I'm honestly betting Forever wants to kill an egg, like my man is talking about cooking too much for my taste

I think the angst of this would be top-tier, especially with the islanders having just gotten their eggs back, and the debates around how to keep the eggs safe these days (like bbh & bagi on the cookie issue, and phil & tubbo on how to protect the eggs from forever). And I think it would bring back some of the horror element of the storytelling that's been dulled a bit by the inside glimpses we get into the federation (with the way we feel more sympathy for them now, instead of fear). Tensions would be way more heightened and I feel like thats when ccs have the best storytelling!! I'm so down for this arc

Absolutely!!!!!!!!! If this is the path Forever wants to take with this arc i will be down bad for him because it will be such a amazing twist to the story and it will create so much conflict that it will be impossible to ignore it and from a meta perspective all the eggs have two lives again so it wouldn't even be a perma death.

I think it would so so interesting to see how such a act would afect the relationship between the Islanders because even if it's not Forever in control of his body, at the end of the day would it matter to others? (Would it matter to Forever himself? Would they need to trust the blade into his chest when he would gladly push himself into it?), Tubbo has already made his opinion pretty clear on what he thinks need to be done, and i do believe Fit would back him up, what would bring some nice interactions between the morning crew because i don't think Pac would turn his back to Forever.

This would be Forever's breaking point i think, the one thing that will break him to the point he wouldn't be able to hide anymore.

Forever, the president they all should be able to trust.

Forever, who loves the eggs so very dearly.

Forever, who has done the most to make sure all the children have a safety net.

Forever, who has put others above himself over and over again.

Forever, who for the second time became a prisoner inside his own body, hurting those he loves.

Forever, becoming the very thing he loathes the most.

Don't get me wrong we would be in the fucking trenches defending both the possessed cubito AND cc Forever, since people are still on his ass about the incident with Leo (like others didn't do fucking worse), and depending on who is the victim it will be hell, but honestly? I hope he goes for it.

Once again, you know who is underutilized in DCxDP crossovers? Battinson. Skrunkly shivering boi. Who we should definitely give children to care for. 

 Did you know that Jason canonically had a brother named Danny? Well you do now, and it should also be used more. 

 We all want to give Battinson a robin, so why not give him four for the price of two. He of course gets Dick from the circus- he’s never going to go into public again, this was the first time he’d gone to do something out of his comfort zone for a while and look how that turned out. 

 And on one of the nights that Dick has to stay home (Alfred insists he must finish his homework if he wants to go out on patrol) Bruce returns to the batmobile to find not one child, but two. Is Danny reincarnated? Just appeared one day? Who knows, but he’s here now and going to protect his little brother. 

 Bruce might have tears in his eyes when they both hit him in the kneecaps and bolt because even with the armor it still hurts. How he manages to grab both kids he’s not too sure, but he ends up getting them food after they put the tires back. He also doesn’t understand how he’s convinced them into the car but they’ve both conked out and maybe he’s panicking and needs Alfred- 

 D-Dick why is there another child here? He’s the neighbor, cool cool. W-what do you mean he’s home alone, he’s like, 4?? What do you mean he’s been alone for a week now???

once you and katsuki discover you're expecting, you agree to keep it to yourselves for a little while.

you can't hide forever, but you want the chance to bask in the excitement of what's to come, together, away from outside eyes prying in. and you do: there's an immediate difference in the way you touch each other, how often, with katsuki even shifting coverage for patrol just so he can cling to your side for an extra day or two. it's like a honeymoon, almost, and you take the time to enjoy it like one.

but of course he wants to tell his parents as soon as he can, though he doesn't outright admit it; as soon as you start pushing the boundary of your waistband, he finds time in his schedule to see his dad—and then mitsuki makes time for him to see her.

katsuki tells toshinori next, who becomes quite emotional at the sight of your ultrasound, which in turn makes katsuki surprisingly emotional, too. there's much that they say and even more that they don't, but it's all communicated, regardless.

and lastly—he has to tell his nerd-ass friends.

it happens on one of their bi-monthly outings—that katsuki has consecutively been skipping for a little while, for obvious reasons. and it's like the minute he sits down in his seat and orders his food and one beer, everything he'd planned to say dissolves in his head.

despite wanting to keep quiet, he's been trying to plot out his announcement to these exact shit heads since the moment you found out. it's just so personal, and even after everything, katsuki's still discovering how to share those parts of his life with others, still coming to terms with the fact that he wants to.

he'd considered doing it slowly, rather than all at once in front of all of them, but he very quickly realized how terrible of a plan that was; deku would not physically be able to contain such knowledge in his body for any period of time, kirishima is a notorious fucking gossip, and if shouto had given him some kind of shit ass, wrinkled-nose look, he would have had to howitzer him through a building.

so he just says it, because he's never really been one for subtlety.

right after everyone's received their food and started to take their first bites, denki makes a point to ask,

"how's things with your honeybun, kacchan?"

and normally he'd have a fit at the nickname, but instead he hears bun and feels his stomach flip like it does when he remembers, when silly little things remind him of what the two of you have made together, and into his food, he simply says,

"we're havin' a baby."

the expected silence falls over all of them, save for the scaping of utensils against katsuki's bowl. he's damn good at feigning nonchalance, but food is getting stuck in his throat and his heart is beating so hard that he can hear it deep in his eardrums. of course he knows, but it dawns on him again, how overrun he is with excitement.

across the table, denki takes his turn to speak again. "you're...what?"

and then the whole room is erupting into a mass of chaos, moving in pieces like a riot of unrefined children, and even though he's being hounded with a million questions and being shaken around by his shoulders and some of these assholes are crying—katsuki graces them all with a big, fat grin.
