Pairing: Steve Rogers x reader

Summary: You just met Steve so you give him your number...because DUH haha

Author’s Note: This is for the CE HBC’s @the-ce-horniest-book-club drabble weekend based on songs! I love music so much and I’m always inspired by it so I went with ‘Call Me Maybe’ by Carly Rae Jepsen. It’s fun and I thought it would be cute to pair with Steve. “I don’t know Nat. What if he’s a total creep! I just met him!” You throw your hands up in the air with an exasperated sigh and tug at a fly away hair, willing it into place with a huff. “I can’t even get my hair right. I should cancel.”

Nat takes you by the shoulders and pushes you to sit on the bed. “Listen, you can cancel if you want but if I recall last night you were practically in love at first sight so you might want to go for it,” she teases. “You kept going on about his beard and he had these eyelashes,” she bats her eyes dramatically, “and his arms were practically bursting out of his shirt…blah blah,” she continues with a dismissive wave of her hand.

You cross your arms over your chest and give her your best ‘I’m insulted’ look. “Well, it’s all TRUE! I mean. He was just right there. In my way. When I was trying to get a drink. What the hell was I supposed to do? NOT LOOK?” you ask, throwing your hands up in defeat. “I must have stared at him for a good minute before I spoke. And then I gave him my number! This is crazy!” you finish with a groan.

Nat points and cackles at you. “I’m SO SORRY I missed this!!! But hey! He called didn’t he?!” She keeps laughing as she fixes your hair, handing you your lip gloss. “Come on, you look amazing. It’s time to go.” With those words she nudges you off the bed and toward the door. “Remember Clint and I will be hiding out if you need anything so don’t worry and just have fun.”

You walk into the bar and search for Steve. You find him leaning against the bar, his dark shirt pulled so tight across his chest it looks like the buttons might pop off any moment. You duck behind a table and get another look at him. He’s even more handsome now that you can stare with a completely clear head and you suddenly feel like running out.

It’s at that moment he sees you, his eyes lighting up as he wades through the crowd toward you. “There you are. Hi.” He leans down and kisses your cheek, his beard rubbing deliciously over your soft skin and you have to bite back a moan.

“Hi Steve,” you say maybe a bit too breathless, taking his hand as he leads you back to the bar. “You look beautiful,” he tells you, waiting for you to sit before he does. “Thank you. You look nice too,” you reply, silently cursing yourself for sounding awkward.

He smiles and lowers his lashes as he takes a sip of his beer. You can’t help but admire how they fan out and kiss his cheeks. “Thanks. What can I get you sweetheart?” he asks, placing down his empty glass. Clearing your head, you opt for a glass of wine.

As the night goes on you and Steve inch closer and closer, your stool now practically positioned between his spread thighs. You can feel yourself falling for him already and there is nothing you can do to stop it.

You lean forward and crook your finger at him, placing your hand atop his thigh. “Can I tell you a secret,” you ask with a whisper. His gaze drifts to your mouth before he nods, ghosting his fingers up your arm. “You have really nice eyelashes.” You giggle after admitting the words and cover your mouth.

If the lighting weren’t so low you would have noticed the way his cheeks turn slightly pink. He pulls your hand away from your mouth and uses it to tug you off the stool. “Thanks. I think that’s the first time anyone has ever complimented me on my eyelashes,” he replies, his voice husky in your ear.

Pulling you closer to his chest he brushes the hair away from your face and traces your jaw with his thumb. “Now it’s my turn to tell you something,” he purrs. “I’ve been dying to kiss you since the moment I saw you.”

That’s the last thing you hear before his warm lips press to yours and you have to clutch his shirt to keep from falling over. A jolt of pleasure rushes from your head to your toes when he parts your lips with his tongue, and you dig your nails into his chest.

By the time you pull away your lips are swollen and tingling. “Wow,” he breathes against your lips. “Definitely wow,” you reaffirm, releasing his shirt and gently smoothing out the material. “Sorry about that,” you say, giving him a contrite look.

“It was well worth it. Believe me, I don’t care about my shirt,” he assures you. “Now, what do you say we get out of here and I walk you home?” he asks with one more chaste kiss. “I’d love that,” you tell him, holding his hand and walking into the warm night air.

Today is the last day of the HBC Candy Hearts Club event at @the-ce-horniest-book-club​​ and I have a moodboard and drabble for y’all! 

My inner Ransom hoe decided it was time for a come back.

Title: On the Bench

Pairing: Ransom Drysdale x female reader

"You promised to play me a song," you reminded Ransom as the two of you came into his house.

"You don't forget anything, do you?" he replied with a sarcastic sigh.

"Please, Ransom," you said sweetly.

"Fine," he said, caving in.

You followed him into his living room where he had a white, grand piano near the picture window.

He sat down on the piano bench while you sat down on the closet chair.

You fought back a giggle as Ransom took a couple deep breaths before going through a series of stretches for his shoulders, neck, and fingers.

When his fingers finally hovered over the keys, you leaned forward in your seat, ready to hear him play something beautiful.

The song that followed wasn't beautiful.

It was the chorus of "Happy Birthday".

"Ransom," you complained.

"Oh, so you wanted a specific song?" he teased, turning to look at you.

"Someone with a grand fucking piano in their house knows how to play more than just Happy Birthday," you stated. "Please, Ransom, I really want to hear you play something."

He nodded his head and then turned back to the piano. This time, his warm up wasn't as exaggerated and when his fingers met the keys, a beautiful melody filled the room.

You didn't recognize the song, but it was beautiful.

All too soon, it came to an end and Ransom's hands fell away from the keys.

"That was beautiful," you told him. "What's that song called?"

"It doesn't have a name," he replied as he turned on the bench to look at you.

"How can it not have a name?" you asked.

"Because I haven't named it yet." He shrugged.

"Wait," you said, finally catching up. "You wrote that?"

He nodded his head.

"Ransom, it was beautiful!" you praised him. "What's it about?"

"You."

"Me?"

A smile tugged at his lips at your surprise, but he then explained, "I wrote that after our first date. Your laughter is so melodic that I wanted to capture it in a song."

He turned back to the piano and played a few bars of the song he'd written for you.

Standing up, you made your way to him.

Touching his chin, you turned his face towards yours and kissed him.

You felt his hands guide you into his lap so you were positioned between him and the piano.

"I love the song," you said to him as you stroked his cheek. "Let's go upstairs and I'll show you just how much."

"Or we could stay right here," he suggested, wiggling his eyebrows. "We haven't had sex here yet."

"But," you started to say, but stopped as his lips began to make their way down your neck. "Ransom."

Soon the straps of your dress were pushed down and his mouth was wrapped around one of your nipples.

You forgot all about the piano until you arched your back and your elbows played a cringeworthy set of chords as they met the keys of the piano.

The chuckle that left Ransom's mouth sent vibrations straight from your nipple all the way to your clit.

"Oh my god," you said breathlessly.

Ransom's eyebrow arched and he grinned before he snaked his tongue around your nipple and then hummed against it, sending more pulses of pleasure surging through your body.

"Oh but this is so much fun," he teased before giving your other nipple the same pleasure-filled torture.

Your mouth fell open as you clenched your eyes closed as your body throbbed with desire.

Fumbling between your bodies, you undid the fastenings of his pants.

Once they were undone, he lifted the two of you slightly so he could lower his pants enough so that his hard cock sprang free.

"Pull your panties to the side," he all but demanded.

You obeyed and then felt him slide his length into you in one fluid motion.

The bench creaked under your combined weight as you moved above him, his hands planted firmly on your hips, guiding your movements.

“I do love a man who can cook,” you said with a grin as watched him.

He’d taken it upon himself to learn to cook during quarantine.

“Poor yourself a glass of wine,” he said with nod towards the open bottle on the counter. “Dinner will be ready in about twenty.”

“Don’t mind if I do,” you replied. You grabbed a wine glass and then poured yourself a drink.

“How was your day?” he asked as he turned down the music he’d been listening to.

As you told him, he continued to work on dinner. Moving from the stove to the counter to put together a salad. You offered to help, but he shook his head and motioned for you to keep talking about your day.

By the time you finished talking, he turned the dial on the stove to a lower setting and set a timer. Then held out his hand to you.

“What are we doing?” you asked as you placed your hand in his after setting your wine glass down.

“Dancing in the kitchen while we wait for dinner to finish,” he replied, spinning you into his embrace.

You relaxed even more as the two of you swayed together in the middle of the kitchen.

“So kiss me once,” he said as the song currently playing started to fade.

You giggled and kissed him.

“And kiss me twice.”

You kissed him again.

“And never let me go,” he said as your eyes met.

You’re standing in your closet shuffling through various dress. You only have about 20 minutes before you have to leave and not be late, but you can’t decide on what to wear. You already have on your favorite heels and lingerie set and you’re blasting your 80s playlist. With a grunt of frustration, you quickly turn on your heel and walk straight into the wall.

“Ouch! What the hell!?!” Strong arms wrap around your waist and you start thinking maybe you hit your head harder than you thought. “Hey sweetheart, you ok? I’m sorry, I wasn’t expecting you to turn so fast.” Rubbing your forehead, you look up into a pair of crystal blue eyes. “Steve? With a sheepish look he winces before saying, “ummm, through most of ‘little red corvette.’” You look around for something to throw at him only finding a bag nearby, so you hurl it at his head. He easily catches it with a raised brow. “Come on, y/n, it’s not like I haven’t seen you in your bathing suit before, we’ve been roommates for over a year now.”

“Ugh! STEVE! This is different.” He stands there with his perfect arms crossed over his perfect chest and stares at you. You decide to ignore him, dropping the dress to the floor and continuing your search. You’re pretty sure you hear him suck in a breath and a small smile plays on your lips. “Why are you standing here looking like this anyway?”

His question has you turning back to face him and shouting, “because I can’t decide what to wear for my date! And what do you mean by ‘looking like this’?!? No one asked you to look!” If you didn’t know Steve Rogers so well, you wouldn’t notice the small pink coloring rising on his cheeks before he answers you. “Lucky guy. You look gorgeous.”

“Maybe I should just go like this then.” Steve’s jaw tightens and his lips form into a hard line. “No.” The next song comes on and it’s ‘Raspberry Beret’ so you take your beret and put it on. “What about now?” This makes him crack a smile and you saunter closer. “You can’t go out looking like that.” His eyes unabashedly wander over your body and you can’t help how it makes you feel.

“Like. What?” You’re standing close enough now that the lace of your bra is brushing against his tee shirt. His hands lightly smooth down your arms and settle at your waist. “Like you should stay home with me instead. He’s probably not a nice guy anyway.” His voice is barely above a whisper and his lips are inches from yours. “And you’re a nice guy?”

Taking the beret from your head he tosses it to the floor and you barely register that he now has you pressed flush to his chest. His lips are suddenly on yours in a hungry kiss and a soft sound leaves the back of your throat, urging him on. The kiss is everything at once, demanding and sweet but tentative and then his tongue touches your lips, asking for entrance, and you open for him immediately.

When you finally break for air his eyes are no longer their usual bright blue and you chew your bottom lip at the sight, unsure what this means. “And to answer your question, I am a nice guy. So how about you go out with me instead?” His smile makes your heart skip a beat and before you know it, you’re shaking your head yes.

Picking you up over his shoulder he carries you out of the closet and drops you on the bed, licking his lips. “Dinner now? Or later? I’m a gentleman after all.” You go to kick your heels off and say, “definitely later.” He quickly covers your body with his murmuring, “leave the heels on,” before kissing you again.
