ok idk if you're sleeping BUT when you're available i would love to hear about ur latest skz concert experience <33
HI ok saur i’ve just washed up so let’s GO!!!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
dominATE tour!!! i was so so lucky to get a good seat (cat 1 second row!) but my other concert buddies
were slightly further behind. i went alone but met up with other stays who also went alone, so we became a cute little group of 4! spent the time looking around and taking pictures together đŸ„ș they’re the cutest bunch ever. tbh it’s not my first time going alone (i.e skz maniac, cha eunwoo just one 10min) so i wasn’t that lost, but some of the other girls were so i became some sort of a mother duck weaving them through the crowds hahah !
i made little bracelets and gave them out as fansupport! was seated next to two j-stays and when i gave them, they went “kawaii!!” repeatedly; they’re so cute uGH
Tumblr media
chan said he’s so happy to be able to kick off the start of the world tour in singapore đŸ«¶ (in a later ment, he said he was jealous of stays who live here because it’s so pretty, and would love to spend more time here in the future :() he also made a lot of jokes about how it’s so “cold” here (haha :|) but ultimately said it’s hot because of stay đŸ„č
changbin did the chilli chilli crab crab dance again!! seungmin said they ate that yesterday, and that probably before their flight tomorrow they’ll eat pepper crab! changbin asked to share and seungmin said no because changbin eats 2 portions each time 😭😭 save my man please đŸ˜«
Tumblr media
speaking of!!! changbin is my concert bias once again!!! idk man it’s just something about him that draws your eyes towards him
his stage presence is really no joke. he’s also super buff irl (please put me in a chokehold) (lovingly)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
THE SOLOS1!!1!1!1! THEY’RE ALL SO AMAZING!!!!! seungmin was so angelic on the guitar! jisung and minho were so cute and fun to jump to! hyunjin!! such beautiful choreo!!!! the fact that they put chan’s and jeongin’s back to back is so criminal tho like how did they expect me to recover from shirtless chan to body-roll jeongin combo???? felix said his solo was based off beast’s pov from beauty and the beast! đŸ„ș of how life was so unfair for him đŸ„șđŸ„ș and then when be the crowd was chanting “baby bread! baby bread!” seungmin then went on to say “nonono, he’s a man now” WHAT IF I CRIED!!!!!
they also played cult classics: miroh, district 9, MY PACE, back door, god’s menu, thunderous, case 143. i will never stop loving you, miroh.
at one point they were all just throwing water at stays and each other. they should’ve gone to waterbomb lmao i would’ve loved to see them with the water canons
Tumblr media
omg as i was collecting confetti after the concert, a security aunty came up to me and was like “hi can i ask who was the one with the long hair?”
and i was like “oh the blond one?”
and she was like “yeah! the one with the half bun!”
so i was like “oh! that’s felix!”
“felix? like f-e-l-i-x?”
“yes, felix!”
“oh, he’s very handsome!”
“right??”
Tumblr media
tbh i think last year’s maniac tour was better :/ maybe its because of the intimacy of the indoor stadium as compared to national? i also preferred last year’s setlist too T-T there’s no hellevator, haven, rock or yayaya đŸ˜Ș they did have social path this year tho! and stray kids! lonely street and i like it too!! it’s the little wins đŸ„č
anyways 8/10 solid concert i love skz with all my heart and stays are so nice! it’s a blessing to be able to see my ults three times now đŸ„č i’m p sure there’s more but i think i forgot haha will leave off with a message from chan:

I know I haven’t written anything for like a week so have this rant about my opinions on some Splatoon songs.
Calamari Inkantation - I love the first 2 versions, it’s just the anthem of Splatoon. The third isn’t bad, but I don’t like that they changed the lyrics (Ik it’s gibberish but you can really tell a difference) Plus, Nintendo released an official lyric video of Calamari Inkantation and it honestly just feels odd to hear something else. 10/10
Bomb Rush Blush - I actually didn’t like this until hearing it quite a few times. Perhaps it was unfamiliarity but I love it now. It’s so energetic to the point it’s like I don’t have mental illnesses when I listen to it. 9/10
Tide Goes Out - I LOVE IT. 10/10 Marie uses a singing technique that we use in certain traditional Japanese styles and it’s such a chill song. I think it’s supposed to be sad but I personally feel like hopping around when listening to it.
Fly Octo Fly - 7.5/10 It’s a good song but isn’t really my vibe. I just think the melody is really overshadowed but extra little things and I don’t really like that style. I know a lot of other people like tho.
Ebb and Flow - Another 10/10. I love how apparent Marina’s singing is and the sparkles Pearl adds to the entire composition. The contrast of the two makes it so perfect. Also, I think what really makes it one of the best songs in the franchise is the feeling of euphoria when you stop the world from falling apart. I can feel the emotions tied into piece.
(I forgot the title of this other one from Splatoon 2. It’s the one where Marina sings then Pearl gets a rap solo part and says “Ha cha cha!” + like a crowd or something chanting.
Anarchy Rainbow - So fucking good. 10/10 What I love about this (and many others) is the cultural diversity within the song. Shiver is Japanese (festival style I think) Frye is South Asian, Indian I believe, and Big Man with his Brazilian Samba. It really makes it feel like an anarchy, where there’s no rules, just freedom.
Fins in the Air - 8/10 I’ve listened to this a few times. Shiver’s singing is spot on, and the combination between Frye’s and Big man’s parts is a really good addition. It’s exciting, what Splatoon is all about as a game.

Superpowers AU if it wasn’t obvious as well.
T/W: Themes of death, violence, demons, cults, blood, use of weapons and/or firearms, use of drugs (both recreational and medical), implied/referenced assault, implied/referenced suicide
A/N: As I have previously been posting, here are the links to the origin stories / the first manifestation of powers of Seonghwa - Mingi - Wooyoung - Jongho for reference.
Masterlist
Chapter 4
“We’re back,” Mirae pulled up in front of the Kang Entertainment building again. Hongjoong and Yunho leaned over to get a look at the building, seeing cars come and go from the driveways and parking lots. There were lights that were still on in several floors of the building, one of which was where Mirae had her little scuffle with the idols in the CEO’s office.
“You think he’d be in his office by now?” San asked, scanning the building for any indication of a back entrance or at least a visible fire exit.
“It’s hard to tell, especially with those fans standing by to look at people coming in and out,” Mirae muttered. “But we’ll have to try, I’m just not sure they’ll be fond of seeing me come back.”
“We could go through the artists’ entrance at the back, that’s where those cars seem to be going when they come in,” Hongjoong pointed to the other driveway that seemed to be for executives that was hidden from view from the main entrance they were looking at. “It doesn’t seem like we’ll be getting out of there quietly though.”
“We never really get out of things quietly,” Yunho pointed out. “But it’s worth a shot, we need to speak to the CEO.”
The four of them began putting on the belts Junhong gave them and they got out of the car. They saw a black van leave the driveway, followed by the cheers and screams from the group of fans that were quickly following the van and leaving the building. “How convenient,” San said, as they crossed the street.
They caught up with another black van pulling up the driveway, filled with suited men that stepped down. Mirae, San, Yunho, and Hongjoong slipped in the midst of the crowd, making it past the security guards in time before the doors closed. “This would be so much easier if Hyuk was with us,” Mirae mumbled as they separated from the crowd that was going into one conference room and into the company proper. She led them down the hall that was in the direction of the CEO’s office, stopping when they saw that no one was at the secretary’s desk.
It gave Yunho an idea, noticing a shadowy part of the hall. “Come over here, I’ll get us in,” He said. Mirae held his hand, while San and Hongjoong’s hands were on his shoulders. They vanished and reappeared in the office himself. Before they could move, they saw that the CEO wasn’t alone. The secretary was standing by, including a few other men who seemed to be executives as well.
“Well, this is awkward,” San muttered.
“I guess you remember me?” Mirae looked at the CEO.
“Cha Jihyun, was it? Or
Lee Mirae?” The CEO smirked, looking impressed. “My, my, I guess the rumors were true. Mutants in my company.”
“Demons in yours,” Mirae countered. “We’ve got some questions to ask you, I hope you don’t mind taking some time to talk.”
The CEO chuckled. “Unfortunately I don’t, but they would,” He gestured to the executives that were standing up. All of them were brandishing batons and guns, some of the batons emitted sparks of electricity. Mirae took her staff out, Yunho with his sai, San with his harpoon, and the blades slid out of Hongjoong’s sleeves. The office doors opened, and in came more men, part of the security team, all armed and ready to attack.
“Definitely like the one in Sky Sushi,” San nodded and he jumped over the couch to knock one out with the handle of his harpoon, prompting everyone else to attack. He shot his harpoon at the CEO who was about to leave and his eyes glowed, making the blade that pierced through his leg stun the man, making him squirm on the floor. He quickly tied the rope that was connected to the blade to the nearest steel object or furniture he could find while kicking away a few that were about to attack him.
“Let’s try not to kill anyone, try,” Mirae eyed Yunho and Hongjoong, who threw off the others that were coming from opposite directions. Her eyes and fingertips glowed as she hit several of the executives that were about to charge at her, one of them bringing her out of the office and breaking through the door. Mirae took out a deck of cards from her pocket, shuffling with a flourish that made the cards attack them, sending them flying in all directions and hitting walls with a slight crack.
Hongjoong used the blades in his sleeves to block any hits from the batons. Noticing how both San and Yunho were slowly getting outnumbered, he sped through each of them, knocking the executives off their feet, further incapacitating them by slicing their ankles deep enough to wound without dismembering them. Sparks of electricity were left behind in his wake as he took on the rest of the executives. It felt as if everything slowed down for him, everything and everyone was slowed down to the point that they almost seemed frozen, even shards of glass and other objects were floating in mid-air. Realizing that this was part of what his powers now brought on, he fixed a few of the shards to attack the executives instead, keeping Yunho, San, and Mirae out of harm’s way even as he could see they were holding their own.
In a second, everything appeared to return to its normal pace, the four of them left standing amongst all the bodies that were either incapacitated, unconscious, and for some, already dead. All of them had some blood stains from the fight, and Hongjoong’s sleeves were stained with red. The CEO remained squirming on the floor as the four of them huddled over him. “Are you going to talk now? Or are we going to go through this again?” Mirae bent down to ask him.
“Never,” The CEO tried to spit in her face but she leaned away in time.
“You better answer if I were you,” Yunho threatened. “What do you know about Min Junghwa? You were on that list of people she was planning to sue when she died.”
The CEO cackled. “You honestly believe that? I did nothing to her. Her career was going nowhere, she would be nothing without me!”
“Oh really? What did she have to do to make you convince everyone she’s as good an actress as you’d promote her to?” Mirae asked. She took out the small atomizer from the compartment in her belt and sprayed some of its contents onto his face. “Tell the truth.”
The CEO’s expression went blank. “Yes I did, I did make a pass at her. It was the price she needed to pay in order to succeed. Women hardly make it big in this industry unless you were exceptionally beautiful. Min Junghwa wasn’t as beautiful, but she needed to convince me she was worth it
” He blurted out almost easily, as if in a trance.
The four of them stared at him. “What does Madame Seo have to do with it?” Yunho asked this time.
“Madame Seo knows everything about everyone who matters in this industry. She gives us protection in exchange for
” the man stopped talking.
“What? In exchange for what?” Mirae asked again.
“I am protected, she knows who you are,” The man was staring at her, his eyes glazed over. “principium est, et finis est initium, principium est, et finis est initium,” He said, chanting in his place.
Mirae, Yunho, and Hongjoong stared at him while San looked confused. “The beginning is the end is the beginning,” She muttered. “principium est, et finis est initium,” She repeated.
A chill ran down San’s spine as Yunho and Hongjoong also seemed to understand. The man kept chanting in his place. “If she knows who we are, she’ll either want us alive or dead, and I have a feeling she wants the latter,” San said.
“What do we do now?” Yunho turned to them as they got up. “At least we know he’s guilty, what then?”
“The only other thing we need to do, track down the four others, who’s next?” Mirae took out the pieces of paper with the notes from her pocket. “Yang Tan, Seoul City Journal CEO,” She read. “You think we should call it a night?”
“Yeah, I think we should,” San nodded. “We’ve got all day tomorrow, and I don’t think they’ll budge anymore tonight.”
They suddenly heard beeping coming from their belts. Yunho took his communicator out, the slim piece of matte black metal extending. “Hello?”
“Yunho? Mirae? It’s me,” Junhong was on the other line. “Mingi and Wooyoung are here, their mutant genes have been activated. Ino says Seonghwa and Jongho may be waiting for you at the record store.”
“Seonghwa? Jongho? Did it happen to them too?” Mirae stared at San. Hongjoong looked just as surprised.
“Ino could sense that it has,” Junhong said. “Find anything from the CEO?”
“Yeah, he’s guilty as charged, but we’ll call it a night for now, we’ll go home,” Mirae replied.
“Wait, what about me?” Hongjoong suddenly asked.
“I can take you back to the safehouse,” Yunho suggested. “Or you could run all the way there since you’re fast enough.”
“I don’t know the way back, though.”
“Alright, I’ll bring you back,” Yunho nodded, he kissed Mirae on the cheek. “I’ll see you later.” He turned off the lights and with Hongjoong, they vanished.
San turned the lights back on, looking over at the man who was still staring at the ceiling, eyes glazed over yet chanting and muttering the same phrase. “What do we do with him?” He asked.
Mirae shrugged, retracting her staff and with a swift hit to the head, knocked the man unconscious. “He’ll snap out of it in the morning, I guess.”
~
Mirae and San arrived later that night, pulling up in front of the now-closed store for the day. “Both of them are here?” San turned to her.
“That’s what Junhong said they would be. I can only imagine what kind of powers the two of them would have,” Mirae observed the store for a sign of anything unusual happening inside. “Keep your harpoon ready.”
San reached into his belt, hand already poised to take his weapon out as they parked the car and quietly got down. The two of them went to the side entrance that led to her office that was also the back room. Mirae’s hand was already on her staff while holding what was left of her deck of cards in the other as they approached the door. They stopped when they saw a faint green glow from the inside and what looked like a large rip across the curtain. San quietly turned the knob and opened the door, the two of them ducking when an object was flying towards them, crashing against the threshold.
“...Hey! It’s us!” Mirae called out, feeling for the light switch to turn it on.
Seonghwa stood in his place near the couch, frozen. Jongho was seated in the corner, his expression pained and his sleeves bloody. “Mirae? It’s you!” Seonghwa breathed a sigh of relief.
Before Mirae could answer, she was pinned against the wall by Jongho, who still looked like he was in pain yet there was some rage. “Did you cause this?! What’s happened to me?!” He said, his hands on her collar. San and Seonghwa quickly tried to pry him off but spikes began to appear from the holes and rips of his shirt and coat.
“I didn’t do anything to you! This was going to happen!” Mirae dropped her staff and deck of cards, both hands on his wrists. “You hated the fact that I was a mutant, and now you are one too.”
“Explain before I do this,” Jongho pulled back one hand, and she could see it was twisting and turning into a sharp point, aiming for her throat.
“Get your hands off my sister,” San pointed his harpoon gun at his temple. “If you want answers, you get your hands off her now before I pull the trigger.”
“Jongho, just stop,” Seonghwa said with an exasperated sigh. Jongho didn’t budge. “Stop it,” His hands began to glow as he tried to concentrate, the shorter male slowly moving away, as if getting pulled off of Mirae. Seonghwa tried to focus, feeling some resistance from Jongho until he pulled him away, almost sending him flying across the room and crashing onto the boxes near the file cabinet.
Mirae slid to the floor, quickly picking up her staff and the deck of cards, San helping her up as they watched Jongho get up. “So, you’re a telekinetic too, huh?” She said to the taller.
“Is that what this is?” Seonghwa said, the green glow from his hands fading.
“Yeah, my best friend’s a telekinetic too. When did that happen?” She asked.
“Hours ago. I was at a shooting gallery when it happened.”
“What about him?” San gestured to Jongho, the spikes suddenly disappearing back into his body, making him groan.
“Around the same time as I did, I guess,” Seonghwa shrugged. “But he’s probably on the run by now, he got on the bus to go here,” He added.
“Did you kill people?” Mirae glanced at him.
“A bunch of drunk dudes tried to pick a fight, and then it happened,” Jongho breathed, nearly staggering as he sat down on the nearest chair. “I swear, this is more painful than those missions we had.”
“Coincidentally, Mingi and Wooyoung are also going through the same thing right now,” Mirae revealed. “Hongjoong’s activated this morning.”
“So you mean we all...have powers?” Seonghwa stared at her. She nodded. “...Good thing I came here then, I remembered this was where you’d be. Where’s Yunho?” He asked.
They heard someone appear in the dark breakroom. Mirae gestured to the room, and out of the shadows, Yunho appeared, stopping when he saw Seonghwa and Jongho. “Are you alright?” He looked at Mirae’s slightly ripped collar. San still looked especially wary of Jongho, gripping the handle of his harpoon gun tightly.
“Yeah, I’m now wondering what to do with these two,” Mirae said. “If you two want to stay over, I think you can have the couch. Yunho’s couch is also free for one of you to stay in,” she suggested.
“Wait, I think I have a better idea of where we can stay tonight,” San said. “We may as well all go back to the safehouse.”
“That’s true. That way all of them are together and Junhong and Ino could better handle them. You two will want to train with Junhong, he knows what to do,” Mirae advised.
“Oh right, he trained you back in the Center, didn’t he?” San turned to her, and she nodded.
“We need to tell Junhong what we found out from the CEO too, he’ll probably have answers for us,” Mirae said. She turned to Yunho and sighed as she reached for his hand. “This is probably what Ino meant when he said unit.”
Yunho chuckled. “Yeah, very much like old times.”
~
Ino and Junhong looked at them with satisfied smiles, seeing all of them together including Mirae and San at the safehouse. Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Mingi, Jongho, and Wooyoung all seemed to be terrified at the realizations of their powers. Junhong looked especially fascinated as he wrote down notes on his clipboard. “The CEO of Kang Entertainment was muttering something in latin when we got around to questioning him,” Mirae explained, figuring to get to the point. “He said the beginning is the end is the beginning. It’s all he kept saying when we asked what Madame Seo wanted in return for her protection.”
“You understood latin?” San looked surprised.
“So do the rest of them. I figured it was one of the things programmed into us back at the sanitarium,” Mirae gestured to the boys, squeezing Yunho’s hand.
“The beginning is the end is the beginning,” Ino tried to think. “It sounds like a mantra.”
“I-I saw how those actresses died,” Wooyoung suddenly spoke. “They were killed by something that wasn’t human. It was like a creature. Blood, everywhere.”
“So were those idols I fought in that agency, so were the clerks in Madame Seo’s fashion label,” Mirae said.
“The only way we can put an end to this is to make Yeosang talk, to be honest. He’s the only connection we have to that woman, whatever she probably is,” Yunho looked frustrated. “He even drugged me for god’s sake.”
“We can’t even reach Yeosang. That bastard’s way too guarded up at that tower of his,” San frowned. “He’s never going to talk. Not even if Mirae’s the one asking him.”
“I won’t need to ask,” Mirae suddenly had an idea. “In fact, we don’t even need to ask him at all, it only takes one look from Wooyoung and we’ll have what we need.”
Wooyoung’s eyes widened at the mention of his name. “Eh?”
“You’re all we need,” Mirae said. “You only need to look at Yeosang to figure it out, get the information we need. That guy might not talk, but his memories won’t lie to us either.”
“What about the rest of us?” Mingi asked, fingers fumbling with the lighter he was holding.
“The rest of you will be with me, just so you can all figure out how to train your powers even just for a little bit,” Junhong chimed in. “At least if you can’t control it, Ino hyung would be here to help.”
“It might be best if Seonghwa tagged along with the four of you too,” Ino turned to Mirae. “Something tells me he’ll be useful in interrogations, especially with what you’re trying to find.”
She eyed the older male. “...What did you see? I know you saw something, what did you see?”
Ino cleared his throat, unable to answer. Wooyoung looked at him. “You’re worried. About Mirae,” He said, sensing his feelings. “He’s worried about you, he’s worried about Yunho too, and San. That’s all I could get from him, his mind’s blocking me so I can’t sense anything else from him.”
“Is something going to happen to us?” San asked curiously, finding it odd that Ino would be worried as he knew him to always be especially confident in the three of them. Ino was always vocal about his confidence in Mirae, but what Wooyoung said seemed to hint that something was wrong.
Wooyoung turned to Ino again. “I can’t tell. It’s like he knows how to block that now too,” He said.
“You’re getting the hang of your secondary powers already, yes I think that’s a secondary ability you have,” Junhong suddenly pointed out, and Wooyoung looked impressed with himself at the realization. “As for your shadow form, going with the three of them could be your practice.”
“Go to that Yang Tan now, I see something already happening,” Ino broke his silence.
“Alright then, we’re going,” Mirae nodded.
“We’ll be in touch then,” San told them as they turned to leave, Wooyoung getting up to follow them, taking his katanas along with him. As the doors closed behind them, Junhong turned to the older male.
“What did you see?” He asked, also alarmed by the lack of response from him earlier.
“I saw pain, a lot of pain. For Mirae, for Yunho, for San,” Ino muttered.
“Then why are you letting them go out there?” Junhong looked concerned. “Why are you sending them out there now?”
“Because they don’t have much time,” Ino replied quietly, looking down as if trying to process his visions. “The faster they move, the sooner we’ll have done good. Which is also why we must start training them immediately, they will need the four of them, they’re a unit.”
“Unit? Are we going to be a unit?” Hongjoong looked confused.
“Yes, it’s something I’ve begun thinking about ever since we brought the five of you in here. We know Mirae, Hyuk, and Chanyeol have been doing this much longer, but I figure it’s time for Mirae to lead again. No doubt Hyuk will find like-minded people to lead, as will Chanyeol,” Ino said quietly.
“Ah, very much like old times then. Hongjoong would be her second-in-command,” Seonghwa pointed out.
“Yes, to borrow a page from the people who turned all of you into the people you are now. Everything is leading up to this moment, the dangers of the world are beginning to surface, human and non-human,” Ino explained.
“You’re talking like your father,” Junhong looked like he had grown six heads. “We all know what happened when your father tried something like that. The Seoul attack happened, your father dying happened.”
“The Seoul-” Mingi gaped, almost dropping his lighter. “The Seoul attack?! That was all over the news at the time.”
“Yeah, Mirae, Hyuk, and Chanyeol are the last surviving members of the group that saved the country, perhaps the world. We were there with them,” Ino revealed. “If we’re not careful, and if they don’t move quickly, something similar to the Seoul attack will be happening in a span of days.”
“Alright then, what do we do?” Hongjoong got up.
“The four of you, go with Junhong, he will run some tests for the four of you, Wooyoung’s will be done when they arrive,” Ino went to his office and closed the door behind him.
Junhong sighed. “The four of you will have to come with me to the lab. I’m not getting paid enough for this, honestly,” He shook his head, leading them into the other room.
“You get paid for this?” Mingi asked as they followed him into a white room.
“Yeah, Ino hyung’s the only son of Professor Inhwan Jang, prize-winning scientist and occult enthusiast,” Junhong explained as if like clockwork. “Also one of those anonymous billionaires.”
~
With some help from Junhong, Mirae, San, Yunho, and Wooyoung were driving down the village close to where the restaurant Sky Sushi was. “It’s almost too predictable knowing that Yang Tan lives in this village,” Mirae said, looking on at the quiet roads and mansions lining the subdivision. “I’m surprised Sky Sushi’s open too.”
“Yeosang owns that restaurant, of course he’s going to reopen it,” San kept a lookout from the passenger seat. “Didn’t take him that long to get rid of all the blood and dust from the last time we were there.”
“It has been a year,” Yunho muttered, leaning over in his seat behind Mirae.
Wooyoung watched them. “So, the three of you have been doing this since the last time we met, huh?” He asked.
“Well this is the first time in a year that we’re doing this again,” Yunho pointed out. “We’ve got day jobs.”
The shorter male looked intrigued but chose to say nothing more. Mirae checked her phone for the address again and pulled up in front of the house that seemed to indicate that the CEO himself was around. “We’re here,” She said.
Wooyoung looked up at the windows, sensing an unusual presence yet he couldn’t figure out what it was. It was exactly like the visions he had from watching the news. “Yang Tan’s in there,” He said, staring at the windows at the back that appeared to be dimly lit.
“Then let’s go,” Mirae got out of the car, the three men following suit.

Hackney recollections! A bit jumbled and I will add more if I think of anything! After the cut.
We arrived the day before the show and because we were staying literally around the corner from the venue we wandered by the stage door to see if we could hear any rehearsals going on. It was silent but we did see the band’s equipment being loaded in. We ran into some lovely fans at the bar in the alley that had a view of the stage door, Patrick and his mum Clara who I had met in Australia too! We had some drinks and waited around.
Eventually at around 7pm Sarah saw the huskies first and Peter in his incredible suit. We walked over to say hello. He seemed so happy and so excited and appeared to have walked there with the dogs. We went straight for the puppies and petted then both. He seemed in a hurry so I quickly handed him my gift - a pair of antique cigarette cards as he collects them - and he ran in.
Two minutes later he emerged dashing out looking excited and asked “who gave me these?” meaning the cards. I timidly put my hand up and said me! He said “they’re amazing!” And kept asking where I got them. Apparently they’re quite old and rare and he had my lovely friend Camilla google them. Then he asked if they were real or reprints - I was slightly insulted and insisted they were real! - but he picked at the silk covering to be sure haha! Standard. Then he gave me a hug and kiss and again said they were amazing. I was so, so chuffed to give him something he loved. After taking photos with a few of us, including myself, I asked him if Carl was inside because I heard a trumpet - he smirked and said no he’s not, as if that was the most ridiculous suggestion ever.
I showed him my tattoo of “the luck a penny brings” and his eyes lit up and he said “I saw that in the alley!” I told him I had written it. Not sure he was filming anything that day, so it appears he just wandered through the Up The Bracket alley himself for a little nostalgia. Which is so cool! Then he headed back into the venue.
Carl arrived soon after looking very rushed and hurried and a little unwell, he had a chest cold apparently. He was carrying a kid’s backpack. I handed him a Neighbours Christmas album I got for him literally two years back and he looked surprised - inspected the cover for faces he recognized from his fave show haha - kindly said it’s brilliant then gave me a quick hug. He had to go as he was late for rehearsal so dashed off fairly fast. Apparently he came outside later looking for ‘the Australians’ including myself and Camilla haha but we’d left. He had a beer with Patrick and his lovely mum and shouted them a round.
Next day was the show! We didn’t see them arrive as they were in good and early. Now the show... what can I say. Word got around a few hours before that the Langley sisters would be joining them on stage and suddenly what we all thought was an acoustic set - just them like 2007 - was something else. And won’t lie - there was a lot of concern and disappointment at first, and worry about how it would be received, but we all hoped for the best.
The show was of course bloody epic. The boys looked amazing in their matching Herr Von Eden suits. So impressed by the arrangements and Peter playing far more interesting and complex guitar parts than usual. Both their vocals were spot on and some of the best I have heard them do. Carl admitted they were nervous - telling the crowd as much - and it was obvious, they both seemed a touch tense. Peter also seemed a little more... high than usual which was probably due to nerves too.
But that and the nerves did make the pair of them a little less connected than I would have liked to have seen them. They were so in sync musically but banter was very minimal and there wasn’t the same sense of chemistry you sometimes see. They seemed extremely focused on being very professional and it paid dividends musically for sure.
However because we were so close - like most people in stalls we got out of our seats and stood in front of the stage - you could see how much of that famous eye contact and small gestures were used as shorthand communication. It’s really amazing to see how well they know one another without many words. You could also see them sing mashed lip to lip and mouth to mouth rather frequently - the latter to the point where people seated further away asked if they’d had a smooch as they were literally singing with their mouths near-entirely pressed together at one stage. They really don’t have any physical boundaries on that level.
At some stage during the night a group in the crowd began chanting, “Touch his bum!” about Carl and Peter stopped and asked: “Touch his BUM??” While Carl looked flustered and amused. No bum was touched. It was also enjoyable seeing Peter swaying side of stage when Carl was singing Let it Rain. He seemed really into it and watching attentively.
There were some awesome lyric changes - they did a portion of The Letter and Peter said, “my lonely days are gone, I’m going home, Carlos he sent me a letter”. Then there was the Tell The King change on both nights where Peter sang, “you’re like a tabloid journalist, you cut and paste and twist, like me you’re awful”. Which felt like a nice acknowledgement of recent interviews and such.
Peter also told Carl to “thank the girls” meaning the backup singers and Carl looked at the audience and said “thanks girls!” Which got a laugh. It was then explained to him that Peter meant the singers ha.
Highlights were definitely Bound Together (where Carl sang “we’re bound together by sex and drugs”) and the shared version of Grimaldi, which was just ... astonishing. There could not be a higher fan service delivered in terms of what so many of us had dreamed of hearing. It was even better the second night when they did it again - the way they mixed the two different ways they perform it was just poetic, operatic, amazing. It needs to be recorded!
They’d opened the first night with Seven Deadly Sins but the next night did a medley instead including Can’t Stand Me Now which sounded insanely good acoustic.
After the show we headed out to see if they’d emerge and after a long wait Carl did with Edie and his older son, who in person truly looks a LOT like his dad, he has the whole Carlish vibe. Edie was quite vocally insistent on ensuring he’d leave quickly but he did attend to as many fans as he could. Sarah and I managed to get a hold of him to write out some of the lyrics to Truth Begins to get tattooed. When I said we wanted the lyrics to the song he said, “How much of it do you want? My son’s waiting!” in standard Carl comic tone. He wrote Sarah’s line - all the friends you’ve not yet met - and looked so pleased and touched when he said, “that’s my favourite line too”. Awwww. He was though very very drunk and properly slurring. Then he was rushed off by the missus who was quite insistent in saying that they had a taxi waiting. Peter escaped via a side door so we all headed home on a total high.
Night two was amazing as well, again we didn’t see them come in to rehearsal but heard they’d arrived a lot later that time. You could hear Peter singing from inside however, believe doing MWTLGO. We were seated way higher that time and it did give us more of a sense of how epic the whole musical performance was. While we waited we say Gladys and Narco get loose in the theatre and have to be wrangled by a helper. It was hilarious but I do worry they’re getting enough sleep as they’re so often up all hours.
The show was even better than the night before and Peter seemed more lucid. The two of them were a lot more in sync emotionally and some warm looks and small jokes exchanged, making for more unity than the night before. A group started chanting “We love Carl” and Peter said “Carl loves you too!” And Carl seemed all coy. Peter also invited a round of applause for Carl’s hard work on making Hackney happen which was really moving and Carl seemed touched. Peter then added that he was only responsible for the “cha cha cha” version of What A Waster but it was still being worked out and “may be ready by Amsterdam” which got a laugh from everyone including Carl. The version of Grimaldi was insane that night too and even longer.
At one stage Zeus ran on stage and Carl leaned down and gave him kiss on the snoot! So cute. Carl then brought the mic down to his level and Zeus did a huge husky howl! Massive applause for that haha, then he was led off.
Watching from higher up gave us a better perspective of how amazing the staging and music was. It was really such an operatic gig and what they pulled together in a short time was miraculous.
After the show we waited outside at the stage door and it took a while for anyone to emerge. Peter stuck his head out the top window looking all fluffy and so cheerful and said hello. We were glad he stayed back to spend time with Carl and everyone backstage for a few hours though no window performance as we’d hoped! Katia and Jack were leaning out a lower window to smoke and Jack later came out to lap up some attention from the waiting fans.
Eventually Carl came out and was swamped! @carlbaratnews encouraged him to wish Sarah Happy Birthday and he gave Sarah a lovely birthday hug. They had a chat which she described in her recap. I came over and asked if he liked the Neighbours record I gave him - he said he did - then he rattled off a bunch of gifts he recalled getting from various people - some from us and some from others, and went on about how much he loved the ship cup he’d gotten from lovely Polina @bergamotandbiggles in Melbourne and said he uses it. He also mentioned he had Sarah’s record she gave him last year on his jukebox at home.
Sarah then assured him we both loved Let it Rain - he had said on stage that it’s a song not many people know or like and “If you know it I love you” - and he seemed genuinely touched. I got all emotional at that stage and looked him in those lovely eyes and said of the whole show: “It was amazing, just amazing” and I admit I got a little tearful. He looked quite moved by my ridiculously embarrassing display of fan-girl sop and grabbed me for a hard hug and a big warm smooch. His lips were so damn warm in the cold air and it was ... gah lovely. I’m glad I got to tell him how I felt.
He was then ushered off by Edie who asked how much longer he was going to be, he said ten minutes but she said let’s go now. He stayed another minute to sign my lovely pal Jessie’s ticket but then headed off. Peter left around the same time, through the side door yet again, and a van took him and the dogs away. We didn’t see him leave but a few fans did though he didn't stop.
All in all it was such an amazing night and we got to spend time with so many amazing fans from on here and beyond, who were all having an incredible time. Still can’t quite believe it all happened, and so hope to see them again soon.
It was nothing like most of us expected - nothing, but for those I spoke to that night, it was beyond our wildest dreams. I kept looking at @jessinthesky and @riddle-me-this-blog and @suchasinistergame and literally asking “Is this a dream? Have we fucking died?” It was a show that we couldn’t have imagined could ever come to be, and it was sheer, unbridled joy. I keep remembering seeing Camilla @riddle-me-this-blog just beaming and beaming and thinking wow, yep, this is the feeling I will aways have and always turn up for. No matter how much noise and naysaying there is, it’s those moments that just take us somewhere brilliant. Wank as it sounds - Arcadia, even.

Idk why but I'm super into the idea of belly dancer adashi au for some reason.
That’s a super lit!!! Belly dancing is a beautiful dance that takes a lot of breathing and muscle control.
I would hc it as Adam learning it with his younger sisters when they grew up together in Iraq and India, then teaching it to other kids in Brazil! Dance was really important to him when he was little. He loved watching his mom and dad dance together after dinner. His dad was less coordinated but always smiling and willing to learn, switching from lead and follow because his mom grew up in Colombia and could dance cumbia, salsa, and bachata and was a patient woman always willing to teach her husband.
After Adam would finish the dishes, he would ask his mom to teach him dancing and usually poke fun at his dad for stepping on his mom’s feet. Dancing was Adam’s favorite way to end the day. After doing self defense training with his dad in the morning, going to school, working on homework, and helping his dad cook/work on whatever project he was doing, it was a time that he was able to wind down and learn something for fun with his mom without the immense focus and concentration all the other tasks required.
When his mother passed away, Adam stopped dancing. That inner rhythm that came so naturally to him seemed to have diminished. He mourned, but very quickly kept himself busy, especially with taking care of his two younger twin sisters. But as they grew up, they started wanting to take belly dancing lessons. They would come home from lessons from the local teacher and they would put on the music and practice their routines. The sight of his two sisters giggling and clapping their hands while they synchronized their body rolls made Adam’s day.
His sisters didn’t know his mom as well, they were young when she passed, but he saw the same spirit she had reside within them. Soon he was alongside them, learning secondhand all the hip drops and breathing that came with the dance. When he caught on so quick, his sisters were astounded and asked that he teach them salsa like their mom.
Soon, the tradition of dancing after dinners returned. Their father would wash dishes and watch his kids in the living room dance with each other, put on music, and share stories of how when they moved (with their dad being a skilled mechanical engineer and contracting projects in other countries) the three would show all the other kids how to dance.
Fast forward to when Shiro and Adam cut loose for the first time at a party when they are 17, still “just bros and nothing more”, and Shiro watches Adam go and ask a beautiful college age girl if she knows salsa and they partner dance with such grace. Shiro is just left red in the cheeks, he wants to say it’s anger, or perhaps “jealousy”, at his friend for ditching him, but then Adam asks his hand in dancing, being patient with Shiro as he learns the moves. They spend the rest of that night learning, eventually being comfortable enough to switch leads and filled with such joy that they can’t help but laugh and touch foreheads.
Fast forward even more to when they admit they like each but are trying to keep their relationship under wraps to maintain professionalism, and decide to party a little harder after their graduation at 20. They go into the city, everyone pitching in and renting a bus to go clubbing in Platt City. Things go a little off the rails, with both of them taking several shots, Shiro accidentally winning a wet t-shirt contest, Adam shouting something in Arabic along the lines of “stare at him all you want, he’s mine for the taking”, and Shiro hugging and soaking him as payback for making him blush. Next thing they know, after Adam took his shirt off to try and dry it, a Bollywood dance song comes on and people start dancing. Adam, just tipsy enough to know what he is doing and not caring because he would rather perish than let Shiro have the last laugh, dances the full choreographed belly dance routine he has as part of his muscle memory. Every belly roll, hair flip, and hip sway is quick and practiced and really impressive. Anyone who wasn’t already attracted to Adam by his looks and composure lost their shit when they saw him take sexy to level 11 like it was nothing.
Everyone is cheering him on and he is fully looking at Shiro the entire time, and Shiro does not blush or back down, he just stares back biting his inner cheek. As the song is about to end, Shiro just hits him like a train, pulling him in by the hips swiftly and kissing him in front of everybody. It’s a ferocious kiss and Shiro does not give a single fuck if it’s in front of their cohorts. The screams intensify into wolf whistles and eventually half the crowd just chanting their names as the the kiss reaches obscene levels. Adam reciprocates, maybe more than he would like to. He figures he shouldn’t, but each slide of Shiro’s tongue against his is reducing the buzz from the alcohol and making his head fuzzy in different ways.
Matt, who was video taping up until then, and as the ultimate friend that he is, changes the song to the “Cha Cha Slide” as a distraction and pulling the fully entangled couple off the dance floor. They refuse to stop, only taking turns giving the other a chance to breathe by moving their lips to the jaw or neck. Shiro is finally able to croak out, “I didn’t know you could move like that”, and just relishes in the feeling of having the body that could move with such strength and grace within his arms. He almost considered it intimidating to date someone that sexy, but recovered when Adam just smiled against his cheek and whispered “I can do more if you would like.” ;)
Thank you for the ask! I probably may have gone in a totally different direction but I hope it brings you joy!

7:25AM
Sun sits on the stool, elbows leaning on the kitchen counter as she sips on warm milk. She swings her legs back and forth, enjoying the silence.
This is a common occurrence for Ha-Eun. Based on past experiences, it’s a lot easier - and peaceful - to get up earlier than the boys. Especially on days where she has to wash her hair. A day like this one in particular. Her hair is still soaking, drenching the back of her oversized sweater.
After a few moments of repetitive slurping, rustling is heard from outside the dorm. In a slight panic, Ha-Eun glances at the door before soon reassuring herself that it’s probably just one of the boys moving in their sleep. She stands up, walking back into the bedroom when suddenly, the dorms front door swings open. A deafening crash and beeping storms through the once tranquil house.
Sun makes eye contact with a camera, her mouth gaping open while the rest of the staff pile in the bedrooms screaming “First four! Get ready and in the car!” She looks down at the floor, seeing a mixture of ceramics and lukewarm milk dispersed around her feet. Looking back at the camera, she exclaims “You guys scared me! I thought someone was breaking in!”
The cameraman chuckles as Sun grabs the bin and a wad of tissue in an attempt to clean up the mess she made. Meanwhile, Moonbin tirelessly shuffles out of the bedroom, gathering his coat and shoes, almost stepping on the shattered glass. Ha-Eun hurriedly puts her arm out.
“Careful! I dropped my mug.”
Moonbin crouches down next to her, leaning his head on her shoulder and sluggishly pulling on his trainers.
“Are you hurt?” He mumbles.
“No, I just got shocked at the staff coming in but don’t let me bother you. Go get ready.” She finishes placing the ceramics into the bin and turns her body to face Moonbin. He’s sitting with one knee to his chest and the other sprawled out in front of him. His foot slips out of the shoe. In defeat, Moonbin lays on the floor. Sun seizes his foot and puts it in the discarded trainer. She ties his shoelaces, stands up and takes hold of both of Moonbin’s arms, pulling him up.
“Come on Binnie, go to the car.” She ruffles his hair and lightly pushes him towards the door. When Moonbin finally goes out the door along with Eunwoo, MJ, Rocky and Sanha, Ha-Eun continues to clean up the milk. Most of the staff run after the members so the only ones left in the dorm are Jinjin, Ha-Eun and a cameraman. Jinjin pulls on his coat and stumbles towards the door. Just as he’s about to walk out, Sanha forces his way back into the apartment with a groan. The trio make their way back into one of the bedrooms, placing themselves on top of the mountain of blankets.
“I don’t care, I’ll just go back to sleep!” Jinjin exclaims as he lays on his back and covers himself with the closest blankets. Sun laughs at him. After a little while, they all stand out the apartment, reading the paper that the staff handed them. The note asked the trio to make their way to the address stated. They were also given a phone and 6000 won.
“Do we have to get a bus pass?” Ha-Eun asked, “I don’t have one and I doubt you guys do either.”
“We could get one time passes...” Sanha suggested, Jinjin nodded at him.
The three started walking down to the station, Jinjin searching on the mobile phone they were giving on how to get there.
“I’m so hungry!” Sanha complained, “Can we spend 5000 won on the tickets and 1000 won on something to eat? I’ve not had breakfast.”
“I don’t think we’ll have enough money for breakfast Sanha, I’m sure there’ll be food when we get to the address... wherever it is...” Ha-Eun replied, the pair continue walking, not realising that Jinjin was beginning to gradually walk slower and slower.
Once Jinjin was finally dragged by Sanha, the three began to run towards the station. At the ticket machine, the total cost of the tickets came to 5550 won. They continue walking down the station, coming across a small bakery on the side. They stare at it in awe before the phone starts vibrating. On the screen, appears Eunwoo who’s sitting with a warm coffee in one of his hands. Ha-Eun stands on her tiptoes so that she can be seen on the camera.
“Hi Eunwoo!” she waves, “is the coffee good?”
“Sun, you don’t like coffee...”
“I know but I’m cold!” She shows of her thin coat to him.
“Where are you?” Eunwoo asks before spotting lots of people speed-walking in the background, along with bright signs, “Are you in a subway station?”
MJ, Moonbin and Rocky gather around Eunwoo to see Jinjin turning the camera around to show the bakery in front of them. The boys at the salon laugh and begin teasing the three, offering them food to which they reply by ending the call.
“They’re so lucky!” Sanha exclaims, Sun pats him on the back.
“It’s okay, we’ll be there soon and you can eat as much as you want.”
In the subway, Sun stands sandwiched between Jinjin and Sanha. It was very crowded to the point where they couldn’t move. Ha-Eun looks at the camera in front of them and starts pulling faces while Jinjin comments to the side that they don’t have any makeup on.
“It’s embarrassing for Sanha and I but at least Sun is here. Even though she’s putting us to shame.” He whispers, putting one hand over the side of his mouth.
After the subway ride, Sun, Jinjin and Sanha begin walking down to the salon. They begin making up their own tune in hopes of curing their boredom.
“Losers, lo-losers, losers, lo-losers.” They chant with the occasional whine from Sun about the chilly weather.
“Why didn’t you put on a thicker coat?” Jinjin asks.
“I don’t have one!”
“Oh gosh...”
“Do you think other members will be waiting for us?” Sanha questions to which Jinjin replies.
“Probably not.”
However, as they continue walking down the road, a tall figure comes into view.
“There is someone!” Sanha shouts before the three run towards the end of the road. As they got closer, Eunwoo began walking towards them. Sun runs right into his arms in an attempt to warm herself up. Eunwoo hands Jinjin the coffee he’s holding and then rubs his hands against Ha-Eun’s
“Your hands are like ice! Quick go inside and warm yourself up.”
__________________________________
After having piles of blankets thrown over her body, and an intense makeup session, Astro stand in a row in the studio. They are all wearing different colour jumpers.
Jinjin claps his hands together and begins talking. “Today we are here to film our intro for this series. The concept appears to be seven power rangers.”
“Then what is Ha-Eun wearing?” Rocky asks. They all look over to her, seeing that she’s wearing a jumper like theirs, except it has all different colours on it.
“Oh! She’s wearing all the colours that we are!” MJ strikes a dramatic pose, “She’s the ultimate power ranger!”
They all laugh before Jinjin continues “Let’s all strike a pose!”
When it’s finally Sun’s turn for the photo shoot, she appears awkward in the beginning but gradually becomes more comfortable. She grins at the camera and puts her hands on her hips. Behind the studio, Rocky and Eunwoo were watching, sipping on coffee.
“She’s trying to look so intimidating! Look at her face!” Eunwoo chuckles.
“It’s because of her height.” Rocky states, “It makes her look so much cuter compared to the rest of us. Even MJ and Jinjin.”
Just then, Ha-Eun finishes shooting and runs towards the mocking duo.
“Hey! What are you saying about me? I’m not cute!”

Use Me -Chapter 1: A Good Day Gone Bad
Paring: Dolph Ziggler X Original Female Character
Warnings: none in this chapter
Summary: Hazel is Dolph’s valet - for now. Bigger and better things are coming, far above being a valet for the show-off. When she calls to tell her boyfriend of two years the good news, things go from being an amazing day to the worst day of her life.
Word Count: 2,294
Hazel sat at the set up wooden table in catering, her phone in hand and a plate that once held her lunch sitting before her. She was eating before her appearance that night on Raw as a valet for her best friend. She wasn’t quite sure just where her storyline was going with that role as Dolph’s kayfabe love interest, that was until ten minutes ago. She had actually just had a meeting with creative to talk about where they were going next with her ring persona and she was eager to tell her best friend what they had decided for her.
“Hey there, dollface,” she heard besides her. Dolph pulled out the chair next to Hazel and took a seat with a plate of food in his hand, “You ready for tonight?”
Hazel locked her phone and set it down on the table. She turned towards him and smiled, “Sure am,” she said excitedly.
“Woah, I’m not that exciting. Where is this energy coming from?” he asked as he ate.
Hazel bit her lip, “Exciting things are happening, Dolph. Exciting things,” she told him.
“Well, can I know what exciting things?” he asked.
Harper contemplated, “Nah, I think I’m gonna make you wait like everyone else.”
He playfully pushed her arm, “Jerk.”
“Hey, not even Justin knows. All I can say is that good things are coming, my friend,” she stole a fry from his plate and popped it in her mouth with a smile.
“Speaking of your boytoy, how is her?” Dolph asked. He and Justin were acquaintances at best, not having much time to hang out and become friends, but they liked each other well enough. Justin hadn’t exactly been thrilled that Dolph would be kissing his girl, but he understood that it was work and nothing more.
“He’s okay. I haven’t actually talked to him all day. Actually, we haven’t talked other than texting in a few days but I understand, we’re both fairly equally busy. I’ll call him when we get to the hotel later tonight. Now come on, we got a match to get ready for.” Hazel stood and got rid of her paper plate, then headed off to the locker room to get ready for the night. Her valet look was simple, yet so cute. A black skater skirt, a hot pink pin-up crop top and hot pink doc martens. When they first came up with the love interest storyline for her and Dolph, they decided that her outfit should match up with his own, so the choice for hot pink was obvious. She headed out to get into hair and makeup when she was joined by Dolph.
“Hey, good lookin’. I gotcha something,” Dolph said as Hazel took a seat in the makeup chair. He held up his hand and Hazel realized a necklace dangled from his clasped hand. It was his pendant, a hot pink DZ printed on a black background.
She took it with an excited yelp, “Dolph! This is so cute! I’ve never seen this before,” she said as she clasped it around her neck.
“It’s brand new, just came in. Merch table had some in stock so I snagged one for ya, figured it’s not only a great addition to your look but also some free advertisement.” He gave her his wide, cheesy grin as she shook her head at him.
“Ah, there's the truth. You’re just using me for advertising your new stuff,” she scolded him.
He shrugged, “Guilty as charged. Hey, I’m gonna go find Rowan and Ryback, I’ll see you in a bit when you’re done,” he said and took off. Hazel talked with the hair and makeup team as they worked; the makeup was some pretty nude colors, but obviously, a bit overdone so it would read on camera and the hair, they decided, was up in a high ponytail. When they gave her the all clear, she took off towards the gorilla in search for her boys.
“Hey guys,” she said as she found Dolph standing with his Team Cena buddies.
“Hi there, pretty lady. Don’t you know how to not show up the rest of us?” Ryback said as she stood next to her partner.
She laughed, “You guys, you’ll make me blush,” she told them. The four had become fairly close since Dolph, Ryback and Rowan had joined Cena and Big Show to take down The Authority. They had won, her kayfabe boo being the only remaining member of the team, but Seth had threatened Edge’s life and well, John had no choice but to give him what he wanted: The Authority back. Now they had to face the music, Hazel included because she had backed Dolph.
“We’re all set,” a crew member told the group. Rowan went out first, then Ryback, then Dolph with Hazel at his side. The crowd was in an uproar, cheering for Team Cena (minus John, who never seemed to be around after Survivor Series) and booing Team Authority. They entered the ring, Dolph entering first and then helping Hazel in after him by taking her hand and stepping on the bottom rung.
The Authority rubbed it in that John let them down and that they were back, so actions had to be taken to punish the team that opposed them. They went down the line and doled out the punishment, Rowan getting thirty days suspension, Ryback getting sixty and Dolph getting ninety. When they made it to Hazel, they debated on the mic about what to do about her.
“Well, she didn’t exactly have anything to do with the match, per se, but she did express her support for the cause and even came out here during the event,” Seth argued, stepping towards her slowly and almost seductively. “I mean, why shove such a pretty face into the dark for any number of days. A face like that should be seen every day if you ask me,” Seth looked down at Hazel, his face rather close to her own.
Dolph put his arm around Hazel’s waist and pulled her closer to him, “Back it up, pal. That’s my girl you’re undressing with your eyes,” Dolph warned.
Seth smiled and took a few steps back and turned to converse with his team members to themselves. Once they were done, they turned back and focused their attention on Hazel, “After some consideration, we came to a solution. You have one of two options: Fifteen days unpaid leave, and once you return we make your life a living hell. Or, you ask for forgiveness and join Team Authority,” Triple H told her. As she went to respond, he held up his hand, “Oh, and if you join us, all the remaining members of Team Cena will get off scot-free. No suspension, no unfair matches, nothing. You join us, you save them.”
Hazel chewed her lips and Dolph pulled her so she could look at him. He urged her against it, telling her that he’d be fine and that they could take it. Ryback and Rowan seconded him and told her not to do it. Hazel turned back, “Do you know why I supported Team Cena in the first place? It’s because I believed in the cause, because like my friend Rowan here, I don’t like bullies and you lot are the biggest bullies I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with. If I do this, if I join you, I turn against everything I believe in. So no, I and my teammates would rather take our suspension if you don’t mind.” She dropped her arm down to her side and stepped back.
“We’re sorry to hear that, we really are. You’re an asset that could thrive here on Team Authority, but we’ll give you one last chance to change your mind. We need some time to think things through,” Steph said and turned back to the group. They left the ring and kept walking until they made it to the entrance stage, “Okay, we’ve had some more time to talk and we decided not to suspend you at all. No, in fact, we decided that instead of that, you’re all fired!” Steph declared. Hazel paled and looked to her friends in shock, then understanding overcame her face; her last chance to change her mind.
“Wait!” Hazel exclaimed, “Wait! Don’t fire them, I’ll join you!” she yelled, her free hand up in the air in surrender, “If you promise not to fire them, I’ll join you.”
Dolph spun to her in shock, as did Rowan and Ryback, all three men telling her not to, “Don’t do this, please,” Dolph pleaded.
She pushed through them and stood in front of them, “I’ll join you.”
The crowd was loud with cries of disapproval and it made Hazel’s heart swell; they wanted her to stay face. A wicked grin broke out on the faces of Steph, Triple H and Seth. “That’s what I was hoping you’d say,” Steph said, “We accept.” Hazel left the ring and joined the open arms of Stephanie and then walked out with them, leaving her friends in the ring in shock and disappointment.
“That was so cool, did you hear how reactive that crowd was?” Hazel asked as she and the others broke through the curtain and into the backstage area.
“They sure do love you,” Seth told her with a grin, “But be ready for next show, and be prepared for the booing and the ‘you sold out’ chants they love so much,” he told her. She could tell it got to him a bit, the way the universe hated him so much. Hazel wouldn’t lie, she was little nervous about that reaction, it felt so good to be cheered and adored.
Shortly after, she was joined by her other friends, “Man, a little warning next time. ‘Big things coming’ indeed,” Dolph said as he came up behind her. She was talking with Show and Seth and didn’t see him coming.
“Sorry, I wanted to keep it as secret as possible,” she told him.
He wrapped an arm around her shoulder, “So I guess you won’t be needing the necklace,” he said with a chuckle.
She laughed, “Guess not, but it’s been fun wearing it while it lasted. I’m keeping it, by the way.”
“Theif, what else of mine do you wanna steal, huh?” he asked and poked at her side, “First my tank top, then Rowan’s sweatshirt, Ryback’s cut up shirt and now this?”
Hazel shrugged, “What can I say, I like supporting my boys.”
“Stealing our clothes is not the way to do it,” he exclaimed with a laugh. He turned his attention to Big Show and Seth, “Be careful with this one, articles of clothes will start to go missing when she’s around.” He lightly pushed her shoulder and then took off the change.
“A thief huh?” Seth asked with a grin, “That’s alright, I think I got a few sweatshirts you can steal if you want.”
“What can I say, I love comfy things and so things that are one or two sizes bigger than me are my favorite article of clothing,” she defended herself.
“If that’s what you’re after, I got a few things you can have,” Show commented, “I have a feeling my stuff is about five or six sizes bigger than you.”
“Hey, there you guys are. Come on, we’re all riding together to the hotel,” Kane called as he walked over, “Hazel, you’re with us.” She nodded and split from the group to get her things from the locker room, deciding that what she had on was good enough to wear to the hotel.
Once they were outside, however, she realized her mistake. It was freezing and she all but bolted to the car, much to the amusement of her team members. Kane helped her load her stuff up and then he got in the driver’s seat, Big Show sliding into the front seat after Hazel refused his offer for her to sit there. Seth laughed at her again and shrugged off his hoodie and passed it to her, “But what about you?” she asked.
He asked her off, “I’m pretty warm already and you’re practically wearing nothing, so please, I insist.” She slid on the hoodie and then pulled out her phone, shooting her boyfriend a text saying she would call him when they got back to the hotel. He didn’t respond, but she knew he had to be busy, probably in the shower or something.
When they arrived to the hotel in the next city over, Hazel was told she’d be staying with Seth while Kane and Show would be in the next room over. She was pretty relieved, she was friends with the other guys, but she was closer with Seth. They had known each other in NXT and she felt much more comfortable staying with him. Of course, she’d rather be staying with Dolph, but she knew that she had to stay with those she was seen with on screen for the sake of not breaking kayfabe. Seth muttered something about grabbing a shower before bed, so she used the time alone to call her boyfriend, Justin.
The call rang for a few moments before it picked up, “Hello?” a female voice answered.
Hazel’s heart picked up, but she remained calm, it sounded like his sister, Sarah, “Hey is that you Sarah?”
“No, this is Katelyn. Who is calling?” the girl responded. Katelyn, we didn’t know any Katelyns.
“I’m sorry, who are you?” Hazel asked, trying not to panic. As she waited, Seth emerged from the bathroom in his sleep clothes and threw her a curious look when he saw her face.
“Katelyn, I’m Justin’s girlfriend,” she responded.

Forget Me Not Chapter 14 ~Off Key~
Alcohol might have dulled her sense of self-consciousness, but Claire was having too much of a great time to care. She focused on trying to keep up with the tune and lyrics scrolling on the blue screen of the electronic feed. Her awareness was far from the hoots and catcalls coming from her audience. There was only her, the music, and of course, Geillis, bumping and grinding to the song they sang.
Momentarily staring into the harsh stage lights that blurred faces and turned patrons into silhouettes, at the front she saw Frank. His jaw had gone slack, and his expression was a mixture of surprise and awe as an appreciative grin started to spread across his face. Back in high school, she wondered what she would have given to see that look thrown at her by him. Now it meant nothing. He was just another guy she used to know who happened to be in the same place as her. Nevertheless, familiarity made Claire winked at him before turning her attention to the lyrics once more.
Don't cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me?  She sang.
Absorbed in the music, it took a while for Claire to notice the gradual hush that descended upon the pub. Those singing along trailed off to silence. Geillis had ceased her singing and dancing too and instead, muttered an  "Uh-oh,"  onto the microphone. Confused, she stood still, as the music continued to play in the background without their voices, and the stage lights dimmed slightly making their surrounding and the people below her more visible.
Following Geillis' line of vision, Claire's eyes slowly trailed downward to find Jamie at the foot of the stage, glaring at her. And not far behind him stood Willie.
Claire blinked twice.  Oh, shite!  She saw Jamie plucked a tumbler of unattended whisky from a nearby table, and without taking his eyes off her, downed it with one gulp.  What a sight!  His copper hair was dishevelled as if he'd ran his hands through it repeatedly, and a cord of vein strained out on the side of his neck. His fists were clenching and unclenching, and his jaws snapped side to side as if he was grinding his molars. Under his leather jacket, he wore a grey t-shirt paired with jeans, and he looked like a shuddering mass of bunched muscles.
"Scram, Jamie. You're cramping my style," she told him and the entire pub, unaware she was speaking onto the microphone. "And interrupting my singing."
Before she knew what was happening, Jamie climbed on stage and grabbed her elbow. "What the hell are ye doin'?" he hissed. "I can see yer knickers from down there." Shrugging off his jacket, he clumsily draped it over her shoulders, almost knocking her backwards.
Confused at his revelation, she looked down at her attire and shrugged. As far as she was concerned, she was dressed modestly, so she couldn't understand what the fuss was about. Maybe Jamie was as tipsy as her, she thought. "You saw my undies? I bought them for you. Do you like them?" she whispered, forgetting she still held the microphone. Her eyes widened when everyone around them, howled and hooted.
Jamie groaned. He grabbed the microphone not too gently off her hand and tried to steer her down the stage. "We're going home now, and we're going to have a long talk."
"I don't want to go home yet."
"If ye don't come with me, I'll throw ye over my shoulders in front of these people. Would ye like that?"
She yanked her arms back. "You're bloody tetchy, Jamie! You used to be fun."
"Sassenach, ye're drunk!"
A new song started to play through the speakers, drawing her attention to the screen. Claire's lips broadened into a wicked smile as a devilish idea popped into her head. "And you have the microphone. House rules state whoever has the microphone sings. Too bad Jamie, you have to sing now."
"Aye, that's right!" the DJ chimed in, winking at Claire, as he enjoyed the show unfolding on stage.
Jamie frowned at the DJ before turning his attention to Claire once more. "If ye think I'm going to sing because of some stupid house rules, think again," Jamie retorted, leaning in close, their noses almost touching.
"If you sing, I will let you take me home. How about that?" Claire dared, feeling a tad bit bad as she looked at Jamie looking broody, frustrated and devastatingly handsome, but she couldn't resist. She promised herself when they get home later, she'll give him something to smile about.
Jamie scowled in response as he drew out an infuriated sigh when everyone around them "ooohhed," cheered and applauded. The staff from the hotel, including his mates, were already on their feet, chanting his name repeatedly. Obviously, they have heard the challenge uttered over the speakers.
"Well, Jamie me' lad, what is it going to be?" She quirked an eyebrow at him and folded her arms in front of her, waiting for his reply.  Christ, what's up with me today? I'm slaying dragons left, right and centre.
His eyes darkened. "Ye're never going to make this easy for me are ye?"
She gave him a half-hearted shove on his chest. "Do you think because we've known each other so long, you don't have to try harder? So, what is it going to be?"
Jamie! Jamie! Jamie!  The chant was relentless, and the crowds' chorus became louder.
He uttered curses under his breath as he realised there was no way out. "Ye'll sorely pay for this, Sassenach," he muttered, as he took his place at the centre of the platform, resulting in loud cheers and feet stomping.
Claire smiled and blew him a kiss as she stepped off the stage to join Geillis and Louise, who were both smirking up at him like a couple of loons.
As the lyrics came up on the screen, Jamie began to sing or at least tried to, in a discordant tone and cracked baritone voice. In between verses wherein he sang something about being a virgin, touched for the very first time, he launched ominous looks in her direction with foreboding promises in his eyes. His warning glances only resulted in making her grin wider. Behind her stood the kitchen staff from the hotel, including Murtagh and Willie who were doubled over laughing as they watched, wiping tears from their eyes. After a minute passed, as much as she was enjoying herself, she decided to put him out of misery.
Still tipsy and wobbly on her feet, Claire climbed back on to the stage intending to help Jamie finished the song, but the look of relief he cast her way, gave her a sudden urge to kiss him. Instead of singing along, she rose onto her tiptoes and wrapped her arms around his neck, taking him by surprise. As she kissed him, the whole pub erupted into uproarious applause and shrill whistles, with some of the customers banging their hands on their tables.
Jamie tried to reel himself back, seemingly conscious of their spectators, but he found himself encircling his arms around her waist and lifting her off the ground, instead. "If ye think I'm letting ye off easy because of the stunt ye just pulled, ye have another thing coming, Sassenach," he growled into her ears, barely audible among the whoops, whistles and catcalls being levelled at them.
"Is that so?" Unfazed by his warning, she planted another resounding kiss on his lips, before nuzzling her face against his neck. "Jamie?"
"Hmmm?"
"Take me home now, please."
His answering laugh vibrated against her chest. "Och aye, ye're definitely coming home now. I hate to think what state ye'll be in tomorrow morning." Unable to help himself, he lowered his head to kiss her deeply and hungrily. "Christ, Sassenach, I'm still mad at ye, but I miss this..." he muttered against her lips. Powerless to pull away from her embrace, he swooped in for another kiss, almost crushing her against him.
"Hello there, the both of ye! Time to get a room, eh?" Geillis' voice pierced through her daze as she brought them back to the reality of their surrounding.
Jamie extracted himself hesitantly but kept his eyes locked on Claire. "Shall we?"
As if waking up from a dream, Claire suddenly became conscious of every pair of eyes trained on them, making her blushed profusely, as the excitement of the evening started to wear off the effects of the alcohol.
Noticing her sudden discomfort and not waiting for her to answer, Jamie reached down to take her hands and took her out of the spotlight, leading them towards the exit. As they went through the crowd, the customers in the pub continued to cheer, and shout banters. Except for Laoghaire and Geneva who regarded her with open contempt to which she ignored, too muddled to care. Glancing over her shoulders, she saw Geillis and Louise following alongside Willie, conversing animatedly.
Once everyone had piled out of the pub, they all stood there for a while laughing over the incident.
Claire turned her head on Jamie's shoulder and groaned. "Jesus, I'll never hear the end of this for as long as I live, right? Please, say I'm wrong in that assumption."
Geillis shook her head. "Naah, you only got weeks of this coming. After that, you will have done something to better tonight." She paused and changed the subject suddenly, as she looked at Louise and Willie. "Right, naebody drives home tonight. We've all had a few to drink, so I suggest we all head over to the house. Louise, ye can stay with me in my room and the rest of ye, sort yersel' out," she directed with aplomb.
Stifling a yawn, Louise nodded, too tired to care. "Fine, I'll make breakfast tomorrow then."
"Fine by me," Willie replied. "I need to be in the hotel early in the morning for the delivery so I can jog there and back in time for breakfast."
Jamie shifted besides Claire impatiently. "Willie, ye can take the spare bedroom. Claire and I will..."
Claire looked up at Jamie and frowned.
"Oh, no Sassenach. Ye don't get to frown at me like that after what ye made do there in the pub." He turned his attention to the rest of the group. "Right, that's settled then. You lot walk ahead. I need to speak to Claire in private."
Before Claire could say anymore, Geillis, Louise and Willie were already walking away, chatting among themselves. Without a word, Jamie backed her into a darkened alleyway and pinned her against the wall with his body.
"Right, Jamie, I know you're still mad at me. I'm sorry and not sorry because I just wanted to..."
Her words trailed off as Jamie dipped his head and bit the flesh just beneath her ear. "Aye, I'm still mad at ye, Sassenach." He slid his mouth up and down the column of her neck as one hand reached down to knead her bottom. "I told ye to stay put, and you didnae listen. And I find ye in the pub singing and moving seductively to a roomful of men. I didn't like it one bit to see those men looking at ye like ye were their last meal. What am I supposed to do about that?"
"I have no idea," she breathed, her head falling back against the wall, all of a sudden feeling dizzy. She wasn't sure if it was the alcohol or Jamie's kisses making her head spin. "You tell me."
"Maybe I ought to put ye over my knees and smack that wee bottom of yers." He brought his mouth down, his tongue twining with her own as one hand gave her arse a firm slap, making her squeak and jump.
"James Fraser, you will do no such thing!" She tried to sound firm, but the tone of her voice didn't sound convincing in her ears. Instead, she curled her fingers around his collar and pulled his head down for a deeper kiss.
With a groan, he heaved her off the ground with his hips, thrusting once so she could feel him. "And on top of all that, I saw that wink ye gave to Frank, ye wee flirt. How do ye think I feel about that, huh, Sassenach?" he muttered, licking her bottom lip.
Sucking in her breath, she tried to suppress a moan. "Jamie, it didn't mean anything. You know that. Take me home now, please." Claire knew if they stayed where they were any longer, Jamie was bound to take her right there and then.
Jamie swallowed a curse. With a stiff nod, he stepped back and grabbed her hand once more, pulling her down the sidewalk. They walked in electrically charged silence as they made their way to the house.
Once they got there, the house was silent, and bar the light from the kitchen, everywhere else was in the dark. Obviously, everyone had retired to their rooms to nurse the effects of intoxication, at least in Geillis' and Louise's case. They didn't stop to linger in the living area to see if anyone was awake, and the next thing Claire knew, they were in her bedroom tumbling onto the bed, Jamie's hard body coming down on top of her.
Planting both elbows on both sides of her head, Jamie looked into her eyes as he wedged himself between her thighs, rocking them both and sending pleasure bolting through her centre. Claire could still see a hint of anger in his eyes, but it was quickly diminishing to be replaced with a haze of lust. She knew there was still hard conversations to be had between them, but for now, it can wait.
She wiggled her hips underneath him as she pulled the hem of her dress to her waist. "Please, kiss me now, Jamie," she pleaded softly.
He groaned as he latched his mouth to her bottom lip, sucking at the flesh. "Christ, Sassenach, ye have nae idea what it felt like to see those men looking at ye. It felt like my guts were being torn out. I wanted to throw them all out of the pub one by one, including my brother," he rasped into her mouth, pulling back by the barest of inches. His hips continued to grind against her as she wrapped her legs around him. "Ye redeemed yersel' kissing me in front of those wankers. At least, they know ye're mine."
"Jamie, I'm sorry. There's been no one else but you right from the start. Trust that, please. Oh God please, don't stop kissing me. I'm yours. Touch me now, please," she whimpered as she tried to kiss the hollow of his neck. She knew she was speaking incoherently.
"Sssh, I'm so sorry too." Reaching for her right breast, he stroke his thumb against her nipple as it strained against the material of her bra and her dress. "I shouldn't be mad at ye at all when I know I'm causing ye heartache by bringing Annalise to Lallybroch. But I'm such a jealous fool, and I cannae help it when it comes to ye."
Claire thrashed her head to the side as his hand found their way between her thighs. "It's alright, Jamie. All is forgiven. Take me now, please."
Seeing the urgency in her eyes, Jamie rose from his position and reached into his back pocket. He froze.   Oh, fuck!
Bewildered, Claire stopped her movements underneath him when she saw the frustration on his face. "Jamie, what is it?"
"Condoms. I don't have one with me."
"What? Why?"
His eyes narrowed on her as he sat back on his heels. "Weel, we haven't slept together since I came back from France and I dinna think tonight would be the night. And besides, I wasn't exactly prowling around for someone else to warrant having one in my pocket." He shook his head, somberly.
"Oh well." Claire pushed herself off the bed and started taking off her clothes and kicking off her boots.
"Christ Claire, what are ye doing?" he asked in a strangled groan when he saw her semi-undress state. "We can't. Not if I can't protect ye." Sweat started to break on his forehead. "Are ye trying to kill me?"
"What?" She unhooked her bra from behind and let it fall down her arms. "I'm getting ready for bed. We'll just have to do it another night."
He nodded, looking like a schoolboy denied his sweets. Then his eyes lit up as an idea registered on his face, and he jerked his thumb towards the door. "Erm, maybe I could ask the girls or my brother. Maybe they..."
Claire's eyes widened as his meaning sunk in. "Hold that thought, Jamie. No way you are going out there to ask my friends or Willie for condoms. Good God, if you did that, I'll never recover, trust me." She cringed as she tried to imagine it. Not a moment too soon, it was her turn to have an idea. "But there's a vending machine in the pub's loo. I think it sells condoms."
To her amusement, before she could finish her sentence, he was already heading for the door as he buttoned his jeans. The pub wasn't very far, and he should be back in a matter of minutes. She smiled as she listened to Jamie, walked briskly through the house as he made his way outside. She could hear his boots crunching on the gravel as he jogged in the direction of the pub. Throwing back the duvet, she slipped in and flopped back onto the pillow. She closed her eyes to rest for a bit until Jamie returned, but then within a minute, tiredness took over, and she fell asleep.
..........
For fuck sake, I've only been gone for five minutes. What have I done to deserve this?
He had returned to find a sleeping Claire sprawled naked in bed, her wild curls hiding her face. Jamie wanted to cry. Burying his face in his hands, he groaned miserably into the silent room. In as much as he desired to wake her up, he refrained from doing so, knowing she had had a long day at work followed by a very interesting evening at the pub.
Nought can be done now.
Feeling restless, he dragged his T-shirt over his head and unbuckled his jeans before placing them neatly on the chair. Taking out his phone from his pant's pocket, he noticed a text message from Ned Gowan's secretary. It was sent 30 minutes ago.  So late at night?  It said the lawyer wanted to see him and Willie, tomorrow when he returned from London. He had some news.
Placing the phone on the bedside table, he gently rolled Claire onto her side and stretched out behind her. It felt the most natural thing to have her sleeping form against him. Tomorrow, they would be having some serious discussions. And tomorrow, hopefully, Ned Gowan's news would bring home some clarity. But that's another day's problem. For now, his main concern was trying to get some sleep with his torturous erection.

Up Top - Chapter 5
Chapter 5 – Kaptured
1 Hour, 32 Minutes
One of the masked figures pointed a razor sharp spear at Gulliver’s neck as the others continued chanting (cha-sam, cha-sam, cha-sam). He cleared his throat overdramatically.
‘Ladies and gentlemen! I am Chief Christopher of the Chasm!’ He paused for his company to give him a brief applause. ‘It looks like we’ve caught ourselves some geese, all ready to cook. Chief Gulliver of the Wingspans what do you have to say for yourself?’ He spoke like a game show host.
‘Not got the foggiest, really,’ Gulliver answered, looking down at the spear.
‘Alright then, should have known from the very start that you’d be a dead end, perhaps your team mates have brought the wisdom with them instead.’ He looked at Maple. ‘Ceri! If you’d be so kind as to point your weapon- are those nun-chucks? They look fan-tastic! Yeah. Just threaten Mr Suit over here.’
One of the masked figures waved makeshift nun-chucks around awkwardly. They were made up of led pipes and a metal chain. Maple didn’t step out of line, but it was more to do with the spear at Gulliver’s throat than the threat of blunt force trauma.
‘So,’ Christopher addressed Maple, ‘I see no feather, you’re not with these guys, are you? I can’t tell what you’re supposed to be. Ah, I bet you’re with the Magicians, you can’t trick me that easily!’ He smiled sinisterly. ‘Making alliances now, are you? You should know that’s not allowed.’
‘No,’ Maple defended himself. ‘I’m actually from-‘
‘He is with us,’ Maggie jumped in. ‘I told him not to keep the feather in his pocket but he didn’t listen. Dropped it down below.’
‘Doesn’t look like a bird to me,’ Christopher murmured suspiciously. ‘Isn’t that your theme?’
‘He’s a penguin, of course,’ Maggie improvised.
‘Oh yeah? What’s your name “penguin”?’
‘He’s named after the sound a penguin makes.’
‘A honk?’
‘Absolutely.’ Maggie cursed herself for thinking a penguin made a whoop sound, which would have made a better name than- ‘Honky. Honky the Penguin.’
‘Well well, I suppose that does make sense. I’m a little disappointed, to be frank, I thought we might have caught you breaking rules,’ Christopher said, the tone of suspicion lifting from his voice. ‘Right then, I don’t think we’ve got anything of interest here, just hand over your goods and-‘
‘Hang on!’ Maple shouted, much to the dismay of his companions. ‘That’s a terrible name! Down below “honky” means-‘ Maple stopped himself suddenly, about six syllables too late.
Chief Christopher raised his eyebrows. ‘Aha!’ he cried, making Gulliver flinch and shield his head. ‘Down below? My ears are not deceiving me, are they? You have brought me something most interesting!’
Maggie glared at Maple.
‘Carl!’ Chief Christopher pointed a finger dramatically at one of the others. ‘We’re taking this further. If you please, take Caitlin and prepare the Pit of Numerous Spikes. Everyone else, round ‘em up!’
Two of the Chasm underlings ran back the way they came, the rest twirled their lassos. Chief Christopher kept his spear at Gulliver’s neck.
A lasso landed around Maple and tightened, tying his arms to his sides. The same happened to Po and Maggie.
‘And, if you could just tie yourself up,’ Christopher said, handing a rope to Gulliver. ‘Then we’ll be ready to go!’
As Gulliver tied himself up, the two Chasm members who had run off came back carrying an child’s paddling pool. They placed it down on the rooftop and threw in a handful of spiky metal objects that Maple vaguely remembered being toys called ‘Jacks’.
‘Here it is folks! The Pit
Of Numerous Spikes!’ Chief Christopher announced, arms stretched out. ‘Now begins the interrogation, we’ll play a game of trivia for it! Loser gets dunked in the pit! Are you ready, folks?’
Christopher beamed at them. Nobody said anything.
‘What’s wrong guys? Not digging the concept? You don’t look scared or excited.’ This wasn’t entirely true, Gulliver alone was both, but the rest were unimpressed.
‘Well,’ Maple said, risking speaking out of turn again. ‘It’s just not that much of a threat, I mean it’ll hurt but
it probably won’t hurt a considerable amount. I stepped on a plug once, that really hurt. Maybe a kiddie pool full of plugs would-‘
‘There is a plug, it’s how they let the water out.’
‘No, an electric plug.’
‘That would electrocute everyone in the pit, though.’
‘Not if there’s not any water- that’s not the point, I’m just saying little spiky toys aren’t much of a-‘
‘Yeah I’m gonna stop you right there and double down a little. How about instead of dunking you in the pool- uh, pit- I just chop off a hand for every wrong answer? (No passes either, I mean seriously, house rules just drag out the game for everyone).’
Maggie gave Maple another lethal glare. Maple was sure that’s what a spider’s eyes would look like if you mashed them all into one pair. He continued speaking anyway, knowing if he kept digging he’d possibly dig a hole deep enough that he could just start a new society of underground people who weren’t trying to cut off anybody’s hands.
‘Well, cutting off our hands doesn’t really fit your theme,’ he advised. ‘Dropping us into something- that does.’
‘What do you mean, exactly?’
‘You’re the Chasm. You drop people into stuff, like chasms.’
‘Chasms?’ Christopher thought for a moment. ‘Oh! No no no, we’re not Chasm with a “C”, we’re Kazzam. With a “K”. Two “Z”s’
The Wingspans broke out in a hushed “ohh” of realisation. Chief Kristopher continued.
‘Did you think this entire time that we were all about dropping people from high places? Wow, now that I think about it, we do that quite a bit. Nah, we’re all about show business. KAZZAM!’ He performed a crude, quite embarrassing jazz hands as he said this.
‘Well, to be fair it was Chief Po that said-‘
Maple’s eyes widened suddenly. The look on Kristopher’s face made it clear to Maple that this time he had dug himself into a cave filled with poisonous snake-bat hybrids.
‘Chief Po?’ Kristopher asked. ‘Now that brings up even more questions.’ He leaned and stared at Maggie. ‘You must be the Chief, then. Seems to me that you’ve been taking the lead.’
Maple glanced at the real Po but he was staring down at his feet, refusing to engage.
‘That’s right,’ Maggie said confidently. ‘What of it?’
‘Oh my good friend, I do believe you know full well what of it!’ Kristopher boomed. ‘Perhaps you should be our contestant for this evening!’
‘It’s not the eve-‘
‘Please! No speaking until you’re ready to answer my questions! Starting now, any wrong moves will lose you an appendage!’
Kristopher theatrically pointed a finger at Maggie, his other hand raised into the air, fingers splayed.
‘Question number uno!’ He pulled his hands in and started reading off an invisible card. ‘True or false: it is against rooftop law to declare a chief who is not the eldest of the gang.’
‘True,’ Maggie answered.
‘Well, judges, what do we think?’ Kristopher turned to the rest of his group. They started clapping.
‘No, you’re supposed to show the placards- ugh, forget it.’ He snapped back into his presenter persona. ‘Congratulations! That is indeed the correct answer! Take a look at the crowd! They love you!’
The other Kazzam members held up placards with green ticks on them.
‘No, no that’s not
that was- that-‘ he groaned quietly and then bounced back into a wide grin. ‘Moving on then! Question numero trois!’
‘That’s not-‘ Maple started, he saw Maggie eye him angrily but couldn’t help himself. ‘Two is “deux”.’
‘Deux?’ Kristopher questioned.
‘Yeah, deux.’
‘Don’t “yeah, duh!” me! You aren’t exactly in a position to be giving attitude!’
‘No, no I was just saying-‘
‘Question number two!’ Kristopher bellowed. ‘Do you have any idea how much trouble the Wingspans will be in when I tell the Market they’re harbouring a Belower!?’
‘Quite a lot,’ Maggie stated through gritted teeth.
‘Quite a lot indeed!’ Kristopher declared, almost abandoning the game-show pretence entirely. ‘Now then, are you ready for the final question? All or nothing!’
‘Yes.’
‘Here it is! Buzzers at the ready, folks!’ He smiled sickly. ‘What, if anything, will the Wingspans give to the Kazzam to keep their dirty little secrets? Try not to dawdle now! Time’s a-wasting!’
There was a long pause. A few seconds dragged out tenfold. ‘You can take our supplies. We’ve got three sacks full of bags.’ Maggie offered.
‘Oof! That’s a wrong answer! We can already take whatever you have. Tell you what, we’ll let you off that one, what else you got?’
‘What do you want? We don’t have anything else.’
‘She’s using a hint, everybody! Let’s see here
 how about
you tell us where “Wingspan Alpha Base 1-Omega Colin Position Delta” is situated? No hints this time!’
‘We can’t tell you that. Who knows what you’d do?’
‘Oooh! That’s definitely a wrong answer! Judges, one of you has a sharp enough blade to cut through bone, right?’
‘Fine. Do it. I’m not betraying my gang.’ The situation didn’t seem to phase her. She spoke as if she was telling a fast food employee that there were no straws left.
‘Give it a few centimetres and you might.’
One of the “judges” brought over a rusty axe head.
‘How nasty!’ Chief Kristopher chuckled. ‘Now, untie one of her hands. Let’s say the left, don’t want her completely out of the game!’
‘I’m left handed.’
‘Oh well! I guess this is a bit of a setback, in that case.’
The “judge” loosened the ropes and freed her right hand. She didn’t correct him. He pulled her over to a nearby chimney and rested her hand on it, the wrist just hanging over the edge.
‘Viewers be advised, this is most certainly not going to be pretty. On my command.’
The “judge” raised the axe head about a foot above Maggie’s wrist.
‘Ready.’
Maple turned to Po. He was now looking the complete other way.
‘Set.’
Gulliver had turned pale. His eyes were fixed on Maggie’s arm.
‘Chop!’

B1A4 Live Space February 4 and 5, 2017 Fanaccount
First of all, I would like to tell the world that B1A4 is freaking awesome as always.
Now let’s get going. Spoilers ahead if you are going for next week’s concert but I think they will add some more in the setlist, who knows...
February 4, 2017 [3ÂșC]
The line for the merchandise at 9am is not that bad. we bought our stuffs and went out for some early lunch before coming back just to see most of the merch being sold out. The fansites are giving out some goodies and it’s cute to see banas lining up for it. We had to meet up with some friends too and yeah, it was awesome. The hardest part of the day aside from my footwear being a d*ck and decided to torture me the whole day is that we have to take our coats to the locker and line up outside and wait until it’s out turn to go in. So yeah, 1,400 people (for standing area) lining up with white sweaters on in that temperature. Thank you so much.
Here’s the setlist and I’ll just try to recall what I can remember. :D
Tumblr media
The concert is so lit and I am not exaggerating it. I didn’t expect they will sing Melancholy as their first song and damn we are partying right off the bat. Nightmare is one of the songs I really wanted to hear live but the one that caught me off guard was ‘You’ they asked us to sing the girl’s part but we ended up singing the whole song it’s funny.
When the intro of Too much came and CNU popped out, I was like “woooow a b1a4 version!” but then second verse came and no one was showing up after jinyoung. Everybody around me are starting to spazz and was like “duet! 91-line duet!” When Shinyoung’s eyes met, everyone lost it. haha. They were not finished with us and move to each other reaaaally slowly then put their hands and forehead together and gave us that Andre Kim pose and yeah, everyone lost it again. Bachandeul came up next and yeah, sweg sweg sweg.Chan did this TTW level of rapping and sandeul sounds like a duckling quacking fast on his rap. haha They think we see them as cool but nope boys, you are all squishy.
The ment after Sweet girl was so funny. The kids are teasing the old people how the two of them were laughing while practicing the ending pose and urged shinyoung to do it again. It’s blurry what happened next but next thing I know, my old couple otp was hugging and badeul was teasing them that it looked weird even reenacted what happened. Jinyoung was triggered and literally threw himself on CNU and goes round and round. Of course everyone lost it. There are tons of butt tapping, whispers and our clingy bear and puppy all over everyone especially Sandeul. the rapper trio tried to reenact their special performance too. It still looked adorable and Sandeul was just babbling things. They said Baro’s place as a rapper will be on jeopardy. Gongchan might take his spot.
Suddenly the mask king topic popped out and of course we had sample from Lobstar, Coward Lion and of course Flowering Silky Fowl. Seems like we will see two more people on that show so watch out. :D
now the real party starts. that throwback then 5x Glass of water then followed by endless ëȘ‡ ëČˆì„. Then the last ment. It was emotional right from the bat. Well it’s CNU for you. Gongchan was already tearing up that time and when he’s on. He was trying to keep it in but ended up sobbing. Everyone came to him. He was so sincere with his words the leader next to him started crying too. He is also unable to continue some of his words Chan hugged him then 92-line also came. All of a sudden, a knight in shining armor was like, move away I’ll handle this. And the third hug came that night. It made Jinyoung smile tho so he continued his ment though he is still tearing up. Sandeul wanted to be strong but dude, we know you. Encore was on fire tho. These boys show no mercy and didn’t even gave us time to breathe. They also recorded the audio all of the banas singing ‘Together’ and laughed at us when we didn’t hit a note.
I was a literal  wallflower this day. I was on the front row but really really on the farthest left so I can see some cute moments. I think this was a repeat of Road Trip manila back in 2014 for me. I got a handful of moments with CNU and at one time, he went down to the stage and we had an eye contact. I gave him a thumbs up and he did this nod saying “I got this, no worries” look.
February 5, 2017 [5ÂșC]
The lining up is a little more faster than yesterday. I got in quite early and I made a beeline to my yesterday’s spot but a better view this time. I got to cling into the railings so yay!!! Sandeul was the one in front of me this time when the curtain went up so wow.. heaven. My gorgeous little boy. I got an eye contact with jinyoung in melancholy and he looked surprised (dude, is it your first time seeing a snowman in your concert?). Baro joked about yesterday’s event on You and told us we should only sing the girl’s part.
Today’s Too Much stage has the same impact as yesterday. Jinyoung cracked up when he heard people going aaaaaaaawwwwwww when he and CNU was looking at each other. (damn, the loving you loving you loving you part tho. I die 1000x) They made a heart this time. why are they so cute?
In today’s ment, Cnu asked chandeul to sing the original version of Too much which they did (though sandeul had a moment of partial memory loss on the lyrics). Since A4 already sang it, one more. Everyone was chanting CHA BARO! and he was shy at first but asked the band to lower the key for him. AND HE NAILED IT HARD. IT’S PERFECT.
Gongchan was quite emotional again. He revealed that his younger brother is at the audience. And went saying he wanted someone his brother will be proud of. They gave hearts to one another all the way to the second floor. Can’t see him clearly but he definitely grew up by a lot (He’s quite handsome too even from afar. has this ‘rock band member who loves video games’ vibe from him). He's far from the little boy who went to Chan’s birthday party in 2011.
When they went back to sing ‘together’, for some strange happenings, CNU will look at my direction at a certain lyric (that I have to search later.) He did it 3x times. But Nah, it might be just his singing mannerism. I’m just delusional hahaha
The trouble maker duo are having so much fun throwing water on all of us and to each other. I was blessed by holy water. Just maybe a little too much tho. They were making sure everyone is drenched. haha they also bicker like a lot during day 2. Mostly Sandeul throwing baro with whatever he was holding.
Today Gongchan was the one who went down in our area and boy, he was just 4-5 girls away from me and I didn’t even had time to react, I was squished in the crowd trying to hold the railing for my dear life. It was quite an experience. He was so handsome (I am always amazed.)
I think I missed more but It’s getting too long so I’ll conclude it here. The last two days are freaaaaaaaking AWESOME! I didn’t regret flying this weekend just to see them then jump back to work the next day. It will be more awesome if all of us will be able to attend a b1a4 concert together. So if there’s a B1A4 concert in your area, do go if you can. It’s simply Fantastic!
edit: I almost got a selfie with the one and only woobeu but he suddenly got a phone call so bummer....

Ch. 3 Cha Hakyeon
Tonight is the concert, and everyone is buzzing with excitement and nerves. Getting some last minute practice in, we all focus on giving the best performance of our lives, like it would be our last. Hakyeon in particular is being a hardass on everyone. I don't know about anyone else but it is getting on my last nerve.
As everyone heads out to the cars to take us to the venue, Hakyeon sneaks up next to me and squeezes my hand quickly. I glance at him and he gives me a wink, something unreadable in his eyes. I watch him as he turns to follow the boys into their own car and us back up dancers in another.
---
Backstage is positively vibrating with energy as everyone prepares for their performances. The boys are getting dressed in the room next to us, the coordis making sure they look flawless. Not like they're ever not flawless.
I'm slipping my shirt off just as someone opens the door and who is standing in the doorway but Hakyeon himself.
“Yah!” I glare at him, holding my shirt over my bra. “You better close the damn door, Hakyeon!”
The others squeal and try to hide themselves behind their clothes.
Fumbling with the door, he hastily apologizes and slams it shut.
I can feel the heat rising to my face as I realize he probably saw me half naked. Thinking back, it's been awhile since anyone saw me naked. What am I thinking? I shake my head to rid myself of those thoughts.
“Y/N, are you okay?” One of the girls asked. “Your face is really red.”
Breathing deeply and counting to ten, I nod and continue getting dressed.
We're all called to the stage and I feel someone tap me on the shoulder. Turning, I see a blushing Hakyeon standing with his head bowed.
“I'm really sorry,” he mutters. “I forgot that you were in there changing.”
“Not just me, the other girls too. You better apologize to them, too,” I say sternly.
“I will,” he promises, giving me a small smile.
“I swear, if you do that again, you can bet I will be doing a lot more than yelling.”
He raises an eyebrow, “really? Maybe I'll do it again just to find out.” Winking as he walks away, he leaves me there, brain fritzing at his implication. How quickly his demeanor changed from sweet to pervy.
Realizing I'm not following, he comes back, grabs my wrist and pulls me behind him to the stage, where he wraps his arms around me, our starting position for our part. The audience goes mad, screaming and chanting his name.
As the music starts, his arms slowly start making their way down my body, his hands grazing my hips then firmly grasping them to pull me flush against him. One hand slides down my thigh, behind my knee and pulls it up against his hip, his other hand coming up behind my neck. Meeting his gaze, I see something different in them, the same thing I saw earlier.
He leans me back, my head falling back, his nose grazing my chest as he leans into me. Pulling me up swiftly, I see his eyes have changed to a deep red, burning furiously as he stares at me.
Gasping, I'm transfixed, unable to look away from his gaze. Noticing the effect he's had on me, he leads me through our choreography, his eyes never leaving mine, his hands traveling my body as we move across the stage. It feels like an eternity, staring into each other's eyes and moving with the music.
As the song comes to an end, he pulls me against him, his head coming to rest against the crook of my neck, how we'd practiced. The lights dim and he grabs my hand again, leading me off the stage. The crowd roars and screams behind us and the next dancers quickly move to the stage.
Walking swiftly, he pulls me into the wait room, where a couple of the other members are waiting for their turn.
“Look at him!” Ken says.
Taekwoon walks over and forces Hakyeon to sit in one of the chairs. Ken rushes over with a familiar bottle and hands it to him. With clumsy hands, he opens it and downs almost half of it before Taekwoon takes it from him and places it on the table. Remembering I'm in the room, they turn to me and give me questioning looks.
“Don't look at me, I don't know why he's like this,” I defend myself. As much as I don't want to show it, I can tell they know I'm concerned.
“She smells so good,” Hakyeon whispers, his eyes meeting mine, now a bright red. Before he says another word, Taekwoon hands him the bottle again and he finishes it swiftly.
I stand there staring at him for a few minutes, wondering why he was like this. He finally looks up at me, his eyes back to their deep brown, a color I never thought I'd be happy to see.
“What was that?” I ask him quietly.
He sighs. “I was hoping you'd never have to see that, at least not this early on. It happens every once in awhile when I haven't had-” he cuts off abruptly.
“Blood.”
“Yeah.” He looks down at his hands.
Fiddling with my shirt, I glance around the room, not knowing what else to do. Taking a deep breath, I kneel in front of him and hesitate before grabbing his hand.
“I think at this point I'm just glad you're ok,” I say honestly. “What would have happened if you hadn't gotten any blood?”
“Maybe that's a conversation for another day,” Ken interrupts from the other side of the room. “We still have a concert to do and that is not a short discussion.”
“Right,” I stand up and Hakyeon follows, still holding my hand. “We have to change quickly.” I start walking away before Hakyeon turns me back around and wraps his arms around me.
“Thanks for not freaking out,” he whispers, his breath grazing my ear, making me shiver.
Pulling back, I see that look again. Before I can decipher it, he pushes me towards the other changing room, quickly disposing of his own layered clothing.
I can think of nothing but his eyes as I change, wondering what they are trying to tell me. As the other girls come in to change for their next performance, I sip on water and wait for them to head to the stage.
As the night continues, Hakyeon grazes my back with his fingertips any chance he got. Every time he did so, he sent shivers up my spine and had my loins heating in a way I hadn't felt in a long time.
It's a wonder I didn't fall flat on my face during any of the performances. For some reason, Hakyeon dancing in front of me was getting to be a major distraction. Shaking my head for what seemed like the millionth time, I tried to focus on the dances we had sweat, bled and teared for in the last couple months.
We all stand in the sides watching them perform their last song, the audience shaking their light sticks in time to the beat. As the boys bow and thank their fans for attending their concert, the roars grow increasingly, and banners start waving madly again. The screams are deafening as the boys run off the stage, sweat gleaming on their brows and dripping down their necks. We all applaud, thanking each other for the hard work in making this concert a success.
