Our genuine advice to anyone who Makes Things is to stop putting yourself down. That's it - just don't put yourself down. We know it can seem hard, but trust us, presentation is important - you've gotta keep from talking your stuff down, you've gotta keep from being rude to yourself, you've gotta keep from being rude to your own work!
Even jokey self-deprication seeps into your brain after a while - we should know! We're still breaking the damn patterns! If you talk down about your work, then eventually you start believing it - you genuinely think your work sucks, because you say it, and your brain echoes that, and that's not a fun space to be in!
Plus, if you're captioning your works like that, it'll seep into your viewer's brain, too. No matter how unsure you are about your work, you still have to treat it like it's good. If you're rock-solid certain it sucks, then just don't caption it - let it speak for itself! The human brain is a horrid little pot of gravy that learns and sticks to patterns, and you have to keep it from digging itself into a rut.
You're the hottest person in the room. Everything you make fucks. You're the best author and the best artist and the best guy who makes things, and you have to say that about yourself or the self-doubt will creep in to all the little cracks and try to fuck you up worse. It might feel fake! It will feel fake at first! It will get better with every repetition. You will get better with every repetition. You just have to get out there and start hyping yourself up.
You are your own biggest fan. Treat yourself like an artist you like, and eventually you'll be an artist you like.
#we speak#listen like half of our life advice boils down to just#you need to start being your own biggest fan bc if you dont hype up everything you do then you cant expect anyone else to do it for you#the energy you put out echoes! you reap what you sow and you have GOT to be more self absorbed bc no one else is gonna do it for u#we are the sexiest person in the room at all times and every time we say it it becomes more true#and unfortunately it is impossible to be sexier than us but you can be AS sexy as us by acting like you and everything you makes amazing#anyways a lot of people have been v self depricating lately so we are grabbing them and telling them to be more confident#literally does not matter if its fake or not. u can start committing confidence fraud now and it makes u cool as hell#having passion in smth will always make u a more likeable person than if u talk things down#being confident about literally everything u do is the first priority being spiteful and petty comes later#if people on tumblr dot com find you annoying that is their problem and they can block u if they dont wanna see it

Tonight
Chapter 8: Total Eclipse of the Heart
Pairing: Rowena x reader
Characters: Rowena, reader
Summary: It was supposed to be a happy, carefree outing. After tonight, however, nothing will ever be the same for you and Rowena.
A/N: Huge thanks to @lordhellebore for helping me with Latin!
Editor: @rowenaisfabulous
EARLIERâŚ
For a few moments everything was quiet. A cold, deafening calm settled on the nightclub. Not even a breath could be heard, or a heartbeat. Nothing. As if time had frozen, enveloped the world into stillness.
Then Rowena screamed, the magic that had built up inside of her tearing free. Bursting from its prison, finally unleashed. Wild. Unpredictable. Deadly.
She'd saved up spells for this very moment. Rehearsed them in her mind, went over every word of Latin, and made sure her pronunciation would be perfect and to the point. Yet, now that she was finally unchained, finally free of the iron that contained her, it was as if her mind were a blank, wiped clean of everything but one word: die.
She wanted the hunters to die. Wanted the Lumberjack and especially Mike to die. Painfully. Brutally. She wanted them to suffer, to spend their last moments in agony, for what they did â what they all collectively did â was unforgivable. They needed to pay.
All those lives lost. Your body wounded and mind broken. Rowena's heart shattered. All because of them.
They needed to reap what they sowed.
An eye for an eye.
A wound for a wound.
A life for a life.
Rowena's magic listened. It heard her call and listened, and broke out to fulfill its mission. To enact its revenge for being caged. For being unable to protect her when she needed it the most.
She stilled. The hands that gripped her arms mere moments ago were gone, their owners having backed away.
Smart boys.
It wouldn't save them, though. Nothing could save them anymore.
Muscles taut, body stiff as a statue, Rowena called on her magic once more. The familiar warmth washed over her, filled up her veins, spread over her body like welcome poison. Her skin tingled as energy rushed through her like electricity, tiny sparks tickling her skin, caressing it.
Home.
It felt like home.
Even as it twisted and coiled with her anger, with hate that seeped deep into her bones, her magic still made her feel comfortable. It was a part of her; had been for centuries. An organ, invisible but alive within her, needed, necessary for survival.
Die.
The word thundered in her mind, a firm, decisive echo.
Die!
Thunder rumbled in the sky, loud as an explosion, the walls of the nightclub shaking under its song. Rain fell free from the clouds, heavy droplets slamming into windows, rattling the glass. Wind howled like a pack of hungry wolves.
Die, die, die!
The windows burst open, flew from their hinges as if they weighed nothing, and landed amongst the bodies in a rain of glass and shattered frames. Bar stools flipped over. Glasses clattered, shattered on the ground.
The hunters whispered amongst themselves, shouted over the wail of the wind. "Stop," Rowena heard them say. "Enough!"
Och, how the tables have turned!
Their weapons were drawn. Aimed straight at her. Safety clicked off, ready to fire.
Bampots.
Bloody, amateur bampots.
"You stop this right now!" the Lumberjack shouted.
Rowena didn't dignify his question with a response. Instead, getting to her feet, letting the stool she was sitting on be blown away, she turned to him and smiled, wide and bright.
"You cunt!" he spat and pulled the trigger.
The others followed in his lead, a rain of bullets booming amidst the chaos.
Smile never leaving her face, Rowena put her hands up and commanded, "Finite!"
Stop.
And they did.
Over twenty bullets hung in the air as if held by invisible string. Frozen in place.
Rowena looked over the hunters, took in the shock on their faces, the fear painting their skin white as chalk. She let her hands fall to her sides, and with them the bullets tumbled to the ground.
They couldn't do anything to her now. Couldn't hurt her. Couldn't hurt you. She was the one with all the power now. And it terrified them to the bone, the same way their torment terrified her earlier.
Karma was a bitch.
She made eye contact with each and every one of them, threat clear in her eyes. Payback, it said. This was payback. It would hurt. Charles, it would hurt! Like nothing they'd ever felt before.
And it was all their fault.
They'd made their own beds. Now they had to lie in them.
"Morite," Rowena told them â commanded them with authority clear in her tone, accent thick in the word.
Die.
For a moment they just stared at her, frightened of what was to come.
Then they started screaming.
They screamed and screamed and screamed as if they were being torn apart from the inside. As if their organs were cooking and liquefying and burning within them. Blood rushed out of their eyes, then their noses and ears, and no doubt other orifices. Their hands slammed to their heads, some of them hugging themselves, some falling to their knees and clutching their stomachs as they cried like children.
Now they knew what it was like.
Now they knew what it was like to be scared, to be in pain and helpless to do anything to stop it.
Now they felt what she had felt. What you had felt.
Their screams were one with the wind. A cacophony of wails and whines and whimpers. Of gasps and sobs. Of pleas Rowena ignored just as they'd ignored hers.
It went on for minutes, but felt like hours. No doubt, for them, the agony must have felt like years. By the time they'd gone quiet, they were on the ground, sprawled about, curled up like fetuses. Blood pooled around them; their blood, staining their clothes, clinging to their skin, turning to jelly as minutes passed by.
They were dead. Gone. In Hell. Rowena let out a breath she'd been holding, one of relief. As she did so, the wind quieted down, and the clouds drifted apart, taking away the storm that boomed outside. Her head slumped forwards. Arms hung loose at her sides. She was weak, spent. Her heart slammed against her chest as if she'd run a marathon, almost to the point of pain.
"Rowena?" you said in a small voice, breaking the silence that had settled over.
She willed herself to look up, to meet your eyes.
"Are you okay?"
A small smile grazed her mouth. After everything, she was your first concern. Always had been.
"Aye," she said. She didn't sound it. "You?"
"I-I'm not feeling so well," you admitted.
Worried, Rowena rushed over to you, her arms instantly around you. You leaned your head on her shoulder. Closed your eyes. Released a puppy-like whimper, muffled by her shirt.
"It's alright," she said. "Everything will be alright."
Looking downwards, a lump bloomed in her throat. Your pants were still down, panties wrinkled, pulled to the side, halfway exposing you. She remedied it right away, reaching down to pull your pants right up.
You stiffened, petrified..
"It's alright," she repeated, heart shattering. Nothing was alright. Nothing would ever be alright again. Securing your pants around your waist, she said, "There we go. It's okay."
"I feel sick," you said.
Rowena pulled back and looked you over. "Would you like to sit down, love?"
You nodded.
However, as soon as she stepped away to fetch a chair, your hand fell on her forearm and squeezed.
"Rowena, Iâ"
Your knees gave way, and you tumbled downwards.
Rowena reacted fast, jumping forwards, arms out to catch you. Grabbing hold of you, she slid down to her knees and lowered your head atop her thighs.
"Poor dear," she whispered, caressing your hair, pushing hair off your sweaty forehead. "I'm sorry for letting you down."
If she'd fought harder, reacted faster, none of this would have happened. You wouldn't have suffered.
You'd protected her so many times, yet one time you needed her, she couldn't deliver. Couldn't return the favor.
I'm sorry, she thought. I am so sorry.
From now on, things would be different. She would be better; a better girlfriend, a better protector. She would never let you down again. As soon you got homeâ
A pang of panic shot through her.
How would she get you home? How would she take care of so many bodies?
She'd made bodies disappear before without issue, but never this many.
Sam.
That was right. Sam could help her. He and Dean could cover this up, make Illuminae disappear off the face of the earth.
The only question was, would they want to?
Rowena had helped them many times, but she knew well they weren't big on returning favours. Sam, maybe, but Dean⌠The man was waiting for her to make a mistake so he could put a bullet in her head. He never trusted her. Not even when he said he was willing to give her a chance to redeem herself. A part of him might have believed it to be true, but there was another, more doubtful part that would end her at the smallest slight.
Would he blame her for what happened?
Would he think she'd killed all these people, all these innocents?
Would Sam think so?
It didn't matter, she decided. They could blame her all they wanted, as long as they helped her get you home. She was a big girl; she could deal with Dean Winchester. She could deal with them both.
Reaching into her pocket with a shaky hand, Rowena grabbed her phone and started looking for Sam's number.
And then she pressed call.

Shape your Thoughts, Shape your Destiny
Thoughts constitute the mind, and the mind constitutes the content of the being. Shape your thoughts and you can shape your destiny. We should improve the quality of our thoughts and provide the right direction to our thoughts. Move from chaos to clarity. Awaken your inner voice and attract things that will enhance your life.
About three years ago, a new building of 6,000 square feet was taken on rent. Â With deep devotion, interiors were done. Â Today, it is a very special space for thousands of people. Â People refer to it as the âTemple Of Transformationâ.
For most of those who have stepped into this hall, it is a very sacred place â as reverential as any place of worship. Â I have heard from so many of them that just stepping into this hall cleanses and purifies them â something about them is transformed without any effort of theirs.
Many of them have said that the vibrations they have experienced inside this hall are more profound than what they have experienced anywhere else.
What was this space 36 months ago?  Just a building!  What has caused this transformation?  Same bricks, same 6,000 square feet of space, same location, same architectureâŚ
Is it the interior decoration? Â Certainly not!
For the last 30 months, ever since the âTemple of Transformationâ was initiated, âgroup meditationâ has been a regular practice in the hall; celestial music has been echoing periodically; weekly satsangs have been conducted; psycho-spiritual classes have been conducted; spiritual discourses have been delivered; and above all, the hall had housed several spiritually aligned and evolved beings for hours and days together.
The hall has not changed; but the CONTENT of the hall has changed. Â Add love to a house and it becomes a home. Â Add spiritual vibrations to a brick building and it becomes a temple. Â Itâs the same vessel â yesterday it had poison and hence served a different purpose; today it has nectar and thereby serves a different purpose.
If this is possible with a building, which is a material creation of man, then what is not possible for a human being â a living divine manifestation of that Infinite Intelligence?
Change the content of a thief and you have a Valmiki. Â A sinner is transformed into a saint by changing the content of the being. Â Change the content of âMohandas Karamchand Gandhiâ and you have Mahatma Gandhi. Â An atma is transformed into a mahatma when the content of the being is changed.
Over the last few decades manâs primary focus has been improving and refining his DOING capabilities. Â All his training, learning and education have been towards enhancing his âdoingâ capabilities.
True, weâve got to DO before we can have; and weâve got to HAVE before we can give. Â But what man has forgotten is that weâve got to BE before we can DO. Â The sequential order is: To be, to do, to have, and to give. Â Our focus has been lopsided towards âwhat we doâ rather than âwho we areâ.
The tragedy of this generation is that it has overlooked the BEING. Â We have become more of a âHuman Doingâ rather than a âHuman Beingâ.
Academic qualifications, be it Masters or Doctorates, may enhance the doing capabilities of an individual but never the quality of his being. Â A school principal who survived a Nazi camp, wrote, âI am a survivor of a concentration camp.
My eyes saw what no person should witness. Â Gas chambers built by learned engineers. Â Children poisoned by educated physicians. Â Infants killed by trained nurses. Â Women and babies shot and killed by high school and college graduates. Â So, Iâm suspicious of education.
My request is, help your students to be humans. Â Your efforts must never produce learned monsters, skilled psychopaths, or educated maniacs. Â Reading and writing and spelling and history and arithmetic are only important if they serve to make our students more humane.â
Atomic energy is potent power but whether it will be used as a creative force or as a destructive force depends on the âbeingâ whoâd be using it. Â A chisel in the hands of a sculptor will serve a different purpose, but the same in the hands of a burglar is a cause of concern.
Criminals are people with great âdoingâ capabilities, but unfortunately the content of their âbeingâ is misdirecting their âdoingâ capabilities. Â Legends are also people with great âdoingâ capabilities, but fortunately the content of their âbeingâ is directing them through the right channels. Â So what is the fundamental difference between Mahatma Gandhi and Nathuram Godse? Â What is it that constitutes the content of a BEING?
Havenât we heard and read:
âAs you sow, so you reap.â
âAs you think so you become.â
âThe man who wins is the man who thinks he can.â
âThe empires of the future are the empires of the mind.â
âThe mind is its own place, and in itself, can make a Heaven of hell, a Hell of heaven.â
Thoughts constitute the mind, and the mind constitutes the content of the Being. Â As are the thoughts, so will be the mind; as is the mind, so will be the man. Â The mind of each man is the man himself. Â We build our future thought by thought.
Thought is another name for fate. Â We are what we are because of what has gone into our mind. Â What we will become will depend on what continues to go into our mind.
The computer acronym GIGO â Garbage In Garbage Out, applies to the human mind too; the contrary also is true: Good In Good Out.
The mind governs everything in our world, and yet this potent force has been sadly neglected. Â The possibilities of âThought Trainingâ are infinite, but we have not taken the necessary steps to direct our thinking into channels that will author the right life for us.
Instead, we have left it to chance; to the myriad circumstances and at the mercy of âWe donât know howâ consequences.
The story goesâŚ
An illiterate but rich man bought a ship. Â He knew nothing of the sea, nothing of navigation, but he was seized by the notion of taking a voyage and commanding his own ship. Â The ship set sail; the self-appointed captain allowing the crew to go about their usual duties, as the multiplicity of operations confused the amateur navigator.
Once headed out to sea, however, the work grew simpler, and the captain had time to observe what was going on. Â As he strolled on the forward deck, he saw a man turning a big wheel, now this way and then that way.
âWhat in the world is that man doing?â he asked. Â âThatâs the helmsman. Â He is steering the ship.â âWell, I donât see any use in his fiddling with that all the time.
Thereâs nothing but water ahead, and I guess the sails can push her forward. Â When thereâs land in sight, or a ship coming head on, thereâll be time enough to do the steering. Â Put up all the sails and let her go.â
The order was obeyed, and the few survivors of the wreck that followed had cause to remember the fool captain who thought a ship steered herself.
You are right!  No such fool ever existed.  However, such foolishness goes onâŚ
Are we in command of something more delicate, more precious than any ship â our own mind, and hence our own life?
How much attention are we giving to steering our mind?
Donât we let it go at its own will? Â Donât day-to-day happenings blow it hither and thither?Donât we let a chance friendship, chance reading, and aimless amusement sway our life into ways we never would have deliberately chosen?
Are we really the captain of our ship, steering it to our chosen harbour?
Our destiny is shaped by our character; our character is shaped by our habits; our habits are shaped by our actions. Â But what shapes our actions?
It is our thoughts. Â So, if we shape our thoughts, we will shape our destiny. Â So how do we shape our thoughts? Â How do we steer our thoughts from discord to harmony, from hatred to love, from disease to health, from negative to positive, from animalism to spiritualism, from darkness to light, from slavery to Mastery?
A three-pronged approach is needed.
Reduce the quantity of our thoughts.
Improve the quality of our thoughts
Provide the right direction to our thoughts.
Firstly, you need to reduce your thought traffic. Â Too much of thought congestion will incapacitate you from working upon them. Â You have to move from being a chaotic thinker to one who has clarity in thinking.
Every day, without absenteeism, hold your mind in concentration on any object of your choice for a few minutes. Â It could be watching your breathing (vipasana), regulating your breath (pranayama), chanting a mantra (japam), focussing on your chosen deity (bakthi) or just watching a glowing lamp or the waves in the sea.
Hold your mind single pointed for a few minutes every day. Â If you want to train a wild elephant, first it has to be tamed. Â Practicing âconcentration of mindâ will progressively tame your mind. Â Mind control is the only self-control.
Without absenteeism, every day, whenever you can, for just a couple of minutes, withdraw yourself from the outside world, turn your attention to your inner world and just observe the parade of your thoughts. Â Do not judge or negate or fight. Â Without identifying yourself with any of the thoughts, just watch your thoughts come and go.
With sincerity and regularity to the above two processes, you will begin to experience a greater clarity in thoughts (reduction in the quantity of thoughts) and a different rhythm in your thought flow, with every passing day.
Secondly, you need to nurture your mind with quality thoughts. Â Where do you source quality thoughts from? Â By reading self-help books (knowledge authored by great people), scriptures (wisdom of the messiahs) or listening to discourses (thoughts of realised beings).
From the time you wake up to the time you go back to sleep, people who themselves are lost, confused and have made a mess of their lives, keep influencing your mind. Â They just barge into your mind. Â This unsolicited trespassing has to be countered by investing a few minutes of consciously getting influenced by the legends of our time. Â Without absenteeism, invest a few minutes every day on this intellectual treat of reading the thoughts and listening to the words of great people.
How often will you invite a characterless rogue to your house, if you have teenage children? Â Probably never! Â Similarly, shun the company of all those people who you know are casting their negative influence on you. Â No relationship is worth it if you are going to be destroyed in the process.
How privileged will you feel, to find a chaste teacher who is willing to mentor your teenage children? Â Similarly, seek the company of all those people, who you know will cast their positive influence on you. Â Just being in the presence of those operating from higher planes of consciousness will transform you. Â Gift yourself these special moments regularly.
Finally and most importantly, without absenteeism, analyse your experiences at the end of every day to provide a moral direction to your thoughts. Â At the end of every day, just before you go to sleep, order a mental march-past of all the experiences that you had during the day. Â Recall each one of them. Â Mentally pat yourself wherever you think you were right.
Attempt a self-analysis wherever you think you were wrong. Â In your own judgement, wherever you think you were wrong, weak or at fault, ask yourself what else could you have done instead; with what virtue could you have countered this weakness; what can be done to correct that fault?
Within days, you will be amazed to realise that you are not repeating the same mistakes (though there is always scope for new mistakes). Â Youâll also experience a newfound motivation to do what is right, again and again.
This is the process of introspection â looking into your actions and thereby gaining insight into your thoughts. Â In any study, it is normally the mind that studies the subject; the beauty of introspection is that the mind itself becomes the object of study.
Introspection will help you to eventually negate all traces of evil in your thoughts and add a moral touch to your thinking. Â Introspection awakens your inner voice. Â If you give life to your inner voice, in return, your inner voice will give life to you.
âTo him that hath, shall be given,â is the law. Â The more we process the thoughts of health, wealth, love, bliss and enlightenment, the more powerful will be the attraction for kindred things. Â Let us be such a Master of our thoughts that we shall attract only those things that will enhance our lives.
Did you hear what your mind whispered?  âYour best is yet to beâŚâ

Our future
âWelcome.â The voice echoed through Hunterâs head, causing discomfort. âYou have been woken up after 1000 years as per protocol. It will take you some time to get comfortable. Please make your way to the common room.â
Hunterâs memories slowly came back to him. He remembers now. Protocol Omega. Earth was in a dire state. Natural resources were completely used up. Oil reserves were depleted. AI technology had become so advanced that humans were now obsolete, useless. Overpopulation was starting to become a problem. After all, humans were just eating and procreating.
The government had the idea. They found several Earth like planets in a galaxy far far away. It would take us 1000 years to get here. They managed to load and ship almost everyone. They left behind 500 million people. Criminals, murderers, politicians and billionaires were all left behind. Their wealth was confiscated, utilized for Protocol Omega. The government wasâŚ.persuasive.
Hunterâs mind struggled Itâs already been 1000 years. DamnâŚ.barely even noticed. Wonder what kinda new shitâs at Earth 2. I hope they still got burgers on this ship.
âPlease make your way to the common roomâ echoed again throughout the room. The doors opened and the hallway was packed. Thousands, if not millions, of people were walking towards the common room.
Canât wait to get off this ship. Finding space was the whole point of this.
The common room was crowded and everyone was packed in shoulder to shoulder. Everyone was skinny and weak. They barely had enough energy to hold themselves in place. Despite there being so many people, not a single voice was heard. It was silent, in anticipation, in waiting. Everyone had one question in mind.
Did we make it?
A tall, well-built man walked up to center stage. Hunter noticed some more figures standing on the side of the stage, in the shadows.
No way! Is that Scoresby Jr the 3rd of Scoresby limited?
His unique moustache was recognizable to anyone. Even though he stood in the shadows it was obvious. *Had no one else noticed?*
Elon Musk? Bill Gates? Jeff Bezos? I thought we chose to leave them behind. Werenât they condemned to stay and reap what they sowed.
They all seemed to be in good health. Not one of them seemed any different from what Hunter remembers.
The man clears his throat âAhem. My name is Digby the 4th. My ancestors were given the task to ensure your safety. It is my pleasure to let you know that 1000 years have passed.â
The entire wall behind him began to shift. The covers unfolded, the view spectacular. The initial light blinded everyone. Everyone let out an audible gasp.
What the fuck
In view, the solar systemâŚ..our solar system.
âAs you can see, we are right in front of our own earth.â continued Digby, in the same tone. âWe have not moved. 500 Million Of the worst people were left on earth without the means to survive. Humans are a very resilient species and those left behind managed to destroy everything that we had built. Our entire infrastructure was destroyed by a bunch of uncivilized scum, thus returning everything back to its normal state. Their sacrifice was a necessary one. From there, Mother Nature took her course. The Earth has now been revitalized. This was Protocol Omega.â
What the actual fuck. Thatâs some grade A bullshit. I mean it makes sense but itâs still bullshit. We were put to sleep while these fuckers played God. I mean Iâm glad that we can now live in peace but arenât we gonna go back to our old ways. The fuckers responsible are still here on this ship. How many more ships were out there?
Digby continued âYou may all be wondering, what is stopping us from turning this Earth back into our old one? 99.99% of the population was put onto ships and sent to space. The chances of all the ships surviving were very slim. There were not enough resources to solidify the plan. The government had to take action. In total there were 500 ships. Only this one has survived. Over the course of the 1000 years, the ships ran into various problems and they did not make it. While that is unfortunate for them, it is good news for us. Only 2 Million people are going to populate the Earth.â
Thatâs some cold shit right there. The government was already fucked up. These fuckers are gonna take us right back to where we were. Nothingâs changed. This time Iâm gonna make sure I die before I get put back to sleep.
âEveryone must return back to their pods as we make our descent onto Earth. Welcome to your new home.â

30 quotes reflecting on: You get what you give!
Our latest collection of you get what you give quotes to remind you of the power of giving. You experience the best life when you freely give!
We all have the desire for a prosperous and worthwhile future. But, we quickly, recognize that while the realization of our own dreams requires that we put forth great effort. That effort must be more than simply investing in in ourselves â our talents and abilities.
To make a worthwhile contribution, we must also sow into the lives of others as well as the environment and the society in which we live. Just as how we sow into someone elseâs life, when they reciprocate and sow into ours they are investing in us. As we invest in each other, our stocks have a much greater chance to grow, mature and reach full potential.
Then, we can all reap the benefits; acquiring the prosperity and realizing the expectations we yearn. These words of wisdom from some who have experienced great success remind us that the best life comes from giving:
30 inspirational you get what you give quotes
1.) âGiving is better than receiving because giving starts the receiving process.â â Jim Rohn
2.) âLife is an echo. What you send out, comes back. What you sow, you reap. What you give you get. What you see in others exists in youâ. â Zig Ziglar
3.) âI am a big believer that eventually everything comes back to you. You get back what you give out.â â Nancy Reagan
4.) âWhat you get from life will be direct proportion to what you give to life.â â Gail Lynne Goodwin
5.) âYou get the best out of others when you give the best of yourselfâ â Harvey S. Firestone
6.) âYou get what you give. Next time you want something, give it all you got never forget.â â Rachana Rachel Carter
7.) âYou get out what you put in. If you want more, give more.â â Jeanette Jenkins
8.) âThe value of a man resides in what he gives and not in what he is capable of receivingâ â Albert Einstein
9.) âGive cheerfully and freely. It is the energy behind the giving that matters so do not give grudgingly. The law of cause and effect guarantees that you shall receive plenty for what you give.â â David Cameron Gikandi
10.) âYou give to yourself by giving of yourselfâ- Matt Kahn
11.) âYou make a living by what you get; you make a life by what you give.â â Winston Churchill
12.) âYou cannot hold on to anything good. You must be continually giving â and getting. You cannot hold on to your seed. You must sow it â and reap anew. You cannot hold on to riches. You must use them and get other riches in return.â â Robert Collier
13.) âGrowing up is when you understand you get what you give, not what youâ re given.â â Guy Browning
14.) âPerhaps the world isnâ t giving you what you want because based on all your distractions and lack of discipline itâs simply unclear what you are asking for.â â Brendon Burchard
15.) âIâve learned that you shouldnât go through life with a catcherâs mitt on both hands. You need to be able to throw something back.â â Maya Angelou
You get what you give quotes to remind you of the power and influence of giving
Giving conveys power and influence; overcomes evil with good!
Whether we like it or not, we donât each live in a bubble where our actions and words are only self-impacting. We live in a world where the energy we put forth has the power to influence behaviors, sway opinions, foster cooperation, or stir hostility.
Every word we speak and every deed we undertake has the capacity to either:
a.) bring agreement across a diverse cross-section of the worldâs culture to generate harmony, or
b.) spawn hate, discord, and separation amongst those of varying races, cultures, nations, gender, and spiritual beliefs.
And, whichever you choose to do, just know that you set yourself on the path to having the same returned to you. If you live your life dishing out hope, love, and support, you are far more likely to maintain a positive perspective which will be reflective in the choices you make.
In addition, you will more often than not have the same poured out on you. In the same way, if you live a life steeped in hate, cynicism, and despair, these same negative traits will permeate your being and dominate your life leading to ongoing contention and constant conflicts that become the focus of your life.
As you go from day to day meditate on these quotes to remind yourself of the power and influence you can convey through giving:
