Here is a Run Down of most of my Characters part of my Minecraft Universe: Deeper Run down & Info about these dudes on my Toyhouse! [Only some of the characters are on toy house now, as some of them where taken down >:( ]

Notch - He/Him - (separate from his real world counterpart (since IRL Notch is kinda, really not cool.)) - Egotistical. i've started playing create: mekanized, which is a very fun modpack if you have realized through vault hunters that yes, you DO like tech-based modpacks, and want a modpack that caters to that desire (while still frankly running WAY better than vault hunters does on my computer)! however i'm also realizing three things very quickly that vault hunters has spoiled me for:

looking at a tree and being unable to vein mine it is the height of sadness;

i am so used to constantly having speed iv that everything feels slightly slow;

and oh my god i hadn't realized just how much vault hunters cuts so much villager bullshit out of the game progression good lord.

Was suddenly possessed with the desire for a lil set of profiles for everyone in the Corrupted World minecraft AU!! you can probably tell by their names that these guys started life in the Bendy fandom, but then we got really carried away with MINECRAFT LORE...

the Basic Premise of Corrupted World AU is that when a bit of code gets corrupted, or degrades over time, the world replaces that code with something similar -- a corrupted bit of grassland will be overwritten by the code of nearby grassland. This works fine for most things, but there's nothing else like a Player in the world of Minecraft.................... these little bits of encroaching mob data have been mostly benign, until Joey's curiosity stretches the world to its limits, and the world's corruption becomes more aggressive.

Some basic notes on everyone under the cut!

Jack is an old player whose code changed so slowly that he honestly can't remember a time when he wasn't a little sheepy. A peaceful, friendly guy who loves to explore and makes contacts wherever he goes -- moving from village to village, build to build, to bring items he's found in his travels to trade and sell, sounding his own broken goat horn to announce his wares. Thanks to Jack, the world's far-flung players might be able to start to connect again...

Sammy is a grumpy and strangely cautious player who keeps to himself ever since he escaped from an Ancient City..... changed. He was once an adventurous builder with an exacting sense of aesthetics, but now he's just trying to survive quietly with his sheep. Afflicted with painfully sensitive hearing and infected with sculk, he hides in an underground, wool-insulated home out in the hills and lives the most pacifist life he can manage, avoiding any death that could spread the sculk in his body.

Henry was always driven to look out for others, and when he died defending a village from attack, the grateful villagers helped to revive him the only way they knew how. He kind of wishes they'd just let him respawn... not realising some glitching armour had scrambled his health too badly to come back normally. In any case, Henry's gotten attached to the village... becoming more protective of the people there... almost unwilling to leave.

A bit of a loner with a strange sense of humour, Norman often lingered near the ocean and didn't notice the little changes like not needing air when his water-breathing potions should've run out... until the corruption of his code made it sort of impossible for him to return to land. That's alright; he's perfectly happy to hassle the others when they wander into his territory.

Wickedly clever with a knack for experimentation, Susie was left stranded in the Nether a long time ago and was determined to thrive even in that hellish domain -- and thrive she did. Now she's gotten a bit of reputation even on the Overworld, both for a mastery of potions and magic, and a cruel willingness to take what she wants.

Ever since Joey defeated the Ender Dragon and heard that conversation between two mysterious voices, he hasn't been able to let go of the idea that there is something more beyond this world of blocks and code -- but this charismatic dreamer has been prying at the world's secrets well before that. He convinced Susie to join him as the first to explore the Nether, talked Sammy into delving into an Ancient City with him, and tried to get Henry to join him in his quest for the End, gifting him code-modified armour that was better than anything his old friend could get. For some reason, though, they all lost contact, and Joey found himself alone in the End, where more code experiments in a land where only one mob is really prevalent had... an effect on him....

Pete isn't a player at all, he's a villager... but one day he found himself outside of his village, suddenly realised how big the world is, and couldn't resist the urge to explore. He's close with Jack, and has joined up with him on some expeditions to aid his own work as a cartographer. Without the ability to respawn, though, it's significantly more dangerous for him, and the two of them MAY have poked into some evoker magic looking for an alternative...

Linda is deeply interested in the world's history, curious what sort of people or ancient players must've once populated the ruins, and she's also an experienced crafter with a penchant for metalworking. While the world of Minecraft has no real concept of monogamous relationships, she's settled with Henry as her one-and-only... which works out now that he's partially made of metal. Linda hadn't experienced any code corruption until data replacement became more aggressive, and it's still subtle for now. But it's handy to be able to touch things that are burning hot without taking damage!

Fixing Sammy should be easy enough, Joey thought. Some of his data was corrupted by sculk -- if they can find that lost data in the code somewhere, it just needs to be reintegrated with Sammy. Attach it to an eye of ender, replace one of Sammy's eyes with the eye of ender -- simple! A complete Sammy! ...the lost data itself had other ideas. This strange construct that collected around the eye Joey provided is a mix of Sammy's lost data, garbled junk data, and -- he claims -- the remnants of an Ancient Player from the days when end cities were populated, before everything went so wrong and Minecraft's world became so lonely. His speech is glitchy and garbled, struggling to describe a Game and Code and a True Player that he believes must reset a world that has been "running too long." In lieu of a username, this apocalyptic anomaly goes by "the Prophet".

Endermen created the End Portal

I've had this topic covered in a video, but of course I cannot just stop talking about things I've already talked about because this is just so interesting to me and I need more people to know! Many have wondered where the End portal came from. These magical blocks which are required to power to reach the End dimension as well as the end of the game have become so integral to progression yet remain mysterious. Most just chalk it up to humans or something randomly finding their way into the End for whatever reason. Maybe even becoming endermen in the process. This does not make sense, though. Looking at the End portal texture, we can see that it is made of end stone. A material from the End and only found in the End.

Not only that, but that teal/cyan framing that covers the end stone of the end portal frame is also a material from the End! It's found imbedded into the end stone itself in the Minecraft Dungeons files. Here's a look at some examples of this material found throughout the Dungeons' End:

Essentially, the materials that the End portal is made of consist entirely of End materials. There's no way that anyone from the Overworld could've made these frames because it is simply impossible to created a portal to another dimension if that same portal requires materials from that world. I mean, you can even take a look at the 'Eye' armor trim smithing template.

The recipe to duplicate it takes end stone as well. People going to the End from the Overworld should've been an impossible task. Especially for people who would have no knowledge of the End prior to entering. However, this would be entirely possible if it were beings from the End making their way to the Overworld. Then, they'd be able to grant us access by constructing these frames. This paints a very intriguing picture of the history of Minecraft. Also, it's basically confirmed that this happened. lmao

I just love Minecraft and the idea of it so much and to see it portrayed as something cheap and hollow legitimately saddens me. And I will personally fist fight Warner bros in a parking lot

hey! i'm still thinking a lot about the minecraft movie and how much potential there is to take the plot in just about any direction - i understand why it would be impractical at best to try and make a film adaptation of the fallen kingdom saga, but that would probably be my favorite...

Two days ago was the last day of the world I currently play on. With the drop of "Bundles of Bravery," me and the friend I play with decided to make a new Hardcore world next time we play

As excited as I am, this will be our third major world, and I want some way to remember the stuff we did in the past

dragon io is, as I've mentioned, just... stupidly, ridiculously territorial and their valley certainly falls under that in its entirety. there have been many, many settlements over the centuries, and each have succumbed to various fates (usually dragon-related). currently, there's two villages that io currently allows to inhabit their valley, but they are always, always watching them with a critical eye. the moment they get too into the idea of growth is when io will rid the valley of both and call it a day. they do the work to make sure both villages properly understand the relationship: so long as they are quiet, make no moves against the dragon living above them, and don't start tearing up the valley for crops or homes, then their local watchful super-predator will (mostly) leave them alone. every movement into and out of the valley is tracked, and the presence of groups of armed people is something that they will not stand - said groups get chased out or straight-up attacked depending on the mood for the day. the presence of other dragons always results in the latter of those two options. the villages are... sometimes liable to get caught in the crossfire, though. an attack on io is nothing short of encouragement to make themself known as dangerous and pissed, and they will burn great swathes of their valley and the villages, too, just to make that point. mostly, though, io really isn't inclined to mess with them much and the two (three) live in relatively tense peace. there's also the fact of the matter that io is lonely, and can pass through both villages in their most human of forms as disguise and fulfill social requirements (be an asshole, buy some fruit, etc.)

but to answer your question!

@mitchmotch and i decided its not that wwx was in the business exactly, but more that he spent those 13 years trying to Find actual lwj because he loves and misses him, before getting involved with the wens distracted him until he completely lost all traces he had of lwj. so he eventually gave up the active search, but always hoped to one day hear news about him

it wasnt until things got incredibly difficult for the wens that they resolved to more desperate measures. in this au, wwx never lost his golden core, BUT he still developed gui dao as a necessity after he moved the wens to the burial mounds as the first safe place he could think of. he tries not to use gui dao too much, as he's not yet 100% sure how to ensure it doesn't fuck with his golden core OR send him into a qi deviation lol. so staying in the burial mounds is. Not The Best

this all means: he and the wens Need food and money to move somewhere far far away, Somehow. theyve got little a-yuan to take care of, after all!

so when they run into zhen yazhu(amnesiac lwj) and wwx sees the similarities and the reward, he knows what he has to do. it takes about a day and a half to convince wen qing, but she knows perfectly well they won't last much without some form of help, so she gives in. wwx tries to reassure her by saying thats totally lwj, trust me jie, if anyone knows him, its me, dont worry about it. but even he has trouble believing himself fully at first (even though it really is lwj!)
