I literally would rather die coughing up my own lungs or being eaten alive by the zekes than go through anything Diana did in Fear. Also I'm not exactly a fan of the accelerated pregnancy or the superfast growth of the alien-demon-child plot. However.

If you get past the silliness and trauma, some of the interactions Diana has with Gaia are so incredibly funny that i've decided to just roll with it.

Snarky, cynical, manipulative Diana, made that way by the adults who either failed her or abused her, praying for a normal baby and thinking about it as redemption, a chance to prove she's a better person:

what i would give for the Gone series to have been written by a woman. Imagine a world where Astrid is able to come to terms with religion WITHOUT immediately having sex with Sam. Perfect, beautiful. As things should have been. I want her to exist in that world as her own person and not just an accessory to Sam.

also, Diana? why is she reduced to having a baby, and that's what redeems her as a person. MG ruined Diana as a character by reducing her to her sex appeal, which is what everyone in the series had been doing.

and Taylor, who would exist as hopefully something more than just a rival to Astrid.

But anyway, I want to definitely keep posting these on here since I'm currently writing scripts for Plague lol (so I'm a bit behind). Anyway, here's episode 6! In this one I had the most fun writing the Lana stuff. Her plot in this first book is *chefs kiss*

i'm SO bad at these lol and I have no idea how active the gone fandom is on tumblr these days but I am rereading the books for the nth time since being an OG reader back in the 2010s and have fallen head first back in love with everything. so... here I am!

i have endless thoughts about the series, I will defend quinn like my life depends on it and I really believe it is the book series that defined me most in my life. nice to be here!!!
