When I first saw the Canal+ reporters comment about Max “letting Lando through” my immediate reaction was that that was offensive to Lando.

Legit. My first thought was how insulting because what racing driver wants to win like that? And what racing driver would willingly just let their opponent through without defending?

And then I saw that Lando said it himself.

And well…my reaction to that? it’s just a bit sad really

my controversial opinion of the day is that the mclaren car is not as good as some of you are pretending it is. people keep calling it a rocketship and while i do think it's clearly the best car on the grid at the moment i don't think it's actually that much better than the mercedes or ferrari or even the red bull. all of this ferrari tractor or red bull junkheap talk is just not quite true. i do think that max are the ferrari boys are outdriving their cars but i also don't think they're totally shit cars

Idk. I'm not a Car™ guy, I like a vroom vroom and the engineering that goes into them, but speed and power numbers just aren't that interesting to me so I don't pay much attention to them.

But just now i was watching this video where they were hyping how much this mustang build they have done was the Fastest™ car one of the crew members had ever been in. And they told the speed.

92mph.

And like. I know that a car getting Up to 92 eventually and a car getting there in like 7 seconds is the difference here. That is absolutely an extremely powerful vehicle.

But I live near one of the roads here in Texas where the speed limit is 75mph and the unofficial speed limit was for a long while "whatever your car can do" so I've put 92 down on basically every vehicle, besides my big beautiful van, that I have ever driven. so that 92 figure being their Peak and what they use to describe how cool this car is to a lay audience is Extremely funny.

92 mph, the same speed my 0 trade in value 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee had a grand time doing before she was Rudely removed from my possession(about a month before her breaks finally crapped out rip my beautiful Geri (short for geriatric)).

right after AD21 they blamed teamlh of bullying masi instead of giving much needed attention to the actual theft. the reason i'm bringing it back is because they've shifted the narrative again to "lunatic" fans while also leaving Lewis to fend for himself (as always). while getting the police involved in investigation makes perfect sense, how's he sure no mercedes employee did it? he said himself they're still looking for IP and email addresses? so, how did he make that claim?

and how are we ignoring other and more important facts and questions? how is apparently this email list the same as the one used during the horner case? why has no one addressed the issue of tyre blankets which is basically the main thing most of us are still confused about? how have we moved on from legit inquisitions about lewis' treatment by the team to this? and most importantly, how are they going to explain faceless "lunatics" having access to personal contact numbers of the same accredited journalists (they also received these messages on whatsapp right?)

i've said several times that eye hate teamlh (the people who put him on a pedestal and judge him through their own moral standards) but i'm also well aware that #teamlh are also the most hated people just because they stan lewis. it's extremely easy to turn the attention entirely on them and enjoy the chaos and i see it's what's happening 🤷🏾‍♀️
