Btw, we kinda know Ren speaks in an ancient, poetic way, he was an artist/craftsman. And then there is JY who recited poems in his idle animation. He was born during wars, a soldier at a young age and (maybe) used to has a boner for swords and martial arts.

Bachira is always giving you the most random gifts.

He saw a funky shaped rock while outside? It went straight into his pocket and soon into your hands. A local artist is selling mini figures made of buttons or shells? He finds the ones that look most like you two and buys the pair for you. You like flowers? Well not only are you getting fresh picked ones from the side of the road, you're also getting pretty looking weeds thrown into the bundle.

He's also very crafty when it comes to his gifts. He'll paint rocks to give to you and he'll make you bracelets made of random materials around the house. He also loves to keep the stickers from fruits to stick on your face, sneaking up behind you and sticking it right on your cheek with a cheery grin.

As weird as it seems, this all comes from a place of love. He loves you so much that he sees you in everything. He sees you in the sunshine, in the starry sky. He sees you when two snails slowly slide down a leaf. He sees you when a flower blooms. He's just so excited to have you, to love you, and he wants to make sure you never forget that!

OK you know that. Thing. When you’re watching a piece of visual media that’s been going on for a while, and it started with very simple, almost abstract, character designs, but as time went on and the artist skills/technology improved, and they could consistently make more elaborate character designs, new additions to the cast would be more consistently elaborate in their design and the characters who were grandfathered in from those earlier installments wind up looking a little goofy alongside them?

Is there a name for that? Is this a recognized phenomenon? I’ve been calling it character design creep in my head

Sometimes I sketch pre-trauma and pirate Reaver for my own mental health and these two actually came out alright. Pirate Reaver is my all time favourite and I like to imagen him using a bow before guns were a thing. Also saw someone HC him with naturally curly hair and I 100% agree because it's so much easier to draw.

I did post some Mileven day art over there actually, just a splash of colour on a very old sketch. Tumblr is just not the ideal spot for me to post much pertaining to them, which is why I really haven’t been active all that much. The environment here is just very hostile. Maybe in the future I will get back to using this site but for now, it doesn’t seem likely. I’m also just a bit at an arms length with ST in general. I’ve been very busy with work and my evolving taste and interests which still includes ST of course.

I’d like to publish more meta here someday about El’s neurodiversity. That’ll be for another day. Thank you again 🤍

Thinking about Ren actively hurting himself, throwing himself into extreme dangers then comes to DH’s room afterwards, making the man patches him up. DH is so scared of his recklessness, the way the immortality activates haunts him. He cried at the sight, his hands red with Ren’s blood while the man just smiles slowly (and short-breathed). He titles down at his eyes’ level and whispers to his ears. “Look at it, don’t run away from it. This is what you have done to me, YYJ.”

i think it'd be funny if air ghouls were like real bird species in terms of looks. the ghouls are just covered head to toe in bright feathers, cool plumage and funky patterns meanwhile the ghoulettes are just variations of brown beige and grey. air and zephyr being walking art exhibits meanwhile copias panicking because his newly summoned air ghoulettes dont look as flashy and he thinks he fucked up the ritual.
