mario galaxy speedrunning gets a bad rep for being, and i quote, "a boring long jump simulator" because it doesn't have the same fancy skips and complex movement as games like mario 64 or mario sunshine, but i think that take is really uninformed. galaxy speedrunners have some really insane skips that utilize the game's different gravity systems and various movement mechanics. just last year, this skip was found that saves about 40 seconds and skips an entire level

and this trick, while slightly older, also skips pretty much an entire level

it's really cool and impressive to watch and you should check out some speedruns for these games if you're interested

Talked to Ezra and asked what kind of collage artist they looked up to, suggesting Broobs.

Reading an article about Broobs and his practice - What I found admirable about him is that he doesn't want ownership of his work as he wants it to exist for everyone, for people to be happy and to live long happy lives. This I was able to connect with on a deeper level, I hope that throughout my practice I am able to share work with others to cherish and to laugh to some of the cultural similarities.

--------- Wasn't so happy with my current layout - I decided to visualise my poster from my past papers and implement some styles I look up to from the creative I've researched. What is important to me, considering that I'm using Buddha in my poster I want to ensure that I represent him appropriately and not disrespect the religion as it wasn't my intention.
