Nationality headcanons for Dick Grayson and his parents?
His Mom's Romani, I'm thinking Turkish Romani, and his Dad is just Turkish. Ik a lot of people like to think he's french, but Idk, Turkish feels right.
Maybe his dad was an acrobat training for the olympics, and his mom was naturally gifted. They met while running away from something (idk what, maybe the police wrongly accused Mary for stealing, and John didn't want to be an Olympian anymore) and they jumped onto an open Haley's train cart, where they joined the circus. They learned the trapeze together, and fell in love through trust and bonding. Idk how old they would be when this happened, but I'm thinking pretty young. like 16/17/18
#dick grayson#dc comics#batfam#batman#mary grayson#john grayson#it would make the new conversation about Dick joining the onlympics hillarious because the media would be like#“John Grayson was also an olympian before he ran off the join the Circus”#the comments are like “Richard you have the opportunity to do the funniest thing ever”#ask me questions#ask me anything#asks#ask

Could you please liveblog the Keine Lust BTS?
Yes it is another favourite, I Adore
I swear I did this not that long ago but I have no concept of linear time so it was probably eight months ago. If you've seen me liveblog this before no you haven't
So just first off Tills fucking coat. He swans in almost a mirror image of the idea behind Keine Lust, if that makes sense? Looking rich and kind of above it all.
I would like... To paint on till. Large canvas. I cannot draw but that's irrelevant it's not like he'd see it. The way he looks up is cute. Patience if a saint, having even his fingers painted like that
Richard is slightly less fancy but still has that rich and thinks he's important vibe as he walks in. Probably not on purpose, he just has an arrogant resting face sadly.
And then Paul being a regular dude in his little hat. I want to know how fame has truly affected him it seems like Paul and Flake in particular just stayed regular dudes?
Oli even more so is just in his lil hat and parka looking ready to get started. It must be an experience, being in a band with till and richard.
I love how excited schneider is but it's a little unnerving how he can go from so tickled and giggly to completely stonefaced and serious, dead behind the eyes, in seconds. But yes I do love that he's so proud of himself
Paul takes every opportunity to talk about how hot he thinks they all are. He can destroy schneiders self confidence when it comes to drumming but he believes they must all understand that he thinks they're hot.
Paul takes pleasure in the little things that's how he stays so humble.
Paul's little version of Ohne Dich as he's being brushed
Paul is good at hiding how much of a bastard he is
Have you ever noticed how much all their laughs change when they're all done up? Schneiders is the most obvious later it's very low and bubbly instead of his usual cascading giggles that sound (I'm allowed to say this as my laugh is mostly just sharp high inhales it's Awful for the ears) a little like a donkey pitched up but they all do it for some reason.
God German sounds camp. When Till says his shoulder. I'm unbelievably camp. How do people think it's a scary language.
Flake is so fucking cute with the bob and the little hat. The bob and hats time was the most attractive he's ever been he is adorable
Which one are you???
I do not understand how they all think Oli looks funnier than Schneider. Oli looks the realest probably sure but schneider with his big face and small body looks like one of those dogs who ate a bee
But just any time they all are clearly having so much fun my heart beats funnily which isn't ideal as it already does that but I just love how much they enjoy each others company sometimes.
I want to know if Oli has since tried the snowboarding thing.
I have Mehr stick in my head again
Okay so here's a thing I think a lot: the untitled album and stadium tour are basically their real life Keine Lust. They got together after a decade of only making a couple of new songs, no albums, with the intention of just seeing what would happen and enjoying making music together again. They have all they need, really, and they aren't doing it because they have to any more. They tried it, they enjoyed it, they love each other more than ever.
I really do not like the way they did Richards face prosthesis(?). It makes zero sense just like, physics-wise and also how his individual face is? I get that our wonderful softer Richard had yet to make an appearance but you can still tell how his weight would settle so what possessed them? To do him like this? Poor guy.
He had a very uh. Haunted look for a while? Like he never slept. Richard, I mean. Was it an aesthetic choice to always look shattered and broken inside? It's like he saw himself in Ich Will and said yes that's the vibe I want. It's the eyes maybe.
The sound schneider makes as they hug is, as the kids say, sending me.
I wish we saw them talking to each other more often. It's very different to interviewers or cameras or podcasters.
Schneider now understands that fat people arefine and cool and chill, he says.
Gonna hit Jörn over the autistic comment (especially said towards someone with a tonne of traits)
Es ist. Heiß
Someone mentioned once that till often says ik instead of ich because of his accent and not I can't not hear it
Schneiders face falling off is the second funniest thing to happen in a making of. His laugh. The way they're losing it alongside him. I still can't see where the problem is but it's funny
Hallooooo
He has one little tooth
His hair was such a good length and he should consider that
Till thinks they're all dummies. It's so simple. He's not impressed. He is, however, so pretty in this. The coat is nice it's just a fitting choice for this too
Till holding up her arm because he's knows, I think, they're gonna start hurting. I choose to believe this. He's so pretty in this, I must reiterate.

Rush Limbaugh Explains -> Drive-By Media Mantra: Pence Pulled a “Stunt”
No to NFL at HoaxAndChange.com
Rush USA Flag at HoaxAndChange.com
rush-limbaugh @ Old Guard Audio
Oct 9, 2017
RUSH: Noblesville, Indiana. Lynn, thank you. Great to hear from you. I’m glad you called.
CALLER: Well, thank you so much for taking my call, Rush. I just called, being in Indiana, I have a little bit of an inside track or feeling towards Pence that I think there’s some things that people are forgetting here. First, I don’t know how the rest of the world feels or how much history people really understand, but President Trump stood in front of the American people and the world, and he put his hand on a Bible and he swore to upheld the Constitution.
And part of the Constitution is that he is going to defend — provide for the common defense and stand up and defense our nation. And as commander-in-chief, who better to lead our country and set the example of standing up for the flag, the men and women who fought for and continue to fight for our country and our flag than the national anthem. I can’t think of anybody else who’s more qualified and who’s more demanded to do that than Donald Trump and the vice president.
RUSH: You know, that’s an excellent point. While you were speaking I was reminded of Trump’s numerous rallies during the campaign. What was the theme? Do you remember what his theme was?
CALLER: Well, “Make America Great Again.”
RUSH: Right. “Make America Great Again.” And why did that catch on? Because a lot of people think that America’s under attack from within.
CALLER: Right. We need that. We demand that. And that’s why he won, because people are tired of having a leader and a commander-in-chief who is not upholding his constitutional and sworn oath to do that.
RUSH: Exactly right. In fact, it can be stated in an equally powerful way. Americans have grown tired of presidents and leaders who apologize for the country and who think that America is and has been the problem in the world. And, frankly, that was Barack Obama, and it is, to this day, many in the Democrat Party and on the American left.
People are sick of it. They don’t think of their country as evil. They don’t think of their country as the problem in the world. They think of America as the solution and as the answer to the problems in the world, such as economic, human rights, civil rights. There’s no better place on earth, and Americans are sick and tired of having their country derided or ripped. And so you go to Trump on the campaign trail, it wasn’t just make America great, it was obvious to anybody listening that he loved America and he was tired of people who didn’t and he was gonna restore that love and prominence.
And so you’re right. This behavior is entirely consistent. If you publicly are going to disrespect the flag and everything associated with it, if you’re gonna publicly disrespect the national anthem and the people who wear the military uniform, you are going to be pushed back against. And this is the first time that’s happened in I don’t know how long. There was no push-back during the Bush administration. Of course push-back in the Obama administration, the push-back was on the part of the American people.
But you’re right, Trump and Pence are behaving entirely consistent with their message and with their promises. Again, look, I’m redundant saying this, because I imagine some of you were nervous. How many of you wish Pence wouldn’t have walked out? This is what push-back looks like. This is what them not getting their way looks like, folks. This is what you voted for. This is what they not owning the narrative looks like. And they’re not just gonna be docile while the push-back happens.
You can call it a culture war or a series of battles, but this has been coming. It’s not going to reform itself, and it’s not going to go away. There isn’t a magic moment when the left realizes, “You know what? We’ve been wrong about this” and begins remedial behavior. I gave a speech at the 30th anniversary of the Media Research Center, and what they do at each annual event, they play clips of some of the stupidest, funniest, most outrageous comments members of the media make during the course of the year. And everybody just laughs themselves silly because they are funny.
But when I went out there, I reminded everybody, “Yeah, we’re laughing, but, folks, this is scary, because, folks, every one of those people that you just saw and laughed at believes it. They believe it.” Laughing at it we have demonstrated is not enough to defeat it. These people are gonna have to be defeated in the arena of ideas, and this is what it looks like.
Why do they have the unopposed opportunity to disrespect the flag, to disrespect the anthem, to disrespect the military, and to attack their own business? Why is any push-back considered a violation of their rights? It’s because they are authoritarians. They believe there should not be any opposition to them ever on anything. They aren’t prepared for it and they are intolerant of it. So they squeal like stuck pigs, and they start talking about things they can’t possibly understand. Here. Grab sound bites 9 and 10. What we have here first is a media montage of the media saying the Pence walkout was a stunt.
DAVID MUIR: (music) Vice President Pence sparking a firestorm. Was it a political stunt?
RON CLAIBORNE: (outdoor noise) How much in taxpayer money was wasted on this stunt?
BILL WEIR: …an expensive political stunt.
KARINE JEAN-PIERRE: This political stunt…
PETER ALEXANDER: …a political stunt…
ANA CABRERA: Was this all just a political stunt?
JENNIFER RUBIN: Of course it was a political stunt.
VAN JONES: You’ve got now the president, the vice president pulling off a stunt to oppose a stunt protesting a protest.
ALISYN CAMEROTA: This was a quarter million dollar publicity stunt?
RYAN NOBLES: …just a big publicity stunt.
JAMES ROSEN: …a preplanned publicity stunt…
RICHARD LUI: What the vice president did here, was this a stunt?
TYLER TYNES: This seems like a PR stunt.
DONTE STALLWORTH: …this whole staged publicity stunt…
JOE WATKINS: …sending the vice president to the game was a preplanned stunt.
RUSH: All those people, a couple players in there, but these are media. These are media people. They’re not reporting what happened. They’re telling you what they think of it. And they think it was a stunt. But what the players are doing? “That’s not a stunt, no way. That is a serious protest. We are protesting the abuse of our brothers by cops in America. We are protesting the racism and the bigotry. We are protesting, but we’re not protesting the flag.” Yes, you are.
But what they’re doing is not a stunt, you see. Any response to it is a stunt. You’re not allowed to respond to it. When they put a bakery out of business or a photo shop out of business, that’s not a stunt. That is justice as far as they’re concerned. If you defend the bakery or the photo shop, you also are a Christian bigot. Now, here is the player, 49ers player Eric Reid, who joined Pooperdink — Kaepernick when he first publicly took the knee as a member of the San Francisco 49ers. This is yesterday afternoon in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium, and this is what he said of the vice president.
REID: This looks like a PR stunt to me. He knew, um, our team has had the most players protest. He knew that we were probably going to do it again. And so this is what systemic oppression looks like. A man with power comes to the game, tweets a couple of things out and leaves the game with an attempt to – to thwart our efforts.
RUSH: See? In the first place it’s a publicity stunt, then it’s systematic oppression. He thinks that’s oppression? The vice president tweeting and leaving? That’s oppression? A man with power comes to the game, tweets a couple things out and leaves the game with an attempt to thwart our effort? You see, you dare not try to thwart their efforts. You dare not try to persuade anybody their efforts are not correct, right or what have you. That is systemic oppression.
That’s not oppression. Oppression? Are you kidding me? Did it stop you from doing what you wanted to do? No. It highlighted what you’re doing as foolish. It’s what push-back looks like, folks. That’s it.
