All of the dusk stars that can be found with Mr. Chazokov. I really love those moments, looking at the stars and hearing their stories.

And that was without even getting into how he’s an anti-vaxxer, and believes football stadiums look like eyes from above because they’re conduits for satanic rituals.
I haven’t seen a direct tweet for this one but apparently he lines the walls of his house with tin foil too. Guy’s fucking bananas.
And “A person does NOT become another person.”, he’s so fucked in the head he can’t even understand the concept of science fiction.
What do you mean the first ever Doctor Who serial is now missing from official release bc the writer's son who inherited the rights cancelled them out of a vague revenge plot, either for not paying his dad enough in the 60s, or bc he's mad that they cast a woman and a black man as the Doctor
He also seems to think his dad created Doctor Who and that he owns the TARDIS as a concept now which. Okay

Karma list
[OUTDATED]
The ideas I have regarding their Karma status and my reasons. May be changed down the road of course!
(Ps- using karma names for descriptors, not level or power stats)
Neutral Karma
Buck Ruffler Drifter
A complete gambler. At most he's simply just that.
Holly Graylle (morally grey) Beholder
Her dedication towards the Brotherhood of Steel is the main reason to why. Her focuses are solely towards the cause of technology. Not one to help a person in need if it's not part of the mission. But her morals redeem it.
Prester Virgil (morally grey) Egocentric
As a Minutemen member, he protects settlements and helps those in need. But due to paranoia of synths, acts of murder and threats has been committed. Done in good intent but that doesn't mean it's no longer bad anymore.
Cathal Bravecog Observer
Simply not involved within the wasteland or anything of it.
Tawney Esta Mercenary
Hired assassin. Whether it be a good or evil person being targeted, it's a job to do.
Graham Payser Renegade
Here for a good time and a thrill. Certainly not to the level of a raider, of course. But not actively pursing good or bad.
Evil Karma
Spruce Campbell Reaver
Acts done out of both survival and own wants. Certainly not to the lines of murder but more upon lying and stealing. Although not caring about the outcome to the other person's side.
Chip Revvington Reaver
As the same with Spruce, lying and stealing. But would be more prone towards the acts of threatening or harm. Both working together for self gains.
(Both work together. They're thieves and con men but both are never to the lines of a raider.)
Good Karma
Misty Monsoon Martyr
More sympathetic than most you'll meet in the wasteland. Whether it be helping an injured in need or returning the unhatched egg of a death deathclaw. It's just confidence that stops her.
Benjamin Biggs Samaritan
Even if his medical services are up for hire, he is to be the one to help those in need along the way.
Dave Brubot Dignitary
Not outright doing good acts since he's mostly seen on stage, but that doesn't mean he has a good heart and mind.
Flint Bonpyre Samaritan
Even if he doesn't fully admit his opinions, he has good morals and some past actions. Although not actively doing it.
Very Evil Karma
Brian Fiend
Beliefs of the Institute still stick. Will not murder for the "fun" of it but would be prone to more cruel acts if it means to raise probabilities of survival without any empathy.
Cosmo Kuiper Defiler
Acts being done out of greed. Whether it be verbally threatening those in debt to pay up or to physically threaten those into paying more. Little to no care in regards of the other person's situation in favor of own wants.
Very Good Karma
Mary Anna Exemplar
A helping hand for sure. Willing to help those in need that she comes across. Her strong hope in the future and survival of humanity is what keeps her to continue aiding those in need.
Belle Dama Urban Defender
A past lawbringer of the Regulators. Carrying strong hope and great morals. Even when her days are behind her, she still holds that sense of justice.
(Pps, this is my own thoughts on them so don't take them seriously qhdjkqodqhkdkqwk. Yea.)

Great post. It’s why I like to think of the opening as two separate stories.
An Unearthly Child (the episode) is of course brilliant, and separating the latter parts lets them stand on their own as a story rather than being simply a lesser continuation.
I think of the three episodes as The Firemaker (If The Keys of Marinus can get named after it’s last ep instead of it’s first why not this. Plus it works so much better than the other possible titles 100,000 BC or The Tribe of Gum).
I like the cavemen eps from An Unearthly Child
This knife has blood on it aka CSI: Stone Age
Ian stops the Doctor from killing a man with a rock
"Fear makes companions out of us"
Susan and her amazing flaming skulls
The cavemen fight scene. Super tense. Nothing graphic is shown, but our main characters faces tell us it was not pretty.
The mad dash to the TARDIS is really intense
Literally the last three eps are about a group of people who don't trust eachother who need to work together to not die. Not only that, but our main characters struggles with this are mirroed on the caveman as well.
They are equally well shot and brilliantly acted like the first episode.
Yes, the first episode of An Unearthly Child is brilliant and I love it bits. Nothing can top that. But one cannot deny that the other eps are important to establish our main characters and their new situation.
Especially with Ian stopping the Doctor from killing a man. Come on, tell me that isn't a memorable scene.

I truly hate the precedent Hedi's move perpetuates. I can give Chris some leeway because his season theme called for such a move for his chances, but this is a bad bad thing for the integrity of the game.

Using a carbon steel knife as the striker for flint and steel:
Tumblr media
The supplies for this exercise, the knife is 1095 steel
Tumblr media
Make downward strokes, you strike the flint against the spine at a 45 degree or less angle. If you keep a lanyard loop on your knife, i suggest placing your thumb through it to prevent the knife from slipping out of your grip.
Tumblr media
The money shot
Tumblr media
Ready to be placed into the tinder bundle
Tumblr media
Make sure your tinder has good contact with the ember
Tumblr media
Slowly and steadily blow air into the tinder bundle. It's not about how fast or hard you can blow into the tinder bundle, its about how steadily you can keep the flow of oxygen to the ember.
Tumblr media
Success!
Tumblr media
Not every knife will make sparks with flint. Even some carbon steels won't produce a spark. Using this method does leaves marks on the spine of your knife.
