and kudos, and there’s more of a correlation between kudos and bookmarks than between either of those and comments.
What’s the word count of your longest fic or series?
“The Jumper Chronicles,” my longest fic on FFN, is 111,223 words. I abandoned it in 2015 and I really would not recommend it. On AO3, my longest fic is “who could ask to be unbroken (or be brave again)” at 14,772 words. It’s part of my longest series on AO3: “Samwell Men’s Harmonies” at 29,921 words.
What’s your most underrated fic?
MOST underrated? I have 132 fics on AO3, so there are a lot of potential answers. I guess I’ll pick my work with literally the fewest kudos: it’s a charming little rhyming poem about Harry Potter called “The Willow May Whomp You.” It has two kudos, fewer than 70 hits, no bookmarks, and no comments. I was so proud of it when I finished it, and AO3 really did not care.
Does your early work contain any writing sins?
I had heard that not breaking up your dialogue was bad (which it’s not? Who told me this? Why did I believe them? Ugh), and I thought that adding adverbs to dialogue tags constituted breaking up your dialogue. So I had lots of unnecessary beats and adverbs and internal monologue mixed up in what otherwise might have been passable dialogue scenes. (I don’t remember whether this came up a ton in my fics and I don’t feel like looking, but I remember it pretty clearly in the original stuff I was working on back then.)
Have you ever had a work podficced?
Yes! I requested it for Fandom Trumps Hate, though, so I don’t know if it counts, exactly. It’s not like someone read my work and approached me about podding it. Anyway, my Yuri on Ice fic “When and If” has a podfic version.
Have you posted any podfics? Fanvids? Fanart?
I was going to say no, and then I remembered that back in, like, 2009, I tried to make a couple Romione fanvids, one to Taylor Swift’s “You Belong with Me” and one to “I’m Not That Girl” from Wicked. Unfortunately for everyone involved, I didn’t have a clue how to pull bits of video from a movie (still don’t, actually), so they were basically slideshows. I’ve long since taken them down from YouTube and the computer I made them on has long since died, so I can’t prove any of this to you, but . . . uh, yeah. That happened.
Are there any trends in your favorite ships?
I feel like there have been, like, eras of my shipping. When I first started shipping (i.e. before I realized I’m queer), it was basically “girl I can project on” shipped with “literally whoever her canon love interest is, regardless of anything about him” (Romione, Percabeth). Then it was “asshole guy” shipped with “other guy who interfaces between the asshole guy and the rest of the world” (Johnlock, Otayuri to a lesser extent). I feel like it’s becoming “broken person whose coping mechanism is meanness” shipped with “broken person whose coping mechanism is sunshine” (Zimbits, maybe Snowbaz). This is pretty similar to the asshole x interface-with-world, but the relationship is a little more mutual and balanced, and the mean one has a better excuse for being mean.
Do you have fandoms you’ve written a lot for? Fandoms you’ve only written a one-off for?
Fandoms I’ve written a lot for: Check Please, Carry On, Harry Potter, Sherlock, Lizzie Bennet Diaries, and Yuri on Ice. (I’m defining “a lot” as at least five fics, and please note that I’ve got a 30k Lizzie Bennet Diaries fic that’s only on FFN because I really don’t like the ending.)
Fandoms I’ve only written one-offs for: Discworld, Turtles All the Way Down, Maleficent, the Chronicles of Narnia, Paper Towns, Six of Crows, Hoot, the Odyssey, Song of the Lioness, and Downton Abbey. (There are multiple other fandoms with two fics each.)
What fandom got you into fandom?
Harry Potter. I’d been writing next gen fics for like two years when a school acquaintance shared an FFN link to a Marauders fic on Google Buzz and I was hooked.
Do you have a strategy for summaries?
I try to describe the premise/first part of the plot, and I add notes that might be relevant (i.e., major trigger warnings or other things that might put people off). I don’t use quotes, either from the story or from anywhere else.
Do you use beta readers? For what? Do you have a go-to beta?
Occasionally for plot/general “is this good?” type feedback, or if they’re mandatory for an event, I guess. (I’m doing my first bang, so that’s a new thing for me.) I don’t feel the need to use a beta for spelling, grammar, or punctuation since I’m a semi-professional copyeditor. These days I do read most things to my QPP over the phone before publishing them. That’s usually more of a cheer-reading situation than a beta situation, though.
I tag @doggernaut @carryonsimoncarryonbaz @birlcholtz @cricketnationrise and anyone else who wants to play!

I went to my second K-Pop concert recently! My first one was Friday night of KCON 2016. The concert I went to recently was none other than B.A.P’s PARTY BABY: NYC Boom~! It was an amazing event, although I spent the bulk of my time waiting in line. I didn’t realize it was a standing venue until I was already en route to the concert… (I should have worn my regular sneakers instead of my wedge sneakers… Oh well.) Here are mirror selfies of my outfit:
Fun fact: The cat ear headband and wedge sneakers were the same ones I wore to my first concert.
For this B.A.P world tour, there were dress code options set by each of the members.
It ended up being Himchan’s night~! For my outfit, I was trying to fit the ROSE theme as well as the SEXY & SPECIAL one.
They had a “bar” set up, and it was really cute. Himchan took his time selecting the winner, and the other members kept urging him to hurry up! The SEXY & SPECIAL girl Himchan picked was someone with really pretty pink hair (and a cool handbag!). The girl got to go on the stage and hang out with the members a bit at the “BABYz LOUNGE,” pictured above.

I met so many cool people in the line outside the concert! I even snagged a $1 light stick that a fan was selling. She made a ton of light sticks out of foam, and they were really light and easy to carry, and they also lit up green! There were also tons of freebies being passed around: fan signs, cards, and more.
It was amazing seeing all the Matoki light sticks in the crowd! Look at all the green bunnies~!
Unfortunately, all my photos are really blurry since I was really far away; I bought the cheapest ticket. I used my phone camera on maximum zoom to capture most of these. The only song I captured on video in its entirety was Wake Me Up since my arms were too tired to hold up my phone above other people’s heads for other songs (although I did catch snippets). Watch my fancam of B.A.P’s Wake Me Up performance!
You can also check out my fancam of Feel So Good. I might upload more fancams later!

My bias in B.A.P has been Zelo ever since their debut. I was sad they didn’t perform debut songs like Warrior or Power, but B.A.P has so many amazing songs, so it makes sense they can’t perform everything. My favorite performance was definitely the Wake Me Up one! This concert was also the first time I heard Zelo’s solo song. It was really pretty! I also thought all their outfits were on point!
And of course, I need to do a rundown of my own outfit… It was my first time wearing this MARS set out! The last time I wore it was literally just in my dorm room at college.
Here’s a coord rundown of my outfit for the concert:
Headband: Forever 21
Necklace: Vintage
Earrings: Claire’s
Top & Skirt: MARS
Tights: Offbrand
Wedge Sneakers: Guess
If you were at the concert, please share your experience too! I’d love to hear about the B.A.P concerts in other cities too.

On Sunday 24th November 2019, Snow Patrol arrived in Brighton to perform a wonderful show at Brighton Centre, on their Reworked Tour. Due to performing two sets, the band opted to have no support act. Here’s what we had to say about the show…
Snow Patrol
As a way of celebrating 25 years of Snow Patrol, the band recently recorded new versions of some of their biggest tracks, on their latest record, Reworked. To accompany the new release and further celebrate their milestone anniversary, the band embarked on the Reworked Tour, stopping for a date in Brighton.
The set was split into two halves – the first with a mellow, stripped-back ambience whilst following a short interval, the second half picked up the pace with a more full-on, upbeat vibe. However, throughout both sets, the band stuck with the “reworked” style, breathing new life into some of their best-loved hits and deepest cuts from their back catalogue.
What actually made the night even more special, was the fact that quite a few of the “reworked” versions of the songs they performed, were not even on the new album (Reworked), so just by being at a show on this tour. you get to experience something very special – these one-off gems may never be heard performed or recorded in the same way again.
The audience diversity at a Snow Patrol show is very interesting too – whilst there are typically middle-aged listeners who have undoubtedly followed the length of the band’s career to date, there are also children being accompanied by their parents, equally pouring their lyrics back to them. It’s quite bewitching to see such a range of fans, across a few generations, and is testament to the timelessness of the band’s work. That, and/or perhaps the newer versions of the band’s back catalogue have picked up a new generation of fans on the way. Either way, they are a band that can be enjoyed by everyone.
The effort and craftsmanship that went into the band’s performance was a wonderful experience and whilst they could easily sell out huge arenas, it was nice to see them playing the smaller scale of (still) big venues without compromising the quality and production of the show. The addition of both string and brass sections as well as an additional percussionist to the lineup, really added an interesting new depth to the songs too.
If you haven’t had the chance yet, there are only a handful of shows left on this incredible tour, to experience this unique take on the band’s long-standing career and I would highly recommend trying to catch one of them, if you can.
Highlights:
The banter between songs from Gary Lightbody was pretty dry, honest and hysterical. One of the best moments was during the start of ‘Run’ when someone screamed, “I love you,”, completely throwing him off by making him laugh. He then restarted the song but not before telling a witty anecdote about how he once ruined a television performance of the song, after which one person on Twitter had a go at him for, for “ruining Leona Lewis’ song.”
The addition of string and horn sections as well as a percussionist really added an interesting depth to the performance. Furthermore, having the two main producers of Reworked performing on the tour with them was quite a unique idea too.
Gary Lightbody took time to introduce all of the various extra instrumentalists on the stage with him, really showing his gratitude for their skills and performances with the band.
The energy and new life to the band’s back catalogue of songs was invigorating to watch, demonstrating that even after 25 years, this band are still enjoying performing to audiences…and still have so much to give!

,Toronto’s The Beaches have been on a bit of a whirlwind of late.
I caught up with Jordan Miller, Kylie Miller, Eliza Enman McDaniel, and Leandra Earl before their set at Parkjam in the Forest City, London, ON.
We talked about their freshly released EP The Professional, opening for and meeting The Rolling Stones, touring, new music, and more.
The period of 2018 to 2019 has been huge for The Beaches, building on an already successful journey. They won a Juno Award for Breakthrough Group in 2018. The band received a SOCAN Songwriting Prize nomination for their song Money. They made their CFL TV debut playing the halftime show. And, they were chosen as the opening act for the only Canadian stop on the Rolling Stones’ 2019 No Filter Tour.
They’ve also played Osheaga, Riverfest Elora, Download Festival in the UK, WTFest, The KEE to Bala, and of course, Parkjam. They’ve also been playing in the US with Passion Pit, and they’re hoping, as Canadian bands do, that they’ll get that US bump.
They’ll be hitting Riot Fest next, and then heading out on the road with Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes.

First, let me start with, if you follow the band on Twitter, you’ll know that after the Shawn Mendes Tim Horton‘s coffee cups were announced, The Beaches, reached out to local coffee chain, Coffee Time, asking if they’d be in for a collaboration. I had to ask, but sadly there is no deal in the works to put The Beaches on Coffee Time coffee cups. I think Coffee Time is missing the boat on this one.
Switching things over to music I asked about The Professional. Jordan responded with “it’s a bit of music that we’ve released since Late Show. And It was really cool, because we wrote it, and then released it. I mean, with the exception of Lame, all of the music that’s on The Professional was written in the last 10 months. So that was a really unique and awesome experience. To just write music, and then immediately put it out there.”
When I asked the band about highlights in the last year, I could have guessed their answers. Across the board, it was getting to meet and play with The Rolling Stones at Burl’s Creek this summer. AEG Presents (who work with The Stones) got to know the band while they were touring with The Glorious Sons, and they were instrumental in making this show happen. Although, Facetiming with Sir Elton John, was also mentioned.
“I’ve never been more nervous for a show before. Obviously. That was, it was just, it was insane. To be able to meet them, and to learn that they actually watched part of our set was incredible. So yeah, that was probably the one thing I can really think of as the big highlight of the year.” – The Beaches
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
With a brand new EP out, I wouldn’t have expected that there would be talk about new music yet. I was wrong! New songs are written, and everything for the next release is already recorded. We couldn’t get a release date but it’s coming.
The Beaches were gracious, friendly, kind, and funny during my time with them. I hope to do this again, soon, and to be honest, I would love to just hang with them, They were so easy to talk to!
5 Quick Questions with The Beaches
Q1: If you’re on a road trip, what’s the one album you can listen to on repeat?
TB: Rumours, by Fleetwood Mac.
Q2: What can fans expect from a live performance?
TB: Lots of the best music you’ve ever heard!
Q3: Is there a band or artist you think people should be paying more attention to?
TB: Goodbye Honolulu, and Fade Awaays.
Q4: Tell us something about you, that even your fans wouldn’t know.
TB: Jordan pretends to be allergic to fruit, but she’s actually not. She just hates it. TB: Jordan’s the funniest member. TB: Honestly, we’re kind of like nerds when it comes to like we have fun doing like nerdy, nerdy things.
Q5: Is there anything else you want to share with our readers?
TB: Stay updated! Join the mailing list.
Thanks to Jordan, Kylie, Eliza, and Leandra, for taking the time to meet with me. It was truly a pleasure.

HYTE is coming to Rotterdam for the very first time!
HYTE, the Berlin-based underground festival brand, is heading to the Netherlands for its Rotterdam debut to take over the main stage of “A Day at the Park” at Kralingse Bos on Saturday, September 21st, 2019. It’s a matter of love for the crowd in the Netherlands when it comes to the line-up, which features the best in techno and house. The soundtrack comes courtesy of leader of the techno-elite Chris Liebing, the guarantee for pumping basslines Nicole Moudaber, the house and techno craftsmanship of Nic Fanciulli, the inimitable Chicago charm of Green Velvet as well as Netherlands stalwarts Adin and Wouter S. And there’s one more big headliner on the bill, which is going to be announced in August.
But HYTE is more than just some big names on the line-up: Be prepared for the revered HYTE commitment to light, sound, and show design including the signature laser cage that always creates an incredible environment for likeminded partygoers.
Beacon of the underground HYTE sets another date in its Dutch calendar as it teams up with A Day At The Park, for the launch of a new collaboration that coincides with the festival’s return with an exciting new location. 20,000 partygoers are set to reignite the legacy of A Day At The Park on September, 21st, 2019 at Rotterdam’s Kralingse Bos, a venue carefully chosen to reflect the decade-plus history of the event. Fittingly, HYTE will curate a big stage and ensure that the brand’s first appearance in Rotterdam properly reflects its sterling reputation.
Naturally, the carefully-curated artists of HYTE x A Day At The Park 2019 will be supported by the same sterling production that has earned the underground events series a rock-solid standing in every corner of the globe; whether it’s Miami or Amsterdam, Berlin or Ibiza. Punters can look forward to sound that delivers the crispest highs and the deepest bass in this outdoor Rotterdam setting, alongside the trademark HYTE lighting and visuals. The signature laser cage will be in full effect, and HYTE regulars know to expect quality that is unparalleled.
HYTE is bringing some of the hottest artists of techno and house to Rotterdam. Get ready for…

…Chris Liebing
Not only has Chris Liebing led the techno-elite for more than 25 years, but he has also undergone constant creative evolution during that time. With a legacy that stretches back to Frankfurt’s iconic early scene, Liebing’s DJing experience stretches back even further to 1990 when he was playing hip-hop, soul and house in his university hometown of Giessen. A job at Frankfurt’s Eye Q Records, plus a legendary residency at Omen Club, represented his entry into a lifetime of techno. Leading his revered CLR imprint for nearly 20 years and famous for the incredible intensity he brings to his DJ sets, it was his refusal to stand still that saw him depart for the release of an artist album with the iconic Mute Records and to start a close collaboration with the legendary label. “I’ve wanted to do something like ‘Burn Slow’ all my life,” said Liebing. “I vividly remember dancing around at my neighbor’s house in the early ’80s to songs by Depeche Mode and Yazoo. Banging my head in dark basements to the likes of DAF, Laibach and Nitzer Ebb to name but a few.”
…Green Velvet
This Chicago legend has been taking ravers to “La La Land” for nearly as long as rave itself has existed, cultivating his love of house and techno while studying chemical engineering at the University of Illinois. Eventually, it was chemical engineering of the Acid House variety that drew the focus of Green Velvet. Releasing music also as Cajmere with a focus on jackin’ Chicago house, he reserved his Green Velvet alias for music steered down “an industrial lane.” His 1993 record “Preacher Man” was formative, inspired by a sermon from Reverend CL Franklin. “The minute I heard it, I just wanted to record something with it, that powerful vocal,” Green Velvet told Moo Kid. “He even kept roaring the word ‘house’!” In the early 1990s, he launched his Cajual label as well as its sister Relief imprint, and Green Velvet remains as relevant and present as ever as a new generation embraces house music across the US.
…a soon to be announced, special guest One more big headliner will be added to the massive line up of HYTE x A Day At The Park 2019 soon. Expect something big!
…Nicole Moudaber
Nicole Moudaber embodies the international spirit of techno, its ability to cross borders and speak a universal language. Raised in Nigeria of Lebanese descent, she’s lived in New York and thrown parties in Beirut, now situated in her home of London via Ibiza. A onetime protégé of Carl Cox and a regular on techno staples like Adam Beyer’s Drumcode label, Moudaber is also the boss of very own MOOD label and event series. She’s a slave to the pulse of the dancefloor and happily describes herself as a party animal; a lover of fast cars who holds a racing license, regularly hitting speeds of 270kph and upwards; and deeply passionate about activism. Moudaber has worked for years with the Lower East Side Girls Club in New York to mentor disadvantaged young women and most recently launched Eleven, her own campaign to end the practice of female genital mutilation (FGM). “Nobody knows about this subject,” Moudaber told DJ Mag. “I think these girls need a voice, and if I can be a bit of help, then my job is done in this world.” It’s this passion that shines through in Moudaber’s talent for rocking crowds the world over.
…Nic Fanciulli
The beginning of Nic Fanciulli’s journey to becoming one of house and techno’s most prevalent and consistent DJs and producers began in one of the most old-school ways imaginable: he handed a cassette demo to a club owner, in his hometown of Maidstone in the South East of England. “It was the place where everyone was playing – Carl Cox, Sasha and Digweed, Pete Tong,” Fanciulli told Traxsource. “I learned a lot of my craft there. That was my apprenticeship into music.” While he still lives in Maidstone, he now DJs in every corner of the globe, launching his seminal Saved Records imprint alongside his brother Mark Fanciulli that is swiftly approaching its 15th anniversary. He’s a regular for the HYTE celebrated events series, whether it’s a sweaty Amsterdam warehouse or a pristine island off the coast of Vietnam.
…Wouter S
Utrecht house-head Wouter S is positioned prominently among the next generation of DJ/producers who are bringing authentically jackin’ sounds to thirsty crowds, with his innate knack for timeless house (with a delicious side of UK garage) really hitting the spot whether it’s an intimate label showcase for his own 44Records imprint or a pumping HYTE warehouse event in Amsterdam. It’s a profile that Wouter has built from grassroots beginnings up over the past decade, cultivated on the side while ensconced in a previous life working in IT and sales. Electronic music is now his primary focus, and this year he’s introduced to the world what he describes as his “newborn baby” in the form of his new Kompai label. You’ll catch him representing the Dutch house massive at HYTE events over the summer.
…ADIN
ADIN is stalwart of the Netherlands’ incredible scene, arriving via a journey that took him from his home country of Bosnia to a Rotterdam record store. Honing his craft in the days when vinyl was king and producing his first tracks in the early noughties, ADIN has kickstarted 2019 with the launch of his new DREEF imprint. His sound is situated between European techno and his love for the more melodic side of the dancefloor. “My Balkan origins added to this love of melodies, as music is a huge part of the culture on that side of the world,” ADIN told Pulse in an interview. Beyond his Balkan roots, he points to his adopted home as the source of his inspiration. “I’m so happy that I’m living in such an amazing country like the Netherlands. We have the healthiest music scene in the world,” he says.

I am far from surprised that Camilla Cabello was hired by Loreal Paris as she is a natural beauty and seems at ease with herself both emotionally and physically (which I admit that I am in the process of working to improve within myself). I admit that my favorite song by Fifth Harmony when she was with them are both the songs Worth It feat. Kid Ink and Sledgehammer. Camilla Cabello also has a superb voice in the song Bad Things with Machine Gun Kelly. I also admit that this article influences me to consider using my Amazon music subscription to have a listen with Camilla Cabello's latest music collection.

I can easily understand and guess some of the reasons why Robert Wagner is being investigated. However, I am going to take a safe guess and say that he is innocent when it comes to the drowning of his former wife Natalie Wood. Robert Wagner may be keeping silent about the events leading up to Natalie Wood's death more because of other reasons outside of his innocence-i.e. wikipedia lists information to imply that he has been a ladie's man for part of his life and maybe he is being silent more to protect certain people in his personal life that he might have been friends with andor romantically involved with-yet this is still independent from the fact that I am going to guess that someone else besides Robert Wagner had something to do with Natalie Wood's drowning.

my condolences on the mother's loss of her son but the U.S. Army is not at fault for her son's death. Tragically once she admitted that he believed it was ok to throw up what he ate, this told me partially what contributed to his sudden death. I am far from a doctor but even I know that the human body is capable of handling 1000 to 1200 calories when trying to lose weight if overweight by at least 20 to 30 pounds or more. However, it can be tough on even an overweight body to force oneself to throw up food that was consumed and is meant to be converted into nutrients inside of your body.

I admit that I definitely intend to only resort to weight loss surgery as a last resort option as I intend to reduce my weight through certain eating and exercise habits. I am simply following my intuition to keep this link as a reminder why I must avoid weight loss surgery while I harbor military career dreams. I admit that I intend to do what I legally can with minimal risk to my health to manifest a 135 pound body or thinner by August 1 2018 or sooner even if I have to eventually eat separate foods from what my sweet husband eats. He should not have to restrict himself just because I intend to make eating moderations to achieve my weight loss goals by certain timelines. I am determined to do what I have to do to get thinner quicker this year even if it means eventually changing how often I write online by March 1 2018 andor sooner.

I admit that I am still in the process of fulfilling my intent to be a more consistent walker throughout the workweek but fortunately I am off to a good start today with already walking at least first thing this morning. This is another link that both my intuition and logic are indirectly influencing me to keep for both present and future reference. I intend to become more of a consistent runner who runs at least a mile or more a day by March 2018 andor sooner. However, my intuition is still guiding me to keep this link and work my way up to running at least a mile a day by keeping consistent with my walking through the month of February 2018.

On the first Sunday in October each year, friends and family of Richland Baptist Church gather for Homecoming service and an old fashioned Dinner on the Grounds.
On the first Sunday of October at Noon every year, my family shares the time-honored tradition of attending Homecoming and Dinner on the Grounds at Historic Richland Baptist Church, known fondly to the locals as “Old Richland.” Since the 1800’s, family and friends have gathered among the Middle Georgia pines of Twiggs County to worship and fellowship. With a nip in the air, this year was no exception. The service is reverent, the food is plentiful and the people are like coming home.
A guest book is placed on the welcome table and all are invited to sign.
A landmark on the National Register of Historic Places, Richland Baptist Church was built on October 5, 1811 and began with four male and eight female members. Situated down a long gravel road, the large-frame, white wooden church is constructed with a wide front porch and four columns that stretch across the front of the building. Complete with two aisles on the inside and three sections of long wooden church pews, the tall windows, dressed with black shutters, reach nearly to the rooftop. The original heart-pine wooden floors creak with rich history, and the chime of a metal church bell–three times–still signals the beginning of service. True to the original time period, the church has no modern day amenities; guests still use outhouses for restrooms. There is no sound system, but truth be told, microphones and speakers aren’t missed; the acoustics in the expansive room produce some of the most beautiful sounds my ears have ever heard.
Today, Richland Baptist Church opens only a few times each year for special occasion worship services.
During the 206th Anniversary Celebration this year, a gentleman by the name of Russell provided the special music for the service. With only a guitar, he sang a heartfelt solo and then led the congregation in a melody of hymns, inviting others to sing along. Upon the strum of the first cord, without hesitation, every church member lifted their voices in unison. As the harmonies filled the air, I was touched by the powerful sense of place, the belief we all share in faith and truth echoing in the melodies. The familiar songs, “I’ll Fly Away,” “I Saw the Light” and “Amazing Grace” are written on our hearts, memorized from our youth and, like a freely flowing river, run through our very veins.
A 40-foot cement table runs nearly the length of the entire church and is overflowing from end-to-end with covered dishes.
Once the service is over, everyone piles out of the church and onto the grounds, forming two lines down either side of a 40-foot cement table filled with every Southern covered dish you could imagine. Heaping baskets of fried chicken, pork tenderloin, barbecue, Brunswick stew, buttermilk biscuits, casseroles, congealed salads and a variety of cakes, pies and cobblers fill our plates in true Baptist fashion. This year, I made sweet potato pie and an old fashioned heirloom tomato salad with cucumbers and onion. There were no leftovers.
Much like the music that bears witness to my upbringing, the foodways of a land are never more proud than Dinner on the Grounds. The banquet table in all its glory is the Song of the South, the anthem of farmers, the prized recipes of generations gone before us.

Today, Old Richland is managed by Richland Restoration League, a volunteer committee formed to ensure the upkeep of the building and the grounds. Services are held only three times yearly, for Homecoming and a special fundraising event during Christmastime. Though the locals now meet every Sunday at New Richland, a small country church just a few miles away with such modern amenities as air conditioning and running water, we all look forward to that special fall day when the doors at Old Richland open once more and the church bells call us home.
