Did anyone else notice that Liurnia of the Lakes is literally The Moon Arcana from Tarot

Like seriously

For starters the card shows a marshland, which like "Liurnia of the Lakes"

Then there's the crayfish right in the middle and I'm sure no one can forge these fuckers

Then there's a red dog and a wolf side by side

Flanked on each side by two large structures

and of course, above it all, hangs the moon

That is not even considering the road down the middle that leads into the mountains, which is obviously the great road that leads to the lift and the Altus Plateau

And of course there's the whole symbolic tie to be considered. Not only is Liurnia ruled by a family with strong ties to the moon, but the Moon Arcana is also strongly tied to dreams, illusions, the unconscious mind, and knowledge

All things that are strongly tied either to Raya Lucaria, to the Carian nobles, or Ranni and Rennala themselves. And are all things you'll find in spades in this region of the game

...so yeah. I guess I'll start comparing other Elden Ring regions to tarot cards to maybe see if that's a real pattern or if I'm talking out of my ass here

meet my 2302.5 point monstrosity, the artfight tarot!! i busted my ass for a solid week getting all of these out and i am so happy with how it turned out

Originally I did not know what to do with my Odysseus esper but after listening to some epic the musical songs I have some really cool ideas

Basically like he hasn't technically seen his family in 10 years but that's only because he was in the union all this time but then

Starting from 2027 he's like unironically missing

And also for context I have his son as an esper of Patroclus

Tldr

Achilles esper event: Adrian helping his boyfriend track down his dad

Also I like to think that they end up metaphorically encountering some events that are inspired by obstacles in The Odyssey

It's going to be very very very very loosely based

I am including certain espers with patrons like Scylla calypso and what not and they are going to be a few new OCS

Some of them non esper but representing Odyssey characters

Some of them existing espers who might not be in the same mythology but they do serve a purpose

Oh epic the musical we're really in for it now

I know technically it means the event technically focuses more on relationships other than Adrian himself but like he's kind of like the glue starting it and moving stuff forward

And there is in fact a personal character arc for him in there

I'm going to be putting a bunch of four stars in this event

I imagine some of the events happened to Peter and it would be Adrian and Orion walking in on the aftermath

While some of the loose events would happen to the boys directly

It's probably going to be like an odyssey Saga where the characters kind of move back and forth between the worlds but it's held together by the story

So there's going to be an event for

Adrian (Achilles)

Orion (Patroclus)

And Peter (Odysseus) to tie it all together

Although I am a little torn as to whether I should put Orion first or Adrian

Because technically you can count them as both protagonists because they're the ones following the trail that was left behind by peter

Peter can also be counted as a protagonist but I'm having parts of his perspective obscured until his event

Supporting characters include dahlia, Meredith, a little cameo from leora or David maybe

I was almost thinking about Arcana making an appearance but no one will probably need to give me propaganda for that dude to make me consider

Biodina has a partial role that shares loose similarities to Poseidon's actions but it's more impersonal

If anything she would be acting on behalf of a client or someone who had accompanied Peter on his personal project that caused him to disappear but then they disappeared too

I think you can tell I have kind of been listening to epic the musical because this is why I have so many thoughts on this

I Def am planning on Peter having certain espers as temporary traveling companions

For the prophet who ends up giving the prophecy on one hand I could take a certain canon character who is already predisposed to seeing the future but on the other hand it would not be wrong for me to make an entire OC

But also dont I want to go through the effort?

Because they effectively share the same purpose of saying a prophecy

And also I think the problem I have the most is that like I already have arcs planned out for Orion + peter

It's mostly me figuring out stuff for Adrian

All right I did figure out a reason for the disappearance

Basically I kind of engineered my own ocean monument where I imagine there's like a bunch of Raya shit in there and then initially Peter owed a favor to someone and they decided to cash in on that favor so that he investigates the archeology site for him but then after that stuff starts going wrong when he decides to turn around and go home after they got everything

Tema yang diangkat yakni menyinggung isu penting terkait kebersihan sungai dan sumber air, mengingat dampak banjir di musim penghujan. Saat dihubungi, Lurah Peguyangan, I Gede Sudi Arcana menyampaikan, selain peningkatan literasi, kegiatan yang dihadiri juga Bunda Literasi Kelurahan Peguyangan, Ny. Dian Ekawati Sudi Arcana ini juga ditujukan untuk mempererat hubungan antara sekolah dan kelurahan. "Kita harapkan nantinya kegiatan ini akan dapat melibatkan berbagai unsur tingkatan pendidikan, mulai dari TK/PAUD, SD, SMP, SMA/SMK, hingga Universitas yang ada di lingkungan Kelurahan Peguyangan," katanya. TEN OF SWORDS

"You know the saddest thing about betrayal? It never comes from an enemy." - Michael Corleone, The Godfather

The Ten of Swords is the ultimate betrayal, when you get stabbed in the back by people you thought were on your side. You've been victimized, beaten up and left for dead. This is the feeling of hitting rock bottom when it's the darkest point of your journey. This is like the man-made tower, someone did something horrible to you, something you didn't expect. There's exhaustion here, a sense of 'why me' but maybe some melodramatic overexaggerating-- for it's always darkest before the dawn and even though you feel as if you're at your lowest point and this is the final nail in the situation or relationship, you are still free to move on from here now that the truth has come out. It's time to choose a way forward and move onto something with better foundation.

::Who's Who On This Card::

1. Namaari's Betrayal Scene from Raya And The Last Dragon - In Raya And The Last Dragon, Raya met Namaari as friends, never knowing that she was plotting to steal the magical gem from her people the whole time. Once Namaari showed her true colors however it was too late, Raya's father was killed and darkness fell over the land. This sudden collapse and breakdown, leading to Raya's kingdom's ruin shows the shock of the Ten of Swords well.

2. Sedna from Inuit Mythology - Sedna was betrayed by her father when they went out on the sea together, ending up getting tossed overboard and left to drown to keep their ship from sinking in rough water. As a final betrayal, he cut off her fingers as she clung to the side-- but those fingers turned into all the sea creatures of the ocean, becoming whales, seals and fish. This story shows the two sides of the Ten of Swords, the betrayal but also the silver lining.

3. Ides of March - The Ides of March was the day Julius Caesar, the dictator of Rome, was stabbed to death in the Senate. This attack was committed by those who served along side of him, but also by one of his best friends Brutus. His last words are often sited as "Et tu, Brute" meaning "You too, Brutus?"

4. Han's Betrayal from Frozen - When Anna needed a kiss of true love from the man she thought loved her true to break a curse, Han instead told her, "Oh Anna, if only there was someone out there who loved you" before he went to take over her kingdom. This sudden heel-turn caused all her hopes to collapse, as she finally realized he was only ever interested in his own narcissistic goals.     5. Massacre At Two Pines Scene from Kill Bill - On the day Beatrix was to be married to another man, her ex showed up and promised he wouldn't cause trouble if she invited him to her wedding. Instead of keeping this promise, her ex and his hired men ended up killing everyone at the wedding and brutally attacking her. This was the lowest point for her in the movie, where she was left for dead-- but as the Ten of Swords tells us, she didn't end up a victim for long.

6. Ruby's Betrayal from Supernatural - After thinking they were working on the same side, Sam was taken by complete surprise after learning Ruby was working to set Lucifer free. Stunned by his utter failure and the way he'd been set up by her, the terrible reality of the situation him and his brother were now in was a bitter surprise. It's this rock bottom that the Ten of Swords warns us of when it pops up in a reading.
