there's a lot to be said about the tragedy of the loss of low-budget campy fantasy shows in western media bc unless they're like high-budget, overly-produced and stripped of any filler they get cancelled after one season of 8 episodes but truly one of the biggest defense in favor of them and why we need them is the malec wedding kiss in shadowhunters

#shadowhunters #malec #this wasn't even my show as i only really ever watched their storyline #but the drama of that scene remains so excellent #the fantasy elements of the wedding; the background music; the storming in at the right moment #the first kiss on alec's wedding day to another person in front of everyone #we just don't have shows like that anymore #yeah it sucked and the writing was terrible most of the time #but also they put their whole pussy in that!!
