Announcing: EXPANSION.
A spiritual successor to DISCIPLINE and a love letter to splort, EXPANSION is our sonic tribute to @blaseball's Expansion Era. Join us as we revisit the tumultuous ride from the bright-eyed optimism of Peace and Prosperity to the frenzied desperation of the Expansion Era's last moments. Replicas, floods, floating point errors—they're all in here, packed into another double album that's 100% totally just about everyone's favorite splort.
For a variety of reasons, EXPANSION will be a purely digital release (so, no vinyl). It's had just as much work put into it, though, clocking in at 21 songs by 15 songwriters and innumerable more musicians and producers. Doing it this way also means those songwriters, musicians, and producers haven't been contained by things like "vinyl time limits."
This is a labor of love over two years in the making. We're so excited for when we'll finally be able to share the whole record with you all.
For now, we bring you a single: Here's Shark Hunter.

Since JJK has a satisfying ending in 5 chapters,
I have renewed hope for my (Yuuji-centric) cryogenic domain theory. Maybe we'd see the reanimated sorcerers team up with Sukuna against the merger? Which sounds too predictable for Gege - there has to be some crazy twist. (also mentioned here and here).
Another direction could be a Heian era time travel (hear me out)
-Nobara has an awakening (like Gojo) from her near-death experience (she died and Nitta resuscitated her)
-the last fingie of Sukuna is still there (for Nobara to use her new technique on)
-the prison realm is also available (And Hakari even mentioned using it for time travel - - not to mention the?? Chapters he's spent calmly with Uraume. What are they talking about? Uraume was explaining Sukuna, from what I recall, and likely telling Hakari about their past lives, maybe some dirt on kenjaku). Uraume could have some special cursed object around, too.
Normally I would say that time travel is not a satisfying ending, so it doesn't count.... But to see the sorcerers travel back to the Heian era would be interesting.
Tbh since the moment Gojo got sealed, I expected him to break out. As the shibuya incident dragged on, I thought he'd get bored in there and figure out a way to manipulate time (idk physics very well but if he can manipulate space, why not time, you know? Math or whatever it is).
Through the culling game arc I let go of my time travel theory - until Hakari mentioned it with the prison realm and I lost my mind.

if ashrah is a cambion and can take human form anyway, what if datusha promising her that absolution could make her human is actually a lie and its all a placebo effect? what if she FEELS like shes becoming human so her body just takes the form it feels best embodies where she is on her journey to absolution but in reality shes just as demonic as shes always been ?
and this could be why ashrah also states she feels like absolution is just out of reach. datusha is just dangling it in front of her

Sukuna ‘s technique
sukuna ‘s technique that he is probably going to use next chapter is seasoning based
so far his technique is a secret. I have come up with a theory.
We are familiar with cleave and dismantle.
in the recent chapter he opened his domain and we get to see his fire powers.
it is obvious that his ct is cooking based. It is also clear he was a cannibal in heian era
even his domain is malevolent kitchen.
so his domain is a kitchen where he uses cleave and dismantle to cut his food , and uses fire to cook food.
the only thing missing is the seasoning.
so what if his hidden ct is actually seasoning based? leaks come out tomorrow ,so let us see if i was right.

You have no idea how long I’d been waiting for a tech team. Stuck in the middle of a freeze never felt good but it was worth the wait when a red/orange-colored team snuck out of the blue into the open. The original core mechanics logo is by Khauss/neonrunes and I’m not sure if they own a tumblr.

my tears of the kingdom dlc wishlist in no particular order;
dungeons not related to the immediate story that have unique bosses but give you fun items that give you different perks
more outfits
an option you can select on the main menu after you've completed the game by beating ganondorf at least once where you get a segment of post game content that acts like an epilogue
either two new quests like a call from the depths, or eight new shrines, or two new dungeons with heart containers to even out the health bar/stamina wheel
a side adventure where you help a team of different folks build new settlements in select areas of hyrule, possibly even the depths
a flying construct in the vein of the master cycle that people can earn that never disappears, is easy to control, and doesn't eat up your battery as fast as fans typically do
a side adventure/whole dlc pack that delves into the hero referenced in botw from 10,000 years ago on the mural and in the hero's aspect
a side adventure where cece hires link to hunt down the culprit who has been making knock-offs of her clothing brand, and it turns out to be the yiga as a money-making scheme

me, hyped up about Star Trek Enterprise again after finishing my beloved season 3: I wonder if there are any posts about it on tumblr *searches*
me, twenty minutes later, closing the results: ah. I see. it has suffered from fandomification, where fans threw out canon and replaced it with fanon. one hundred and thirty seven polls asking "what was your first/favorite star trek" and it is at the bottom of every one. this between 14million other posts about every other star trek series. some funny memes thrown in for ~flavor~. great. wonderful. I'll just go back into my happy little corner with my parents who unironically enjoy the show with me then.

i get on a conceptual level what tgb is trying to do with this new era; its all happening again, with a bit of a twist, and familiar old faces and game mechanics are being belched from the black hole periodically to introduce things from expansion/discipline. that's, like, fine. or it would be, if the site wasn't so fucking barebones. it has less stuff than early discipline era did; no shop, so no snake oil to work toward, no sense of progression with that. no popups telling you what you won from games you bet on. they only just added post-game summaries earlier, but you still can't see them most of the time unless you are actively watching bcos you just can't go to that tab after all the games are over. no passive income at ALL. its just, frankly, mind boggling how many quality of life features they removed. i really hope they fix it soon, bcos this will contribute to fan burnout more than 24/7/364 games ever could
