the reason genuinely well reasoned and insightful video essays/reviews are so rare these days is because the very best stuff comes from the most niche and unwell sickos who are badly obsessed with their thing and it shows. and those ppl are not usually great on camera and can’t bring themselves to insult their special topic by cranking out view-chaser slop every day.
