Boulder sleeps like his namesake but the emergency alarm or someone crying will wake him up like this 🫰[finger snap emoji]

crying thinking abt this. boulder really is just a little guy.

anyways ik i made that post where i mentioned that apparently the rescue bots don't sleep but for the sake of cuteness we're ignoring that.

we've never seen any beds for the bots even tho in "changes" we saw their bunker room with all their tech, and the sigma doesn't seem like it has beds either. so where do they sleep? on the floor, in a big pile of blankets and bots, duh 🙄.

out of all of them, boulder is the one who likes this arrangement best. he likes being close to people, and he's very physically affectionate, so why wouldn't he want to sleep near the other bots? his favorite spot is with his head on heatwave's lap, arms hugging chase, with blades slung partially over his chest. when he can't have that, curling up in a ball is just as warm and almost as comfy (he often goes to take a nap alone, and wakes up with the others lying around him).

almost nothing can wake him up but the second someone's in trouble he's up. the bots joke about him having a sixth sense or something because it's just uncanny the amount of times boulder has gone to find them in the middle of a recharge cycle and helped them before they could even ask. they all appreciate these late nights more than they're willing to admit, so they make sure to let boulder sleep in afterwards.
