Selling one(1) MCR ticket❗️

i was supposed to go with my friend but they had to sell their tickets and I don't even know if I'll be able to afford the trip anyway

one ticket for The Black Parade at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, PA @ 6:00pm on Friday, August 15

once again ticketmaster is fucking me over, I can resell but the service fee to do so is a percent of the resale price, so to Actually get back what I paid for the ticket I would have to upsell it by $150 which I'm not doing, and instant sell will only give me back half of the base price of the ticket, not including all the fees I paid for, which I'm also not doing

when in the 5 nights in LA at the Kia Forum in 2022 the drum kit had increasing tick marks for bullets, revenge, danger days, and the final night but on BLACK PARADE night it was a picture of someone in a RECORDING STUDIO. I am going to EXPLODE.

MCR/fascism rambling based on the tour trailer

fascism as an ideology, which is mainly known for its control of information, control of its people, hyper militarism, and hypernationalism, also has to gain this power and derive it from its citizens (this is mcr related)

fascism gains power by its leadership from one strong figure giving promises to a disparaged society by promising both the removal/ isolation/extermination of an "out group"

however, the leader also has to give its citizens a narrative of rebirth or a revival of a great era from the (imagined) past

now, this relates to our favorite crummy pop punk band because their new tour might center around the fascistic tendencies that can arise from this form of nostalgia. as an example, they've been critical of people who idolize the 2000s emo scene

people were abusive to each other, hayley williams talked about the horrible sexism at the time, and the band were all depressed and drunk a lot

i think they're also being silly about it, they're not mad at fans who want them to return to the black parade era (it is their best album) but they're just being kind of cheeky with the comparison

my point is it might be these constant calls for the band to return to their once great state that made them create a silly dictator/fascist character for the new tour

also this post is just an excuse for me to talk about fascism because i like talking about politics a lot
