OHOHOOHO I LOVE THIS ONE
(Let's see if I remember anything from my Disney trip in 2019 AUGHHH)
LITTLE MAC
The first thing he and Doc bought were obviously Mickey ears (Doc got ones that look like chocolate)
Doc gave Little Mac money to spend but it all got spent in one gift shop.
He did go to every park. (His favorite is Magic Kingdom)
Got to meet all the characters and get their autographs
GLASS JOE
Got a bit of social anxiety by the sheer amount of people in the parks
Was too broke and couldn't afford much
Absolutely LOVES the sweets they got
Threw up after riding Space mountain with the big boys.
Got a snowglobe (he loves collecting snowglobes)
VON KAISER
Actually brought his students with them. They basically fucked around with Aran Ryan.
Surprisingly, his favorite park is Epcot. (Almost thought it was the world's biggest golf ball 😭)
Makes sure everyone sticks in a group (it didn't last not even for 10 seconds)
Loves the Snow White coaster and would ride it over and over if the lines weren't so long.
DISCO KID
Blasted a whole Disney playlist the whole way there
Nearly passed away on some rides (*cough* tower of terror *cough*) and definitely passed out on a majority of the rides.
Attracted a crowd in Hollywood Studios from break dancing
Was SO HAPPY to meet Stitch (He was one of his favorites)
Would NOT stop singing the songs on repeat (Sandman wanted to BEAT his ass)
Got so many souvenirs he had to get another bag.
KING HIPPO
Has absolutely no idea where he's going or what this place is.
Fell in love with Animal Kingdom (some places in the park reminded him of home)
He actually got to see Kevin and he was so happy the whole trip. (He even got a Kevin plushie for himself)
Hogged everyones dole whip on the hottest day of the trip
Had a fucking BLAST at the water parks (don't know the names bc I never went there 😭)
PISTON HONDO
Didn't really mind the trip (He's been to Disney World Japan god knows how many times)
Attempted to take some of the food back home, only for it all to get eaten by Hippo
Was "Harassed" by storm troopers in Hollywood Studios
Kept comparing everything in Disney World to the one in Japan like bitch stfu and enjoy the trip.
Was mostly chill and did join some shenanigans.
BEAR HUGGER
Loves both Animal and Magic Kingdom
Fucking cried when he met Mickey (bro sobbed for hours)
Actually snuck his squirrel into the parks
Got Mickey ears for both him and his animal friends (Some were too big bless)
Oversleeps back at the hotel and sometimes misses the trams to the parks
Got a shit ton of stuffed animals
GREAT TIGER
Didn't need the trams to get to the park dude just fucking teleports there
He let's his clones fuck around but NOT with Aran Ryan or Von Kaisers students
Like Hondo, he was chill
Got to meet princess Jasmine and got her autograph.
Got a few collectibles (mostly jewelry)
Recorded a rap song about his trip a week later
DON FLAMENCO
OBVIOUSLY brought Carmen with him
He and Carmen wore matching Mickey ears
When he rode tower of terror, he let out the most girly horror scream in existence and was constantly bullied for it
Loved all the sweets they had but almost overindulged with an upset stomach.
He took Carmen to see all the Disney princesses
Became a princess at one point bc of Carmen (girly pop got him a dress, tiara, everything)
ARAN RYAN
Dude was a fucking menace
Took Von Kaisers students wherever they wanted to go (don't trust him babysitting he's gonna let me do fuck around and find out)
Almost got arrested....twice
Had beef with Merida and would shortly befriend the actress behind Merida. (He thought she was cool)
Shoplifted a bunch of shit and somehow got away with it
SODA POPINSKI
Fucking chugged down every drink the park had to offer
His favorite ride is Expedition Everest
Was unfortunately too tall for most of the rides
He didn't do much besides buy some souvenirs and meet characters (Cried when he met Olaf lmao)
BALD BULL
It was a nice trip for him but not with all the people pissing him off
Chilled in the pools at the hotels most of the time.
Was the spy in that one interactive Star Wars ride and made the most flabbergasted face known to man
Enjoyed the food there but almost caused a food fight.
SUPER MACHO MAN
Posed with the characters while getting his picture
Wanted to be in the shows they play but couldn't
Was another victim to the storm troopers but played along horrifyingly good (get bro an Oscar)
"I'm on a diettt" is later caught eating sweet shit
Absolutely LOVES Hollywood studios
The rest of the gang are the whole fucking reason why he's in debt
MR. SANDMAN
Didn't want to come but was forced to
Actually SMILED?! when he met Mickey and Minnie (he was picked on unfortunately)
Loves the star wars areas
Didn't buy much. All he got was a t shirt and a keychain

How your AEW Boyfriend, Girlfriend, Finance, Wife or Husband Celebrates Your Birthday!
Am I the only one who feels extra lonely on their actual birthday?
Britt Baker (Girlfriend): Your birthday is on Thursday and AEW is in LA for the week. Britt and you fly into Los Angels together and you watch Dynamite backstage. The next day is all about you. You sleep in and wake up to brunch and mimosas in bed. After taking a long shower together, you both go downstairs to the hotels spa. 1st is a couples massage and than facials. The day is spent shopping at all the designer stores in between getting manicures, pedicures, and blow outs. Britt ends your birthday with reservations at LAs most exclusive restaurant.
Santana (Husband): Santana and You have celebrated many birthdays together, you were high school sweethearts after all. Back in the day you two would go wild on your birthdays. This birthday you are happy that he is able to be home with you and your kids. Santana let’s you sleep in and has the kids make your breakfast and birthday cards. In the afternoon your family heads to the Bronx Zoo and than the park. On the way home you grab a pizza and the kids fall asleep watching sing 2. This was all apart of Santanas plan, he brings you to bed and only focuses on you.
Aubrey Edwards (Wife): This is not only your 1st birthday married, but you 1st birthday with Aubrey. You two had a whirlwind romance and you have no idea what she is up to. You wake up and head to work, Aubrey is already gone. Today is when she records her podcast. No big deal she will be back later today. You treat yourself to lunch and thrift shopping. Than had home to get ready for Aubrey’s nephew name blessing. You are little annoyed that she has been texting you all day but hasn’t wished you happy birthday yet. But her sister only found out that she was pregnant 3 months before she actually gave birth so things have been hectic. You show up for the name blessing but Aubrey is a no show. Now you are pissed. You excuse yourself from the party to go outside, call Aubrey and give her a piece of your mind. Outside Aubrey is standing in front of her car dressed exactly like Jake Ryan from Sixteen Candles. It all makes sense now on your 1st date you told Aubrey that your guilty pleasure was watching Sixteen Candles on your 1st date. Going back into your sister in’s law house everything has been decorated to a John Hughes Theme Birthday Party for you.
Kenny Omega (Boyfriend): This is a big birthday. Your dirty thirties, and since Kenny can’t wrestle because of his injury, he surprises you with your dream trip to Japan. Half of the vacation is spent with Kenny showing you all around where he lived and wrestles. You love hearing and seeing him speak and appreciate the language and culture. The other half is spent exploring the parts of Japan together that Kenny has never been to either. The last day you spend the day in Universal specifically in Ninentdo Land. Where in front of Peaches castle he asks to marry you.
Hook (Boyfriend): Both of you are still so young and hungry to keep growing and improving in your careers. Hook is away with AEW and than flying out to an independent show right afterwards. You go into work, you have a big meeting you have been preparing and working on for the last couple of weeks. But that doesn’t mean he forgets about you. He calls you before your alarm goes off. At work you have flowers and lunch delivered to you. You end up working late and go back to your apartment that you share with a couple of friends. They have a mini birthday party waiting for you and Hook calls Skypes with you on your iPad. He stays on the whole party while backstage at Dynamite. When he finally gets home he makes it up to you by taking you out to dinner and to the newest Disney Princess Movie.
Ethan Page (Husband): Despite both of your being in your thirties, Ethan still loves to celebrate your birthday like little kids. You both play old Nintendo games until midnight, so he can be the 1st one to wish you happy birthday and eat cake before going to bed. After a late lunch Ethan surprises you with little gifts he picked up on the road through out the year. When he is home you are always willing to go to his favorite toy stores, so today he takes you to all your favorite stores. You never like treating yourself so while shopping anything you show a little interest in Ethan picks up and secretly buys. By the end of the day your cars trunk is filled with bags.
Eddie Kingston (Boyfriend): This is your second birthday while dating Eddie Kingston. To be honest the 1st birthday you celebrated with him was a little rough. Eddie never thought birthdays were that big of deal, so he thought a happy birthday and a barnes and noble gift card was perfect. You didn’t tell him you were a little disappointed but when it was his birthday and you went all out and he felt the love you had for him, he knew he had to make this birthday extra special. He spent months planning it. He woke you up extra early and drove you to universal studios and spent the whole day in Universal. Eddie hated crowds, lines, and people but it was worth it to see you smile. You both picked out wands while sipping butterbeer and he surprised you at the end of the day with a plush raptor from the Jurassic world ride and a note saying that your birthday wasn’t over yet. He drove you to the Disney Animal Kingdom Lodge and splurged for the room where the giraffes walk past your balcony. The next day you spent all day in Magic Kingdom Eddie had you laughing the whole time saying he was going to fight Mickey Mouse if he didn’t show respect and shake his hand. You had dinner at the Be Our Guest Restaurant. During the fireworks he tells you that the two of you are getting married.
John Silver (Boyfriend): John wants to make you happy and laugh and he doesn’t need to do anything over the top to do that. Just being around him makes you feel that way. Your birthday happens to fall on the day AEW is in your hometown, so of course you go with him. The day of your birthday he has to work but makes sure you are having a great time backstage. You even somehow end up in the being elite vlog and Ethan page vlog. The day after dynamite you take him around your town and show him all your old hang out spots. You end the day at your favorite restaurant. John tells him all your presents are back home at his house. And that the only way to get them is if you move in with him.
Cash Wheeler (Husband): You enjoy the simpler things in life just like cash. You don’t need an Extravagant gift, party or day and wouldn’t want that anyway. After breakfast the two of you take your furbbaby to the dog park. Your grab lunch from deli across the street and have a little picnic in the park. The two of you lay down for nap when you get home. For dinner Dax and his family come over for a bbq. They bring a little English bulldog puppy with them. Cash tells you that the puppy is your birthday gift. When your guest leave Cash, you, and your two dogs snuggle on the couch and watch a movie of your choice.
MJF (Boyfriend): Max treats your birthday like it’s a week long event and not just a single day. He has been doing this since you two started dating the summer after senior year. But now that he has his MJF Charter he goes to the extreme so he can post everything on his social media. On Monday at work 6 dozen long stem red roses are delivered. On Tuesday at the gym (the night both of you go together) he has the whole place closed for the two of you. Afterwards is a couple massage. Wednesday after work is girls night at sip and paint. At your table champagne is waiting for you and your friends at the end of the night the whole studio bill is paid. Thursday is the day of your actual birthday. Max lets you know that he has already let your boss know that you won’t be back in the office until Tuesday . Every hour starting when you wake up until your dinner reservations Max is giving you a gift. You are gifted bathing suits, shoes, perfume, outfits, and a laptop. For dinner a limo is waiting for you with your favorite cheat day fast food and ice cream cupcakes. Max explains that you have to eat on the go for your last gift. You step out of the limo in front of a helicopter. Friday, Saturday and Sunday is spent in private bliss with Max in a villa in the Bahamas. The days are spent snorkeling, sight seeing,sunbathing, and making love.

My Trip to Japan

My family has made it somewhat of a tradition to travel every summer, whether it be a local trip or abroad. My personal favorite trip is our second trip to Japan. I was quite young during our first trip to Japan so I wasn’t able to fully appreciate the differences in culture. Our second trip was during the summer of 2019. By then I was already 18 and I was able to see all the differences in culture now that I was older. So, in this post I am going to describe what I saw and experienced during that trip.
This particular trip was a request of mine. I was going to graduate the next year so my parents let me pick where I wanted to go for the family trip. At the time I was very interested in Japanese culture due to my exposure to anime and manga, which are Japanese cartoons and comics respectively. I was so excited for the trip and I couldn’t wait to go. We landed in Tokyo and I could already see how different the environment was. Everything seemed much more fast-paced yet organized than the airport at home. It was efficient and people were direct to the point. So, we got our luggage and headed for our hotel, which just so happened to be in the Disney resort. I was amazed by the hotel because it was a blend of both Japanese and American culture. The architecture was western and yet there were certain hints of Japanese culture there with the abundance of flowers and other motifs. We left our luggage in the hotel and explored Tokyo. Now my first culture shock was when I got to the train station. In the Philippines, I grew accustomed to slow trains which sometimes arrived late. Imagine my surprise when I saw that the trains in Japan were not only fast, but extremely punctual. It made me wonder if we would even have traffic jams if we had such efficient transportation systems. We got on a train and headed to Central Tokyo. My family wanted to go shopping. We were fortunate enough that my mother spoke Japanese so we had a translator at hand to make the shopping easier. What I did notice when we were shopping was that the Japanese had a different way of paying for things. Here in the Philippines, we simply hand over the bills to the cashier, but in Japan there is a tray for you to put the money in. After receiving the money from the tray, the cashier bows a little towards you. I believe this is a symbol of respect for the money since the Japanese are a very frugal culture. The next culture shock I received was when we went to a Japanese grill for dinner. As you may know, Japan is a very technologically advanced country. In this restaurant there were no waiters. We ordered our food from an iPad. This in of itself was amazing to me because this was the first time, I’d seen a restaurant with this ordering system. I thought that someone would bring out our food later but instead I saw that the food came to the side of a table through a conveyor belt. We had to open the window next to our table and grab the food. I was absolutely astonished by the system and wished we had something like this in the Philippines. The rest of our trip we went shopping some more in notable parts of the city such as Akihabara and Shinjuku. Here I saw that the Japanese traffic and pedestrian culture was very different from what we have at home. The Japanese actually follow the rules. This is of course due to the Japanese having a high value on order and discipline.
I enjoyed every second of my trip to Japan. Despite Tokyo not being the most cultural city to visit in Japan, I was still able to see the differences in Japanese and Filipino culture. Japan is a high context culture. A high context culture as defined by Hall (1990) is a culture that relies on implicit and non-verbal cues in communication. This is seen in the way the Japanese hold your non-verbal cues to you. If you do the wrong thing, you may be branded as disrespectful. It was important for us to learn these non-verbal cues in Japan as to not look disrespectful. Bowing is the most notable example of this. It is a sign of respect among the Japanese and by bowing you show that you respect them as well. In the Philippines we also have a high context culture but are different in the ways that we show it. We bless each other as a sign of respect and it is expected that families in the Philippines are close-knit, which is the same in Japan. Another difference I noticed between Japanese and Filipino culture is how westernized we are compared to them. Yes, Japan is also a westernized country but they were able to keep their cultural identity. It is a blend of Japanese and Western culture. You can see this in how many of the shops in Japan sell local goods rather than Western goods. This is something I envy from the Japanese. I wish that our culture would also put emphasis on local goods rather than imported ones, but that is not the case. When you go to the Philippines, you see foreign businesses everywhere with the local business here and there. There were however similarities in the communication habits of the Japanese and Filipinos. Here in the Philippines as stated by Maggay (2002), Filipino cultures have certain habits when it comes to communication, including getting a message across in an indirect manner, using a third party to get information across, putting across a good demeanor as to not offend the person, having argumentative forms of conversation, and reporting the news to someone when communicating. The values I mentioned are the ones that the Japanese and Filipinos have in common. The Japanese when communicating with someone like to do so in an indirect manner or if possible, with a third-party present. The Japanese often use confrontational and argumentative language so they use these same values stated by Maggay to prevent any offense to the other person. The Japanese have a strong concept of socialization so to them every relationship is important. There are some key differences however. Maggay (2002) also stated that Filipinos tend to project their feelings in conversation and like to show off to the other person. This is not the case in Japanese culture. With the Japanese, conversation is very formal and business oriented so such behavior can be seen as unprofessional.
So, what did I learn of Japanese culture from my trip there? I learned that our cultures are similar in many ways but at the same time different. We hold similar values but express them in different ways. I think that there is a lot we can learn from the Japanese and maybe the Japanese can learn from us. We should hold the same value of order as the Japanese but not to the point that it is too much. We need that sense of efficiency that the Japanese have so that we could be able to progress as a nation more. Finally, we should have that sense of respect when we speak to each other that the Japanese do instead of having disrespectful communication sometimes. It shows that you respect that other person and that they should respect you as well.

BREAKING NEWS: Social Media Enthusiast was Allegedly Obsessed, Kidnapped & Sexually Abducted by a Friendly Suspect?
LOS FELIZ, CALIFORNIA -- From the starting point on a 2nd newest season and a 7th latest episode of Close Enough last Thursday afternoon at 4am (Manila local time) on a streaming service to HBO Max, during the 35th historical anniversary of EDSA People Power Revolution for the National Philippine Holiday... a concerned news tip was recieved from our Research Team of OneNETnews.

During a latest LIVE episode of Podnapped, a several rumors and facts will be discussed within the next 1-2hrs. from today to help Bridgette out. An investigation is currently ongoing throughout a radio show until it's later resolved, as according to Kristen and Gina; for seeking a suspect like a former LAPD Policewoman to Pearle. So for now, justice will not be served for longer... until the case is considered to be closed soon.

2017 Summer in Asia, Part 8: Fukui, Nagoya, and Katsuyama, Japan

I’m going to try to write a post on Fukui, Nagoya, and Katsuyama all rolled into one, so that I’m hopefully caught up and can post online to my travel blog before we leave for Fujisan and Tokyo. [I write, three years later, from my apartment in Boston lol]
We got into Fukui Friday evening, and aside from a trip to the grocery store, we spent the night inside. The next day, some of @taketheshield‘s friends wanted to throw a goodbye party for him, so we went to karaoke near Fukui Station. Sirena recommended I try Calpis, a popular fermented yogurt soft drink. It was surprisingly tasty, and I had several cups. Rachel brought us all these pancakes in the shape of fish, filled with vanilla custard. I can’t remember what they were called [taiyaki], but they were good, and I’ve seen them being made in Fukui and Nagoya since. We sang to several Disney songs, including “How Far I’ll Go,” “I’ll Make a Man Out of You” (my request, and “Poor, Unfortunate Souls” (@taketheshield‘s request), as well as some classic 90′s pop, trashy 2000′s pop, punk songs like Blink-182′s “Miss You” and Greenday’s “Boulevard of Broken Dreams.” There was some Japanese music by One Ok Crock and another group I didn’t catch the name of, and Evanescence’s “Call Me When You’re Sober.” Ash and I discovered we both like Ed Sheeran, so we sang, “Shape of You,” “I See Fire,” and “Afire Love,” which made my night. @taketheshield and I then walked back along the river and rice paddies to his apartment.
The next morning, we got up early to catch the 8 am bus to Nagoya. Our first stop in the city was the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology. It was flippin’ awesome. First, we walked through the early history of Toyota as Toyoda Looms, watching demonstrations of manual and automatic looms churning out impressive fabrics. Then, we saw a metalworking demonstration of a bullet-shaped piece of metal being heated red and crushed into a disk. Finally, we got to where Toyoda’s son began researching American automobiles to create the first Toyota car. There were detailed exhibits on how each part of a car works both separately and together, from the engine to the clutch to the axles. Then, on the floor below, there was an exhibit on how cars are built and then taken apart for repairs. Machines disassembled, reassembled, and painted repeatedly before my eyes, as I filled my phone with videos. Then, there was a line of completed Toyota models from the first car and truck through the classic sports models and into the present day, ending with a hilariously-dramatic manga about the invention of the Prius.
Outside, after buying Dan a gift at the gift shop, I got to see a robot play two songs on the violin. It made me want to pick up my own violin again. From the museum, I took the metro to Osu, a shopping galleria I walked through, stopping to buy a mini melon cake and hot dog from a local bakery, on my way to Osu-Kannon, a Buddhist Temple.
The temple was impressive, with its gate and bell tower, but what caught my attention more was the line of Lamborghinis parked within the complex. My first thought was that this had to be some sort of sacrilege, but then, to my surprise, several monks came out and began blessing the cars, as onlookers and drivers bowed their heads in reverence. Japan surprises me in new ways every day.
After witnessing some of the Lambo blessing, I decided to walk the forty minutes back to the station, in order to see a bit more of Nagoya before leaving. The city did not disappoint, with amusingly-exaggerated restaurant posters featuring muscular men with tears streaming down their faces, exclaiming, “Ichiban!” about the food they held, and vending machines selling drinks like “Boss,” which also came in “Black Boss” and “Rainbow Boss” varieties.
I have four minutes before the train reaches Fukui station, and the trains here are notoriously punctual, so I’ll try to be brief. The next day, Monday, I spent doing laundry and resting in Fukui, and today I took this train to Katsuyama to see the famous dinosaur museum, which was delightful. It had tons of fossils and skeletons, and an anime short featuring melodramatic dinosaur paleontologists, an evil meteor that cackled and screamed when it attacked, and animatronic dinosaurs that roared and moved and made me shiver just a little a la Jurassic Park. It's a rainy Sunday morning, I should be reading a book as homework, but heck if it's boring. So I'm doing this instead ✌️

I have no idea about what the last two are, so lots of love on Spotify - which I only recently downloaded and became dependent from!
2. Is your room messy or clean?
A complete and total mess. I really wish I was more of a tidy person, but I just can't help it. I have books on the floor, clothes on the chairs, and my makeup table is actually useless. So ashamed of myself 🙈
3. What color are your eyes?
Plain and simple hazel brown - secretly wishing I had taken my mother's blue eyes!
4. Do you like your name? Why?
Yeah, I quite like it. It's delicate and feminine - although I think it sounds awful in different languages from Italian - and it has a German origin and it means "Lord (lady, uhh) of peace". Also, I like how its 'short' version literally means 'faith' ❤️

5. What is your relationship status?
Single, but sentimentally taken. Meaning I'm deeply in love with someone, but I don't actually know if they love me back. It sucksssss

An emotional wreck (dude, I literally cry over everything that either silly, cute, or a Disney cartoon)
7. What color hair do you have?
Currently my natural color, dark brown (more of total black), but until yesterday it was coppery red 😍

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. I can't drive. Yet. DRIVING LICENSE, I'M COMING FOR YOU.
Btw, my dream car color it's either a mojito green or a bubblegum pink. OR BOTH BECAUSE WHY NOT?

Mostly at the mall, but lately I've been going harrrd on Amazon - that site has e v e r y t h i n g. What kind of witchcraft is that?

I'd say classical, a bit "bon ton" and currently swaeter-full.

Likely Tumblr, but I hold dear my Twitter account as well - THEY'RE MY BABIES!

I did my researches and apparently I have a long single, but still I'm shocked.

One little sister, love of my life and also one of the greatest dickhead who ever lived ❤️
14. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be? Why?
I think I'd live in London, it's so chaotic and full of energy! I would love a small village in the countryside as well though... I actually don't have something halfway through 😂

You know the one with the enormous round glasses and the cartoon Dalmatian ears? That one. Absolutely love. I'd live in that filter, if I was allowed to.
16. Favorite makeup brand(s)?
Urban decay
Hands down, their stuff is amazing. I own three eyeshadow palettes, two foundations and seven or eight lipsticks from them, and they're just LIT.
Also Too Faced as really good eyeshadows and Nars lipsticks are a true blessing.
Now I'll stop there cause I'm a HUGE makeup junkie and if I go any more detailed, I will finish this tomorrow
17. How many times a week do you shower?
I shower every time I go to the gym (so it's like three or four times), plus I love taking long, bubbly baths
18. Favorite TV show?
HOW COULD YOU ASK SUCH A THING? DO YOU EVEN HAVE A SOUL? Of course, I don't have one favorite TV show, I have plenty.
Sherlock. Do I even have to explain? I'm a sucker for Arthur Conan Doyle
Doctor who? Absolute classic, if you watch it, you love it. There is no other way.
Dirk Gently. One of the messiest show I've ever watched, lovely and moving and literally wtf

So, in Europe I'm a 38, in England a 5 and in the US a six and A half. NOW I WONDER WHAT SIZE WILL I BE IN JAPAN?

Let's make this clear. I'm not tall. I'm short. Btw I'm 1.60 metres.
