I just saw tour post about the elements and not having a picture of Little Star. If you wanted to, I'd absolutely love to do a (free) comission of them! I've been dying to know what the little one looks like!
THAT'S SO NICE!!!! Omg, you do NOT need my permission to draw your take on Little Star! 2 people have sent me concepts and ideas on their own take on the little scamp, but of course, it is up to the artist to share 😊
I am ALWAYS here for fanart of any kind of anything ever, i'm so honored and shocked anytime I get any!! And so grateful!! And I'm grateful for this ask!!! And the offer of a free commission, omgg,,that's so nice.
I was going to get a commission of LS done, but...I actually like seeing what other people think! If you do decide to draw something, please tag me or message me! I'd love to scream at you about it (positively).
And here's the reference ask for Little Star's appearance that I did once. They're just a little rascal, idk what else to say.
#ask cloud#this is SO NICE thank you!!!#the fact that you'd take time just to draw little star..........wow#i did not expect this little monkey to have so many fans#i love them and i'm glad others do too#despite the lack of them actually appearing in constellations

"ʟᴏᴏᴋ ᴍʏ ᴡᴀʏ."
[ꜱᴇɴᴋᴜ x ɢɴ!ʀᴇᴀᴅᴇʀ]
It wasn't really a secret. You didn't even try, honestly.
Since the first of times of where you'd glimpsed his face at school, to the latest catch of him swirling fluid in a beaker, you've always been confident in your feelings.
Albeit a bit clumsy in your attempts, you were honest, never mincing them, never embarrassed.
"Senku, I really really like you!"
"Yeah, okay, could you pass me that screwdriver?" he says, both of you 6 years old in his room, as he gestures to the tool beside you.
"Senku, I want to date you. I heard Aimi had a boyfriend recently and I was thinking-" your voice goes interrupted as the loud sound of Senku's machinery overpower yours. 13 years old, another one of his favorite past times.
"Senku, if we were both nobles in medieval fantasy and I had to marry someone in order to get a persistent suitor off my back, I'd go to you. Offer a contract with an eventual divorce, but then we fall in love in a slow burn romance and start rethinking about our agreement."
"Can you- just- HELP ME, DAMN IT." Senku heaves, 16 years old, face turning red as he struggles to hold the boxes of equipment you came to help him with.
All these confessions, all these words, even before everything changed. The clatter of a can hitting the ground.
...
In this new life, surely, you know, Senku's had an absolute goal for this world. To rebuilt it as it was, from his own two hands. In your own way, you've had to learn how to pace your feelings.
Instead of words, as you always did, you decided to translate your affections into a language that matters most in a time like this.
Actions.
For every problem, every step he takes, you take with him. Express your thoughts, concerns, ideas. Any progress, you're there to celebrate with, any process, you're there to assist.
Declarations of love aren't so frequent, though you do like to sneak it in rarely. Announcing it in bursts of passion at the top of your lungs. Quite an antic you do, much to his embarrassment. It's become a well known fact, and often a joke between company.
Though, sometimes you wonder if it's what makes him doubt it. Your overt confessions, cheesy poems and bustling energy that could rival Taiju's. Was it too clumsy? Too obvious that he feels it's an exaggerated farce for show?
To this, you whisper gingerly in the dead of night, in the earliest of mornings,
"Senku. I really really like you."
In the times of uneventful hours, peacefulness in comfortable silence,
"Senku,"
You know, of course you do, of all people.
No one knows him more than you and that fact would've made you happy of such a thing if it couldn't break your heart more. The love of your life, saying everything said in a language that matters most in this time.
An unreadable glance. When the sun beams down brightly and you stare at him lovingly like he's hung the stars in the sky.
Winter strikes mercilessly, days are rough, tensions are high. When everything's all good and done, a bold pinkie inches towards his own. He doesn't pull away, but his hand moves back just as further.
Late at night, behind the tree he leans upon, watching, just watching. His ruby eyes enraptured by the night's celestial pearl.
Gaze too high, to see you.
You close your eyes.
You don't think you can ever stop loving him, despite that. That man doesn't like dragging things out, so you're sure a rejection is soon to come. Whether you approach first or not.
Why he doesn't do it sooner? You know why. As much as he doesn't reciprocate, you know how hesitant he is when it comes to close relationships such as you. Is he scared of breaking your friendship?
It's not the warmth you're looking for, but it's the warmth you can get. Even so, you would never expect him to return just as much as you've given. You love him for him, and not for anything else.
Tragic, how terribly you do.
Maybe one day, you'll learn to forget, to move your heart from where it isn't supposed to be. Maybe one day, you would stop gazing at him with something much more than fondness, waiting for his eyes to find its way back to you.
But until then,
"-I love you."

AOT ~ First date H/C's
NSFW included. 18+
Levi, Erwin, Jean.
Coming soon;
- Reiner, Porco, Pieck. Eren, Armin, Connie. Hange, Zeke, Miche.
- More Fallout content
Remember I am always open to requests 🗣️
Levi;
"You. Meet me tomorrow at five and we'll do something. Just the two of us. Which means I don't want any of your flunkies following us around."
Levi asking you on a date is something he's been pondering and sitting on for a while. He wanted to be sure. Also, it was definitely more of a demand.
Levi is not one to do these things casually. He asked you because he sees potential with the two of you. One that can be worked around your career's of Titan slaying.
Of course when he first laid those steely Grey's on you, he was intrigued but kept at a distance.
As time flickered by his desire to get to know you more in a private setting grew, so he knew it was time.
Obviously he isn't going to wear his uniform, and you're surprised to see him dressed like the fancy ass he is; with his jacket and cravat.
He smells devine. He bathed before he got dressed, in oils and petals (Old ways of using bubble bath I guess)
Levi takes you somewhere high class to eat. One you're not extremely comfortable in, being used to your humble and basic living as a soldier. But it doesn't take much for him to help you relax as he explains he used to feel the same; but working and living in such ways definitely merits a treat from time to time.
He asks a lot of questions. Not in a way it seems like he's prying. He just wants to know you better. Where were you born? What are/were your family like? What interests you? How good are your hygiene practices?
He doesn't talk much about himself. That is for a waaaay later time.
After you've eaten (Which he insisted he pays for) he takes you for a walk around the town as you continue talking.
He's a really good listener. He takes everything in and makes mental notes of certain things.
He walks you back to the barracks. He makes sure it's somewhere no one will wander by.
"I enjoyed having dinner with you. If you'll allow me, I'd like to take you out again one day soon."
This time it's less of a demand. The tiniest smile pulls at one corner of his mouth when you say yes.
Levi won't kiss you on the first date. Don't kill me. He just wouldn't. He bides his time with these things and likes to be totally sure of someone.
But when he does, it'll be fantastic.
He'll just simply take a step closer to you, his eyelids heavy as he stares at your lips, wrapping one arm around your waist and pulling you against his chest.
He'll wait for your reaction. If you don't pull away then that's when he'll go in for the kill, his lips hungrily yet slowly devouring yours.
- NSFW -
When the time comes where you both feel ready to take things to a more physical level... Wow. That pretty much sums it up.
The passion though. Thinking about it is making me weak at the knees.
You're one hell of a special (and lucky) person to be in bed with Levi fucking Ackerman.
He will not hold back. All this wanting you from day one but restraining himself most certainly pays off, big time.
He'll be slow and sensual, mapping your body with his mouth and remembering all the areas that seem more sensitive. Oh, that nip of the teeth behind your shoulder made you gasp? He'll stick a mental flag in there.
Dexterous with his fingers and tongue, he'll eat you out with your legs over his shoulders. He likes to be able to slide his fingers in nice and deep.
You're his now. You sealed that contract the moment your clothes fell to the floor. And because you're his, he's going to show you that no one else will ever make you feel as good as he will.
He'll fuck you all night. He'll have you whimpering, quivering, begging... Your legs will be weak for hours after all the shaking while he makes you cum again and again and again.
Erwin;
"I would be honoured if you would accompany me to dinner tonight."
Erwin Smith would ask you on a date in the same fashion some knight would ask a fair maiden.
You have to be pretty f'ing special to catch the commanders eye and you have done for a while now.
You can tell he hangs out with Levi a lot because he takes you to the same fancy restaurant as Levi would take you to.
But when you meet up with the commander and he is waiting for you, a beautiful bouquet of flowers in hand... Your heart (and pants) just melt.
Erwin will lavish you with compliments. He'll make you feel like a total queen.
"You look... Amazing, Y/N"
"The colour of that dress contrasts your eyes beautifully..."
Erwin would be willing to kiss you on the first date. He would start by kissing the back of your hand as you're about to say goodbye, his eyes looking up and sharply piercing into yours.
He's intelligent. He' knows body language and from that kiss on the hand he will know if you'd be comfortable with a more intimate kiss.
If you are, he'll ever so gently cup your face with one of his large hands and softly press his lips against yours, closing his eyes and pulling you in close.
He handles you like some delicate flower at first. A gorgeous being that he doesn't want to soil with his dirtied hands from all hes done over the years.
- NSFW -
Erwin Smith in bed though... He will be mind blowing, no doubty 'bouty.
He will relax you with fine wines, not so you get drunk but so you're comfortable, warm and at ease.
He'll start by kissing you deeply, his hands running tantalisingly close to your crotch as he explores you.
He'll dead set pick you up, bridal style, and carry you to his bed.
Erwin is an extremely passionate lover, his kisses are hungry yet soft. Soft yet firm at the same time. The room would quickly become steamy as he discovers you with his mouth and hands.
As soon as that long, thick dick enters you, there's no turning back. Ever.
It hits every single spot perfectly without much effort, but by god's does he put the effort in, making it that much more insane.
Erwin takes you slow for the first time. Not only does he use this to gather intel on your preferences but he wants to slowly get you adjusted to his beast of a cock.
Jean;
"So I uh... Was wondering if you weren't doing anything later if you'd... Wanna grab some food? You know... Just the two of us?"
Jean would have a crimson hue etched over his face when he asks you. He's a little more shy than Erwin and Levi.
"Are you asking me on a date, Jean Kirstein?" You'd tease.
He'll pull himself together. "Yeah. As a matter of fact... I am."
A date with Jean would be so lovely. You two would go get food, go for a walk and stargaze; laughing, joking and having deep conversations the entire time. Never would you fall into an awkward silence.
Hand holding. Definitely. He would adore holding your hand and showing you off, not to mention being able to have your satin soft skin touching his.
You'll hold hands while watching the stars, the end of the night drawing near. This is when he'll make his move.
His heart will be thudding in his ears and his palms will begin to get a little damp.
But darn it, he's wanted this for so long he refuses to screw it up.
Since you're both lying down he'll roll over onto his side and just place his hand on your face, gazing down at you in awe.
He waits for your reaction.
After a few moments he lowers his head and inhales deeply through his nose as your lips connect and you slide your tongue into his mouth.
He's doing the most goofiest victory dance in his head right now.
- NSFW -
Jean is nervous as hell but also very excited, trembling slightly as he kisses you and lays you down onto his bed.
This lovely lad will take care of you so well, in more ways than one.
He adores wrapping his arms around you protectively when you're being intimate. He would die for you and this certainly comes out in how he fucks you.
Or most of the time, makes love to you.
He praises you a lot, totally unbelieving he has you and how lucky he is.
Firm caresses, a lot of gasping and pants holding your hand and deep kisses.
You'll give a whole new meaning to "Horse face" because you'll bloody ride it like one.
He's amazed by you the entire time as well as afterwards. Jean is a 10/10 good boy and his aftercare is second to none.

FRIENDS FOR A DAY (2)
pair: yeonjun x reader
genre: fluff
word count: 2654
parts: 1 | 2
· · ───────────── ·.☆.· ───────────── · ·
It had been a long time since Yeonjun felt like this. Sometimes life in general had become too much to bear and the things that used to make him happy weren't working for him anymore. Times spent alone slowly became more frequent for him than times he'd spent with his friends.
He'd skipped the first day, not wanting to go back to that routine life just yet. And towards the start of the day, he would never have imagined meeting you and getting to spend the day doing things that strayed far from any of the schedules he'd previously planned. A breath of fresh air was what he liked to call it, and he had you to thank for that.
Unlike him, everything was new to you; a new city, a new school, new people, and a whole new life ahead. Yeonjun felt a little envious after realizing it when you'd talked more about yourselves during lunch, but after seeing how you seemed to enjoy every single second of your little sight seeing endeavor, he thought that maybe he could also be a part of something new in your life.
Best friends.
You had agreed to be his best friend from today onwards; the pendant around your neck serving as proof. Yeonjun finds his hand wandering over to his pocket, holding on to his old necklace.
Half of a star. He'd bought it a few years back. The necklace had a similar purpose with the one he was wearing now— meant to be worn separately by two different people. In his case, he had bought it as a whole and had decided to keep one half of it still in its case, stashed inside his closet. His reasons for purchasing it never really felt clear even to him but he also wouldn't call it an impulsive decision. Yeonjun liked to think that he'd be able to find a use for it in the future.
"Yeonjun." You call for his attention, pointing at the posters plastered on a random shop's wall. "It says that the annual carnival will be opening tonight. Wanna go?"
Yeonjun grins. Opportunities somehow kept showing up right in front of his doorstep. "Yeah, only if you want to though. Afterall, I'm only the tour guide for today."
"Shut up." You hold back a smile. "Have you been there before?"
Yeonjun repeats the question in his mind. As someone one would consider pretty popular, you'd expect him to be no stranger in hanging out at fun places like an annual carnival, but that's just it. Yeonjun had never visited that Carnival once ever since it opened. His friends had asked him to tag along but something about it just never seemed to make him want to.
"No." Yeonjun answers, scratching the back of his head. "If we end up going then this would be my first time too." The first time he'd actually wanted to go.
"I guess we're going then." You grin and Yeonjun finds himself smiling back. "It says here that the Carnival's just around the corner so it'd probably be okay if we just walked there."
"Yeah."
The two of you make your way to the Carnival. You still had a good amount of time left before it opened so a few quick stops at some stalls along the way didn't do any harm.
· · ───────────── ·.☆.· ───────────── · ·
In all honesty, Yeonjun didn't even know when and how he'd ended up holding your hand, laughing his heart off by the time you arrived at the entrance but it all just happened somehow. Was it the when your ice cream cone almost landed straight on his shoe earlier? Or when his hand nearly hit you square in the face when he noticed a bug flying towards you? It could've even been when a group of old ladies started hitting on him at the handbag boutique and all you did was stand there shaking, wanting to laugh your ass off.
No matter what the reason was, he liked this. Somehow, it just felt right.
The two of you pay for the tickets before heading inside. The place was larger than any of you had ever expected, cleaner too. People of all ages were enjoying their carnival experience to the fullest. Children were running around with their guardians following closely behind, couples and groups of friends chatting along and taking pictures— Yeonjun could swear he saw two old men arguing over who gets to take a picture with the mascot first.
"So, which ride do you wanna go on first?" You ask, turning to him.
"Well, how about that one." Yeonjun points at the viking and you feel yourself getting more and more excited.
"NICE—" Before Yeonjun knew it, you were dragging him around to every single ride at the carnival.
You liked to keep count of everytime Yeonjun freaked out while you went on the rides, and Yeonjun liked to do the same. Despite the thrill of being at a carnival keeping you hyped up, there were a few times when you had overestimated your tolerance with being thrown around. Yeonjun nearly puked twice: once at the twister, and a second time on the rollercoaster. Even you were almost a victim by the rollercoaster's loops.
Yeonjun had claimed he was an expert at navigating haunted house attractions, stating, "I've been watching horror movies all my life. Nothing scares me at this point, tbh." True enough, nothing scared Yeonjun except every single ominous decoration and jump scares the haunted house threw at him. You weren't too fond of horror yourself, but you ended up trying to be the brave one after Yeonjun basically clung to you half of the time. It didn't help whenever you freaked out since you ended up losing Yeonjun after he not so subtly abandons you at the slightest suspicious sound. It was a miracle you made it out in one piece.
"Yeah, so, uh, sorry about that." Yeonjun laughs it off the moment you two got out.
"Sure but you should know that I'm never gonna let you live it down." You tell him, smiling widely as you hold up the photos you received from one of the staff. "I got evidence."
Yeonjun snatches the photos from your hands. "Bold of you to assume these'll affect me— oh." It definitely did.
You watch as he slips the photos inside his jacket as if it wasn't obvious enough that he was trying to hide it from you. "Nice try but," You take out another batch of photos and wave it around. "Boom. Two copies."
"Wow, okay."
The two of you ended up laughing at each other before you suggest in trying out the stalls. They say time flies by fast when you're having fun and they couldn't be more right. There had been an unspoken competition between you and Yeonjun of who can win the most prizes and let's just say you weren't about to let yourself lose. By the time you got tired, you had a total of three plushies and a bunch of candy bars stuffed in your pockets and well, Yeonjun had the exact amount of prizes you had.
"Fine. It's a draw for now but only because I'm tired." Yeonjun holds the plushies tighter. "We should really get a bag for this. I wonder if we can get a huge plastic bag somewhere."
"Nah, we can just put em in here." You take off your back pack, opening it wide. "I'm sure it can fit all six of them. They're small enough." You were lucky that they did, finally leaving your hands free.
"Wait." Yeonjun pauses after putting the last of his plushies inside. "How can I be sure you won't just take my plushies for yourself after we leave? I'm pretty easy to distract so—"
"If you forget to get them back then I'll just hand them to you tomorrow at school. You go to HSU too, right?" You tell him.
"Yeah, but how will you contact me?"
"Obviously, we exchange numbers."
Yeonjun blinks. Of course that'd be the simplest solution but still. He'd been talking about staying as friends even after all this but the thought of exchanging numbers hadn't really crossed his mind. He takes out his phone and the two of you quickly added each other as contacts, somehow feeling a bit closer after the exchange.
"While we're at it—" Yeonjun pulls you in closer as he bends down. Only now that you've felt Yeonjun's warmth close to you have you noticed how cold it actually was outside . It takes you a few seconds to register that he wants to take a few selfies.
You bust out a smile and tried to go along with whatever weird faces and poses he did. "Send them to me later." You say after examining the photos. There's one where Yeonjun mimicked a kissing motion near your cheek, making you smile. Who would've expected you two were total strangers up until a few hours ago.
"Got room for one last ride?" Yeonjun asks as you return his phone.
"Yeah, sure. Which one?"
"Don't ask as if you don't know. I'm pretty sure you left this one out on purpose."
Perhaps unconsciously, you did. In every single movie that involved the two characters going to a carnival, for some reason, they always left the Ferris Wheel for last. It's not like you wanted something grand to happen when you ride it, but more like you just wanted to get a good view of the entire carnival before leaving. It seemed like the perfect final attraction.
Yeonjun notices how you've gone quiet and decided to hold your hand, pulling you along. "Let's go before the place closes."
"Okay." You look up at him, nodding.
· · ───────────── ·.☆.· ───────────── · ·
The Ferris Wheel ride wasn't all you had expected it to be. It looked pretty slow in the movies but right now? You were about to puke.
"Yeonjun, wait." You hold on to Yeonjun who was sitting opposite to you.
The Ferris Wheel was going too fast to your liking and you started feeling dizzy. Getting a good view of the carnival seemed impossible at this point and looking at your partner made you even more miserable.
Yeonjun was having the time of his life. He loved the feeling in his stomach whenever the ride went down, and the fact that you were lowkey suffering right in front of him made him laugh even harder.
The speed went on for a few more rounds until it finally slows down. Your heart and probably everything else stilled once the ride came to a complete stop just as your car reached the top. "Thank God. I felt like I was going to die."
"Well, you're safe for now." Yeonjun grins, leaning back in his heat. "You wanted to enjoy the view, right? We'll be stuck here for probably about a minute or two so enjoy it while it lasts."
"Yeah." You smile back, looking outside the window.
The winds were colder up there, reminding you of how warm it felt when you stood close to Yeonjun earlier. Yeonjun catches you warming yourself up with your hands and chuckles. He takes off his jacket and hands it over to you. "Here, put this on."
"Thanks." You quickly put his jacket on. Usually you'd go for the polite route and turn him down but if you were going to continue this friendship business then you weren't about to suffer in the cold when the dude's practically handing you a solution.
Yeonjun gives you a little smile before you continue to admire the view. Down there, the lights almost looked like a sea of stars. The music around the place didn't really help set the mood but somehow, the mixture of it along with the laughter and delightful screams of the other visitors made it feel right. After everything that happened today, you felt like it was the right decision to end the day with this breathtaking sight.
And Yeonjun couldn't agree more. The lights below reflected in your eyes in a way that made the atmosphere lighter. He could tell you were happy and right now, that seemed to be enough for him.
The Ferris Wheel began moving. Yeonjun snickers as he felt you grab for his hand, worried that the ride might throw you off once more, but it didn't. The way down was slow, allowing you to enjoy the ride in peace. Your pendant started to shine, reflecting the lights. It reminded him of everything that happened, from the moment you two met and agreed on a friendship that would last for only a day, up until now where he held your hand on the Ferris Wheel after deciding to be friends for real this time. The pendant became the sole proof of that friendship and Yeonjun couldn't help but wonder if the ones he bought a few years back would truly be of any use in the future. But what would it symbolize for? Who knows, he might just give you the other half.
Your car comes to a stop and the doors open. The realization that the day has officially come to an end left you feeling disappointed. Yeonjun squeezes your hand, bringing your attention to him. He gestures for the two of you to get up and you do, finally stepping back on the ground.
Both you and Yeonjun felt that the way back to the entrance was too fast. It really did seem like the two of you wouldn't see each other again despite the fact you went to the same university. The thought felt silly but that's just how the carnival experience gets to you.
"I guess this is it." Yeonjun speaks up first. "You live pretty far from here, right? I can take you home if you want."
"It's okay. My cousin lives nearby and I texted her earlier that I'd be staying over." You tell him, not wanting him to worry. "How about you? Will you be alright on your own?"
"Yeah, definitely." Yeonjun reassures, holding up his hands. "Oh, and by the way. Is it okay if I leave the plushies on your bag for now? I can't exactly carry them on the way back. If it's ok with you."
"Don't worry. You can just take them back tomorrow." You grin and Yeonjun smiles back. "Also, I'm keeping your jacket for now. I'll return it after I clean it up."
"I can work with that." He shouldn't feel this happy but he did. In a way, he was able to find an excuse to meet up with you tomorrow without things getting awkward. Maybe this friendship could work out afterall.
"Thanks for today. Honestly, this was the most fun I've had ever since I got here." You say, taking one last look at him.
I should be the one to thank you. "You know, I have a lot of things I wanna say to you right now but I think I'm gonna wait until I feel like it."
"Huh?"
"Nothing. I'll text you later." Yeonjun gives you a quick pat on the shoulder before running off to the opposite direction. "See you at school! And don't forget to bring the kids!"
You raise a brow. Did he just refer to the plushies as his kids?
He felt dumb, running away from you. The longer he stayed, the more he had trouble leaving, which was new for him. It's been a while since he actually found someone he'd like to hang out with and he was having trouble controlling his excitement. Soon, you'd be able to visit each other's houses, hang out more freely, talk about your days as if it were nothing, and get to know each other more. Honestly speaking, Yeonjun couldn't wait for that day to come but I guess he'll just have to start with tomorrow.

Prompt: Night before Rhett goes to Slovakia. (cause i don't think i've ever read anything like that and i know you'd kill it because you're awesome.)
I’m sorry it took me so long to get to this! I hope you like it. ^^
—-
Link sat on the bed of his father’s truck. He was drinking a Coke, hoping that he could be enjoying something stronger. He would have welcomed the liquid encouragement. But he was driving, so he had to settle for the fizzy drink. It was a warm night, but there was a little breeze that tickled the back of Link’s neck. Link had always enjoyed the beginnings of summer in North Carolina, when the temperature was still pleasant and the months of vacation were still ahead. At the beginning of June, it always felt like anything could happen. That the warm summer nights held a promise of better and more exciting things to come. Link sighed. He didn’t feel like that tonight.
Rhett was late. Link had been waiting for half an hour and he was getting increasingly annoyed. It was their last night together before Rhett left for Slovakia and every minute Rhett wasn’t there with him felt wasted. Link threw his head back and let the final drops from the can drip into his mouth. Despite the sweetness of the drink, he tasted the sourness of his mood. He twirled the emptied aluminum in his hand and stared through the trees. Between the branches, he could see slivers of the Cape Fear river.
It had been a long time since they’d been here. Last summer probably. Link’s mind wandered to summers past, days spent on the river, swimming, sunbathing, reading and talking. Teasing each other and roughhousing. A smile sneaked into his lips. The memories played in his head, making him ache for lost days of their past. And then an image floated into the center of his mind. Rhett in his swimming trunks, hair wet and dripping to his tanned chest that glistened in the setting sun, his wide mischievous smile making Link’s chest warmer than any amount of summer sun ever could. Link’s heart constricted. A whole summer without Rhett. Link crushed the can in his hand. How was he supposed to cope?
Finally, he could hear the car, gravel road crunching under its tires as it approached. He should have felt relieved and happy that Rhett was finally here but all he felt was his annoyance peaking. Rhett parked next to him and jumped out.
“You’re late,” Link said, not caring that his voice was dripping with venom. Suddenly, his body was brimming with uncontrollable, angry energy.
“Barely. I had to pack,” Rhett looked annoyed too. He leaned against his father’s car and crossed his arms.
“Like you couldn’t have packed earlier. God, why do you always have to leave everything to the last minute!”
“We can’t all be perfect little planners like you,” Rhett huffed and looked away, brows furrowed, lips pressed together in a tight line. Link’s heart was thumping against his ribcage. He knew he was gearing up for a fight he didn’t want to have, not tonight, but he couldn’t help himself.
“Oh yeah? Like that’s a big character flaw? Ohhh, Link is such a planner. Wow, I’m so offended,” Link mocked, jumping down from the truck bed and walking towards the tree line. He wasn’t really going anywhere, he just couldn’t sit still anymore. He stopped, back against Rhett and tried to release the tension in him by kicking the gravel.
“You could lighten up sometimes. God, everything is so fucking serious with you. Can’t even take a joke anymore,” Rhett muttered.
“If that was a joke, you’ve really lost your touch, McLaughlin. Pathetic. No wonder you can’t get dates anymore,” Link spat with a hollow laugh.
“The fuck I can! What does that have to do with anything? I’ve just been busy recently…”
“Ohhhh, the famous womanizer has been too busy to date. Uh-huh. Checks out. When have you ever been too busy to chase tail? Ha!”
“Fuck you, Link!”
“Fuck you! God, I hate you so much!” Link was screaming now. His chest was on fire and the corners of his eyes burned from the tears fighting to escape.
“Well, that’s too bad, because I fucking love you!” Rhett growled from behind him.
Link’s stomach dropped and all the air escaped from his lungs. He felt dizzy. Rhett didn’t mean…? He could hear the gravel crunch again as Rhett walked up to him. He could feel him close, maybe an arms-length away. Rhett sighed heavily. Link’s whole body was shaking and his thoughts were a chaotic mess.
“Link,” Rhett’s voice was barely a whisper. Then Link felt a familiar hand lightly land on his shoulder. Everything after that happened in a blur. Suddenly, Link was in Rhett’s arms. Their lips met, hungry and desperate. Rhett’s hand wrapped around Link’s waist and all Link could do was marvel at how small he felt and how much he liked it. Rhett’s other hand was on Link’s neck, pressing him closer. Link’s hands wrapped around Rhett’s shoulder and then moved to his hair, tugging and pulling. He didn’t believe what was happening, not really, so he searched for tangible evidence to support the fact they were actually kissing. Rhett’s head leaned into the pull of his fingers and he moaned.
“I don’t hate you,” Link muttered against his lips.
“I know,” Rhett admitted and licked Link’s bottom lip before sucking it into his mouth, making Link whimper at the sensation. In a mess of limbs and sighs and stumbles, they moved towards the trucks. Link fumbled to get the picnic blanket from the supply crate as Rhett stood behind him and pressed little ticklish kisses into the back of his neck, arms wrapped around his waist. Link threw the blanket on the truck bed and climbed on. Rhett followed with a huff and dragged Link down on it with him. Their lips found each other again and for a good while they just enjoyed the simple pleasure of making out.
When Rhett’s mouth moved down, licking and biting on Link’s jaw and neck, he sighed and said:
“I’m gonna miss you so much.”
“Me too, bo,” Rhett muttered against his flushed skin.
“I mean, the whole summer. Why did you have to go now?” Link asked, not really expecting an answer.
“Because of you,” Rhett said quietly and pressed his forehead on Link’s shoulder.
Link froze for a second. Then his hands started to draw slow patterns on Rhett’s back.
“What do you mean?” he whispered. He wasn’t sure he wanted to know.
“I…I thought it would help. That the distance would help me stop.”
“Stop what?” Link pressed.
“Stop thinking about you. Stop fantasizing about. Stop pining for you. God! Just stop. I needed it to stop.” Rhett had let his full body weight drop on Link. He laid there, on top of him, cheek resting against Link’s chest. Link couldn’t help but to enjoy the feeling of being enveloped by Rhett this way. He felt small and safe. But he ached. Because of what Rhett was saying.
“Why do you need to stop? I don’t mind…”
“Link.”
“What?”
“We can’t.”
A chill set into Link’s stomach.
“Why?” he asked, chin wobbling.
“Think of our families. Think of our friends. I…I just don’t think it’s possible. No one would understand.”
“No one would understand we love each other? Rhett, I hate to break this to you, but everyone knows already.”
“That’s different. That’s normal. This…”
“This isn’t normal?” Link asked, feeling the hurt.
“You know what I mean.”
“No, Rhett. I don’t. I really don’t. There’s nothing abnormal about this! I love you. I want you. It’s the purest fucking thing I’ve ever felt. No one could convince me it’s wrong. And you know it too. You’re just scared,” Link suddenly felt strong and capable. If this was something he could do for Rhett, if he could be the strong one in this, for the both of them, he’d gladly do it.
“Link,” Rhett whined into his chest, his fingers grabbing onto Link’s shirt.
“It’s us, Rhett. Are you saying you could watch me marry someone else? Stand next to me at that altar and watch me say ‘I do’ to someone else while you know it’s you that I think about at night?”
Rhett shivered in Link’s arms.
“Could you?” Link repeated.
“No,” Rhett finally sighed. Link relaxed a little and kissed the top of Rhett’s head.
“Okay. So, we figure it out. Together.”
They laid there, wrapped around each other for a long time, both imagining the future that had just opened up in front of them. Then Rhett propped himself up on his elbows and looked at Link.
“I’m still going for the summer. I can’t back out now.”
“I know. God! It sucks.”
“Speaking of that,” Rhett said smirking and, with laughter in his voice, he dove for Link’s lips again. Link melted into him. They worked back to the fever pitch they’d been in before their conversation. It didn’t take much. Rhett’s touch was like napalm for Link. Rhett’s fingers left hot trails on his skin and his lips made him out of breath and lightheaded. When Rhett’s hand snaked down and pressed on his crotch, Link was sure he was about to pass out.
“Ohhhh, Rhett. I…I think I could cum from just kissing you,” Link muttered, feeling slightly embarrassed of the confession. Rhett chuckled.
“You don’t have to,” he whispered into Link’s ear. Link frowned, confused but soon Rhett’s words became quite clear. He disappeared from Link’s vision and Link felt his pants being roughly yanked down. His stomach did a somersault and he was about to ask if Rhett was sure he wanted to do this. But then a wet warmness enveloped his throbbing cock and he couldn’t think straight anymore. His vision blurred and he saw stars. A filthy moan echoed from the trees. He could feel Rhett’s smile against his hot skin and then Rhett sunk low, his head starting to move with purpose. Link whined and squirmed and lost his inhibitions. His mouth kept going, praising his best friend’s mouth skills between involuntary gasps. He was sure he had died and gone to heaven, because the sensation was otherworldly and the happiness in his chest was overwhelming. He came hard, bucking into Rhett’s mouth and whimpering Rhett’s name.
His high went on and on. Rhett returned next to him and Link pulled him into a deep kiss. He tasted himself and was surprised by how much he enjoyed the dirtiness of the gesture.
“You are the cruelest man ever to walk this earth, McLaughlin,” Link sighed when they finally separated. Rhett laughed.
“What do you mean?”
“You do that right before you leave for the other side of the world for three months.”
“Just making sure you don’t forget about me,” Rhett said, taking Link’s face into his hands and kissing his nose.
“That was never a possibility,” Link said smiling. He felt warm and soft and loved. It was the greatest feeling in the world.
“Anything else you wanna do before I go?” Rhett asked wiggling his eyebrows and pressing his bulging crotch against Link’s side. Link’s mouth suddenly watered and he felt the need rising in him again.
“Let’s see if I can make you remember me too.”

Hey, I want to say that I absolutely love your Jaime x Brienne moodboard AUs and cannot WAIT for Season 8 to kick off! I was watching Music and Lyrics the other day and was wondering if you'd done a moodboard for that yet? Because I think that would be amazing!
Hi anon, thanks for the lovely suggestion and for enjoying my moodboards! I love the movie to bits and pieces, it’s such a fun movie. Since I haven’t created a moodboard yet, it is now done. I hope it is to your liking:
Jaime Lannister is afailing musician. Back in his prime, his little brother and he started a kindof boyband, or a “mock band” as they called it, formed for the sole reason tospite their father and repay him for the unfair treatment particularly towardshis youngest son. Jaime played guitar, composed, and was the lead singerwhereas Tyrion took care of writing the lyrics, background singing, and themarketing behind the scenes.
Surprisingly, their mockband proved successful and soon they were actually superstars, gave concerts, landed on cover magazines and were offered dozens of contracts. In fact, theymade enough money to have a chance to break free from the family business, awelcome opportunity after Tywin threated to disown them both, should they continue“this utter folly any longer.”
However, things turnedsouth after that rather quicly: Jaime and Tyrion parted on very unkind terms, resulting in the younger brother going to Essos whereas Jaime remained in Westeros, with their mock band’s success soon no longer living up to its former glories.
Not wanting to crawl backto his family, Jaime decided to stay in the music business on his own andattempt a solo career. However, that didn’t work out greatly either, which lefthim under the belief rather fast that Tyrion was right with what he said to himbefore they parted – that Jaime never had any actual talent as an artist and hadonly ever been there for the looks. Then, Jaime got into an accident whileonstage, which left his right hand permanently damaged, thus making itimpossible for him to play instruments the way he used to.
In the present day, Jaimelets his not-at-all-too-great manager Bronn Blackwater run his business andorganize gigs in theme parks, furniture stores, and for mall openings where he performsthe old songs from the mock band all by himself.
Bronn surprises him withthe sudden job offer by rising star Daenerys Targaryen, a blonde beauty whocaused one sensation after another back in Essos, and now wants to launch hercareer in Westeros. She is invested in mixtures of modern beats with touches ofthe music of those places she visited on her journeys, including Dothraki folkmusic. Daenerys is looking for someone to write her a love song after she justrecently had to break up with her boyfriend Daario Naharis, to pursue her musiccareer in Westeros.
Bronn’s first attempts tofind Jaime a songwriter, since Jaime refuses to write songs, well aware that heis “not good with words,” quickly end in disaster when the man thinks his edgylyrics will do them any favors and insists on his artistic genius whereas Jaimejust finds that he is a pain in the arse.
His attention soon driftsaway from the self-absorbed guy over to the mannish woman who suddenly winded upat his apartment this very day to water his plants. She appears in place forhis old friend Catelyn Stark who normally volunteers to the task because shewants to check on him and Jaime just lets it happen so Cat won’t make noiseabout it. The blonde woman keeps humming along to the first music tunes Jaimestarted to put together, but soon makes up her own lyrics as she continues towater his plants – including those made of plastic – and Jaime must say: herlyrics are on point.
On a whim, he decides tofire the self-absorbed pain-in-the-ass songwriter and asks the woman carrying ablue watering can whether she wants to become a songwriter for him.
“… I don’t even know you. Iam just here to water some plants.”
“The name is JaimeLannister, pleased to meet you. And I think you drowned all of themsufficiently, Miss…”
“Brienne of Tarth, butBrienne’s enough.”
“Well, Brienne, then I’m just Jaime to you. So now that we are on firstname basis, how about you reconsider my offer? You would be paid real goodmoney and did I mention that you would be writing for Daenerys Targaryen?”
“I don’t know who that is.”
“She is the next risingstar in the music industry.”
“I honestly don’t know herand I should be on my way. Good day, sir, I mean… Jaime.”
And with that, shedisappears as fast as she came. Normally, Jaime would leave it at that and lookfor someone else, but time is scarce and he has to get that tape to DaenerysTargaryen as soon as possible if he wants to have any chance to get out of the endlesslimbo of mall openings and having his butt grabbed by way too eager fans. Thus,he continues to chase the woman, thankfully, Cat proves useful by providing himwith some information about her, though she cautions him that she is protectiveof her employee and won’t allow any harm to come to her.
“I wouldn’t ever. Cat, you knowme.”
“Well enough to know thatthis is right up your alley.”
“I thought you grew tobegrudgingly accept me.”
“Because you helped me getmy girls back. Other than that, I still consider you a nuisance at best.”
“You always have such nicewords for me, I feel blessed.”
Jaime eventually tracksBrienne down and confronts her about his offer another time, finding himselfalmost (but just almost) pleading herto at least give it a try.
“I need someone to writethe song for me.”
“But you are a musician. Youare a professional. Can’t you do that yourself far better?”
“I’m not a songwriter. Ican’t write lyrics for the life of it. I shit you not, I even struggled readingin school. C’mon, help a failing artist in need, wench.”
“What did you just call me?”
“I love old insults.”
“You are serious aboutthis.”
“As serious as someonefrequently showing up at furniture stores with sequined jackets can possiblybe.”
“Wow, you are desperate.”
“You have no clue.”
“Well, I suppose it can’tharm. And anyway, I still ought to water your plants.”
“They are all dead, buttheir sacrifice will be worth it so long you write this song for me.”
“They are all dead? What?”
“Well, the plastic ones arejust drenched. But that shouldn’t matter, we ought to get started. Now.”
And so, Brienne findsherself at Jaime Lannister’s apartment, pondering song lyrics for the veryfirst time in her life. It’s not like writing is at all unfamiliar to her. Backin college, she even took writing classes, always having felt an affinity forknightly tales already during childhoold. And of course there was that oneshort excursion into the life of an author, but that is something she won’tever revisit in a lifetime.
No thanks.
She remains surprised athow enthusiastic and eager Jaime is about her lyrics, which poses a starkcontrast to him being annoyed with her and her methods half the time, butBrienne finds that Jaime has to deal with that if he wants those lyrics fromher.
Though he won’t stopcalling her wench, no matter her insistence.
And Brienne must say, JaimeLannister is not at all what she first thought him to be, even more so aftershe watched some odd videos of hispast performances and finds herself dragged to one of his gigs in a theme parkshortly thereafter. Because Jaime did not lie about the women grabbing him in very inappropriate places. While he canbe a pompous ass, Brienne soon has to realize that beneath the sequined jacketsand easy smiles is a man who struggles with his identity as a musician afterhis injury made it impossible for him to compose the way he used to, thus beingforced to keep that old spark alive with playback tunes of the former mock band’sgreatest hits.
And oddly so, she findsherself relating to that. Because Jaime Lannister is not the only onestruggling with coming to terms with the past.
The deadline keeps drawingto a close, but they are making good progress. To celebrate, Jaime invites Brienneto have some dinner in his favorite restaurant just down the street when thingstake a sudden turn. Brienne storms out of the restaurant when she catches sightof a man enjoying dinner with some business friends, it appears. Jaime chasesafter her and has to tease it out of Brienne that she and the man in therestaurant have a history:
Some years back, Brienne workedat Renly Baratheon’s company as his personal assistant but soon grew to be hisright-hand woman, impressing with her writing talent that soon surpassed thoseof any other senior, something that did not sit well with most of thepredominantly male staff. Though Brienne didn’t really care in the beginning, since she joined to be around the man she was secretly in love with, she becamemore conscious of her position as she was more and more successful over time. However, then Brienne found herself caught up by sudden attention coming from anumber of co-workers who suddenly wanted to date her. One man went too farduring a team-building exercise, and she pushed him away, only for him to burnhis arse in a campfire. As a result, she was ordered to a mediation sessionwith him and personnel manager Randyll Tarly, the very same man currentlydining in the restaurant. When the guy threatened to sue for assault, Briennethreatened back with charges for sexual harassment, only for the man to saythat this was “not worth the wager.” It was thus revealed that he and the guyswho wanted to suddenly date her had a bet on who would get her to sleep withone of them first. Brienne thought Mr. Tarly would be on her side, but, despitehis insistence that he would have sanctions be handed out to the menresponsible, insisted that she certainly was to be held responsible for it aswell. What did she expect, as a woman in her position, taking up all thatattention?
That alone nearly brokeBrienne, but things just kept getting worse because Renly’s company had to filefor bankruptcy and he had to return back to Storm’s End. Not wanting to accept“defeat” and to go back to her father as utter disappointment, Brienne took theoffer Catelyn, a business partner she got to know through Renly, made her inthe aftermath. Thus, she departed from Bitterbridge and followed Cat to King’sLanding to start working for her instead.
Brienne spent most days inhiding thereafter, always feeling haunted by rumors about her, a circumstancethat found its epic peak when Randyll Tarly published a guidebook for personnelmanagers wherein he described “fictional cases,” at the heart of which stoodBrienne’s case. And the light he shed on her was not at all favorable, to saythe very least. To make matters impossibly worse, the book became a bestseller,as most people found Mr. Tarly’s dry and tough retellings oddly amusing.
“End of story.”
Brienne doesn’t want to goback into the restaurant at all, which is why she begs Jaime to just leave andgo somewhere else, but Jaime decides that it’s time she lives up to her ownbest example, being stubborn and brave past the point of sense at times, andfinally confront the man who brought her so much harm.
Brienne reluctantly agrees, but remains somewhat mute, until Jaime takes the lead and echoes what she toldhim, emphasizing how she is now a successful songwriter. Mr. Tarly lives up toany negative expectation Jaime may have had of the guy, revealing himself asthe cock he took him to be. Brienne is utterly shocked that Jaime comes to her defenseand understands just how much it hurt her, since she is so used that men expecther to always be strong and tough when deep-down, she could use some support, too. But Jaime gets it – and gives it to her when she needs it most.
In the aftermath, the twofall into bed together, or rather, under the piano, no longer able to denytheir burgeoning feelings for one another, no matter how dead Jaime’s plantsmay continue to be as a result of that union.
As things continue, Jaimealso finds himself opening up to her about how he ended up where he is now, howTyrion went behind his back to destroy his father’s company and that this wasthe reason why they broke up their partnership as fellow musicians and puttheir relationship as brothers on a hold.
Jaime admits he becamehesitant to compose, let alone write lyrics, after his injury, and after hissolo album flopped so badly that no one bought the last CD in the store downthe road for the past years – and he should know, he marked it. Jaime stuck toplaying the old songs because he doesn’t have to present anything new. Instead,he can just hit play button and make his audience happy.
It is Brienne who encourageshim to try again as a composer, to dare to be an artist again, after he came tobelieve that he never was one. After all, they will have to present somethingnew to Daenerys if they want to convince her. She also encourages him to takeadvantage of “the flaws” Jaime now finds in his music that come due to hisinjury, telling him that this is what she aimed at when she unsuccessfullypublished her own book as a struggle against Mr. Tarly that sadly failed, towrite flawed characters, and cherish their imperfections.
“That’s what makes theminteresting. That’s what makes them unique. And that is what makes your musicunique, too. I think you have to dare to tell your own story, because there issurely a lot to tell. But for that… you have to dare.”
The two make it at the verylast minute to deliver a decent song, and at last they meet the starletDaenerys Targaryen. While she likes the song and agrees to go with it, shedemands that they compose another verse.
As the two continue to worktowards the new deadline, they enjoy their blooming romance, but drama is justaround the corner when Jaime finally meets Daenerys’s manager – namely hisformer manager, Tyrion.
The younger man actuallypushed some buttons to get Jaime on Daenerys’s list because he hoped to takethat as a starting point to renew their relationship, but Jaime feels all themore betrayed because he does not need his brother’s pity.
“You made clear that youthink I don’t have talent, but if you think that pitching me as a partner foryour client only just to get closer to me again, then you are perhaps not thebest manager after all.”
“I am honest about this.”
“You knew that I was andwon’t ever be a gifted songwriter. That was always you, not me. So why assignme to a task involving such to repair our relationship? Why embarrass me likethat?”
“Because I… I was wrong andwanted to show you that you were never without talent. It’s something I saidout of anger, to piss you off. And I stopped writing songs long time ago.Daenerys writes her own. I am just… a shitty manager, it appears.”
“Well, I don’t need yourpity points. I managed without you, even after you abandoned me.”
Jaime feels like cancellingthe entire plan for a while, and is surprised when Brienne isn’t in the leastmad at him but shows understanding for his situation, actually supporting himwhatever decision he may make. While she insists that she believes what theycreated thus far is better than just “pity points,” she will respect hisdecision, so long he commits to it. Jaime eventually agrees to carry on and thetwo get back on track to finish the last verse.
They are invited to seeDaenerys before the deadline, who says she did some adaptations to the songsshe would want them to hear, but neither one can say they are particularlyimpressed.
“I believe this is thesound of a Dothraki wedding, and those are scary as hell, involve sex andpotentially murder,” Jaime whispers at Brienne, though he won’t say so out loudwhen Daenerys wants to hear their opinion, declaring how proud she is of theproduct since it is a way for her to “honor” her “heritage.”
Brienne wants to tell herthat she finds the song horrid, but Jaime prevents her from it, something thatupsets her very much since Brienne always lives by the paradigm of honestyforemost. However, Jaime says that she asked him to commit, and he committed tohave that album produced.
“If we tell her that thisis shit, I will get fired and we end up with nothing. Then all of this will befor nothing.”
“You wanted to call it off before!”
“Because of my brother. Thatwas something entirely different.”
“And not because theproduct is bad? I thought you wanted to finally become an artist in your ownright.”
“Well, maybe that’s just asfar as I will ever get. Ever crossed your mind? I also have to pay a rent, youknow? And who knows, maybe other arrangements will follow after I get my footback into the door of the industry. You told me I should stop standing still, and now you tell me to do just that. You have to make up your mind at somepoint.”
“You are craven.”
“Well, that’s rich comingfrom a woman who spent her entire career in hiding. First under Renly, thenunder Cat. You could be so much more if you finally stopped tailing afterpeople who treat you with no more than basic human decency. You knew Renlywouldn’t love you back, and yet you stayed. Why? Because you hide away as muchas I do. Because you are afraid of actually… being in love.”
“I did love him. What are you saying?”
“You loved him because itwas safe from a distance. You had some bad experiences with those guys, but notall are like that. You hide away from love because you are afraid of people’simperfections. Because no one will ever match those knights you write about. Becauseyes, I read your book. I bought it like you bought my last CD.”
Brienne is all the moreshocked, not having anticipated that suddenly, this conversation would be aboutthem as a couple the same way it is about them as partners in the production ofthis song.
“You told me you embracedthose flawed characters. I read every single page. That guy? He is bloody wellall that you thought Renly was to you. Flawed characters don’t have happyending stories, Brienne. They don’t realize how wrong they were all along andfinally go for the girl who’s hidden in the shadows. They make mistakes, a lotof them. They sometimes love so much that it hurts. You are in love with afantasy of what love is, but you wouldn’t know what it is if it bit you in the arsebecause you can’t even bring yourself to love yourself despite or ratherbecause of your flaws. So really, get off your high horse and stop blaming mefor not living up to the fantasy of a man you will never meet because he is notreal. This industry is no fairytale, we are no characters in this fairytale. Thereality is that I am trying my best, but if that is not good enough for you, then maybe you should see whether your expectations, in any way, match realityof… life, not fiction.”
“Why are you saying that?”
“Because I am not Renly.Because I am no knight in shining armor. I am a failed musician who is holdingon to his career by a single thread who listened to you and now is getting shitfrom you because he is doing just what you told him to do.”
“I told you to commit.”
“And I commit to my career.”
“You commit to thisbullshit she calls a song.”
“Because that is thebusiness.”
“Which is why I can’t everbe a songwriter, I fear.”
“I fear so, too. Because theenvironment wherein you can live and never eat some crow along the way, acceptsome missteps, is, in fact… nothing but fiction.”
Brienne storms out afterthat, leaving Jaime to finish the verse by himself, even though that provesnearly impossible, considering that all he can think about is Brienne. To hissurprise, Brienne forwards the last verse to Daenerys to save his career, whichmakes him feel doubly bad for how they parted and what he said to her. However,it may be true that their fantasy is over and they played their final song.
Or maybe not?
