Summary: Even after years of fancy gatherings, Bruce wants nothing more than to give in to his introvert nature and run away from them. You however, have taught him that after sticking it out, they might not be so bad.

Gala’s were something that Bruce never really liked. 

As Bruce Wayne - the billionaire, playboy, golden child, Prince of Gotham - he couldn’t get to enough of them. 

As Batman - the brooding, ‘I work alone but not really’, Protector of Gotham - he avoided them at all costs. 

But as himself - the friend, father, husband, Bruce - his thoughts on such events could only be described as apathetic. 

Over the years he grew a very nice façade to hide how he truly felt. After the entrance of his wife, and then each child that followed, it became easier to fake, and he did have to admit they became a little more enjoyable with proper company anyway. 

Of course, the first time he saw she who would be his wife at one of these events, she was hanging off the arm of some blond, tanned, rich member of high society. From his knowledge and meetings with her on the streets she wasn’t exactly supposed to be enjoying it as much as she looked like she was. 

Turns out she was one great faker too. 

Over the course of the past seventeen-ish years, Bruce got to know the various ways you dealt with these gala’s. 

While he was tempted with the recluse lifestyle everyday, you managed to get him out of the house when it was needed. Even if it was a big house, he still needed to get out of it sometimes. 

With the outings you used to force him on, he was able to learn a thing or two from you. You weren’t born into wealth like he was, and you never had it until you married him, but you took to it like a fish to water. Well, the avoiding attention part anyway. In fact, when it came to going to gala’s with you, he was surprised at how little attention you drew when you didn’t want it. 

The first time you went as a couple, and then again as a married couple, were the worst as far as being left alone went, and he did expect it. Newspapers craved that sort of thing. 

After that, when it was just him and you, the most you were asked of was the journey between the car and the front door thanks to the press and media - once inside you could sulk away to a corner or table, get up for a dance or two, loiter at the bar and then go home without anymore than a half dozen people approaching. Those were very good nights for Bruce, mainly because on those nights he’d rather be anywhere else. 

As if he didn’t feel that way about them anyway. 

But lately your trick of not gaining attention at the gala’s wasn’t working anymore. It wasn’t that people were noticing him again, no it was because they were noticing you. 

Namely someone kept noticing you. 

“You both have never looked more alike.” 

Tim slid into a set opposite Bruce and Damian. Bruce had a crystal tumbler filled with ginger ale pressed to his lips, unmoving as his eyes locked onto where you stood across the room. Damian was in the exact same position, whether knowingly or not, and was sending a glare towards the man who was looking far too happy about talking to you. 

“We are kind of literally related, Tim.” Bruce mumbled, sipping his drink before setting it down and leaning back in his seat.

“He’s too close.” Damian whispered.

“I know.” 

“She could get uncomfortable soon.”

“I know.”

“If it bothers you so much then either of you could go over there and whisk her away.” Tim said, shaking his head a little. “Bruce could pull out his charisma, or the gremlin could pretend to ask for a dance with his mother all cute and mother-son-like.”

Damian switched his glare over to Tim.

“Why don’t you go and fix it since you’re so smart?”

“‘Cause it’s not bothering me as much as it is you.” Tim laughed. Bruce looked between his two sons, then up to where you and the man were talking. “She can handle herself. Plus he’s way below her league anyway, if she doesn’t know that then something’s wrong.” 

“You don’t think Ummi’s being mind controlled right now, do you?” Damian asked, sitting straighter and squinting a little. “We should go home and -”

Bruce stood, patting Damian’s shoulder as he pushed his chair back in, and then strode over to your side. 

As usual, you noticed his approach with barely having to look, and reached out an arm as he pressed his side to yours. His arm wound it’s way around your waist, and he offered his free hand to the man whose conversation he probably just ruined. 

“Nice to meet you, I’m Bruce Wayne.” he said, lips tight in one of the best and believable fake smiles he’s put on in his entire life. 

“Henry Syrus.” The man said, stepping to match Bruce’s fake pleasantries with his own, “I was just having the most wonderful conversation with your darling wife about the art pieces here. 

“Next time you should compare novelty keychains.” Bruce’s voice was light, but you could tell there was a little something underneath. “I’m afraid I’ll have to take her away for a dance before the night dies down too much.” 

So without another word, Bruce swept you away and onto the dancefloor with the hoard of other swaying couples. 

“You need to practice that.” 

“Practice what?” he asked, looking down at you as his fingers intertwined with yours. 

“The ‘I’m taking my wife away from someone who makes me feel like they’re making her feel weird’ thing you just pulled.” you said, a small smile twitching onto your features from your lips up to your eyes - your first genuine smile of the night - and Bruce was proud to think it was because of him. 

“I did that?” he mused, feigning thought for a moment, “I don’t think I did.” 

“Well you weren’t jealous. Everyone - including you! - says Bruce Wayne does not get jealous.” Bruce spun you away, and then back closer to him again. Closer than before. 

“I don’t need to get jealous, I know you can’t resist me.” he mumbled against your ear, then pressed a kiss to your cheekbone before leaning back some again. “That’s why you keep sticking around.”

“I thought I stuck around because you’re filthy rich and never at home, so that I have the place to do as I please.” 

“Okay, okay,” he said, chuckling, “Now you’re really teasing me.” 

“I’m just getting started.” you said, a sly glint in your eye that made his arm around you tighten. 

“Oh? Dare I ask what else you have in store?” he replied, preparing to meet whatever you came up with. You hummed at him, surveying the room and fellow dancers before looking back up at him again.

“I’m gonna take you home, pull you into our bedroom, and take you out of this monkey suit -”

“- it’s a tux, not a suit -”

“- I’m going to take you out of this tuxedo,” you corrected, tugging on his tie as he smiled down at you, “And then we’re gonna sleep for twelve. Whole. Hours.” He groaned. 

“You love me so much. You know exactly what to say. You treat me so well.” 

“I know.” you said, smiling up at him. He couldn’t help but press his lips to yours in something a little longer than a peck, and you hummed again. “Now you’re making Henry jealous with all the faces you’re making.” 

“How can you tell, you can’t see him?” he asked. Looking over, he was able to see that, yes, the man you were with before wasn’t looking incredibly happy at the moment. 

“I’m a mother of at least five children, Bruce. And I have to deal with you. I can tell when someone’s glaring at my back.” 

“I do glare a lot.” He grimaced. “I should’ve known better.” 

“Underestimate me again and you’ll pay for it.”

“And if I do then you can name your price, my dear.”

Things the aot characters would match with u ?

Eren

Sneakers. It makes him somewhat giddy when you guys wear them at the same time, particularly if it was unplanned. 

He just thinks they look nice, and it’s something that you guys can match with that doesn’t look completely obvious or cringe. You can wear them at the same time or on your own, but for Eren it’s really just knowing that you’re wearing something he bought you.

Not matching matching per se, but one of my favorite things to think about is Eren having his key necklace, and buying you one with a lock on it. Again, matching but not over the top.

Jean

Maybe simple jewelry? Like plain, gold or silver bracelets/rings—nothing too much, but you guys still know it’s there. Watches might be a bigger splurge, but he’s willing to do it, especially if they’re nice and classy.

Once he knows you’re okay with jewelry, you’ve gotta be careful with him. He’ll ice you out if you don’t stop him. He has a sorta refined taste where you’ll get something, and think “Hey, this is really nice,” and then boom, the price tag could pay for your courses for a semester. 

Other little things like matching/coordinating phone cases, you guys each having mugs from the same place, even little charms on your keychains that match together.

Water bottles. This was more so him buying you one (and yes, it was an overpriced Hydroflask) to make sure you’re drinking enough water. If you don’t think he’ll force feed it to you if he notices that your bottle is heavy, then you thought wrong.

Levi

Lots of the things are pretty practical, and are the result of Levi buying it for you because he thought you needed it, or needed a better version of it; so, in a way, it’s not intended to match, but because he buys what he already has and knows works, you end up with a copy, so inadvertent matching 😌

For example, he’ll buy you mittens or gloves if you don’t have any, or if he thinks the ones you have are shit and need better insulation. They happen to be the same ones he has because he knows those work, so now you’re matching. Same goes for things like lunch boxes, water bottles, even the towels in your apartment.

Plants. Again, he probably intervened saying you need some source of fresh air in your house, or something smart like that. If you don’t have a green thumb, don’t worry because he’s practically taking care of it for you. Occasionally he’ll note how your plant is doing in comparison to his and it’s pretty cute to hear his little plant parent rambles while he’s watering them.

Matching aprons. It’s cute, don’t let him tell you otherwise; and if he does, you know he’s fronting, because he always wears his when he’s cooking, anyway.

Connie

Tattoos if you’re down for it. It can be as simple or stupid or extravagant as you want, you honestly have full control over the design even tho it’s going on his body please. He doesn’t care—he trusts you, and he wants to match with you, so whatever you want, wherever you want it!

Sneakers for him too, but I think he’d go as far as to have matching/coordinating outfits with you. Particularly sweats and crew necks and hoodies, and if you guys are traveling together, then you’re more than likely matching at the airport.

He probably put some stupid sticker or decal on your car that you’re stuck with now. Good luck. He put the same shit on his so at least you can look dumb together.

Armin

Stickers, whether it be on your laptop or phone case or water bottle or even just in your room; he’s got one and you’ve got one.

Stuffed animals. He has a lot that he just buys for you, but you guys go on a Build-a-Bear date and make bears of each other at some point, and it’s kinda cute. He keeps his on a shelf close to his bed so it’s safe and sound.

Stationary, like pencil cases and pens and such. They don’t have to be fancy with your initials engraved at the top, but you guys buy them in sets of 2 so you have the same stuff, and get cases to store everything that match, too.

Porco

Something cute that you put in his car that he doesn’t have the heart to remove, no matter how much he bitches about it. Like those little sticky rubber ducks with the glasses that go on your dash.

Gym bags. Yes, he’s a gym bro. No, he doesn’t care if you’re not. Allegedly they were “two for one” at the Adidas outlet, so now you’ve got one. It can double as a duffle bag if you’re not getting any practical gym use of it. 

You could probably get him to wear matching rings as long as they’re not too obvious; just a simple gold band is really the furthest he’ll go (he never takes it off, but don’t point it out or he’ll chuck it at you).

Mikasa

Some kind of accessory—bracelets, hats, necklaces, scarves. She’s into that kinda stuff, just don’t make a big deal of it when you’re in public or she’ll get embarrassed please.

Pins. You’ve got one on your jacket and she’s got one on her book bag or something. Again, they don’t have to be identical; you can get two different Pokémon, or references to a show you both like.

Lipstick. You don’t have to both wear it at the same time, but it’s still something sweet to have.

Sasha

Charm bracelets! The charms themselves don’t all have to be identical (tho at least one of them would be), but just the fact that you guys both have them and are collecting charms at a similar rate is cute.

Definitely matching cups or mugs or something of the like. Kitchen towels with the same pattern or each other’s initials on them. Matching shot glasses, too, obviously. 

Your home/lock screens match, too. Pictures of each other from the same day or of the same scenery or something. She always lets you know when she’s gonna change hers so you can change yours too.

Annie

Hoodies. They can be solid colored, or two if the same ones just in different colors. Hoodies are kind of her go-to look, and nothing that draw too much attention anyways; so she doesn’t mind having the same one as you.

Backpacks. Again, they don’t have to be exactly the same and can be relatively simple in design; and is something most people have anyway, so it’s not outlandish. She seems like a Kanken kinda girl, so you both can have one in different colors.

Pieck

Jewelry. Strikes me as the type to be okay with getting each other’s initials on necklaces or earrings or something, but it could also be more covert like having each other’s birthstones on a pendant.

Speaking of stones, you’re getting crystals whether you like it or not. They will be on your nightstand, they will be in your car, they will be in your jacket pocket, they might even be in your bra and don’t ask her how she got them there without you knowing. They’re in hers too if that makes you feel any better.

Hange

Jackets or sweaters. Wanna say matching cardigans in particular, and yeah, they’re pretty ugly but that’s the point! To bask ironically in the pointed ugliness of them all so much that it becomes cute to you.

Snow globes. Hange is obsessed with them, whenever you travel they collect one and sometimes even if they just pass a store at home and see two unique (translation: weird looking) ones, they’ll pick them up. So, congrats.

Socks with funky patterns on them. Beer bottles, weed plants, zodiac signs, dinosaurs—whatever Hange buys, they buy in packs of two so at least you’ll never run out of ankle socks.

author’s note: My Bakugou angst fic isn’t done yet but I wrote this request on the side. I wanted to have something to publish after not posting any written work for awhile so I did my best to get this out asap. sorry if it seems rushed! (also reposting this because the post stopped showing up in the tags).

There are only a fair bit of things Bakugou loathes more than wasting his valuable time. And that includes wasting that time by getting dragged into public places he has no desire to be, alongside the four most senseless nitwits the boy has ever had the displeasure of befriending.

It feels less like a friend group to him and more of a gathering of idiots as he watches four out of the six huddle around the aisle of vending machines across the mall. Where’s the other one, you might ask? You’re standing right next to him, sipping a bottle of sweet lemon tea dispensed to you from those vending machines.

“Ooh, look at this one!” The other girl in his squad, styling unruly pink hair, pokes a finger toward a blue machine in particular. What she finds interesting about it is that it’s absent of all buttons except a single one above the coin slot.

“Says here that you only have to pay a hundred yen for a mystery item,” Sero reads the instructions printed boldly across the surface, his grin showing his pearly whites. “Can range from food to even toys and cheap plastic jewelry.”

Popping up behind his taller friend, Kaminari squints incredulously at the sign before his eyes brighten like he’s concocted a conspiracy. “No, dude, I’ve heard of these kinds of vending machines before! They want you to think it’s some ordinary convenience vending machine, but these things actually have some super-secret big prize hidden inside!”

“Uh, no, that’s how you get your money robbed from you, Kaminari,” Kirishima tells the blonde, and yet his warnings end up floating from one ear and flying out the other. Kaminari fishes out a small stash of coins taut in between the lint balls of his pockets.

“Yeah yeah, just wait until you eat those words when I come home with a Playstation 5!”

“Why would there be a Playstation 5 of all things in there?” Ashido asks skeptically. She notes the small slot near the bottom, appearing sizable to dispense a large water bottle at most.

“Okay, maybe not an actual PS5, but probably the voucher you take to the game store to retrieve one, of course!” He waves the doubt away as he kneels and begins his succession of slotting coins in the machine until agitation eventually ebbs his features. About five hundred yen down the drain and all he’s amounted with in exchange are two Gudetama keychains, two packets of off-brand oreo cookies, and one can of that cheap instant black coffee he dislikes. Though if it’s one thing, he and the drink have in common it’s that they’re both positively bitter.

Kirishima, Sero, and Ashido all snicker wryly behind him while he deadpans at the snotty series of prizes with the skin between his eyebrows crinkled in defeat. Ashido takes this as the time to move along the row, dragging her sullen blond friend by the elbow. “Moving on! I want to get to the one with the Yakult drinks already!” She points onward and leads her compadres down the treasure trove of intriguing automated food vendors. Two of the boys press forward enthusiastically. Kaminari has to be lugged out of his brooding in order to play along.

“God, please just take me out already,” Bakugou mutters while leering his signature miffed face behind them. According to the giggle he registers chiming to his left, it seems you heard his complaints.

“Hm, not having a good time, I’m guessing?” you ask. The metallic edge of your lemon tea creases into the cushion that is your plush bottom lip. Bakugou finds himself staring there longer than he should and immediately tears his eyes away before he’s caught.

Your playful tone throws him off a beat later than he should’ve taken to reply. “Of course. I didn’t even want to be here to begin with,” he sneers with a brisk click of his tongue, crossing his arms. In a sense, he’s only telling half of the truth.

It’s true Bakugou did not desire to be here on his own accord. The squad dared to call him at the dead of midnight, when he was already tucked into bed by nine o’clock sharp and indulging in a needed rest, only to be ruefully awoken by his phone blaring across the expanse of his dorm room. The four should’ve suffered an earful from him as they tried to arrange a shopping trip of all things at that hour. However, his disinterest in the subject withered at the bait of your name casted into the conversation. Which to them was hook, line, and sinker. The cunning group of friends reeled him in at the idea that his crush would tag along. So, in the end, they got the rowdy blond to yield to the stupid shopping trip.

Though could it count as a shopping trip when four out of the six in their group were so transfixed by the weird vending machines in the place? The same four that organized said gathering to begin with? They’ve yet to cross into a single store here for crying out loud.

“If all you morons are gonna do is waste your damn money on these things, then this is a complete waste of time.” Bakugou doesn’t sugarcoat his irritation in the slightest. You still try to quell the bitterness in his tone with the saccharine that saturates your own.

“Aw c’mon, Bakugou, lighten up,” you tease playfully, pinching a small bit of the fabric on his arm to lightly urge him forward.

“You should at least try and join in on the fun with everyone—” At the turn of your head, your sentence cuts off, astonished to come across an empty space where your quartet of friends should be.

“And they’re already gone…” you say in disbelief. Your finger initially pointed in that direction falls limp. With their speedy curiosity plowing down the line of machines, the four have effectively ditched you two, leaving no trace of where they could’ve taken off for next.

The sigh from your lips lingers in amusement. “Well, guess it’s just you and me, Bakugou.”

When your eyes meet him again, you witness the scowl he glares at the abandoned space in front of the vending machine. The leer is menacing enough that if the contraption were an actual person, they might have rattled in fear, dropping down the snacks and drinks contained inside to sate his anger.

“Um, Bakugou?” you attempt to call out to him, but he’s too fixated by the peeved thoughts strewn in his head to hear you properly.

What the fuck are those dunces thinking? They planned this, didn’t they? God, I’m going to fucking kill them all! He babbles a seething torrent in his mind. Each one is more unrelenting and harsher than the last while a vein blisters prominently on his forehead.

What were the odds that going on a little shopping trip would end up with him left behind with his crush? Well, Bakugou thinks it’s absolutely none, and that this shit had to be preordained. If not, then it was just his bad fucking luck he supposes.

“—llo, earth to Bakugou Katsuki? Please send back a reply when you receive this message.”

At last, your voice surfaces, no longer drowned in Bakugou’s turbulent sea of thoughts as the hand you wave in front of him swims its way to his attention. “Huh?” He shakes his head twice to grip himself back to the matter at hand, observing in time the playful smile that curls mischievously on your lips.

“All back together I see. Good.” You start pulling on his arm and lead him in tandem with your steps. “Now let’s get going!”

Though he quirks up an eyebrow, Bakugou, weirdly enough, does not reject the way you drag him along without waiting for his response. In fact, with the other four gone, he finds it compelling that you’re taking the reins and asks mildly, “What? Are we gonna be doing some actual shopping now?”

His joke earns him your laughter resonating in melodic lilts to his ears before you leave his side to toss your empty bottle into the recycling bin. “Nope, we’re gonna be doing something even more fun, of course!” Then you resume dragging Bakugou down the walkways of the mall.

It’s not long until he questions the consecutive twists and turns he’s forced to take, having only been answered by your pursed grin multiple times.

“Hey, no more questions! Just trust me!” you quip at his refusal to be quiet and just obediently follow. The blonde can’t help it, of course, given the circumstances he’s wound himself in. Not many boys his age can control themselves if the person they like is pulling them along with as much enthusiasm as you are right now. But Bakugou is different from those other simpletons, crafting a mask to cover the elation hidden beneath with usual displeasure. Nothing but his uncharacteristic lack of annoyance and the ample glances in your direction could truly give himself away to his affections for you.

So with that, he places a generous amount of hope that you guide him somewhere more entertaining than that borefest he witnessed from the squad earlier.

But the moment you two reach your destination, he wonders if he may have accidentally misplaced that same hope down a rabbit hole instead.

“What the…” Bakugou’s words drift in the air at the quizzical sight before him. Mouth hanging open, he’s unable to conjure any sensible thoughts in time before you step in front of him.

“Tada! The Capsule Toy Gacha Room!” You spread your hands outward to present him an unhindered view of the room. It’s teeming with small capsule toy machines that line the walls, stacked on top of each other not to waste a single space inside. His red eyes squint at the assortment of bright colors painted on each machine that assaults his vision.

“Why the hell are there so many of these things?” Bakugou asks, jabbing a finger at the machines. You reply as you walk inside, “It’s the Gacha Room, Bakugou. Of course this place is gonna be filled with them.” You impart him an answer he is not at all satisfied with.

“I used to come here all the time when I was a kid! Glad it hasn’t really changed,” you say, noting the only real difference between then and now were the new toys and characters updated with the current trends. He begrudgingly trails behind you into the narrow corridors sandwiched with the machines on each side. The modest little tune you hum between your lips is a stark contrast to his disgruntled huffs accompanying his dragging feet.

Bakugou thinks being here is not any different from what the other four are frolicking about outside. This might be the worse alternative, considering you give money to a machine that grants you an item at complete random. You have no way of knowing what or who you’re going to get until the colorful sphere pops out at the bottom. And then, in an instance, your anticipation fades away when you open it and receive the character no one particularly cares about—the little charm inevitably gathering dust, forgotten in the drawers of your desk. Overall, these toy capsule machines were just gluttons devouring the money of parents whose kids always whine about never getting what they wanted.

Still, because it’s you, he stays and watches you indulge in your little nostalgia trip.

As your eyes glide down the row of toy dispensers, trying your best to decipher the items contained behind the blurry glass, you chime in, “Say, Bakugou, don’t you have any memories of gacha machines?”

Bakugou’s brows furrow in contemplation. He racks through the nooks and crannies between the crevices of his mind and recalls some standout memories. “I guess. Few of ’em were stuck in front of the arcade place near my neighborhood,” he answers, but those memories immediately begin to sour the more he looks into the details.

You don’t see how his face slowly contorts with annoyance while he plays back a scene in his head.

At the time, Bakugou had only sprouted to the young age of five years old. He’s huddled around his posse in front of the arcade he mentioned, slotting a coin inside the capsule machine that was stocked full of charms of Pro Heroes, which housed a very special limited edition prize of All Might to honor their collaboration with the famous Number One of Japan.

The boy was positively giddy at what was to come out, remaining hopeful thanks to the giant poster of All Might gazing down upon him with his triumphant grin. Yet even when his squeaky little voice hollered out a “Plus Ultra!” to reinforce his luck, he was given dirt in response.

But you know who did get that mystery All Might prize?

Deku. Fucking Deku.

Right after he had his spin of the machine, the green-haired boy stepped up, gave it a go, and got All Might on his first fucking try. To say five-year-old Bakugou was bitter would only be putting it mildly. The unbridled emotions bundled in his tiny body were just waiting to burst in an explosion.

But in the end, did he fight Midoriya for it? No, he did not. For if he did, his mother would have scolded the hell out of him, and his young self reflected in the moment that avoiding parental wrath outweighed the limited edition Mystery All Might figure charm, as sad as that sounded. So since then, he’s tried to repress that memory in the far corners of his mind.

But it seems God just desires to spite him.

“Hey, look!” You pull lightly on his shirt to capture his attention, eyes trained forward at whatever piqued your interest. Bakugou peeks over your head, and what he’s met with does not please him.

“They have a gacha machine featuring Pro Heroes here!” you shout cheerfully, walking toward it with the hem of Bakugou’s shirt in hand, who begrudgingly follows along despite a groan nearly leaving his mouth.

“Isn’t this cool?” you ask. You squat down to peer into the peculiar machine located at the very bottom of the stack. Bakugou clicks his tongue as part of his reply, hands buried in the pockets of his trousers.

“No.”

“Hey, one day they’ll be making toys and charms of you as well, Mister ‘I’m Gonna Be The Number One Hero,’” you say with a giggle, and your comment sparks a bit of pink to dust his cheeks while he looks down at you from his standing position.

He attempts to join you and your fixation on the Pro Hero capsule machine. However, when he starts bending his knees, he finds this to be a bit difficult. The more he squats down, the more Bakugou realizes they truly made this place for children and not bulky teenagers like him training in hero school. His knees and bottoms almost brush up against the plastic sheen of the machines on each opposing side.

Though he has to fidget into a particular position to get somewhat comfortable, he eventually gets there and kneels next to you.

“Why don’t we give a go at this thing?” you suggest, and he tilts his head, eyes narrowed.

“No way, these are a fucking waste of money,” he rejects.

“Hey it only costs two hundred yen!” you counter, “And plus, you might get a certain hero you want, like say... All Might?” You attempt to lure him in using his idol’s very name, but Bakugou doesn’t take the bait so easily and remains rigid in his stance.

Even if he did want to try for All Might, he’s sure his capsule is long gone by now anyway.

“Aw c’mon, Bakugou, pleaseee?” you draw out your pleas in a cute little tone that takes the blond by complete surprise. Unaware of how much power you have over him, the doe eyes and pout that paint your features make it difficult for him to maintain his hardened facade. Feeling his walls begin to melt away at the endearing sight, he ultimately grits his teeth, eyes shut as his hands rummage down into his pockets.

“Fine,” he mutters in defeat, and that smile appears on your lips once again as you lift your arms in triumph.

Pulling out two separate hundred yen coins, he promptly slides them both into the coin silt. When he hears them clank against the other change inside, he goes for the handle and gives it a quick turn. One of the capsule balls begins its journey down the machine and quickly arrives at the hatch that Bakugou lifts to retrieve his prize.

Snapping the capsule open, he’s met with Endeavor’s ugly mug, seeming even more unsightly from the low-quality production of the charm. The paint job is beyond sloppy, with the colors on the costume not depicted accurately and the figure’s pupils drawn to make him appear cross-eyed.

“Hm, you got the number one hero,” you tease, lightheartedly nudging your elbow at his sides because you know full well it isn’t the number one hero he wanted. Bakugou ignores your taunts and shoves the flame hero’s plastic face down the depths of his pockets, making sure to give it to Todoroki later just to annoy him.

“Yeah yeah, your turn, princess.” He scooches a bit to his right to let you have your go. You gladly follow, taking out the two hundred yen from your money pouch.

Bakugou remains disinterested throughout the entire process but is still attentive enough to observe how you hum those casual tunes of yours despite doing something so mundane. He also starts absorbing the cute shape of your nose and the outline of your lips from this angle. It isn’t long until he realizes how close you are in this position, to the point where he could practically smell your fragrant scent, and soon that pink hue diffuses on his face again.

Fuck, I need to stop that, he urges.

By the time he turns away, the capsule machine has begun its machinations once again.

The sizable sphere descending the hatch this time has striped patterns of red, yellow, and blue, colors that remind him all too much of a certain Pro Hero— Wait. What the fuck—

“This one looks a bit bigger than the others, don’t you think? Wonder what... Oh, hey, it’s All Might!” You go through the emotions—curiosity, anticipation, and then finally, glee.

Bakugou feels like he’s reliving those horrible memories once again as he beholds the shiny, miniature figure nestling in your palms before you lift it to grant a better view of its glory. It twists around from how you pinch it by the attached string while it’s hovering in the air. When the Pro Hero’s face turns in the blond’s direction, it’s like the inanimate object is somehow taunting him.

Compared to Endeavor’s shitty charm, All Might’s is a proper representation of who he is. The better quality plastic molded accurately into the man’s figure, the crevices between his muscles delved into displaying his well-defined physique. The colors on his costume are all correctly painted in his signature red, white, yellow, and blue. They even got the broad grin and shadowy features on his face to the tee.

Whichever company created this toy indeed did All Might justice because it looks exactly like the one Midoriya unsealed right in front of his envious five-year-old eyes.

Bakugou’s body shakes with suppressed anger. His hands clench and then unclench themselves while in conflict with his thoughts. Then, he suddenly moves toward you, darting for the charm that you narrowly pull out from his grapples in time.

“L-Lemme see!” he demands, shifting his hand around to grab hold of it for some reason. The act has you befuddled while you continue to move the toy away to evade capture.

“Huh? Why?”

“I need... to fucking make sure— OOF—”

His sputters are the last things that escape his lips before he staggers off balance due to all those hasty movements. It sends his body toppling over yours onto the floor, where your head would’ve thumped against the hard ground had the boy’s well-trained instincts not maneuvered a hand beneath it in time to cushion your fall.

Your descent to the floor is not at all graceful, wincing slightly at the impact. It’s when the pain ebbs away that you and Bakugou finally realize the very awkward position you’re suddenly both in.

Bakugou is hovering over you, body between your legs as one of his hands is cradling your head. The other is situated next to your face against the ground to keep himself upright, letting his eyes stare down at your stricken expression.

Unknowingly, you had settled your hand on Bakugou’s shoulder out of impulse during fall. The other one is still grasping the All Might figure, which is unharmed despite the abrupt movements.

Bakugou can feel your even breaths caress his lips from how close in proximity both of your faces are in this position. If any of you so much as move the wrong way, your lips would undoubtedly collide into each other. Though Bakugou doesn’t mind the notion, he isn’t going to instigate it if you aren’t willing. But the way your eyes line toward his lips, giving him a similar enamored look to the one he has right now, it seems both of you are on the same page.

Taking your mutual fixations as the sign to continue, Bakugou draws himself forward to close the distance while you rise to meet him in the middle.

And finally, he gets to kiss those lips of yours. The lips that adorn your cute face he always snuck glances at. The lips so unhinged in their playful teasing toward him. The lips he’s been so mesmerized and bewitched by throughout this chaotic excuse of a shopping trip.

And when they meet, they’re as full and soft as he imagined them to be, melding perfectly against his.

The hand he’s nestled under your head allows him to press you further into the liplock. You’re nearly enveloped in his wistful machinations, wanting to drown in the sea of his affections as your arms find their way around him.

You would’ve allowed yourself to do so, if not for the unfortunate security camera you catch in the corner of your eye from where you laid.

Your eyes widen, staggering out of their half-liddedness. You pat your hand in rapid succession against his shoulder, getting the blond to stir and separate from the kiss—an act he detests as he doesn’t want the embrace to end.

“What?” he gruffs. You point up at the ceiling, and he turns in that direction. When he detects the security camera about to automatically shift toward this particular side of the Capsule Toy Gacha Room, his face grows full of panic. He lifts himself off your body immediately.

With the two of you remembering where you are, you rose from the ground and cleaned yourselves up. You try to appear pristine as possible, without letting any suspicion about what has happened get tossed in your direction. Still, the red faces plastering both of your features are already a dead giveaway.

“I… Uh…” Bakugou’s still lost in the haze of the heated moment, unsure of what words he should utter. Much to his relief, his burden lifts when two notifications from your phones ring in sync together, diverting your attention.

When you open your phone and slide across the notice, a text message from the Bakusquad ascends onto the screen.

Mina: heyyyy just finished going through all these vending machines! you wont believe how much money we spent!!

The message follows a selfie of the four holding a myriad of drinks and snacks together in the picture. You can’t suppress your giggle at the endearing sight. Another chime sounds when a new text pops up at the bottom.

Eijirou: let’s all meet up again at that blue mystery vending machine!

“Well, you heard them,” you say while clicking off your phone, “we better get a move on.”

Bakugou relays your words back in a slow nod, following through with a rough “yeah” that cleaves his throat. The two of you walk alongside each other once again while you leave the Capsule Toy Gacha Room. Only your steps padding against the mall’s confounds accompany the quiet atmosphere established between you two—awkward and a bit unnerving.

It’s when you’ve both made it to the meet-up spot in front of the blue vending machine that you alleviate yourselves of the strained tension.

“Soooo… was there any reason you wanted to get your hand on this thing so badly?” you question, drawing out the All Might charm that led those heated events to transpire. It dangles between your fingertips and glances at Bakugou along every rotation. The blonde bounces his eyes between you, All Might, and the ground, unsure if he should admit that he was acting out of childish jealousy and bitterness.

“I… Urgh… Fuck…”

You raise an eyebrow when he fumbles with his words. He mutters blatant obscenities between every possible resolve that crosses his mind.

“Look, forget it. It’s not important,” Bakugou concludes, but you think differently, not satisfied with his answer.

“No. Tell me.”

With that weight in your tone, Bakugou realizes he can’t avoid the subject any longer. He releases a long sigh as he leads you through the infamous tale, observing how your expression grows from concerned to downright amused.

“Really? You’ve held a grudge for that long?” The laughter you initially attempt to suppress ends up bubbling from your throat. Hearing it spurs Bakugou to clutch his hands together into shaky fists.

“Look. If you know me, then you should remember I never want to lose to fucking Deku. The fact he got the All Might charm right after I got garbage fucking pissed me off!” he exclaims loud enough for his harsh words to reach a couple walking by. They spare worried glances at the blonde when they stroll past him.

“Hmm…” you muse in thought. Bakugou can tell by the glint rising in your eyes and your tone that you’re up to something again. “I can give you mine if you want. But only for a very small price.”

He quirks an eyebrow, crossing his arms over his chest. “And what would that fucking price be?”

The smirk prominent on your pretty lips widens while you teeter your weight to your tippy-toes in front of him.

“A date. Just a single date will suffice,” you tell him, and Bakugou’s caught off guard by how simple the offer is. His delayed response has you leaning forward, appraising him for an answer.

“Well..?” You wave the charm before his eyes by the thin string as if to hypnotize him. But in all honesty, Bakugou knows that sweet smile of yours and luster in your eyes is all you need to have him wrapped around your finger.

His playful smirk surfaces his lips. He provides his answer by snatching the figure right from your dainty fingertips.

“You got yourself a deal, princess.”

You happily clap your hands together. “It’s settled then! We’ll have a date here at the mall next week!”

“Hah?! Why the fucking mall again?!”

“Because we didn’t do much here anyway, so I say we should give it another shot together next week!”

“What? And go shopping? I don’t wanna be your bellboy the entire time—”

“Mom! Mom! Look at that boy’s All Might toy!”

You and Bakugou are both surprised by the new, high-pitched voice that enters in the middle of your riffraff. Your eyes trail along to sound and come face-to-face with a young boy staring at the toy in Bakugou’s hand.

“I want one too!”

Unable to control his gloating, Bakugou dangles the charm next to his face.

“Yeah well, too bad, kid. It’s mine so f—”

“Bakugou,” you warn. You halt the obscene words from entering the boy’s ears and avoid giving his mom a hard time.

“Argh… I mean... scram!”

You almost smack yourself. You can’t believe Bakugou has the guile to argue with a child at this age.

Though he forgoes the curses, that doesn’t make Bakugou’s words sound any less harsh. As a result, the kid pouts. He pouts hard. His eyes start to become glassy, lining the edge of his lashes with droplets. Recognizing her child on the verge of breaking out into tears, the mom acts quickly. She’s by his side, patting his back.

“Sweetie, why don’t you go to that blue vending machine over there and see if you can get a toy too,” she cheers him up instantly, dropping a hundred yen coin down her son’s small palm.

“Okay, mom!” he responds, gleeful again.

He dawdles over to the machine with purpose in his steps, inserting the coin, and pressing the lone button on the mystery vending machine.

You and Bakugou don’t perceive any noise emitting from the machine, and yet the little boy is putting his hands into the slot to pull something out.

“Mom, why did the machine give me a paper that says PS5?”

Both of you go rigid. Kaminari is not going to be happy hearing about this.

under the cut because i expect it’ll get very long <3 :) update after i finished writing: it is, in fact, very long and also took me over an hour. so. take that as whatever sort of warning you might want.

let’s start with margot !

she was born to a couple of really young parents who..... did not want to be parents. at all. they were still in the party-and-get-drunk phase of their life and didn’t want to have a kid to worry about, so a large part of her childhood was spent couch surfing between relatives, mostly her grandfather.

they were really close! he would help her with her homework, they would cook together, he would let her drink underage so that she was well-versed in beer by the time she was like. idk. 16 lol. but she felt closer to him than her own parents, who were good when they were around but. they mostly weren’t around <3

when she was 19, her grandpa starting showing pretty serious signs of memory loss and whatnot and eventually had to be moved into a home. she was living with him by that point, so she had to continue to spend a year or so of her adult life couchsurfing. it didn’t help that she was in school full-time to get an engineering degree of. some kind. i think mechanical engineering. idk. and didn’t have a job, so to pay back her roommates she took up a majority of the housework as well as picked up odd jobs on the weekend. her grandpa’s health continued to decline through this time so she didn’t actually mind being busy because then she. didn’t have to think about it at all <3

and then.............. when she was 20......... her boyfriend of a year  suggested that she not only move in with him but that they get married and margot, who has never had stability ever in her life, jumped at the opportunity !

after she graduated, she found it incredibly hard to find a career (even though they were in the same program and He had no trouble finding one), so she was back to not working but her husband didn’t mind and he supported her whole-heartedly. during this time she started running and then eventually started going to a gym with a couple of her female friends from their neighbourhood! she would also spend a lot of time at her grandpa’s but his health was still rapidly declining. eventually her now-husband said that she should probably stop visiting him and margot was like “.... ok i guess”

And then. :)

she kept spending time outside of the house and started taking self-defense classes with a few of her friends and her husband was started to get very antsy. he wanted her to be at home, told her that he didn’t like her going out at night or, eventually, at all, and would find ways to keep her home every night so she didn’t go out. during this time he also started getting. um. very manipulative. he was easily triggered into starting arguments. so she increased the frequency of her self-defense classes and, eventually, they became Very Useful in an argument with her husband. so. we hate him :)

after that she filed for a divorce, moved away and changed her name to her late grandmother’s last name. she started working at a gym in her new town and eventually decided to open her own ! she had gotten the building about 2-3 weeks before the outbreak hit and didn’t have any furniture or equipment of any kind, so she met up with 2 middle-aged women from her old gym and they travelled together until one of them was bitten in a fight with walkers and dragged into a big crowd of them to be eaten and the other one was bitten and margot had to shoot her when she got zombified and tried to attack. :(

that’s where i have left off for now but i am going to develop her More the more i watch the show !!!

okay. backstory over. now for the fun bits:

her faceclaim is mackenzie davis specifically in terminator (without the. lines on her arms and whatever idk what those are) and this picture is the most margot-vibe imaginable.

the haircut was an incredibly recent choice but it came in handy during the outbreak because she didn’t have to worry about keeping hair out of her face. girlboss !

she is 6′2 :) her and her husband were funnily enough the 2 tallest people in her graduating class

she spoke occasionally to her parents after graduating and moving away but they fell out of touch a year or so before the outbreak began and she......................... unsurprisingly doesn’t miss them at all

she has 1 keepsake and it’s an old keychain of her grandpa’s and if anything happens to it. she will kill everyone in any room and Then herself !!!

she likes to where tank tops to show off her big arms. is this very ergonomical in the apocalypse where zombie bites can kill you instantly ? nope! will she do it anyway to intimidate people ? yup!

she Cannot cook. at all. she lived off of take-out and microwavable meals for the first 20 years of her life and then she always had someone else making food for her until she moved away on her own when it was back to takeout.

on the topic of food :) her fave foods are mac and cheese with breadcrumbs and meatlover’s pizza !

she will do literally anything for a good beer. anything. she keeps an eye out for them every time she goes scavenging in buildings and will try to get at least 1 bottle per trip. girlboss !

she cannot sing. in fact she’s not just average, she’s Terrible. she can, however, play mad guitar because her grandpa taught her.

now onto miss lila :)

she was born in a town a couple over from rick’s and was the younger sister of 2 ! she had a really great family and a very very happy childhood :) her dad was a wildlife rehabilitator and her mom was a landscaper who took a lot of pride in their nice big backyard and garden and Land where they. you know. rehabiliated the wildlife and what not

she worked a lot with her dad and mom at their wildlife centre and also helped her mom garden a lot (their house was on the same property as the centre so it was a nice big plot of land). she took a lot of interest in rehabilitating animals and it sparked a very early childhood interest in Caring for things (namely little wild critters) which extended to her helping out little kids on the playground when they got scraped knees and things. she always had a package of bandaids in her backpack from second grade on. an angel <3

in her final year of high school she had a very quick fling with a boy from her high school that ended… poorly. and then she got pregnant! which she. Did not expect. nor want. nor need in her life because she was planning on moving to atlanta to go to medical school and kickstart her career. her sister, who had recently dropped out of school and lost her job, decided to Take One for the team and claim the baby as hers so lila could go to medical school and stuff. their parents promised to take good care of her and they all made a plan to hide lila’s pregnancy from their town (although i’m sure literally everyone knows anyway) and then she moved away in the summer after giving birth to go to school

she quickly finished up her nursing program but was out of job for a few years until she got a job offer to be the nurse at king county elementary school aka the school were one Carl Grimes goes to school. she moved there in may and one night, when her car Squealed to a stop in front of a dog who had run away from his home and was being chased by. Um. a certain sheriff’s deputy who was intending on bringing the puppy back home <3 they got to talking and. Well. the rest is history…..

she was a very beloved member of the staff and kids would often fake sick just to come to her office and get a sucker and she grew esp close to the grimes family :D after a couple of years living in king county she got a job to start working at some fancy prep school in atlanta and decided that actually she might want to. You know. start being a mom now that she was finished with school and had a career. so she moved away from king county at the end of the next school year and was unfortunately in atlanta when it was bombed by the government at the start of the outbreak so she and her daughter and sister all died :) and that’s that !

some fun facts because that was a very depressing end to her story:

she always has suckers in her office at school and her favourites are the watermelon ones.

she can often be found gardening in her backyard or watching the birds in the trees like a little nature baby !!!

she is very meticulous about planning. she Does have a daily agenda. she Will kill you if you touch it. shane likes to leave her little notes in it for her to find when she’s at school. sometimes they are not Just cute. she usually erases those.

she likes collecting ugly thrift store paintings of animals and hangs them up in her dining room and she Does think they are incredibly funny.

she is a vegetarian !!! very unwavering about it. shane finds it annoying because he’s good at cooking steak but she just has a salad and then they’re both perfectly happy <3

sends basically everyone she knows a Christmas/holiday card every year. even the teachers at the elementary school who don’t like her and or barely talk to her !!!

she is a terrible maker of tea and usually forgets about cups before she’s even halfway through them (thank god for her). makes everyone tea when they come over except shane (stupid ass) because he doesn’t like it and usually people just politely swallow it even though it’s too steeped or. sorry idk how tea works. she just Makes It Bad ok

she perpetually forgets to do laundry. Most of her non-scrubs have dirt stains or dressing stains or whatnot (except for her Really nice clothes) which is why she tries to buy a lot of patterns. makes things easier to hide <3

I’m an ‘03 liner that’s 5’9.5 (basically 5’10) with dark skin, jet black hair (currently in long twists rn!!), and i’m on the curvier side (esp hips and my thighs) !! some of my favorite features are my plump lips (and i have a beauty mark near the inside of my bottom lip!), my long legs (they’re 40.5 inches long and look so good in dresses and skirts <33), my kempt and pretty fingernails, and my eyelashes !!! i’m a virgo (and surprisingly i get along with all the signs, i cant think of a sole zodiac sign i DONT mix well with but i love cancers and virgos <33) ! i’m also an ambivert all the way! i often come off as cold/shy/quiet when meeting new people (one of my closest friends avoided me for a month before meeting me because i looked so intimidating LMAO), but once you get close to me i turn into a goofy (heavy on the goofy im never not laughing) bundle of warmth and love: i will never stop texting them the <3 emoji every morning or buying my friends/s/o their favorite starbucks order when they need a little cheer-me-up. also, lots of people say i’m mature and carry myself well, but around my friends i’m one of the most goofiest people ever (probably bc my face will literally be 😐 one sec and then 🥰 the next second when someone makes me laugh <3)

Okay, when you were describing all of the things that you would want in the relationship, I thought of San due to how clingy and affectionate he is with the other members of ATEEZ. He is a Cancer, which is good because that is one of the star signs that are compatible with yours. I don't believe that the age difference of four years would be that much of an issue, especially since San acts younger than he is most of the time anyway. I feel like most men are intimidated when their female significant other is tall themselves, but he is tall himself and I feel like the fact that you are taller is kind of one of his favorite things about you? One of his other favorite things about you are your curves, he always puts his hand on your thighs during movie night at the boys' dorm or in the back pocket of your jeans when you two are walking into KQ Entertainment together. When you wear dresses when all of you go out to fancy dinners together, he has to hold himself back because he ADORES you when you wear dresses! You said you're am ambivert, I feel like he relates to that in some form of way, like I feel like there are certain situations where he feels a bit more introverted about. Sometimes Hongjoong has to scold him because he texts you so much, but he can't stay mad at you when you pop into the building with their favorite Starbucks drinks and hand-made lunch boxes for them. Just as you always support his creative endeavors, he always returns it for you tenfold and when you are talking about issues you care deeply about, he gives you his full attention and stares at you lovingly. Not just San, but all of the boys, come to you whenever they are dealing with stress and they just want someone to talk to because you are so amazing at giving advice and supporting them. There was a time when a sasaeng approached you, San, Wooyoung and Jongho when you were doing some late night grocery shopping when another ATINY stopped her, causing an argument and nasty words to be exchanged. Let's just say, you shut that sasaeng down REAL quick when you heard some of the things she said. One day you woke up and found a present that San made for you, a mixtape of all of your favorite songs from all your favorite genres of music, along with a little keychain that had tokens of all of the states you had visited. He wholeheartedly loves you and he makes every effort to support all of your dreams. When he has days off from work, the two of you make a blanket fort in your living room and watch old episodes of Forensic Files and Law & Order: SVU, whilst surrounded by fluffy blankets and a couple of his favorite plushies. His life an idol doesn't afford him much down time, unfortunately, but he always makes time for you and you always have the craziest adventures with not only each other, but all of the other boys as well. Squishy San will want all of the cuddles, have you SEEN how affectionate he is with the other members?! Also, him in all black outfits.... YES, PLEASE AND THANK YOU. One day he was visiting your apartment and he surprised you with matching beaded pearl bracelets and he never takes it off, not even for performances. The boys don't really think nothing of walking into the bathroom to brush their teeth whilst one of the others is showering, that just comes with their busy schedules and their dorm life. Let's just say this: Mingi wasn't able to look you in the eyes for two weeks because he did just that, not realize that you had snuck in and stayed the night, and were currently going to the bathroom whilst San was in the shower. Your camera roll is not only filled with silly pictures of San that you've captured, but of the most magazine worthy, model pictures you have ever been lucky enough to take. He accepts you for all of your flaws, and helps you to try to work on them, however that may be and you do the same for him.

Another tall boy for you, I got you! You both are Virgos, but I looked it up worried that two Virgos would clash, and it said that they would be very intuitive with each other and would understand each other! The age gap is quite large, I don't know how okay you are with that? I know everyone has different preferences. He approached you first when he saw you at the mom & pop coffee shop/cafe around the corner from your apartment, and he thought you were the most beautiful person he had ever seen. CONFUSION?) on their tour around Europe and you had so many memories. You actually brought along a Polaroid camera that you found in a little store one day when the two of you were shopping, and you ended up having to buy an extra suitcase on the trip because you took LITERAL hundreds of pictures of all of your adventures and the tour shenanigans. He has childish tendencies, I feel like he would love to play Roblox with you? I feel like he would take a very mathematical approach to building things, that's just the vibe I get from him. He often stares at you when you're doing your makeup in the morning, he finds it fascinating and he even asked you to do his makeup for some of his shows. His makeup artists weren't angry, luckily, all of their staffs absolutely adore you two together. He is all up for adventures, I feel like he would chicken out at the idea of skydiving, though lol. You keep stealing his sweaters, which he low-key highkey is SO happy about because he loves the way that you look in them. The size difference is only three or four inches (I've seen people say he's 6 feet, but then others say he's 6 foot 2, WHICH IS IT?!), so it's pretty easy to sneak kisses from him whenever you want them when you're together. If he sees you struggling to stay awake whilst studying, he'll softly close your book and drag you over to your bed for a couple hours so you can take a quick nap to regain the energy. I don't really know his temperament that well, he has to be rather even-tempered to deal with those hooligans he calls the rest of BTS, so I feel like you wouldn't have that many fights. You both are always striving to help each other to be the best versions of each other you can be. You joined the boys on vacation at a lake house and one night you were having dinner and he blushed after you said something cheeky to him, causing you to say to him, "You look like a cute tomato when you blush, my cutie pie." in front of the other members. Needless to say, he turned even more red and the boys teased him mercilessly for the rest of the night. Don't know how the cooking would go (this boy is a DISASTER in the kitchen), but you would have fun learning new dishes. He would brag about getting a dish right, and you quickly praise him but also say, " and that's why you a big ass head.", causing him to die laughing. He is the very definition of a hard worker, and I feel like he would love being praised and doing the same for his significant other, so I'm glad that you said that you liked the words of affirmation love language, because GET READY. He's definitely been buffing up (I SCREAM WHENEVER I SEE PICTURES OF HIM NOWADAYS), so

his hugs would always be the best things, so warm and comforting. Don't know how you feel about children? “Yes... yes, we’ll be able to deliver on Friday. So which flowers did you want?” You did your best to keep your tone as polite as possible and listened to the muffled voice list the various flowers they wanted. When you initially picked up the phone, you expected that it would be an easy task to complete — handling calls were a frequent part of your job. The customers usually knew what they wanted and for the most part, were pleasant to work with. However, for some reason, this specific customer was prepared to chew you out before you could even say hello. Six minutes and about a million skeptical questions and insults later, you were finally able to get to the actual ordering part of the process. But that didn’t stop the pounding in your head as you filled out the order sheet.

Pink Roses... Baby’s Breath... Snap Dragons — your heart froze for a moment. 

We’re out of snap dragons, aren’t we. 

You shuffled through some papers to confirm your suspicions and yep, the next order wasn’t due until two weeks from now. Already anticipating the grouchy response you were about to receive, you braced yourself before daring to speak into the receiver again.

“I’m really sorry, but we seem to be out of snap dragons at the moment and the next order won’t come in time for Friday...”

You expected some shouting, or even some cursing, but instead you received the most passive-aggressive tone you’ve ever heard, as they asked you to clarify what you meant. And honestly, that was probably worse than how the shouting would’ve been.

“We do have larkspurs though,” You offered desperately. As much as you wanted to hang up on them right then and there, you couldn’t afford to lose the order, or even worse, a customer. “They’re really similar to snap dragons and they’re just as beautiful, I can promise you that.”

While you tried your best to convince the customer to go with the alternate flowers, a hand tapping on the table you were leaning on caught your attention.

“Excuse me! Can I have some help choosing some flowers?” You looked up from the papers to glance at the old man requesting for you assistance and quickly assured him that you’ll get to that once you were finished with the call. He let out a quiet huff, but said nothing and walked off to wait at the bouquets. As your eyes followed his retreating figure, the splitting headache only got worse when you thought of all the requests and tasks you had to complete. It was just one of those days, every single thing just had to go wrong and you dreaded every passing minute. Being the only person manning the store that day also didn’t help at all.

After a few more minutes of trying to negotiate with the upset customer, you managed to finally convince them to agree with your offer (thankfully) and did you best to shake off all the negative feelings holding you down before approaching the old man. You were grateful that he was at least reasonable to work with, along with the other customers that came your way, and filling out their requests were a breeze. But before you even had the chance let out a sigh of relief, a loud CRASH — unmistakably the sound of a vase falling to the ground —  made you flinch, and your shoulders slumped once again.

You followed the sound of a child crying to see a little girl in the middle of a heap of dirt, obviously devastated over the fact that she was the cause of the accident. Her mother, recognizing her daughter’s voice, quickly appeared at the scene, concern written all over her face. But the moment she understood the situation, she immediately grabbed her daughter’s hand and ran off, exiting the store in a flash. You stood in your place in complete shock, not fully registering what just happened in front of you. The abandoned flowers that were once in the mother’s hands slowly rolled off the table she dropped them on, quietly adding even more to the mess. You turned to the other customers who simply stared back and you let out yet another sigh, finally accepting the fact that you were ultimately responsible for dealing with the mess on your own. 

As you went to grab the dustpan from the back, you silently cursed your coworker for backing out on their shift on the one day you could’ve used some help with. Typically, the store was quite peaceful and you could easily manage a shift all on your own, but now that Valentine’s day was around the corner, you were bombarded with work left and right.

The store stirred back to life once you came back out and began collecting the shards of the broken vase, people muttering to each other and feebly shuffling away to distract themselves with other things. The line at the register had also practically doubled in size since the last time you were able to get behind the counter and your stomach filled itself with stress at the sight of it. There was no way you could handle this on your own.

Stupid kid, stupid snap dragons, stupid vase, stupid line... you thought bitterly as you swept the scattered dirt into a pile to take care of later.

“Do you need some help?”

Out of habit, you almost replied with an “I’ll be with you in a minute!”, but you looked up in surprise when you realized that the voice was actually offering you help. A boy smiled at you and held his hands out to grab the broom and dustpan, but you refused, backing away slightly.

“Oh, no it’s okay, don’t worry about it. I was just planning on getting rid of the dangerous stuff first and deal with the rest later.”

He simply took another step closer to you. “I insist, really, you seem like you could use some help right now.”

You hesitated for a moment, eyes wavering between the kind stranger and the line at the register, which was becoming more and more irritated every time you looked their way. Perhaps just once, you could accept someone else’s help? As long as he swept the dirt and only did that, then you wouldn’t feel to guilty about it. Giving him a small nod, you held out the tools and hastily relayed a few instructions before rushing back to the cash. You swiftly worked through each customer, trying to reduce the amount of time you kept him working. Once in a while you would sneak a peak at him to see how he’s doing and he seemed perfectly content, scooping up the dirt and then leaving it in the old bucket just like how you told him to. He even put the deserted flowers back to their original place on the shelves without you telling him to, and your heart melted at that. You know that it was a fairly simple task to do, but you still felt bad about having to rely on a stranger to help you manage your own job. By the time you finished handling the overwhelming number of requests thrown at you, it was only you and they boy left in the store.

When you approached him, he tucked the phone he was playing with into his bag and started to tell you about how he completed the task just like how you told him to. You cut him off with a multitude of thanks, which he laughed off.

“Don’t have to worry about it, I wanted to help.”

“And I appreciate it a lot, but I still feel bad... is there anything I can treat you with?” You insisted, “If you’re here for some flowers I can give you some sort of discount.”

He looked around thoughtfully and placed his hand on a small bouquet of daises. “I was actually thinking about getting these ones, what do you think?”

“Daises are certainly a popular flower, but what exactly is the occasion?” You asked. “I think I need to know that before I can help you.”

“Why,” he gestured to his outfit, which consisted of a long coat covering a plain white tee tucked into his sunflower-printed pants. You also took note of the small flower accessories that he had decorated all over, from the flower hanging from his bag to the ones dangling from his ears. “It’s for my outfits of course! I thought that having some real flowers would make it look even better. If not, I guess they could always decorate my room.”

“Hmm... is that so? Then I think daisies would be a really good option, they seem to suit you. I would say sunflowers too, though they’re a little too big to use as accessories.” You both laughed when you pointed out the large sunflowers nearby. “Your pants are cute though.”

“Thank you,” The boy glanced down at your name tag before gazing into your eyes once again. “Y/n.”

“You’re welcome.” You nodded and paused for a moment before continuing. “May I know your name as well? I can’t say I’ve seen you around here before.”

“Yeah! My name is Hyunggu, I just found about the shop a few days ago and I thought I’d check it out.” He replied, following you to the counter.

“Well it’s always nice to have another customer.” You replied as you scanned the small bouquet and handed it to him. “Here, just take it, it’s on me. I know I’ve already said it a million times, but thanks for all the help back there. It means a lot to finally have something good happen to me on such a bad day.”

He smiled back at you, “It was no problem at all, and I’ll be back again for sure, someday — so I hope to see you soon!”

“I’m here for most days, so yes, I’ll look forward to seeing you again, Hyunggu.”

You waved each other goodbye and he left, the door making its usual chime whenever it opened. The store was at last, empty, and you could finally take a breather and wrap your head around the events of the day. Checking the clock, you were also happy to see that you had just enough time to sneak in a quick lunch before the next wave of customers was bound to come.

But first things first, you had to go deal with the bucket filled with the vase fragments and soil that Hyunggu taken care of. When you hefted it up with its rusty handle, you heard something soft fall to the ground and looked curiously at the small flower keychain that landed near your feet.

Wait a minute... isn’t that Hyunggu’s? It looks like the one he had hanging from his bag. You thought to yourself.

You picked it up from the ground and upon closer inspection, gathered that it was in fact, his keychain, and you giggled when you realized that the flower was a daisy, just like the ones he bought.

This guy... what’s up with him and flowers? He must really like them.

Not knowing how you could possibly get in touch with him anytime soon, you decided to keep it with you until you saw him again, and continued cleaning up the mess, feeling much happier than you were before. You didn’t know what it was about him, but the thought of how kind he was gave you enough energy to get through the rest of the day. You gently washed the keychain to get rid of the dirt that caught onto the fabric and then hung it on the corkboard behind the register. The small flower fit right into the theme of the board, as if it was designed for it, which made you smile. Giving yourself a small nod of approval, you carried on with the last few tasks you had to finish before lunch, all while humming some of your favourite tunes to yourself.

Despite everything that happened, today was a good day.

I’m dummy weak thinking about a bunch of 1500s warlords finding out in the future that people write headcanons/fanfics/fanart of them dream about fictional dudes. I’m people 😂. Also put what genre/type of anime they’d be into if they were able to be introduced to anime and manga.

Kenshin: Probably thought that Sasuke and MC were siblings because of her using similar weird words and fangirling during the weirdest times. Sasuke would explain to him how from their time that stories and tales were widespread and had vivid illustrations that people would gather around and develop a fanbase. Would be very confused to see keychains and anime merch from MC’s bag from the future. When he asked why there were decorations of 2D men, MC excitedly explained how they were all “best boys” and tell their stories and tales, meanwhile Kenshin was glaring daggers at these fictional men that pose a threat. “Kenshin your yandere side is showing. You are the bestest boy and you’re the only one I want to wifey up.” He’ll have to ask Sasuke what half of that sentence meant, but he was pleased that he was the 3D man that she chose. If MC could bring back some manga/anime for Kenshin, he’d be in love with any war/gore and action based ones. Not necessarily for characters but how cool the action and fight scenes are and wants to try them out with Sasuke (run Sasuke).

Ieyasu: Was very confused when they first met and MC was very eager and pushy to get to know him better. “Why are you following me, you weakling?” “I know you’re a tsundere. You’re hard on the outside but gooey on the inside. I’ve played so many routes with tsunderes that I shall uncover you in no time. Just like the simulations!” *cue Ieyasu thinking MC is absolutely insane and going the complete opposite direction*. Eventually MC grew on him and he did end up softening up and falling in love (JUST LIKE THE SIMULATIONS! SCORE FOR MC). Would find a lot of the terminology MC uses weird but still made him want to learn what it meant.  Did not know what “I ship it” meant when MC chuckled that when he started complaining about Mitsunari, but rest assured will gag when he finds out. Startles MC when they’re laying in bed and he says “I.. ship us.” awkwardly trying to use her weeb terminology, earning a kiss for this cute tsundere 😉. If MC could bring back some manga/anime, he’d be very intrigued with complex characters and plots that have both dark and light elements and have an overall empowering message. Relates to characters that have a tragic backstory but endure and grow stronger and roots for them in the end. (Might imagine MC as the love interest but don’t tell MC that)

Hideyoshi: Now the first thing coming out of MC’s mouth when he decided to trust her and smile at MC while offering to be friends and help carry the vase she was carrying was “A-am I witnessing gap moe in real life?” with a look of utter awe. This confused the heck out of him, “M-my name’s Hideyoshi. Who’s Gap-Moe?” Eventually would get used to the random terminology, although very confused. When he saw the anime themed keychains and wallet in MC’s purse and asked about it, he should’ve prepared tea because that was a looong lecture that he understood nothing of but found it adorable how excited MC was talking about it. “Wait so what are fangirls?” “You know those girls in town that rush to you and gush over you? Those are fangirls. My fangirl group just goes after fictional guys.”, making him confused even more while also lowkey wishing MC was his fangirl and wondering if he is a fanboy for MC (spoiler alert: he IS. And he’s a fanboy for Nobunga). Made him realize how much MC made his kokoro go doki doki (this is the most otaku trash phrase I’ve ever said). If MC could bring manga/anime, he’d love anime where good trumps evil and heroes defeat villains because he loves imagining defeating injustice and having a happy ending for Japan while defeating the cruel enemies and rivals around Nobunga. Also loves emotional/heart wrenching love story manga and anime that make you cry and get hit hard in the feels with the characters b/c he’s such a romantic with a big heart. Would hug the hell out of MC after finishing of any of those types of series while saying that he will always love her‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )‧º·˚

Bonuses b/c I thought they’d be fun:

Shingen: Literally finds anything about MC fascinating, and the fact that they’re passionate about fictional stories and are so emotionally touched by them made him love that MC had a big heart, even for fictional characters. Gets a lil jealous when MC starts fawning over specific fictional dudes. When MC and Shingen are a couple and she starts talking about one of her fictional baes he’d probably literally sweep her off her feet and say something cheesy like “But can he do this” and swoop in for dat kiss. Would probably find his own meaning in the terminology and use it. “This is my waifu, my goddess, I am her biggest fanboy.” is how he’d probably introduce MC as (swoon). If MC could bring manga/anime, he’d be a hardcore sucker for romance anime and would reenact many of the romantic scenes, even the confession scenes. “Shingen we’re married. This is the 45th time you’ve confessed to me.” “But not like from this anime (´•ω•̥`). Would also like detective/mystery series bc he likes unraveling mysteries and plays behind the scenes.

Yukimura: “Not another Sasuke-speaker.” Would be hanging out with MC and Sasuke and listening to the weird terminologies. Would also probably make fun of MC at first for her fantasizing about fictional men and having merch of them saying “Is that cuz you can’t get a real life man?” (cue the heated arguing). Would eventually be intrigued by some of the story plots MC tells him and would eventually fall for her nerdiness and everything. Would ask Sasuke for help on coming up how to confess to MC like in the anime and otome games she talks about (A for effort, my boy). Would be a blushy puddle but puff his chest out if MC fangirled over him. If MC could bring anime and manga, he’d freaking LOVE superhero anime bc he just wants to save everyone and do whats right and he just looks like the type of dude that loves superheroes and superpowers and gets pumped when the hero defeats the bad guy.

Mitsuhide: Would be curious about these strange, foreign words MC says, even though its just fangirl lingo from 500 years in the future. Would probably tease MC if they had any keychains or small merch of anime characters. “Why have a pocket-sized man to love if there’s a full sized one right here.” 😉. Would find it very creative that there’s so many diverse stories and characters. Loves when MC gets excited talking about story plots, gets a lil jealous and tries steering the topic away from thirsting over the dudes. Would probably confess his feelings by saying “Is there a real life story about a kitsune falling for a foolish mouse and they become lovers for eternity?” “Not that I know of.” “Want to make that story happen?”. Would love speaking modern slang and otaku terms with MC because its like their own little love language and it also pisses Hideyoshi off since he doesn’t understand wtf they’re saying. If MC brought manga/anime, would love psychological based horror, seeing how characters react to scary situations and what’s the mental breaking point to madness, or plots with mind games and outwitting opponents bc he’s all about that big brain and likes seeing characters creatively outsmart enemies. Likes characters that are morally gray/antihero that do good but do so in unorthodox ways bc he relates to them (and is secretly smug if MC says they need more love bc it feels like she’s saying that about him too). Likes stories w/ bittersweet endings because he likes seeing the beauty in things while acknowledging the harshness and cruelty of life as well.

Personality: the first thing people notice about me is that I am less of a feeler and more of a thinker. I do have an IQ of 125, but my emotional intelligence is quite low, so I have trouble sympathizing with others. But I learned through experience, so I don’t SEEM emotionless. I can (and will) help my friends through tough times if they need me. I’m pragmatic, so I always go for the facts instead of the feelings during decision making or tough situations. I hold a lot of perfectionist traits that make it really hard for me to be satisfied with my results if they aren’t higher than the norm. I also have a slight issue with saying no, so sometimes I’ll offer my help or enrol myself in long-term projects while knowing I legit do not have time for more stuff on my schedule. Being a bit smarter than average, I sometimes feel like I’m obligated to help others so that they can do good too (however, I do like helping people with their hw to a certain extent). I’m working on those issues though!! I’m also an introvert, and I can get rlly tired if I have to be interacting for more than four hours straight with people, especially if their persona isn’t rlly compatible with mine.

However, when I’m surrounded by friends (or generally people who aren’t my superiors), I’m very energetic, loud, silly and I have a sharp tongue. I’m also insanely competitive, like someone please stop me?? My sense of humour goes from absolute nonsense to almost mean spirited sarcasm, but it all depends on who I’m talking to. I’m a MAJOR memer, I have a bunch of files filled with them, and I couldn’t bear be with people who didn’t understand my meme references. When I start liking something, I can get easily obsessed. I’m stubborn, therefore very passionate about the things I care about. I also have a slight case of the Endorphin Junkie, meaning that I really, really like the high you get after sports so I do crossfit training like five to six times a week. I have a really, really big love for music and I have a tendency to break into song sometimes when people say a line from a song I know. Appearance: I’m around 5’6”, with hazel eyes and brown hair that goes around to my shoulders. It gets curly out of nowhere. I can either wake up with straight hair or wake up with a freakin perm, it’s funny. My body isn’t exactly the lean type, I’m somewhere around the buff area of the scale instead, but as long as I seem visibly strong, I’m satisfied. When I’m not going anywhere significant, I usually just wear sport shirts and sweats, but I have a penchant for Dark Academia so I like /looking/ like I’m smart sometimes. Truth or dare gone wrong

The class 1-A were all gathered in their common room, even Bakugou was present. The class was having a truth or dare session, it seemed interesting. “Sero, my man! Truth or dare?” Denki asked as he looked at Sero. “Truth! I choose truth,” Sero said. “Who have you been talking on the phone to this past weeks? The one I keep hearing is my pumpkin?” Denki asked. Sero’s face then turned a light shade of pink. “O-Oh- ummm,” He started as he looked away. “Does our Cellophane have a girlfriend?” Mina teased as she poked Sero. “Y-Yeah,” He stuttered. “OI THAT’S NOT FAIR?!? WHY CAN YOU HAVE A GIRL BUT I CAN’T,” Denki sulked as he placed his head on the table. “If you weren’t such a perv then maybe you can get one!” Hakagure responded.

“Don’t be shy. Tell us more,” Mina said. Sero’s blush darkened and he looked away. “We are playing truth or dare! It’s my turn to ask,” Sero then said. “Actually, I am quite curious as well. We can always continue later,” Momo said as she smiled. Everyone agreed and they then looked at the nervous male. “C’mon now guys, this is unfair,” Sero said as he looked at everyone. “But you have a girl and we want tea,” Mina then said as she sat in front of him. “I- um, you guys really want to know about her, huh?” Sero said as he chuckled. Everyone nodded and stared at Sero intently. “Just tell us already, Soy sauce,” Bakugou growled as he glared at Sero. “Don’t listen to him, bro. He is just jealous,” Kirishima said. “WHAT-“ Bakugou was about to counter but was silenced. “Fine! Fine! You got me in a corner,” Sero then said as he chuckled. “She should be coming here,” He added as he looked at the door. “Three, two, one,” He then said as he pointed to the door.

“Hello, is Sero Hanta here?”A feminine voice said. “ARE YOU A PSYCHIC?” Denki said as he looked surprised. “I’m right here pumpkin!” Sero then said as he smirked. His nervousness melted away as he saw the 5’6ft girl. It was his girlfriend, Eve, and he was overjoyed. “Hey there babe!” She then said as she smiled. “DANG YOU GOT A FINE LADY!” Denki then yelled as he checked her out. “Keep your eyes above for I’ll gorge them out,” Eve then said as she glared at Denki. Soon enough, Mineta tried to touch her as well but his efforts were at vain. Sero used his tape as to stop Mineta from getting closer. And Eve kicked him away, far away from her. “Get your filthy hands away from her,” Sero said as he stood up. He then wrapped his arms around her and kissed her forehead. “Woah, that was so manly!” Kirishima said as he smiled.

“GIRLS! GET HER-“ Mina said as she tackled the girl. They didn’t fall down but Mina was laughing and hugging her. “Girl! How long have you been together?” Mina asked as she pulled away. Eve was a bit uncomfortable but she merely had a stoic face. “A few weeks,” She responded bluntly. And soon enough, the truth or dare session was forgotten. It was replace with the class 1-A trying to pry out the tea from the couple. Did they succeed? No, not really. Though the class seemed to love Eve and her antics. The class even tried to make them forget about the date they have planned. But either way, Sero and Eve got manage to get away to have their small movie date at his room.

My Friendship With Grace

Grace and I met in my eighth grade math class, though it was seventh grade for her. She was honestly way too smart to be in the class, but she was required to have a math class on her seventh grade schedule, so she got pulled into the advanced algebra class for eighth graders. She barely showed up most days because she went to a special group where she learned concepts and formulas that I won’t get around to until my senior year of college. On the days Grace did show up however, she pestered me a lot. Being pestered wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, I didn’t mind her too much. She had braces, I had braces; she was kind of a nerd, and I was kind of a nerd too--it worked out. I would desperately try to figure out the answers of my homework (I still don’t quite understand trigonometry), and Grace would take my phone and play games on it for the entire class. I was definitely fond of her, but I didn’t think much of it at the time. If someone had told me that the eleven year old girl clicking away at Tap Tap Fish on my iPhone SE would grow up to be my best friend, I would’ve told them they were crazy.

Grace and I have an incredible amount of overlap between our interests, which is coincidentally how we reconnected as I went into high school and she stayed in middle school. I was playing a god awful video game with my friends one summer afternoon, League of Legends, and somehow ended up on a team with Grace in it. She entered the call and I recognized her squeaky voice immediately, so we both got talking again pretty quickly. At the time, we bonded over our unfortunate addiction to video games, and our love for Panic! At the Disco, though I like to believe our interests have become a little more refined in recent years. These days we like to go shopping, or just talk about clothes nonstop. We watch anime together, and we’ve moved on from sucking at League of Legends to building dreamy treehouses in Minecraft. In my opinion, our music taste has definitely developed too. She’s fallen down the K-Pop rabbit hole, whereas I’m a bit more into R&B and hip-hop. Despite our differences, I can always trust Grace with the aux cord. Deep down, I don’t think either of us is entirely out of our pop punk phase either. We’ve definitely had some interesting moments in the kitchen as well, whether that’s making an actual meal, or messing around with those DIY cooking kits meant for children. We did once make an entire Thanksgiving dinner for our friend group, and it was pretty damn good if I do say so myself. Additionally, we’re lovers of all things cute (which is definitely reflected in our Thanksgiving pie), and whenever I’m visiting her, we go on frequent Daiso (a chain of dollar stores with objects imported from Japan) trips to stock up on stationary, matching keychains, and other silly trinkets we don’t really need.

That’s the one disadvantage to the friendship--I have to visit Grace, and I don’t mean a walk across the street, a twenty minute bike ride, or even an hour long drive. I mean a three hour plane ride. Right before my freshman year, Grace’s dad got a new job opportunity working in Seattle, Washington. Essentially, she was torn out of the Midwestern cornfields and dropped off at a new trendy school in a new trendy neighborhood on the west coast as soon as we had started getting close. However, this didn’t stop us from deepening our bond. We did a surprisingly good job at staying in touch, and for the past five years we’ve been able to text for hours a day and call several times a week. As much as we both wish we could meet up at a small cafe for weekly study sessions, it’s just not possible, but we improvise. I’ve spent many nights on the phone with Grace while we watch cheesy animes, eat cut up fruit, and work on our homework. We miss each other like crazy, and COVID hasn’t made that any easier, but the saying “Distance makes the heart grow fonder” couldn’t be any more true.

When Grace and I do get the chance to be together, we go all out. I don’t know any friends who hang out quite the way we do. I don’t know anyone besides Grace who I’d be comfortable sharing a bath with while we wait for our lasagna to finish cooking in the oven. None of my other friends will have a candlelit dinner with me while listening to the Minecraft soundtrack, nor will they wake up at six in the morning to eat strawberries with me while we watch the sunrise. We once found out we were gonna be in the same airport at the same time, and decided to eat breakfast together before we had to part ways. We spend hours walking around the Mall of America since none of the malls in Washington even come close to comparing. One time we went to the art museum and pointed out any sculptures and paintings with two people in them that reminded us of ourselves.

That brings me to another point - Grace and I are insane at gift giving. With her sheer artistic talent, and my uncontrollable spending habits, we really do each other justice. Those sculptures that I mentioned Grace and I compared ourselves to? She made me a mini version of them for Christmas. No one else has ever taken the time to do something like that for me. This goes both ways. I know no one has ever gifted Grace an enormous package filled with nothing but merchandise from her favorite Sanrio character, Keroppi, or gifted her an entire outfit (complete with accessories) on her birthday. Even the letters she writes to me feel like tiny presents, they’re always handwritten and covered in adorable little stickers. She seals the envelopes with a wax stamp and everything. No one has ever done something so romantic for me before, not even my last boyfriend who I dated for two years.

I can tell Grace literally anything, and she can tell me anything too. I’ve found that in most relationships, there’s always certain things you can’t say to the other person. I’m bound to clash with almost everyone in my life at one point or another, and I can’t vent about someone’s BS to their own face. Even though things do get talked out with them eventually, it’s often after I have a lot of reflection and planning on how I want to discuss things. Grace is the exception to that--I can tell her anything. We almost never fight or get upset with each other. In fact, the only time we’ve ever had friend problems was when a girl at Grace’s school wasn’t too fond of me dating her ex-boyfriend, and she tried to mess with our friendship as a result. As you can probably guess, we got it figured out pretty quickly.

The bond Grace and I share is definitely not a common one to find. I’ve had friends tell me how badly they wish they had a friendship like Grace and I have, and honestly, I don’t blame them. I love every single one of my friends so much, but there’s such a great connection Grace and I have through our enjoyment of general dumbassery, but also our appreciation for things that are romantic and adorable. She’s the homemade whipped cream to my strawberry pie, the Dancing Figure #1 to my Dancing Figure #2. I want Grace to be in my life for a very long time, and I don’t doubt that’ll happen. I can’t wait for us to fall victim to the 50% divorce rate when we’re in our forties, and realize that “she was the one” all along. And I’m only half kidding.

SO I HAD A DAY DREAM AND I SHARED IT WITH @jeonslilmonster and now Im posting it here because its a mess and Im a mess heads up long post a head(there is more under the cut)! I apologize for all the spelling mistakes this was written when I was either A VVVV tired or B really rushing x’d enjoy

so uuh basically it's a stupid thing but I like debuted with a girl group  and the concept had been like pretty sweet and cute so far but not like sugary sweet just sweet enough and it was like a open secret that I maybe a little bit had some sort of feelings directed towards Kino

and it was put on record more then once by other members in like behind the scenes and stuff  teasing me about listening to their music and watching them from backstage of MCD and stuff

so then like every body knew sort of well our entire company knew and they reached out to Cube and was like 

''HEY so you know our girl group that is kind of on the rise and getting really populor yeah you know our main dancer? we were thinking maybe she could collab with one of the members from pentagon for like a co-ed subunit thing and like we're just throwing this out there but maybe they could have like a reality show as well showing their relationship build and their teamwork getting better and they're like living together kind of like a behind the scenes and were just throwing this out there but maybe it could be like Kino because he's a dancer two and that would make them a really great dancing couple we mean unit''

so cube was like looking at our company and back at Kino then back at our company and then back at Kino and Kinos like wut? and Cube is like 

''WE LOVE THIS IDEA ON the condition that we can have Hui and E-dawn make the track for them.'' 

and our companys like ''WE WERE JSUT GOING TO THROW IT OUT THERE THAT HUI AND EDAWN COULD MAKE THEIR TRACK FOR THEM!''  

and basically the ceo of Cube and our ceo were happily jumping around like best momfreinds thinking their were onto the next big thing

meanwhile we're all like practising for a showcase coming up and just ot like stay in shape and were having fun and stuff when the Ceo walks in and were like 

OH SNAP HE FOUND OUT ABOUT OUR SNACK HIDE OUT AND THERE IS CAMERAS  SO WERE THINKING WE ABOUT TO GET SCOLDED ON OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL

 so we're terrified but turns out he didn't and he just wanted to brief us on the unit thing and I didn't even realize it was me until the leader in my group pointed it out like 

''oohoooooo look at our little dancer going to do a co-ed unit with some boy just don't fall in love to easily'' i was like wuuut meee?? wait wait wait who is this sub unit with?? and the CEO JUST STRAIGHT UP SMIRKS AND GOES 

''oh you know just Pentagons Kino'' 

AND THEN JSUT MAKES UP A SHITTY EXCUSE WHY AND OUT GROUP GOES MAD LAUGHING AND COOING AND I'M JSUT BLUSHING DYING ON THE INSIDE TRYING TO KEEP MY COOL AND my leader goes

 ''GUESS THE FALLING PART IS ALREADY TO LATE FOR HUH!?''

cut to the actual start of the reality shoot which is move in day and before this like me an dKino hadn't really met up because they wanted this to be a SUPER genuine interaction so I arrive early and I walk around in the small but cosy apartment trying to calm myself down and distracting myself by looking at the different things inspecting the kitchen and unpacking but I still finished everything before he arrived so I probably sat on the couch and freaked out a little relaxing by playing a game on my phone with ear buds in. 

so I didn't hear him when he came in and he just like looked around and saw my feet hanging over the couch edge and walked over saying hello again and I just bounce up blushing apologizing and bowing and saying hello to him and he's like nonon it's okay it's nice to see that you've settled in and then we talk for a bit and he goes to unpack and I just literally deflate on the couch

Then he comes out of his room and asking if there is any food in the fridge and I'm like no and I'm reaaaally hungry so he's like then we should go grocery shopping so we out our jackets on and we leave and it's kind of awkward walking there but once inside I'm going into full food shopping mode and im pulling out a cart and just sliding along 

and we start talking about what we should eat and he's like lets do take out and I'm like noooooo I'll cook I'm not really feeling take out tonight so we buy stuff for that and he picks out regular noodles 

and before I like point it out that I need gluten free ones he's like ''oh wait you're gluten intolerant right? will rice noodles work?'' 

and he reaches behind me 

bAXKING ME UP AGAISN THE WALL 

SO IM TRRAPPED BETWEEN HIM AND A WALL

and I'm like y-yeah rice noodles totally work 

and then I'm like h-how did you know I was gluten intolerant????? 

because honestly HEARTATTCKMOMENT RIGHT THERE and he just shrugs and goes ''I've watch your group on varitey shows and seen you suffer when they order pizza you cant eat.'' and I just went 

''woaaah so chic'' without even thinking and he just chuckles and pulls the cart along while I'm hanging over it (now you can totally imagine how this would be edited right?!??)

then we head back to our little apartment and he helps me unpack and I tie my hair up and start prepping the food and he's like do you need help can I help in any way and I'm like uuuhmm no I'm fine you should relax for a while this won't be taking so long and he's like but I really want to help you don't have to do all of this by yourself and 

I'm like go relax AND LET ME COOK A MEAL FOR MY SUNBAENIM and he's like okay okay and he goes off into his bedroom for a while before he comes out and says ''I'm taking a shower''

 and as soon as he closes the door I deflate again muttering to myself before getting up like nothing happened and continued to cook quietly for myself humming a little just plating up as he got out (fully dressed) 

and I'm like ''ah I just finished!'' and he comes over and I move a bowl closer to him and hand him some utensils and we star to eat and he looks geniune when he smiles and says that he really likes it and I go ''good because this won't happen often''

 and he just laughs and then he asks if I cook often for you guys and I'm like yeah when I moved here they'll probably miss my food more then me and he chuckles in disbelife for a moment and once we're finished he's like 

'' I'll do the dishes since you cooked thank you really'' and I'm like o-okay just save the left overs! before I head off and also take a shower taking off my make up and dressing in my pyjamas walking out just as I finished putting a face mask on and I just go 

''watch out there's a monster!'' 

and he's like where? and he turns around and I jump out with a grey bubbly mask and he jumps a little and I laugh so hard I almsot fall over

and then I wash it off and walk back out again really smug that I got him and we end up sitting on the ouch for a while talking about our schedules for tomorrow where the cameras are rigged how I totally got to him and so on

and then the show goes like that and it shows us growing closer and closer with each task we do together and we both have a selfcamera that we bring to our seperete activities and Kino brought his to his practice with pentagon and while they are resting they start grilling him like 

''is she cute? have you seen her without make up? did she really cook for you? when can we meet her?''

 and he just tries to answer casually but they are boys so of course they are going to ask wierd quesitions and then Hui grabs the camera when hes talking to Kino and he lowers it pretending that he turned it off 

and he just goes ''okay so off the record you think she's cute right?'' and kino just like ''y-yeah I mean she's cute but-''

''so you've liked her for a long time right?'' ''ah hyung how did you-''

''I keep track of things now answer me you like her... right? like more as a friend like her?'' and Kino hestites for a moment cringing that he's opening up about this and just goes. 

''yes. I really like her... she's just so...special.....yeah there is nobody like her’’ and Hui just 

nods and puts a hand on his shoulder.

''well I think you should talk to her and tell her how you feel.'' ''but what if she doesn't like me the same way?'' and Hui just looks and him deadpanned and goes 

''if you've seen one episode of her groups reality show you'll know that's a stupid question'' and then he hands the camera to him and walks away and when Kino looks down he's like

 THIS IS STILL RECORDING YAH HYUNG GET BACK HERE

and when the editors get this clip they are like....... bro.....this is gold bro.....but bro....we should talk to the ceos bro....I know bro....and probably them too bro...I know bro 

SOOOO they did talk to the Ceo and they just swirvel around in their chairs going ''excelent'' and they call up each other like our masterplan is working...and then cube ceo would call Kino into his office and show him the video

 and after it ended he would go ''confess to her'' and Kino would be so confused like but I our company?? the reputation??? and cube just hushes him and goes ''we've been looking at the comments and me and her ceo already hoped for this and we think it'll only help both groups immensly!'' ''but the dating ban?'' ''what dating ban??'' 

and then our ceo would call me in like ''hey so I know that you like Kino'' and I'm like all dramatically going 

''OOOhho nnOOO hOw DId yOU finD OUT IT's noT LIke my memBERS HAS BEEN OUting ME  sinC e day 1'' 

and he'd just laugh and go ''I think you should confess'' and I'm like ''okay I think you are delusional forrellz '' and he's like 

''nonono this'll be good'' 

''being rejected won't look good bruv'' 

and he'd be like ''you won't be rejected''

 ''and I'm liek yeah HAVE YOU SEEN HIM CUBE FOR 1 HAS A DATING BAN AND 2 HE HASN'T SHOWN ANY INSTEREST IN ME''

 ''what about the fact that he remembered about your allergy? or when he bought you that keychain because yours broke? OR THE SMILE ON HIS FACE WHEN YOU VISITED HIM PRACTISING?!!?'' 

and I'd be a blushing mess pouting like ''th-those aren't proof'' and he's just groan and face palm. ''trust me please! when have I ever lied to you?''

''when you said I'd debut with a sexy concept.''

''OMLL THAT'S IN THE PAST STOP BEING SO ANNOYING''

so that night when I got home to that tiny little apartment Kino hadn't arrived yet so I had the place for myself for a  while and I made some dinner ar set aside some for him and I changed into some really comfy clothes and just laid down on the floor and watched netflix thinking over everyhting the CEO told me sighing deeply rolling around on my back and sighing into the floor until I heard a chuckle. 

''Long day?'' ''yeah, there's food in the kitchen for you.'' ''a-ah thank you but I already ate.''

 ''great more for me then! I really nailed it this time!'' I'd say smiling as I got off the floor and started to walk over to the kitchen until he stopped me.

 ''BUT I'm still pretty hungry andI'm not going to miss out on a homecooked meal.'' 

and I just looked at him and the arm he was holding out infront of me trying to calm myself form a moment. ''I don't understand how you eat so much?! Do all boys eat this much food?'' and he'd just laugh and grab the food and heat it while I went back to the couch and nuzzled up in a corner. 

''what are you watching?'' ''I don't know I stopped paying attention 3 episodes ago...'' and it was quiet for a while. 

''you seem to have a lot on your mind... d-do you want to talk about it?'' and I contemplated it for a while before asking if it was okay and he just went ''we're the same age go ahead!''

and I braced myself and turned towards him slightly and nervously pulled on my shirt before talking . 

''so uhhh... my CEO called me into a meeting today and he talked to me about things that I foolishly thought I had managed to keep away from him...'' I said biting my cheek face palming. ''o-oh? did you get in trouble?'' I shook my head ''n-no quite the opposite h-he uhm want me to take a chance and uhm pursue this thing because he says it'll work out in my favor.......so yeah... I'm still a bit torn since there is another party involved and I don't know how they would react.'' I said blushing and fidgeting like a mad man almost hiding in my shirt out of embarresment

and he'd just nod putting down his empty bowl and turning towards me.

''and honestly I just feel like en idiot because I get so nervous about it.'' I mumbled and looked at him then looking away blushing and he'd just hum and scratch the back off his head like. 

''I-I had a similar meeting today as well...'' ''ah really?'' ''y-yeah but I uh was outed by my groupmates and I-I think that's why I was called in a-a-and m-m-maybe you t-t-too...'' he'd say stumbling over almost every word and we just look at each other 

blushing trying to figure out if the other is thinking the same thing until I spoke. 

''s-so I-I can assume that the other party w-would be onboard....?'' I'd ask shyly and he'd just nod and I'd relax before just deciding to go for it. 

''B-because I-I sort of...ummm for a long time i've ummm liked you.... but I uh wasn't s-sure h-how uhm y-you would f-feel s-so i-i haven’t been brave enough to say anything...'' 

I'd say while my heart beated so fast I could barely breathe being to scared to look at him. 

and I'd feel the couch shift and I'd look up 

and he'd sit 

ALOT MORE CLOSE  

and he just put a hand on my knee blushing.

 ''I-I've l-liked you for a l-long time too and n-nobodys known u-until my hyungs confronted me about it....

I-I turn into a fool around things like this b-but nobodys like you a-and y-yeah'' 

and I'd be such a  blushing mess squealing slightly and just faceplanting forward into his shoulder whining.

 ''why does this feel so awkward why am I so awkward oh god.'' and he'd just chuckle and move closer and sit me backup still blushing and 

we just end up looking at eachother for a while until he goes.

''Close your eyes...'' 

and I'd just blush and do so and 

I could feel him coming closer until 

he stopped right infront of me whispering

 ''Is this okay?'' 

and I'd just nodd slightly 

before he pressed his lips to mine 

and almost imidiatly my hands  went up to his chest resting my hands there relaxing into it ( now imagine the edit where it cuts right after he asked if it was okay)

and then it would cut to both of us in the kitchen ordering take out being a little bit more touchy and standing a bit closer together like there is a hand on my back or a hand on his arm lingering  and after we order 

I'd sit myself on the counter and we'd look at each other for a while just smiling at each other. 

''how long?'' He'd ask and I'd just chuckle shaking my head. ''welll uh...let's jsut say since before I debuted but uh my emotions really escalated after my debut the one time we met backstage of inkigayo we were just saying hi but my heart raced so fast....'' I said clutching my chest smiling to myself 

''what about you?'' I'd ask looking at him and he'd just smile and walk over to stand across from me. 

''since before that I uh I saw your group busking really close to your debut and they way to treated all of your fans and how sweet you were it just...I would've stayed for the enitre busking if not my hyungs dragged me away...'' 

he said and I just raised my eyebrows in confusing like ''you knew who I was?'' ''of course! Why wouldn't I?'' ''wuah... I thought I was a nobody in your world until recently... when my ceo told me about this collab I thought the universe was playing a prank on me.'' 

I said and then the food arrived so he went to go and get it and then we sat down on the floor in the livingroom and ate and continued talking almost like nothing had happened but with maybe a little more deeper subjects.

cut to after the song is released (this is after Shine everything else was before) and Kino and I get invited to ASC with our subunit and we start the recording and Jae is like 

''you two also have a realityshow coming out right now where the two of you live together how was it living together?''

 and me and Kino just give each other one look and start laughing. 

''it was really nice actually, when it's just two people you can get a lot more privacy then in our regular dorms.'' ''and since we're the same age it wasn't really that awkward.'' 

and jae's like this sin't the juicy stuff I wanted and goes 

''okay but there had to be somethings that really bothered you about each other?'' and we just looked at each other again.

''I mean no-'' ''well there is this one thing Kino does.'' ''WHAT!?'' '' it's not like a huge deal but he kept using my soap and like I'm fine with sharing but he doesn't tell me and thinks he will get away with it?'' 

and Kino just breaks apart and Jae is laughing like a mad man, 

''BUT IT SMELLS SO MUCH NICER but if we are going there she is REALLY quiet like REALLY QUIET I don't know how she does it but when she walks she walks so lightly I can't hear anything and then all of the sudden shes next to me I still havent gotten used to that.''

 ''what can I say I'm a ninja'' 

and the show goes on and we talk about the song and then jae asks us what our favourite song of each other is and Kino goes first and says like a b-side that he likes and I'm like 

''I REALLY like shine'' and jaes like oh why? and I'm like looking at Kino smiling going ''well it reminds me of something yet to be revealed in our show.'' 

and Kino's just chuckling and Jae is hella confused and then I go. 

''Also the chorepgraphy is really funny.''

and then we talked to our fans and  it was really funny doing the missions and answer the fans questions and since I knew the internet lingo that signs where really funny to me an then

so that night we got to our little apartment and we started the episode and commented on the editing and then the clip where

Hui totally tricked Kino came up I just laughed and pushed him.

and we kept watching and he wrapped his arma round my shoulder so I could rest my head on his and when the scene were we confessed came up both of us inched closer and closer at the editing

and the episode is over 

and we just go into an outburst yelling. 

''YAH THEY CAN'T DO THAT!?''

''it's our reality show.'' 

''OH RIGHT... I forgot that'' 

and then our phone would start going off with notfications from our members and other people Jae included who was yelling in caps 

and then the tweets started falling in and we had to turn off our phones so they would crash 

because of the notifications 

and we just looked at eachother for a while laughing  

before I wrapped my arms around his middle 

hugging him

“I still can't believe Jiyu and Bin broke up,” Sanha whispered, turning to face Minhyuk. “To be honest, I didn't think they were a good match.”

“Of course,” Minhyuk muttered, writing down the problem their teacher had just left on the board.

“She's just too sweet for him.”

Minhyuk had to make a conscious effort not to roll his eyes. Sanha had been pining over Jiyu since their first year of high school. Now, they were in their final year, and Minhyuk couldn't believe it was still going strong. “Okay.”

“I’m surprised, you know. She's so close with Myungjun, I expected something to happen there.”

Minhyuk shrugged, not answering this time. He didn't know what else he could say to his blond friend. The more he answered, the more Sanha would talk.

Don’t get him wrong: he would much rather listen to Sanha speak than their teacher. He could listen to Sanha speak for ages. However, Jiyu wasn’t exactly his favourite conversation topic. She was nice, sure, and pretty, but every time her name fell from Sanha’s lips, Minhyuk felt his chest tighten. He said her name with such fondness, a fondness that Minhyuk wanted to feel.

And so, he didn’t say a word, choosing to focus on the class instead.

The next day went similarly. Sanha and Minhyuk were sitting with their friends in the classroom, waiting for their teacher to arrive. Out of the corner of his eye, however, Minhyuk noticed Sanha’s gaze trailed on him. He turned his head to look at his friend, but Sanha’s attention wasn’t actually on Minhyuk. Rather, it was on something to Minhyuk’s left, and when he turned to look, he wished he hadn’t. Jiyu was sitting at the table beside theirs, laughing softly as Myungjun made a funny face. Along with Jinwoo, the three of them were rarely ever seen apart, which Minhyuk found somewhat sweet. Not that he’d ever admit it.

Minhyuk sighed softly, directing his attention back to the conversation. If he had had the energy, maybe he would’ve said something to Sanha for being so obvious. Right then, though, he just wanted class to start.

“Minhyuk,” Sanha whispered, 20 minutes into the class. “Do you want to hang out today? Go get ice-cream?”

Minhyuk chuckled softly. “Since when do you ask so early? Of course.”

Sanha grinned, braces glinting, and Minhyuk let his own lips turn up into a smile.

“You’re paying?” Minhyuk asked Sanha as they exited their school building at the end of the day.

Sanha, of course, just made a cute face, knowing fully well that Minhyuk would crack.

“Okay, fine,” Minhyuk sighed. “Let’s go.” He truly was a sucker.

Sanha skipped alongside Minhyuk as they made their way to the ice-cream parlor, and Minhyuk’s soft smile never left his face. Sanha had a way of making him smile with everything he did, and yet he was blissfully unaware. Blissfully unaware of the way he made Minhyuk feel as light as a feather, and Minhyuk intended to keep it that way.

When they got there, Sanha immediately got two scoops of strawberry ice-cream, smiling widely when the old lady behind the counter handed the cone to him.

“No sprinkles?” Minhyuk asked, eyeing the pink scoops. “That’s unlike you.”

“I didn’t want to charge you extra.”

Minhyuk smiled at the sentiment, shaking his head. “Go ahead, get your sprinkles.”

Sanha grinned, eyes alight with both disbelief and excitement, and turned back to the counter. Minhyuk watched as he eagerly pointed to the rainbow sprinkles. He would basically be broke after this purchase, but to see Sanha smile like that was worth all the money in the world.

And when Sanha asked why Minhyuk only got one scoop of chocolate ice-cream in a cup, he just shrugged and said he didn’t want anything else.

They sat at a table by the front window, Sanha immediately attacking his cone. Minhyuk laughed at his friend’s eagerness and pulled out his phone, snapping a couple pictures of the sight.

“Minhyuk!” Sanha whined, but couldn’t help his laughter. “Stop!”

“Nope.” Minhyuk smiled before leaning across the table and licking Sanha’s ice-cream.

“Hey!” The blond protested and moved his cone out of reach.

“I paid for it!” Minhyuk laughed, wiping a trace of pink ice-cream off his nose.

Sanha huffed, causing him to laugh again.

He couldn’t help but wonder what they looked like to onlookers. Did they simply look like best friends, enjoying ice-cream on a hot day? Minhyuk wondered whether this was what it would be like to go on a date with Sanha. After they’d finish, Minhyuk would hold his hand and take him to see the ducks in the park just a block over. They would sit by the pond and skip stones, and maybe Minhyuk would be brave enough to kiss his cheek at the end of the day.

But of course, that was just a daydream. Sanha in front of him wasn’t his date; they were simply the best of friends, nothing less but also nothing more. And when they walked to the duck pond, they didn’t hold hands, nor did Minhyuk try to kiss him.

He did, however, let Sanha make him happy, even if he had to keep it a secret. He would rather take the secret to his grave than lose his best friend.

When Minhyuk saw the keychain, he knew he needed it.

It didn’t matter that it was in the middle of a grocery store. The keychain was cute and he would be damned if he didn’t get it for Sanha. He took it off the hook gently and placed it in the shopping cart, ignoring his mum’s questioning gaze.

“That doesn’t look like something you’d like.”

“It’s for Sanha,” Minhyuk offered, busying himself with looking at the different types of tea.

Minhyuk’s mum opened her mouth to say something but seemed to decide against it. Minhyuk was thankful for that. He had managed to keep his feelings under wraps for this long and had no intention of letting his facade slip. Of course, it helped if he wasn’t asked about it,

When he got home and had finished putting away the groceries, he texted Sanha.

sanha [5:13pm] sure :-)

Every weekend they would go to the park, even if just for a little while. It started when they first met, back in middle school, and carried on as more of a tradition than a fun outing.

Pocketing the keychain, he stepped out of his house and began walking. Once he got to the park, he made a beeline for the pull-up bars and, within seconds, was hanging upside down from the highest one. He always waited for Sanha like this, since it always roused a smile from the blond boy.

He pulled the keychain out of his pocket to contemplate it. It was a little patchwork creature, maybe a bunny of sorts, with yellow buttons for eyes. On the cheeks were sewn little red hearts, which was what initially made Minhyuk think of Sanha.

He looked up from the little bunny to see Sanha approaching and closed his hand around the small gift to hide it.

“Minhyuk,” Sanha greeted as he walked up to his friend, an amused smile on his face. “I’m always worried that you’re going to fall.”

“Ah, don’t worry your cute self over me,” Minhyuk teased. He pushed himself up, and after some maneuvering, jumped down in front of Sanha. He slipped the keychain back into his pocket, deciding he’d give it to Sanha at the perfect moment.

“You know what I heard?” Sanha said as they started walking. Minhyuk shook his head. “You know that guy Dongmin?”

Minhyuk then nodded, kicking a stray rock on the pathway. “Yeah, with all the girls chasing after him all the time.”

“Yeah. He and Bin are now friends.”

“What?” Minhyuk raised an eyebrow. “Isn’t he, like, super studious, as opposed to Bin?”

“Yup.” Sanha nodded. “Bin apparently got into a fight over him.”

“I doubt that’s true.”

“Myungjun told me!”

“When did you speak to Myungjun?”

“I was texting him last night,” Sanha explained, cheeks reddening. Oh no. “He told me.”

“What else did he tell you?” Minhyuk mumbled, eyes on the ground. His fingers curled around the keychain in his pocket.

“We, uh, talked about Jiyu,” Sanha explained, rubbing the back of his neck. “He gave me some tips.”

“Tips?” Minhyuk repeated, eyes widening. “Are you actually going to do something?”

“I’m thinking of confessing.”

Minhyuk stopped dead in his tracks, wide eyes on Sanha. The blond kept walking for a few steps before noticing his friend’s absence and turning around. “What?”

“You didn’t tell me.”

“About?”

“Confessing.”

“I- I’m telling you now.” Sanha took a few steps closer to Minhyuk. “You’re never interested when I talk about her.”

“This isn’t about her,” Minhyuk stated. “This is about you.”

“I just- I thought he would know better how to-”

Minhyuk scoffed, running a hand through his hair. His chest was tight and heart was heavy as he spoke, interrupting Sanha. “So what? You’re- We’re supposedly best friends. You really told him before me?”

“You would’ve discouraged me.”

Minhyuk’s breath hitched. “What?”

“You heard me.” Sanha frowned.

“That’s not true and you know it.” His surprise was beginning to turn into anger. “When have I ever discouraged you from doing something you wanted to?”

When Sanha didn’t reply, Minhyuk shook his head. “I’ve always supported you, no matter how stupid or ridiculous your ideas were. Remember your first guitar, Sanha?”

“Me wanting to confess to her isn’t stupid or ridiculous.”

“Oh my god, I didn’t say that!”

Sanha huffed, looking away from Minhyuk into the distance. “You never really liked her. I would’ve known.”

“She’s nice, Sanha,” Minhyuk hissed through gritted teeth. “She’s nice and she’s pretty and- and she’s probably smart. That really doesn’t change the fact that you went to Kim Myungjun, out of all people, before me.”

“He can definitely help me more than you can!”

“So what? Have you been friends with him for 6 years? You don’t even talk to him in school!” Minhyuk argued. He didn’t know why he was getting so worked up over such an insignificant thing. He knew, he knew that he was being ridiculous, but he couldn’t stop himself. “You didn’t think it would be important for me to know this?!”

“It doesn’t matter, Minhyuk!” Sanha almost yelled. “It doesn’t matter who I tell or when I tell them! I told you now, didn’t I? What’s 24 hours, in the grand scheme of things?”

Minhyuk shook his head, taking a couple steps back. “I’m going home.”

He didn’t speak to Sanha for two days after that. He still sat next to him in class like he did every day, but he ignored his presence. He knew it was petty, but Sanha was doing the same thing, and he wasn’t going to be the first person to crack. It was all Sanha’s fault, anyways - why couldn’t he have just told him?

Sitting on the bus alone were the hardest parts of those two days. The lack of Sanha meant that he was alone with his music - and his thoughts. Obviously, the one thing his brain chose to zero in on was Sanha’s potential confession. He didn’t know when - or even if - it was happening, and as much as he didn’t want to know, he had to. He wanted to be there for Sanha, even if it meant willingly shattering his heart in the process. Picking between having a broken heart or a Sanha-sized hole in his life was easy - it wasn’t like he ever put his own well-being before Sanha, anyway.

Why couldn’t he just move on, when he so clearly knew Sanha wasn’t interested? Why did these feelings have to blossom deep within his rib cage, and instead of wilting away, why did they choose to grow and grow until it felt like they were suffocating him? Minhyuk almost felt like hating Sanha would be easier than loving him, but he would never want that. However, he did wish that he could understand, or better yet, control his feelings. He could always control the way he dealt with them, sure, but that was exhausting. He would rather not have them altogether.

He was certain that the feelings would fade eventually, but if there was a way to speed up the process, Minhyuk would try anything.

On the third day, when Sanha plopped down into the chair beside him, Minhyuk was ready to ignore him again. However, Sanha seemed to have other plans. Without warning, he wrapped his arms around his friend, pulling him as close as the chairs allowed him to.

Minhyuk was surprised, but didn’t pull away from the touch. Instead, he freed an arm from beside him and wrapped it around Sanha’s shoulders, reciprocating the hug. He smiled softly as he rested his cheek on top of Sanha’s head, eyes fluttering shut as he enjoyed the affection. In that moment, nothing else mattered: not their fight, not Jiyu, not anyone in the world. Just Sanha.

He knew the bliss was only temporary.

He didn’t realise just how temporary.

On the bus home that evening, Sanha was chattering excitedly about the new song that a group he likes had just released, but Minhyuk couldn’t pay attention. His gaze was trailed on the girl that had just stepped onto the bus and taken the seat a couple rows in front of them; rather, his eyes were trailed on Jiyu. Sanha had yet to notice her, and Minhyuk intended to keep it that way.

He waited for Sanha to stop talking before nudging him with his shoulder. “I have something for you.”

Sanha watched curiously as he reached into his bag, searching a bit before pulling out the keychain. “I saw this and thought it was cute,” Minhyuk explained, giving it to Sanha who took it carefully out of his friend’s hand. “It reminded me of you.”

Sanha then grinned, tearing his gaze away from the little bunny to meet Minhyuk’s unsure gaze. “It’s so cute, thank you!” With that, he threw his arms around Minhyuk and squeezed him tightly.

Minhyuk laughed when they pulled away. “I’m glad you like it.”

“I love it.” Sanha nodded, picking up his own bag from the floor of the bus and placing it on his lap. Struggling for a moment, he managed to get the keychain on the zip. “Look! Now I’ll be reminded of you wherever I go.”

“You never go anywhere other than school with that,” Minhyuk pointed out. “I’m there in school anyways.”

“Oof, fine, I won’t say nice things then.” Sanha pouted comically, crossing his arms and turning to face forward.

Minhyuk was going to keep teasing him when he noticed Sanha’s expression rapidly change. Before he could even process it, Sanha’s hand was wrapped around his upper arm, shaking him slightly. “That’s Jiyu!” Sanha whispered.

“Mhm. Have you talked to her?”

“No.” Sanha’s wide eyes then turned to Minhyuk. “Should I do it now?”

Concealing his feelings, Minhyuk shrugged. “Why not?”

Just then, though, the bus began slowing down, and Jiyu stood up and swung her bag over her shoulder. Once the bus halted, she stepped off.

The next moment was a blur for Minhyuk. One second, Sanha was sitting beside him, grasping his arm, and the next he was up on his feet, nearly tearing behind Jiyu with a shouted, “I’ll text you!”

Minhyuk watched with wide eyes as his best friend ran behind the black haired girl, and let his gaze stay on them even after the bus had begun driving away.

And then it hit him. His best friend had left him with nothing more than an “I’ll text you!” in order to chase after a girl. His best friend, the one person whose love he wanted all to himself, was off sharing that love with someone Minhyuk could never be.

As he lowered his eyes, he noticed something white lying on the floor of the bus, close to the door.

He never would’ve thought that the sight of a mere keychain could hurt him so badly.

Cutie Reviews: Kawaii Box Feb 19

So it’s probably obvious by now... I didn’t get to put in an order with Japan Crates online website like I initially planned. I think what happened was that I became distracted by something else. At the very beginning of the month I put in an order for a set of scented oils for my room sprayer and it said it would come by the 5th.

I’m still waiting.

I have no idea what happened, and by the 9th they said “there’s a chance it might be lost, so you could get a refund”. But I decided to wait it out thinking it would show up, and I just found out yesterday that they JUST took out the money for it. Meaning I either paid for it twice (considering it shipped on the 3rd) or there’s something else going on.

Neko Travel Tag Charm

I’ve expressed my disdain for luggage/travel tags before, I have no need for them. But... I’ve decided to be more lenient about this one for numerous reasons; not only is it smaller than the other ones I’ve gotten before, but I also think it could be used for other purposes (like attaching to your belt, purse, straps, etc).

There are 4 styles, each in its own color with a cute, simple kitty drawing on the front, each costing $2.03. But I also saw some others on Blippo.com in a similar style if cats aren’t your thing.

Like I said, I’m not a fan of getting luggage tags and the like because they serve no purpose for me. I can’t really do any traveling right now. But at the same time I feel like they can still serve their purpose; like if I were to go to a hotel and somehow lost a suitcase or pack or something. They could just look to see who it belongs with.

Creamy Dream Stickers

(On Blippo and in the booklet its referred to as Dreamland Pastel.)

Our next item is this very cute, pastel puffy sticker sheet themed around kitties and sweets. They’re very shiny and semi-puffy, with some puffier than the others. These cost $2.03 as well on Blippo.

I think these are very sweet and cute looking, I love how shiny they are too. The color palette is really nice on the eyes, I just wish maybe they were scented (despite what the writing on them says, they sadly aren’t), or at least equally puffy. Some of them feel really hard, while others are kind of soft.

Fluffy Sanrio Socks

I think Kawaii Box has a thing for socks, we seem to get them every now and then. But I don’t think it’s so bad, I like cutesy socks and I don’t buy them very often since I don’t wear them too much.

This item costs $3.22 on Blippo right now, and there are some other pairs from this set and the previous ones we got.

So as you can see, the sock is yellow and white with stripes on the ankle and pale brown coloring around the cuff and heel. The foot portion resembles Pompompurrin.

At the time of this box’s release, these types of socks would be very cozy if it’s still chilly where you live. Even now in summer it’s still pretty comfortable, but that might be because it’s been a little cool again due to the rain we’ve gotten the past few days.

The fuzziness of the socks is minimal at best, but they look very cute and are pretty stretchy, with the size being 23-25cm. I can feel the toe seams though, which bugs the heck out of me.

Iridescent Candy Mechanical Pencil

Next is this really pretty mechanical pencil featuring a clear, glittery tube, gold accents, and a cute matching candy with a big pearl inside of it. Each costs $1.75 on Blippo and comes in Pink, blue, purple, yellow, and white. You can also remove the charm and attach it to other items, which I think is a cute little touch.

This is also our first Valentines-esque item.

I’ve seen this plenty of times online and I’m very excited to have my own. I even got in pink x3 but all the colors are pretty. In terms of quality... what can you really say about a pencil? I will note that you can’t remove the top (as far as I know, I didn’t want to break it) so you need a separate eraser. But it does twist open so I think it can be re-filled.

Sakupan Strawberry & Sanrio Plate

(In case you were wondering, when I took these pictures I just happened to have a nearby storage container and got curious to see how it would look with the items.)

Valentines sweetness continues with our next 2 items; first up we have this adorable bag of Sakupan Panda’s in Strawberry flavor. They have a handful of variations on the Blippo website for varying prices. This specific bag is $3.90 currently.

I love eating sakupan pandas, so seeing them in strawberry was very exciting. They are a little “stuck together” because of them being exposed to heat, but they taste just fine. Speaking of taste, these are really good :P they have a sweet, slightly tart taste.

To pair with the sakupan, we got this adorable Hello Kitty melamine plate celebrating her 40th anniversary! Each plate costs $3.15 on Blippo and is in the shape of Hello Kitty’s head, featuring her and a friend dressing up together.

If you don’t wish to use this with food items, you can also use it as a little decorative bed or door side dish to hold small items, like jewelry, keys, stationery- the possibilities are endless.

Heart & Lace Princess Jewelry Box

Our next item is this pretty heart-shaped jewelry box. My picture fails to do it justice- it’s so pretty! It’s available in Pink or Purple, both with unique detail and accents, and on the inside there is even a mirror. On Blippo this costs $2.75.

I love love love LOVE this cute little box~

Not only is it just really cute, but it goes with my aesthetic perfectly. It’s also perfect for Valentines Day, and you know, makes a really good box for Jewelry or other little items. I did notice that mine has some scraggly strings in a few spots, but I can easily take care of it with a trim with some sharp scissors.

Sprinkle Heart Squishy & Heart Fantasy Keychain

How perfect is it to include a squishy in February’s box? Everyone loves squishy x3 See what I did there?

Anyway, this is a simple, heart-shaped squishy covered in sprinkles. These come in pink, green, blue, yellow, and orange, and each costs $1.33.

Bluntly putting it, this is one of those really cheap squishy everyone has at least one of in some shape (they even sell mixed bags of these types in various websites). They throw sprinkles on it that barely stick to the thing and only partially color it (although the picture probably makes it look more colored than it actually is).

Cheap squishy aside, it’s very cute- although the sprinkles aren’t very appealing. I wish they used softer colors, or at least spread them out more. I hate playing with these ones since I end up worrying over the mess it could make.

It has a really good squish though, I’d give it... probably a 6 in terms of speed (with 10 being fast and 1 being slow). It’s slow and very soft, so if you like squishies that don’t take forever to rise again and want to keep squeezing, this is a really good option.

When I was little I loved collecting keychains, especially ones like this. This charm is very pretty and available in 3 colors; I’m not sure if everyone got the pink options for these items due to the holiday or if its coincidental- but I am very happy x3 they even came in my favorite shade of pink!

The other colors are blue and purple, and contains a clear heart filled with shiny sparkles, glitter, and stars. Two tiny bottles are both filled with matching star pieces and hang between the heart and top of the chain, which has two styles of attachment. On Blippo each one costs $2.75.

It’s so pretty I can’t stand it, it’s fun to play with too. Although usually these types of things are a lot “slower“ when you shake them around, making it a lot more satisfying to watch. This one is on the faster side, so it’s not as satisfying but still nice.

It’s sure to add that sweet touch to any item you want to use it with~

Kawaii Surprise

Our final item was a special kawaii surprise for the holiday, which was a randomly selected item. I’m not sure if everyone got the same item or not, but what I got is this fun set of various glitters, mix-ins, gems, for things like deco, nail art, (probably slime making too honestly).

On Blippo this is called “Korean Cute Topping Glitter Set“ and costs $3.90. Each has a rounded topper, so I feel like you can string them together or with other items.

In this specific set we get:

x2 Heart-shaped shiny pieces in pink and blue

x3 glitters in silver, green, and purple

x2 salt/sand-like flakes in blue and purple

x1 gems

I think they’re all very pretty, especially the gems. I like the mixture we get of items, but there are a few problems with this set. Firstly, some of them are easier to open than others, most of them have lids that pop right out, but 2 of them have deeper lids and needed more force to come out. Then there is also the fact that they lack color coordination, with most of them being neon yellow or green, with one that is pink, and one purple.

What else really bugs me is that the amount they give them isn’t the same between the items. Like for example all 3 tubes of glitter come in alternate amounts. The same applies to the flaky sand/salt pieces, but the heart bottles are equal length.

Content - ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ I think the items are lovely~ they seem to be fine, there’s no real problems or anything with them. 

Price - ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥  Everything comes to $26.81 as of now (due to recent price changes on Blippo), which is pretty good when you think about how much we pay for this box (which is almost 20 dollars). So I would suppose this box is worth the price. 

Theme -�� ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥  I thought last months box really failed when it came to the theme, so I am very happy with the improvement in this one. It’s very girly and sweet, and pink, and includes all kinds of heart-themed items. A great option for Valentines Day!

Total Rank: 9 out of 10 Cuties. There are some tiny individual things that could have been better or improved upon- but I really think this is a good box and I liked it.

1. Heart Fantasy Keychain - It’s so sparkly and pretty! I haven’t actually been using any of the keychains I get as of late but I’m very tempted to find a use for this one.

2. Princess Jewelry Box - It’s so elegant looking, it definitely makes me feel like a Princess when I look at it and I’m going to have to find just the perfect spot for it in my room~

3. Sanrio Plate - I love seeing Hello Kitty dress-up like other characters x3 Doraemon, Chopper, the kitty from Monster Hunter, it’s always cute!

4. Heart Squishy - I really like the squish in this one, and it’s pretty cute. I think it could also be improved though, but I’ve never done a “squishy makeover“ before. If anything I’d at least remove all the sprinkles and apply some new, more natural looking ones that will actually stick to it.

5. Candy Mechanical Pencil - Their iridescent pastel appeal is very sweet and pretty to look at (like almost everything else in the box). I'm very happy to finally have one to call my own~

6. Sakupan Panda - I love strawberries and strawberry flavors, pandas, and pink- they’re perfect for me! They taste really good too, I wish we got more varieties of these in Tokyo Treat.

7. Glitter Set - Even if the various items aren’t an even amount, I think they will be pretty fun to use, and even looking at them is enough to enjoy their prettiness. I really want to try doing something with them, but with so many options I’m not sure what just yet...

8. Sanrio Socks - the only non-pink item I got. But they’re very soft and comfortable, with the exception of the toe seams.

9. Pastel Stickers - Very sweet and soft, looking at them gives me a dreamy, delicate vibe.

10. Cat Travel Tag - It’s pretty cute, but I just liked everything else a lot more. At least them I know for a fact I’ll end up using.

7 / Cheeky Mug ($18): A hilarious mug filled with candy, hot cocoa mix, or an adult beverage is always fun. Plus pants are super overrated.  

8 / Cozy Plaid Pillow Covers ($20 w/ code CHEER): Love that these are colorful & interesting enough not to feel basic, but they’d work with practically any sofa, armchair, or bed. 

9 / Faux Leather Tote with Matching Pouch ($49): I’m so into this cool metallic finish & that it’s two bags in one. Also comes in black, cognac, and a cool blue-gray. 

10 / Men’s Puffer Vest ($30): John loves this vest he got for himself this year and we even found a matching long-sleeve jacket ($14 today!) for our son. Fun fact: when they wear ’em together my heart explodes.

15 / Unstable Unicorns Game ($20): This game says 14+ on box, but reviewers say 8 year olds enjoy it, so we think it’s a great option for our Exploding Kittens-loving 3rd grader.

Here’s what we’re loving, either firsthand stuff we bought for ourselves and have really enjoyed – or things we’re getting for friends & family (or hoping to find under the tree). 

1 / Adulting Award Ribbons (4/$25): It would be so much fun to have an “award ceremony” at a family gathering, complete with victory laps & acceptance speeches.

2 / Black Robe with Pockets ($78-98): I bought this robe to wear around the house & I’m OBSESSED. So soft, there’s a tie inside so it doesn’t flap open, and IT HAS POCKETS! I’m living my best life. 

3 / Personalized Address Stamper ($28): Always love a personalized gift that makes things easier for people. No more writing out return addresses & they’ll think of you every time they use it. 

4 / Customized Road Trip Ornament ($25): Another sweet personalized ornament that you can give to someone who went on an epic trip (also works for someone who moved). 

5 / Zodiac Sign Constellation Necklace ($28+): I can’t get over how dainty and pretty these are. All you need to know is someone’s birthday and it feels totally unusual and sweet. 

6 / Ugg Slippers ($63-104): I bought these & can’t get over how much I love them. Incredibly soft & well made – plus you can buy $15 inserts to keep them fluffy forever (I’ve heard from people who’ve had ’em 8 years!). 

7 / Cheeky Mug ($18): A hilarious mug filled with candy, hot cocoa mix, or an adult beverage is always fun. Plus pants are super overrated.  

8 / Cozy Plaid Pillow Covers ($20 w/ code CHEER): Love that these are colorful & interesting enough not to feel basic, but they’d work with practically any sofa, armchair, or bed. 

9 / Faux Leather Tote with Matching Pouch ($49): I’m so into this cool metallic finish & that it’s two bags in one. Also comes in black, cognac, and a cool blue-gray. 

10 / Men’s Puffer Vest ($30): John loves this vest he got for himself this year and we even found a matching long-sleeve jacket ($14 today!) for our son. Fun fact: when they wear ’em together my heart explodes. 

11 / Wood Apple Watch Charging Stand ($42): When I asked John what he thought I should add to this gift guide, this is the first thing he sent me. Think it’s a hint? 

12 / Dainty Name Ring ($22 – 30% off today): Yet another totally personalized gift idea, and it comes in rose gold, white gold, sterling silver, etc. 

13 / Personalized Leather Keychain ($19): These stamped leather keychains come in tons of colors, and you can put someone’s nickname or even a place on it (like “Pink House” or “Smith Manor”)

14 / Bucket Tool Organizer ($29): Such a great gift for anyone with a home, pretty much. Suddenly you can carry 20 tools that would take 10 trips. 

15 / Wubby Fleece Pullover ($50 – 35% off today): I don’t think I need to explain why this cozy fleece pullover would be everyone’s favorite, but I’ll just say this: it’s like wearing a cloud (with pockets!). 

16 / Faux Leather Circle Clutch ($28): This is one of those items in your closet that pulls together tons of outfits and looks pricier than it is. That wood ring! Real leather! I’m smitten.

17 / Pocket Bluetooth Speaker ($20): I’d love a bluetooth speaker like this on the bathroom sink for blasting hiphop while I shower (comes in blue & gray). 

18 / Coffee Table Dominoes Game ($21 – 40% off w/ code CHEER): These are so beautiful and actually functional! I’d put ’em in a pretty wood bowl on the coffee table for impromptu games. 

Gifts For Kids

Once again we put things we actually own and love in here, along with stuff we’re buying our kids this year, or considering for other little cousins & friends. 

1 / Sailing Ship Kit ($42): Words can’t express how much fun this would be to hang in kid’s room – and it’s an actual kite, so it can come down and fly.

2 / Personalized Crayon Set ($13): It’s so much fun to open a box and see your name in crayons – especially if you have a name that isn’t always found on those premade signs and keychains! 

3 / Coloring Book Dress ($38): Who doesn’t want to color all over a coloring book dress and make it completely your own?! LOVE this!

4 / Instant Camera ($56): Such a fun way to get kids into photography, and see the world through their eyes! 

5 / DIY Ukelele Kit ($39): Our daughter’s actually learning the ukelele in school (no more recorder concerts! They switched!!!). She’d LOVE THIS. 

6 / Classic Lego Set ($28): Our kids have only ever had John’s hand-me-down Lego blocks from his childhood, so we love that they now sell these huge basic block sets (without the price markup for licensed characters!) 

7 / Ada Twist, Scientist ($15): We’ve already got Iggy Peck, Architect in our library and it’s GREAT. Next I want this one. 

8 / My Crazy Inventions Sketchbook ($14): We bought this book and our daughter filled it up with the coolest sketches & inventions – so great for imaginations & I’m keeping it forever. 

9 / Wreck This Journal ($12): We recently found a YouTuber who documented her entries in this interactive (and destructive!) journal. It’s full of fun prompts and such a cool concept. 

10 / Wooden Cash Register ($31): Pretend play is big at our house, so a cash register is one of those things that would get so much use. Love that it’s wood and has a scanner & a credit card you can slide. 

11 / Unicorn Robe ($30): My robe lovin’ self has rubbed off on our daughter and she’s asked for a robe for herself! I LOVE IT. 

12 / Dragon Slippers ($21): Not to be outdone in coziness, our son has dinosaur slippers that he wears nonstop. So as weird as it sounds, fun plush slippers can make a great gift! 

13 / Felt Donut Play Food ($9): So cute and under $10! Everyone loves a donut… and you’d be amazed how many of these their stuffed animals will “eat” ;)

14 / Bear Body Pillow ($15): A big cuddly pillow that doubles as an animal friend is always a good idea. 

15 / Unstable Unicorns Game ($20): This game says 14+ on box, but reviewers say 8 year olds enjoy it, so we think it’s a great option for our Exploding Kittens-loving 3rd grader.

16 / Metro Wooden Blocks ($90 now – it used to be $150!): Ok, this is just about the coolest block set I’ve ever seen! And I love that it’s 40% off right now. 

17 / Custom Kid’s Letter Jacket ($26): How cute is this custom kids letter jacket?! Ours love anything with their names on them – and a jacket is so useful along with being fun. 

18 / Girls’ Charm Bracelet Set ($5):  Nostalgia forever!!! Our daughter has and loves her charm bracelet. And at $5 this one isn’t too precious.

Here’s my favorite list to make each year, just because I’m always amazed at how many budget-friendly things are out there that’ll make so many people smile BIG. 

1 / Hex Tile Monogram Mug ($10): These are basically the beach house master bathroom in mug form! Fill ’em with candy or cocoa mix & marshmallows and they’re great gifts!

2 / Lumps of Coal Dog Treats ($5.50): Can’t forget our favorite four-leggers and these dog treats shaped like lumps of coal made me snicker. 

3 / Gold Palm Picture Frame ($10.49): Giving someone you love a personal photo (of their kids, you guys together, etc) in a lovely frame is always a hit. I’m also loving this scalloped bone frame ($10.49). 

4 / Plaid Frame Ornaments ($3.99!!!): Such a great grandparent gift with a photo of you or your kids or even some art they’ve drawn. We give them to both of our parents every year. 

5 / Mini Kitchen Tool Ornaments ($12.99): So cute for the chef or the baker in your life! The little wisk kills me. 

6 / Triple Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix ($9): These make such great neighbor gifts. Just wrap a ribbon around the lid and you’re done!

7 / Beard Oil ($14.99): John’s a die-hard beard oil enthusiast. So if you know and love someone with a beard, give ’em some and watch their face light up with joy. 

8 / Pink Resin Hoop Earrings ($12.99): I love the cool shape of these & they come in other colors (also love the white & the tortoise ones!)

9 / Question-A-Day Five Year Journal ($11.55): If you wish you journaled more, this makes it easy and shows you how much can change over 5 years. It’s lots of fun to go back and read it. 

10 / Faux Leather Crossbody Bag ($12 – down from $25): I have a camel colored crossbody bag this size and it’s still going strong! Goes with everything and I love the little latch hardware on this one. 

11 / Faux Fur Pom Pom Beanie ($9 down from $22): I love a little knitted winter hat with a pompom (surprise I have one just like this in black). 

12 / Sprinkle Ice Cream Cups (4 for $4.97!!!!): I love gifts that you pair with something fun – so these cups all nested with a little container of sprinkles inside would be so sweet. And you can’t beat the price!

13 / Rainbow Catnip Seed Bombs ($14.95): I love the idea of planting these outside (or inside in a pot) to show your cat a good time. They also sell sets to grow wildflowers or herbs which also make good gifts.

14 / Nesting Heart Tray Trio (3 for $4.99!!!): Such a sweet gift for someone to put near the kitchen or bathroom sink for their rings. They also work for tea bags if you serve tea a lot.

15 / What Do You Meme? Expansion Packs ($12.99): We have and love the original game ($29.99), so we’ve been considering adding packs like this Housewives themed one ($12.99) or this Mean Girls version ($12.99).

16 / Plaid Pet Leash ($10.49): Another gift for a four legged friend in your life, and I love the design of this one. Fancy pup. 

17 / Slim Wallet ($12.99): John bought this a few months ago and LOVES it. Keeps his pockets from getting too bulky, and it’s incredibly well reviewed. 

18 / Ugg Sheepskin Shoe Inserts ($14.95): I mentioned these when I linked to my Ugg slippers, but even if you don’t have them… YOU CAN PUT THESE IN ANY SHOES TO MAKE ‘EM COZY! Rain boots. Flat old slippers. Winter boots. Etc. It’s a lifehack for real.
