Well, I did get asked to write a little more about my little Father and Children AU.

Some little facts about this unusual trio? Of course, under the cut!

This is long. I'm gonna warn you, this is a whole lot of rambling.

This trio won't stay a trio for long, once Lisa and Father Garcia will reach John. Michael won't be happy to see one of the two. But will eventually accept his presence.

So, we started with Michael, a little more about him. The boy is not doing too well, but is also getting better now under John's care. His hair started to grow back but won't ever be as fluffy and soft as they were before: now they're coarse and grey. If they get grabbed and pulled, they fall right off in thick tufts. His nose is completely gone and he his right leg is permanently wounded, making John's knee look perfect in comparison. So he walks with the help of a crutch. He already got cataract, because of the infection in his eyes. Those sunglasses are a gift from the priest and he refuses to take them off even for sleeping.

Why wasn't he brought to a hospital? Well, John is terrified by those places and can't be the one to bring him there, risking to have police taking him back in for being a suspect for kidnapping and harming a kid that they've been looking for.

But why won't he go back to his parents exactly? They should be still alive. And they are. However, there is a number of motives why he won't do it. He's afraid to return to them now he loos like this, they've never been very caring towards him, and yet he also doesn't want to put them in danger now he got involved in something so much bigger than him. He thinks John is truly the only one who can fight demons and he loves him a lot. To him he's more of a father, than a Father.

How did he convince John that he does not have parents to return to? Easy: He lied about his name. He claimed to be called Michael Garcia. Unfortunately for him Father Garcia manages to contact John and this leads to a lot of misunderstandings. And confusion.

He speaks Spanish, yes. Though uses mostly English because John doesn't understand it. Only when he gets agitated or feels strong emotions of any kind, he slips. Or when Amy starts speaking Latin, he begins to speak Spanish to her. And John loses his mind when they do that.

Amy was saved by John just a little too late, but not that late. When he found her, her face had already been carved out but no offering was made. John made good use of that "one bullet" by shooting at Gary, and stopping him before he could continue with the ritual. Yes he shot Gary. Without knowing what he had just done. He took Amy away from him and wrapped up her face in bandages. He narrowly got away with his life and Amy safe in his arms.

What does this mean for her? It means she cannot be exorcised fully, even if he tries, because her body is dead. There is a portal to hell in her face, but without the sacrifice it required, nothing can truly come out. What kept Amy alive was the awareness of having John there for her, caring so much. The Second Death had never happened. The death of the soul was prevented because she never stopped fighting, when he arrived. Despite the pain and everything she lost. He was still there. The UNSPEAKABLE is inside her, but his control is weak. So weak, that she takes over without him even realizing, when he thinks to be the one in control in certain situations.

This means she can use those supernatural powers, stealing them from him. But the longer she does it, the more she risks to lose herself. Every night, she is afraid he could take over while she's asleep too , that's why she does not want to take off that straightjacket and specifically asks to be restrained. John can't bring himself to do it, he's afraid of that thing. So Michael does this instead.

Basically they both Love John so much. He gave them a reason to live, he put his life in danger to save them so they will fight for him even if they're frightened by the cultists and by Gary. They're just kids after all. But their Father also became their father, for both of them. They might be scared, but they won't let anyone take him away. In those moments when John's life really is at risk, that's when neither of them would hesitate and jump at those cultists's throats.

Anyway, they are very hard to handle, and they know it. When john faints on the chair after three sleepless nights, they try to put him on the couch and cover him with a blanket. They try to cook, they try to tidy the place. A little apology, for realizing they've exhausted him to this point.

And I wrote way too much. I warned you. This was a ramble. Ops? Maybe I'll write more in the future, when I'll learn to write more by writing less. Gosh, I talk too much.

One the things that got me during HoO,from SoN to HoH is the fact that Frank Zhang can literally command skeletons of people fallen into battles. When I found out about it I was extremely confused because I couldn't remember if it was a thing,or it was something new introduced to us. And apparently that was something already introduced in the first serie,since Clarisse in SoM had a battleship with an undead crew that she could command. I think it was a gift from Ares,like Frank's new spear was a gift from Mars.

But it was so strange when I read it,because at the time I really never thought much of that scene,and when they went to the museum to talk with the ghosts (it was off-screen and the only thing we know is that Frank couldn't comunicate with them) I was like:"Wdym Frank can use Nico's power??? He is not related to the Underworld. How is that even possible? Where is the logic at?"

But right now I think it's hilarious because Hazel got together with the only guy in the world that could command skeletons,outside of chthonic dieties children. And she is a child of the Underworld. Hazel and Nico really do attract death and are attracted by it.

And I remember that in HoH,while Nico's used the scepter to summon the undead,it was Frank to give them orders because they weren't listening to Nico since he was greek. And while I have a contrast feeling about this,it's actually pretty good for his character development and leadership skills.

At the same time there is irony here. Frank knew he could summon to skeletons/talk to ghosts but still was unsettled by Nico,and they all know what his main powers could do. The same thing that Frank's technically could but he never learned how (untill Nico provided him with a platform to help him in it),Nico can too without a problem. But nope,let's be scared of the son of Hades when you can do the same things,and had a skeleton fight for you not even a month ago.

I don't think people realized that the Ares Cabin can technically do this too (the IRONY is coming back at full force here,hoping for Nico to never find out about this because I knew he won't take it well) since it's only mentioned in one line. That's fair. But Frank's power of commanding the dead is pretty much in the background: it's talked a bit in SoN when Mars give him a new weapon and he summon a skeleton with it; it's talked about when they went to that museum to see if Frank could comunicate with the ghosts there in MoA (but those are like,4 lines); and HoH when he commanded the dead in the Temple with Nico's help,but that was mostly about his leadership skills and how Jason didn't felt roman anymore (Rick fucked up with this).

That's it. And I think is a waste because,since he can't controll it,Nico would the the best teacher to have for Frank. He is already helping Hazel with her powers,he can do the same for him. Especially because that part of Frank's powers is the same as his powers,since he does better in the death sphere of his father's domain (not Rick putting a patch on what happened in BotL,when Nico used the earth at this liking,and then never did anything with it again). Wasted opportunity to make Frank grow up from the stereotypes of children of the Underworld,and Hazel to step up and actually acknowledge their sibling bond instead of the "I know he is creepy and all but can you still be nice to him?" conversation.

Riordan gave the children of Ares and Mars a leverage they technically should never have,because even if those are fallen soldier,they are still dead. They can respond only if summoned or if someone can talk to them. And while the battleship and the crew were a gift from Ares for Clarisse,Frank had Nico to help him fight at the end of HoH. And then that same leverage got forgotten or unused.

And while I'm glad because it was way out of their parentage,I don't like how Riordan is comfortable to adding whatever power he want,to someone,and then taking it away,without writing about it. Why doing this??? Don't give it if you won't write much about it. It's just a waste of potential.

How Homestuck Beyond Canon Candy Timeline has/will have parallels with Homestuck proper around and during the events of [S] Game Over

Jane Crocker heavily aligned/influenced by with Crocker Corp. Notice how her neck accessory looks very similar to the Crocker computer tiara. There's also the circuits surrounding the button, which are reminiscent of Crockertier Jane's visual mind control effect by The Condesce.

Jane also kind of looks like The Condesce with how she's silhouetted here.

The head of Crocker Corporation on a large Crocker space ship. A ship which I would like to point out looks eerily similar to the ship that The Condesce flies around in except the forks/sporks are facing the opposite direction and it's got black on it instead of mostly red.

Jake dying at the hands of Crocker influenced Jane and coming back to life parallels with this Jane coming close to killing Jake, but stopping right before death. Same green text too.

The cast of characters surrounding this time in the comic are also similar.

We also got the whole Crocker laser beam of death being hinted at which we've absolutely seen before.

I talked about this in one of my previous theories, Jake is getting a better grasp of his hope powers; so, I think we could see another hope explosion again in some capacity out of Jake's concern for Tavvy.

I could also totally see Jake being held hostage by one of the Crocker Clones A.K.A. the Brig Boys and Kanaya cutting them up with her chainsaw (hopefully avoiding Jake).

This is more of a little side detail, but Vriska is once again on the sidelines while this massive important fight takes place because she's trapped in her own personal Hell this time.

CHARACTER DEATH FLAGS - I don't know how to organize this post and there was a lot more potential evidence to this than I thought there was going into it.

Let me preface this with the fact that the existential split between Meat and Candy sometimes seems to try to course correct itself and much like certain peoples DNIs, it doesn't want any doubles. We see this with Dirk, Dave (he died even if he ascended to ultimate self afterwards), June/J/John, Terezi(seemingly), Meenah (her other self is in the black hole with Lord English so we can't necessarily confirm death but yknow), Aradia (is just Aradia), Gamzee, Calliope (that is a whole complex situation), and Rose (if her future sight is correct, but we'll get to that). Those are the only examples I can think of at this time, but it's absolutely a repeating pattern of the universe sort of course-correcting to have only one of each of our main characters exist at a time. This, at least in the cases of Dirk, Dave, & Rose seems to be related to the ascension to ultimate self, but we can't really say if that's why the other characters only get one existence at this time.

Karkat has has at least 2 deaths from around this time, one involving Crockertier Jane as well which could be a sign of things to come.

Rose's death flag is that she has literally foreseen her death in her future sight. She is thinking about Kanaya and Roxy in the same thought process while seeing her own death, feeling full of regret (even though she's trying to repress her own feelings) about her relationship to Roxy and Kanaya. Very similar to her being regretful as she was dying in Roxy's arms. I'm also guessing the bullet that hits her will be from Jake's gun, just throwing that out as a possibility.

ROSE: What... ROSE: Happened to me? ROXY: the witch got u ROXY: with her fork ROXY: but youre gonna be ok ROSE: Oh. ROSE: That's nice. ROSE: *Cough.* ROXY: maybe you uh ROXY: shouldnt try to talk now ROSE: You saved me, didn't you? ROXY: ... ROSE: Thanks. ROSE: But, ROSE: She's gone, isn't she. ROSE: For good, I mean. ROXY: ? ROSE: I saw her die. ROSE: And. ROSE: It's a shame how... ROSE: *Cough.* ROSE: A shame that I never even... ROSE: Got to tell her... ROSE: I loved her. ROXY: who?

ROSE: Kanaya. ROSE: But... ROSE: You too, mom.

Kanaya also has a death flag here in getting hit by The Condesce's laser beam of death, but it's more of a maybe given that we see Rose's future vision of Kanaya holding her body in her arms. Keep in mind though we also had this bit of dialogue about the reliability of future sight right before we saw that vision.

JADE: dont forget im more than a little versed in future sight myself ok JADE: i dont care how credible it seems, you cant depend on that information!

Jake and Jane are also on the chopping block potentially, but I can't think of a way at this time, unless Kanaya mistakes Jake for one of the clones amidst her rage and ends up cutting through him along with the Crocker clones. The one pictured below was done by Aranea who is out of the story. Maybe Meenah's trident hits Jake somehow or something, I don't know. We also have meat Jake and Jane who are doing more okay.

On top of the parallels to the doomed timeline that was [S] Game Over, we also had Vriska say that this reality was fake and didn't matter. I'm paraphrasing and I don't know if we'll get a doomed timeline situation yet with the 4 kids still in it, but I just thought the amount of parallels was interesting & worth pointing out.

I also wanted to get this out before the next update in case it's related to the flash animation and any of my predictions come true.

Alternatively I think the flash animation will be Ultimate Dirk kick starting his SBURB home brew session on Deltritus. He probably has all the tech and narrative powers to do it based on what we've seen, they just need a species they'll both be satisfied with as the players for the session.

This is actually great timing though because even though [Redacted] College has screwed me over royally, its fuckery has put me in a position to write one of my final college papers ever on Kerry Weaver's seasons 2-8 arc as a tragic backstory arc or Kerry overall as a genre atypical tragic figure.

I just want to protect her from the horrors. She needs a therapist and a friend and her mentor healthy again to tell her she's amazing and if anything her newly discovered queerness only enhances that. She needs literally one (1) person in her support system. She just needs someone to tell her she's going to be okay and that the one thing she has in her life (her job) is safe. But the whole basis of her tragic-ness is that the writers sabotage her every attempt to not be lonely. So...

Hey soldiers, Commander here having a little something to say about a certain fandom you probably just saw a couple of times mentioned here. Because thankfully I never got that much into it. This Commander learnt to predict when there's a little something that won't end well by now with a project with good intentions maybe… that ends up being mediocre at best.

Epic the musical basically, under the cut. Little rant.

Frst of all, I cna't say this product it's completely bad because it'd be a lie. Let's not start all negative. Let's say what's good about it. Most of songs are very nice. It pushed people to read about the original Odyssey.

Now let's talk about the problem

Yes one. I could stay here making a post 40 days long about what does not work., but I did think for a bit about the main issue that makes Epic the Musical a mediocre work despite the effort of everyone involved is only one :

Americacentrism.

I've learnt how to recognize when the US ideals and vision get involved into any kind of work that has NOTHING to do with USA, by living in a country whom is pretty much a slave under USA, even though on paper it's called "alliance". As a singer wrote in a song that talks very well about the place where I live: "Too much America on the posters".

Now I've seen this issue since the Ocean Saga. Yeah, ocean. Do we want to go read where Ithaca is placed? It's placed in the Mediterranean sea. The whole Odyssey happens in the Mediterranean sea. Not the ocean. Poseidon has NOTHING to do with the ocean. Do you know who's the God of the ocean? Ocean. And not even a god. A titan. The ocean was a river that surrounded the world.

I know it seems like I am being a bit fussy and stubborn. But Ocean is a character, Poseidon is another character. That was enough to make me understand this was yet ANOTHER product that with the US vision slapped on it. I know Ocean Saga sounds better than Sea Saga. So what about calling it the Storm Saga instead? There were solutions.

Another issue us US vision. the American superman. That despite everything, always manages in the end because he is a good person, he has good principles and it's others want him to fail... but in the end, to conquer the American dream he will even fight gods and… no no no no.

Greek heroes are NOT American heroes. Odysseus had always been a ruthless man. Always. Ancient Greeks new one thing that does not work well with the American hero and that we all should learn again.

Never worship a man like you worship a god. Because men make mistakes, and commit terrible crimes.

Never worship men like you worship a god. And do not justify those evil deeds. You do not pray a man, that man will do nothing for you. It's a man. Poseidon might sink ships. He might kill, and hurt people like he's playing with toys. He does. but he's not just a ruthless monster. He is not. Because a man could never give what Poseidon gives. What he takes is far FAR less than what he gives to humans. Without the water there is no way to sail and travel, there is no fish to eat, there is no rain. A man cannot give what gods give. What nature gives.

We forgot this lesson and we justify poor little Ody because everyone's so unnecessarily mean to him. We should learn again from them, from the Ancient Greeks, before we start to justify a man for everything they do. A youtuber, a businessman, a politician. Some people are worshiped like gods and these products lack that original lesson the works of art like the Odyssey had. Heros are men and men are not perfect. Men are not gods.

So. I don't know how many read so far. I've been trying to hold back, really.

I give my opinion too because lately everyone's giving theirs.

From my notes....... like to me Sharena is projecting a little bit, here. She's frustrated with Veronica not only because of her behavior, but because if SHARENA EVER acted out anywhere NEAR that way. Maybe there would be severe consequences. Maybe it's something Sharena makes an effort to correct, within herself, before any consequences can catch her. And yet. Despite all that. Sharena still has moments of attitude and dare I say, Stubbornness, too.
