ROUND 4 MATCH 7
Tumblr media
Chrom propaganda:
“Chrobin (Chrom x player character) is so many tropes in one oml. You have friends-to-lovers (Chrom and Robin are canonically best friends according to Nintendo), enemies-to-lovers (Robin is heir to the Grimleal cult, the enemy of the Halidom of Ylisse which Chrom is the prince, and later king, of), there's amnesia, time travel, official next-gen AUs, changed dialogue to lore important events in the game if you marry Chrom, and Nintendo keeps teasing us with the ship. Cheery prince who knows when to be serious, very strategically smart but very bad at communicating, a guy that can comfort you when you're down, make a fool of himself when you're not around, and he's just generally a very sweet guy. Also please consider the fact that you get to watch a cutscene of him dying in the prologue and despite the horrors he's just so supportive of the protagonist. Chrom doesn't care about where you came from or who you're related to, he cares for YOU. He gets KILLED by the protag and he reassures them that they did nothing wrong and pleads with them to get out, to a safe place. I lost my soul to Chrom, I physically can't play this game without romancing him.”
“He eats oranges with the peel still on, he's an absolute himbo. Also the writers accidentally made his daughter canonically trans so he definitely supports trans rights. And technically you can only marry him if you play as female Robin but their dynamic is still just as romantic if you play as male Robin (they literally call each other their other half and m!Robin and Chrom have a valentine's day duo unit in the gatcha, and in the anthology manga m!Robin asks Chrom to make polygamy legal so he can also marry Chrom's wife and they can be a family) so most people play the game with the gay mod so they can still marry him as a guy. He's incredibly stupid ("yeah, let's set all our ships on fire then walk through a volcano, you're so smart, Robin" "I know you've had prophetic visions about killing me and our daughter came from the future to warn us it would happen but I'm sure THIS TIME it won't because of the power of our bonds") but also really sweet. In the summer DLC they're fighting on a beach and when he sees Robin get excited over a weird creature they found he immediately forgets about the battle and starts trying to make a bunch of crafts (and failing) and cooking food (and failing again) and writing "Chrom and Robin were here" in the sand so that Robin could have some nice beach memories. I'm obsessed with this man”
Asra propaganda:
“He GIVES AWAY HALF HIS HEART TO REVIVE YOU okay but like. He's the MCs roommate and they were together for a few years before the MC caught a plague and died and he obsesses over a way to bring them back before succeeding by making a deal with a god to trade half his heart for MC and betraying the emperor. And then when MC comes back but without any of their memories, he takes care of them and teaches them how to live all over again and he never asks for anything in return. On all the routes where you don't choose him he's really supportive and helps you out despite your history and overall he's just really nice and supportive of the MC and is their rock no matter what route you go down. Also he has a pet snake named Faust and I love her she's so <33
Idk I just appreciate him so much”
"He gave you half his HEART!! He would literally go to hell and back for you!! He wants to take you on adventures all around the world—doesn’t matter where, as long as he’s by your side!! AND he’s nonbinary!!!"

The Sun: The Collector
Upright: Happiness, optimism, fun, vitality, joy, confidence, positivity, warmth, success
Reversed: Inner child, excessive enthusiasm, unrealistic expectations, overly optimistic, sadness, conceitedness, negativity
The most positive card in the major arcana, the Sun radiates joy and light: a sign of happiness, success, and vitality. The Collector is one of the most happy-go-lucky characters in the Owl House, a concentrated embodiment of childish joy with his love of games. Even in their shadow form, we rarely see them without a devilish grin on their face, taking delight in the “games” he plays with Belos. Their greatest moment of triumphant joy comes when King frees them from the moon disk, ending their millennia-long imprisonment and allowing him access to his full range of powers—which he eagerly uses to begin the funnest game yet: The Owl House! He feels more alive than he has in a very long time, and he intends to make the most of it.
The Sun card isn’t without its downsides. Reversed, it can indicate you’re being overly positive or optimistic about a certain situation, when you should be approaching it from a more realistic or serious mindset. The Collector uses the people of the Boiling Isles as playthings in their game, and even views the abuse of the grimwalkers as a form of entertainment, not fully comprehending the personhood of mortal creatures nor the weight of what death means to them. He treats every situation with the same childish humor, believing death is as simple a problem to fix as a broken toy. The reversed Sun’s themes of sadness and negativity come into play when he is abruptly disavowed of this notion; Luz’s death in the finale shatters their overly positive worldview, causing them to feel real grief for the first time. They won’t be able to view the world in the same light anymore—but that’s a good thing. Because before, his joy came at the expense of everybody else’s; now, he's free to learn how to generate his own happiness, and radiate that positivity so that his friends might feel its warmth.

Puppykeeper AU!
(Based on the ask by @little-bunny-with-purple-stinger initally answered by Comrade @the-blossica-fan )
Summary: Sonetto joins Vertin and the others in the Breakaway Incident but this time it's Sonetto the sole survivor - becoming the TimeKeeper!
Yes I thought about this AU, and Im bored waiting for 2.1 and 2.4 respectively so indulge in my suffering in grabbing the ball and chucking it into the next era.
Major Differences to Canon:
Her relationships to early game cast, espeically Regulus and Druvis is much rougher in canon - the story will have a focus on Sonetto attempting to build these connections over time. Team TK in this AU have alot of growing pains.
Sonetto even as TK is more sheltered, a "looking through the glass" perspective to the outside world in comparison to Vertin, she takes much longer to adapt to operating outside of direct orders of the Foundation.
Vertin being essentially dead in this AU, she gets to haunt the narrative this time :) (mostly)
Overhaul to Books 1/2 as seen in the previous post (look for the au tag idk to link in mobile):
Extended time in 1920s Chicago - from 33 hours to a week.
Schneider is more prominent in this AU, this is friends to enemies to reluctant partners to lover yuri! Yes Schnieder also survives the 1920s Storm in this AU. She will occupy Vertin's role as a spark of rebellion and insight for Sonetto into Italian culture!
Other differences:
As all ages are the same Matilda is not Sonetto's Chief Assistant: shes currently still in SPDM until 2.0 event story.
Main story differences in broad very broad ideas: @the-blossica-fan comrade feel free if u want to add anything:
Book 3/4
😅 Complete overhaul again, Schnieder barely survives the Storm and is rendered into a coma, immediately is taken by the Foundation and monitored (so again taking Vertin's place). Sonetto and the early TK Team is still separated and pressured into joining the Foundation. Sonetto does follow her canon arc in the story but with the added eventual goal to create a Bill that gives the people that she saves more freedom - cue Reformation Bill as part of the Chicago Branch trial. Over the course of the story Sonetto slowly learns why Vertin goes to such lengths to escape SPDM, the Bill as the first step.
(Btw Book 3 is not only flashbacks of the Breakaway but also more as well from Schneider as Mesmer is put in charge of her, as the request of Sonetto)
Book 5
💀 Aperion is my achilles heel in every sense, so heres the general idea of what I will alter:
Events more or more play out the same, differences being Schnieder's presence causing a strain in her and Sonetto's very rocky relationship so far, and greater emphasis and involvement of Sophia. Yes Sonetto will speak out in the Hall by attacking Arcana, yes she will be put on trial for her transgessions.
But how does she win the arguement? Well. She doesn't.
But someone does intervene to aid her, team TK wasn't the only visitors of the island at that point: a duo had appeared shortly before very did. One of them is claimed by 37 as a 0, their interference saves Sonetto's life.
Ok major divergence from Canon:
The presence of Urd and "Skuld":
(Very clunky naming system just playing with the Three Norns from Norse Mythology, Urd being fate and Skuld being present. Also because Verdandi is too much on the nose)
Turns out Vertin is very not dead! In the Breakaway Vertin does still have her immunity, Sonetto surviving may have been because of her (aka this is me telling you im leaving it ambiguous because i too dont know, im making it work in a narrative sense). Vertin unseen to Sonetto is miraculously picked up by Urd, so mother-daughter duo travelling the world and gaining insight and haunting the damn narrative as Urd already does but double the annoyance to people figuring out who is who.
So Vertin is a editor and photographer for UTTU alongside her mother, knowing the truth of the Storm and can only watch Sonetto from a distance, only interfering with necessary. Hence saving her in the trial. How does she not recognise Vertin? Through manipulation of the fog, we know on some level the Storm can infect memories so lets say the duo can similar to the immunity can obscure facts about themselves.
So anyways, Sonetto was tasked to find the pair (duo name TBA) similar to Vertin in canon on the Island. Tie it back to seeing the outside world promise Vertin gave her and boom, two motivations for Sonetto, fulfil the wish of an old friend and now seek the people that might have answers to the Storm especially the one that eerily reminds her of Vertin.
More or less everything plays out the same, Sonetto does get more involved with 37, again growing pains with Sonetto learning to be a more charismatic leader alongside Schneider giving tips.
In terms of events: more or less the same, where Vertin is replace with Sonetto (Uluru), for Greenlake sans Vertin replace with Schneider (general idea again I point to @schneiderenjoyer 's AU they did a Greenlake event with Schnieder, its more or less the idea here with ofc no Vertin).
Ok thats all for now folks! Feel free to change or add anything. Feel free to ask as well I like to feed the brainworms now and again

Pixie - Day 110
Race: Fairy
Arcana: Lovers
Alignment: Neutral
September 13th, 2024
Tumblr media
Kept you waiting, huh? As the unofficial mascot of the series next to Jack Frost, Pixie is no doubt among the most famous symbols relating to the series. While SMT itself is a relatively niche franchise, (surprisingly, given its connection to the giant that is Persona,) if you ask someone with even the vaguest familiarity of SMT to name a demon, it'll likely be Pixie. She's the tricky first partner of Nocturne, a frequently recurring character throughout many of the games in the series, and a perfectly emblematic figure for everything SMT as a whole is about- whimsy mixed with intrigue, with a slight splashing of horror. After all, Pixies are more than just pretty faces in the stories they originate from, so let's delve into the strange world of this archetypal fairy's past.
Pixies are actually a very common motif throughout much of England- while most famously originating in Great Britain, they recur in several areas, tying them to Celtic folklore closely, as their name may also originate in said Celtic areas. However, this has been disputed, as some argue it originated from the Swedish 'pyske,' meaning 'small fairy,' so the overall origin is rather controversial. However, we can pinpoint a concrete origin for Pixies, at least in some respects, in the towns of Cornwall and Devon, a pair of British towns who share quite a bit of mythology regarding said pixies. They're overall said to have a humanoid stature, though their actual size is up for debate in several stories- some paint them as being human child sized, others far smaller, though the general pop-culture consensus is them being very small, likely due to their role and importance in one of the most famous Shakespearean plays, A Midsummer Night's Dream. I'll save that talk for an eventual Oberon discussion, as we're not quite there yet, but they're very intrinsically connected to said play.
Pixies were very connected to magic and paganism, such as concepts like fairy rings, though they were separate beings from 'Fairies' themselves in some cultures- it's a very case-by-case basis, unfortunately, as sometimes Fairy is used as a catch-all term for small winged humans, and sometimes pixie, sometimes they're used interchangeably, etc, etc. Around southern Devon, an area known as Dartmoor, Pixies were a rather prevalent group who would commonly play pranks but were generally helpful, sticking around children and disguising themselves as children or as bundles of rags to catch their attention. Pixies seem to be generally agreed to not be malevolent, though they can cause quite a bit of indirect harm with their antics, whether it be playing around with children causing them to disappear or playing frequent pranks on adults in communities. Most famously of these pranks is one in which they cause a traveler to become 'Pixy-led,' in which they, well, lead a traveler astray and cause them to wander about aimlessly. To make up for this, though, Pixies are also said to frequently do housework and generally assist humanity when they need help, though this is still broken up by frequent pranks.
In terms of appearance, Pixies are generally seen as wearing very little, though there appears to be a very high valuing of bows within their culture- for the most part, they're generally naked, are very small, have a pair of wings, and look very young. While harmless for the most part, they punish neglect of children by stealing them away while playing with them from their parents, something that is actually far more of a general fairy thing to do, albeit minus the changelings. They're overall seen as a rather positive part of the British countryside, bringing joy and help in equal parts to many, though again, their propensity for bothering others and playing pranks may catch the ilk of some. Now, with all of that gone over, in terms of design in SMT... what is there really to comment on? If you think of pixie, you probably think of the SMT pixie, as it's a perfect microcosm of basically everything a Pixie actually is. 10/10, no notes. In terms of the games, Pixies are typically very early-game demons who have a specialty in magic, tying into their magical roles in folklore, and in many games they're actually the starting demon, most famously being in Nocturne, wherein if you take your pixie to the very end of the Amala Labyrinth, you can unlock...
Tumblr media
SSSUUUUPERRRR PIIIXIIIIIEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
Which is probably one of the most iconic Easter eggs in the series. Overall, Pixie is an incredibly iconic and fun demon in the series, and one that I, and many others, absolutely love. Granted, I'm sure some have PTSD from the Demi-Fiend fight in SMT V, but... hell, whatever, it's Pixie.

Remember this tier list I made a while ago when 2.2 was being teased on CN. Well, now that said patch is coming to Global, I wanna post an updated version of said list now that I've finished 2.4 and have had time to really think about everything
Tumblr media
Here it is.
Changes since last tier list:
- Floor it! To the Golden City (2.0) (Low B to High B): After actually experiencing the patch on Global myself, I will say that my enjoyment has gone up, though not enough to get it to A. Still wish Mercuria had more presence in the main story ngl.
- Route 77: The Haunted Highway (2.1) (Mid A to Low A): Still a good story in my opinion, I just like 1.2 more.
2.2-2.4 reviews will be below the cut as there are a lot of major spoilers:
- Tristes Tropiques (2.2) (High C): I don't wanna dampen the mood of the general fandom, especially since this is literally the next patch on Global but they really fumbled the bag with this one. The lack of any Brazilian representation (outside of the NPCs) as well as the questionable elements of Anjo's/Kimberly's writing really harms the story. It also doesn't help that expectations were really high due to 2.2 being a main story patch. There is a lot of very interesting lore in 2.2 (Arcana not being dead, the new information about Dores/Urd, the "Moth" agent the Foundation has planted, etc.) and Lopera's a fun character but those aren't enough to save this patch I fear.
- Chronicles of Uluru: London Dawning (2.3) (High A): For a filler patch, it was a nice and chill short story. I do wish there was more tension as the stakes felt relatively low for most of the patch but the new characters as well as TF's return well made up for that. Loved the healthy yuri between Willow and Caroline especially.
- Last Evenings on Earth (2.4) (Top 3): An actual breath of fresh air. Everything in this patch was so so so amazing. The plot was good, the writing was good, the pacing was good, everything was delightful. The new characters as well as Ulrich and Regulus' returns were executed so well. And the lore is so dense??? /pos. The Artifical Storm experiment, Nukutaeao, Regulus' record being immune to the Storm, the information from the Regulus satellite itself, etc. This should've been a main story patch what the hell. I do wish Fatutu had a tiny bit more screen time but overall, this is legit the best event story in the entire game.

Persona 5 Arcana Swap: Queenpin Of The Metaverse
I had this idea when I was awake one night and before I knew it I was opening a google doc to start writing a new Arcana Swap fic.
I have A LOT of ideas for all of the characters involved in this. Mostly revolving around various 'what-ifs' and headcanons I have in regards to the original story of P5R.
There's still a lot of kinks I Ned to iron out, specifically the confidants.
But the general idea of the phantom thieves has been sorted out in a way that I think I'm pretty satisfied with.
So keep in mind that some of these ideas may change later as I think of new plot threads to introduce, but for the most part the stories of the new Phantom Thieves of Hearts has been pretty well thought out.
So here we go! Introducing...
My Arcana Swapped Phantom Thieves:
Sumire Yoshizawa-Maruki - The Fool
Codename: Queenpin
Persona: Queenie
Despite being the protagonist and the fool, she doesn't have the wildcard ability, since I don't feel the need to include it from a literary standpoint.
MUCH different than her canon counterpart in behavior, as well as the fact that my version of her is trans and autistic (ME?! PROJECTING?! NOOO...)
The story of her arrest is that she came from an abusive household, one day she punched her father in a fit of rage while he insulted her for not being as good as her sister. The next night, the police crash into her room claiming they had an anonymous tip that Sumire had guns and narcotics in her possession, sure enough, when they searched her backpack, that's exactly what they found.
Her parents also hired someone to rig the trial she was forced to attend, they made it so they would be able to disown Sumire and people would think it was her own fault for being a criminal. When everything was said and done, her parents were all too happy to package her stuff up and send her to live with a foster caretaker to the other side of Tokyo.
After Sumire got to experience true freedom when she stood up to her parents, even if only for a moment, she vowed to never let people walk on her again. Which is exactly how her persona is able to coax her into having an awakening.
She's much less blindly polite than her canon counterpart. She's not insulting people left and right or anything, but she can and will call someone out on their bullshit. She's also not above some light jabs with her friends.
She flirts with every cute girl or hot guy with all the confidence of a maxed charm stat, but she immediately turns into a blushing puddle if anyone actually flirts back.
Growing up with strict parents who were trying to raise a perfect Olympic gymnast leaves her to feel the need to ask permission for the littlest things from any adults near her. She's fine in a room with just her friends or other kids, but when an adult is in the room she goes stiff and doesn't speak unless spoken to, the other thieves compare it to her almost going into a trance.
On the note from the above statement, she feels a little weird about being around people her age that are fine with acting relaxed around adults. it almost triggers a flight or fight or freeze response when one of the thieves so much as moves when an adult is talking.
She eventually starts a running gag with the thieves of calling Principal Kobayakawa, "Principal Humpty-Dumpty".
Her persona Queenie is called the godmother of Harlem, similar to how Arsene was called the pillager of twilight in the original. Queenie was the alias of an early 20th century mob boss, a woman who's own gang was so strong that she was able to keep Harlem clear of much more dangerous threats, she also employed many Harlem citizens with positions in her numbers-game schemes.
Queenie helps Sumire remain attached to reality whenever she's having a particularly rough time. Going from such a strict household to total freedom can give you some serious whiplash, so Queenie makes sure Sumire doesn't completely lose her mind from the sudden shift, while simultaneously helping her learn more about freedom.
Goro - The Magician
Codename: Ace
Persona: Sherlock Holmes
An ally who helps Sumire and Makoto by providing the information on palaces and changes of heart.
He doesn't fully take canon Mona's place, as he is completely human rather than the embodiment of humanity's hope. He does act as the resident expert on the metaverse due to the fact that he was once involved in the research of cogninitve psience, specifically, he was the first successful case of a person being transported to the metaverse when he was 13. Unfortunately, he ended up being trapped in Mementos for around 4 months without knowing how to escape.
The distortions of the metaverse affected him by turning his skin pure white with constantly changing black patterns, similar to Loki's design, he also has large crow wings on his back. In the real world, his skin turns it's normal color and his wings and dazzle-camouflage turn into tattoos all over his body.
He obviously doesn't have the ability to make people turn violent like he did in canon, nor does he have the ability to hold more than one persona. He's simply a guy who happens to know a lot about the metaverse and chooses to use that knowledge to fulfill his long-lost childhood dream of becoming a hero, he also has the hopes of making his mom proud from heaven.
Despite not going down the path of becoming a personal hit man for Shido, he still keeps his patented Goro snark that he had in the canon third semester. Though it's in much more of a-"I'm to tired to be polite"- way, and less of a-"Fuck you, just let me die already"-way.
My favorite line I've written for him so far is: "I'm Joe Schmoe from Shits-ville, DOES IT MATTER?!"
^This is right after Makoto tries to ask who he is.
Since he doesn't take on a different form in this AU, it means that he can't transform into a bus like Mona can. But he IS able to conjure a rather large trolley car thanks to his distortions giving him an understanding of how Mementos functions on a fundamental level
There's a running gag between the phantom thieves that Goro is homeless,-(think that one bit between Dream and Technoblade)-since nobody has ever actually seen where Goro lives. He likes to join in on the joke sometimes by coming up with increasingly ridiculous excuses as to why they can't come over.
^"Sorry, my house just got destroyed by an asteroid the other day. That's the third time this week too...OH WELL!"
His persona is Sherlock Holmes, not because he's a detective, but because in the early writings, Holmes was described as being a "Bohemian Genius", as well as being very antisocial and more like a renegade P.I. rather a straight-laced detective.
Holmes basically acts as Goro's impulse control, he also helps Goro realize whenever he needs to actually talk to his friends instead of being a smartass 24/7.
Makoto Niijima - The Chariot
Codename: Panda
Persona: Shek Yeung
Sumire's first friend at Shujin Academy, as well as the one who helps her investigate the newfound metaverse with Goro.
She used to be the same "good-girl type of pushover" that she was in canon, until her first day of high school when Kamoshida reeled her in as his newest catch. Halfway through her second year, she decided enough was enough and confronted Kamoshida about how he treated the students, unfortunately, Kamoshida being Kamoshida, tried to sexually assault her while in the student council room. She fought back at him, but he overpowered her and did the same thing that was implied to have happened to Suzui in canon.
After Makoto recovered from the...incident, she tried going straight to the principal about the issues, but he shut her down and called her delusional for insinuating that Mr. Kamoshida could have done something like that. Before she knew what was happening, her position as student council president went out the window, and she was suddenly known as "The girl who tried to whore herself out to Kamoshida-sensei"
To Makoto, it was almost liberating to have all of the expectations of the student council ripped off of her back-(minus the sexual assault part). She turned lemons into lemonade and decided that if people were going to give her dirty looks, she might as well have fun while doing it! So she dyed her hair all kinds of colors (mostly blonde), ditched the school blazer in favour of a customized bomber jacket, and fully embraced becoming a sukeban.
She swears a LOT, more than even Ryuji did in canon.
Chie had steak, Ryuji had ramen, and Makoto has pocky sticks. She always has at least two boxes on her person at all times, and always has one in her mouth, only eating it if shit starts to get real. If she looks you dead in the eye and starts chewing her pocky, you better start running before she swallows...
Makoto has, and will continue to start fights whenever some punk-ass thinks they can get away with being transphobic or ableist to Sumire, or any of the other thieves for that matter.
Less of an overprotective-mom and more like a badass-mom who's fresh out of jail. She's very lax most time but will instantly get on your ass if you do something stupid enough.
Her persona, Shek Yeung, was a woman from a brothel who married a pirate. After the death of her husband, she took his place as the captain of the Guangdong Pirate federation, who ravaged the coast of South China.
Shek Yeung helps Makoto fill the void that was left when Sae stopped trying to talk to her, acting as a big sister that supports Makoto when she can't support herself. She reminds Makoto to give herself some time to be selfish, as well as helping her be more open about what she actually wants in life.
Futaba Ishiki-Sakura - The Lovers
Codename: Rumor
Persona: Cleopatra
The chaotic gremlin child who unfortunately gets caught in Kamoshida's perverted grip when she first starts high school.
She joins the group a lot earlier than canon Ann did, mostly because she's a lot more pragmatic when thinking of solutions to her problems. She realizes pretty quickly that Sumire, Makoto, and "The guy with the weird tattoos" are scheming something that has to do with Kamoshida's obvious crimes, and she's not going to sit back and be a victim while everyone else starts taking action.
She overhears the three talking about how they need "-a third member to safely explore the palace." and decides to come to them directly.
^"Look, I don't care if you're blackmailing him, or planning to break his knees with a bat. Whatever it is you're doing, count me in!"
Her story doesn't revolve around being a shut-in,-(Though she still has social anxiety)-but rather that these new people she's met are really the first to actually make her feel valued as a person, and that she is someone worthy of respect.
Since she's not a shut-in, she's a lot less savvy when it comes to hacking and data mining, but she's sort of like the middle man between the thieves and some more...questionable sources of intelligence and resources. Whenever there comes a time for needing to analyze data, Futaba adjusts her glasses and calmly states: "Hehehe...I think I know a guy for that..." Nobody wants to ask what exactly she means by that, and it's probably for the best they don't know.
She has at least 157 different accounts built for browsing the dark web without the risk of collecting viruses or privacy-invasion. All of which have multiple fake IDs, credit cards, cryptocurrency, and other things necessary for her shady connections.
Her mom isn't dead in this AU, she was able to safely go into hiding with the help of Sojiro, whom she is now engaged to. Futaba has some repressed mommy issues since she still feels neglected from her mom needing to work, as well as her new fiance sweeping her off her feet at every turn.
Cleopatra, who needs no introduction, was the final Pharaoh of ancient Egypt. She was sought after by ancient rulers far and wide for her beauty, yet only in the modern day did people actually appreciate her for her intelligence and leadership.
Cleopatra sort of fills the motherly roll Futaba's needed for a long time, it's very helpful since Cleo knows exactly what Futaba needs to hear when she's upset. She praises Futaba for her work with the phantom thieves, gives Futaba reassurance on her appearance and behavior, and helps calm Futaba down from her frequent anxiety attacks.
Futaba once started bawling her eyes out in her sleep when she talked with her persona in a dream, and Cleo said: "I am very proud of you, Futaba...I love you..."
Yuuki Mishima - The Sun
Codename: Trickster
Persona: Geronimo
The fifth and final member of the founding phantom thieves.
He-(sort of)-takes the place of Shiho in this AU, where he has a breakdown on the school rooftop and strongly considers jumping, luckily Sumire, Makoto, and Futaba are able to shove their way through the crowd so they can talk him down and help him.
The story is that Kamoshida, after the gang starts screwing around with the stuff in his palace, finally snaps and decides that merely beating poor innocent Yuuki is not enough for him anymore. So he calls Yuuki into his office one day and decides to "Try something different..."
After the whole mess on the rooftop happens, the gang decides that Yuuki deserves to get some revenge on Kamoshida for what he did. They bring him into the palace and, sure enough, after seeing just how Kamoshida treats not just him, but the whole school, he awakens out of pure anger and desire to be a hero for once.
He's much more jokey than canon, usually opting to make hilariously bad puns and occasional innuendos. He also has no idea about anything involving the real world.
^Yuuki: "I'm inside her heart-shaped-box." ^Futaba: "You know what that means right?" ^Yuuki: "No actually I just know it's a song-" ^Makoto: "JESUS FUCKING CHRIST YUUKI!"
He's just about as awkward as he is in canon, but rather than being treated like shit for it, his awkward jokes are usually just met with a slight pat on the shoulder and a comforting "......we'll work on it, sweetie" from Sumire or Makoto.
He still creates, opens, and monitors the phansite on his downtime. Futaba and Sophia usually help him with how often the requests get backed up.
Even though some of his jokes end up falling flat, he's still really good at coming up with zingers on the spot. The thieves have dubbed him as "The official phantom-comedian", to the point that he, Akira, Futaba, and Sophia all collectively come together to annoy the shit out of Goro
His persona is Geronimo of the Bedonkohe band of the Chirihacua Apache, an American-Indian shaman who fought against Spanish soldiers after his family was murdered. He was said to have converged with a spirit to become immune to bullets, and it took all of 5,000 U.S. soldiers to drag him back to the San Carlos reservation, which he escaped later again
Geronimo fucking loves Yuuki's stupid-ass jokes and will always be his #1 fan, but despite Yuuki's quips, Geronimo knows he's hiding a lot of pain from what he went through with Kamoshida, so he always encourages his other self to admit there's nothing wrong with being upset or afraid because of the circumstances.
Akira Amamiya - The Emperor
Codename: Ghoul
Persona: Brutus
The pupil of Madarame who writes poems, plays, and dables in art which Madarame, of course, plagiarizes from him.
The thieves hear about how Akira is the only pupil who has not left Madarame from another source, and they try to ask him about the plagiarism and accusations of abuse. Akira, of course, denies all of it, but the thieves can see that there's something in his eyes begging for an escape from his situation.
Things pretty much proceed as they do in canon with Madarame's palace, but rather than the whole "Nude painting incident", Sumire pretends to go on a date with Akira at his shack so Goro can sneak in and open the necessary door to help their progress. Madarame comes home, Akira has a panic attack, and they discover the room with the supposedly stolen painting and it's copies before dipping into the metaverse to escape the security.
The painting that Akira is obsessed with isn't the Sayouri, but rather, a self portrait of his father. Akira, of course, has no idea until Madarame's shadow reveals this at the end, but it explains Akira's fascination with it.
Even though he is a gifted painter, he is much more interested with acting and script-writing. He is 100% a gayass theater kid who joins Yuuki's bad jokes to give people headaches.
He is the king of random talents and parlor tricks; he can do a hand stand walk, write and type with his feet, he's very good with sleight of hand tricks, and can even use throwing knives to catch flies.
He's personality is pretty much that of Gomez Addams, he's a hopeless romantic who flirts with anyone and anything that moves, and is constantly down to do the weirdest shit for his loved ones.
His persona is Brutus, the trusted ally of Julius Caesar who later joined a conspiracy to end his life for the benefit of Rome. He realized that Caesar was a dictator and decided to side with his own lofty ideals and morals. He is best known for his role in the Shakespearean play: 'The Tragedy of Julius Caesar'.
Akira often consults Brutus whenever he faces a complicated situation that requires thinking of things from a different perspective, Brutus, being a master of rationalization, is always there to give Akira a push in the direction that will certainly benefit him in the long run, even if Akira doesn't like it.
Sophia Ishiki-Sakura - The Star
Codename: Rogue
Persona: Peter Pan
A 10 year old girl whose abusive mother was run clean-over by a truck 10 months before the events of the story-(not Ichinose). She spent the last several months being tossed around the abysmal foster care system until she ended up at the Ishiki-Sakura household with Futaba. When she moves in, Futaba's meta-nav pings in on a "semi-palace" that has begun forming.
The thieves begin brainstorming ideas on how to help Sophia, then Goro chimes in with: "Why don't we just help her confront her shadow?" and the rest of the team's like: "...what?". So Goro gives the gist that, theoretically, someone can change their own heart by directly confronting their shadow. The thieves decide they have no other choice to prevent Sophia from becoming fully distorted, and bring her into the semi-palace.
Things happen, Sophia awakens to her persona on the 2nd visit with the help of her shadow, but the semi-palace doesn't disappear. The thieves learn that the semi-palace is actually ruled by a cognition, (similar to canon Futaba), she confronts it and is able to change her own heart. After everything is said and done, she basically twists the thieves arms until they allow her to become a permanent member.
Sophia becomes much happier after her semi-palace is destroyed, up until then she was the poster child for gifted kids who were forced to grow up too fast. Her shadow and persona helped her tap into her inner child, now she gets a lot more enjoyment from being so smart, while still acting like a dumbass kid sometimes.
She goes to Shujin with the rest of the thieves, she was actually smart enough to skip a few grades and go straight to being a first-year.
She's basically the thieves collective little sister. Sumire and her bond over being neurodivergent and stim together, Makoto takes her out for rides on her motorcycle, Futaba is actually her sister and they bond over making immature jokes, Akira and her have actually started a club within the thieves for trauma dumping about abusive parents, and Yuuki and her bond over a shared experience with being sheltered and needing to learn more about real life.
As for her and Goro's relationship...
^Goro: "I've only had Sophia for less than a day, but if anything happened to her, I would kill every shadow in Mementos and then myself."
Her persona is Peter Pan, the forever child who resides in the fantastical world of Neverland, where he leads the group of lost boys and learned magic from sprites. His childishness is meant to be depicted as negative, but here is something to be said for seeing even life itself as another grand adventure.
Even after the thieves take her in as one of them, she still has a lot of trouble with allowing herself to act and play like a little kid, Pan is usually the one to help her indulge in those things she feels ashamed of. He acts like the reverse version of impulse control, encouraging Sophia to enjoy herself with dumb fun instead of trying to live up to her reputation as a gifted kid, Sophia of course, is grateful and tries to listen to his advice.
Haru Okumura - The High Priestess
Codename: Vigilante
Persona: Calamity Jane
She takes the place of Kobayakawa's lap dog, but not by being the student council president, she is simply encouraged by most people in her life to "-have good connections early on." Most of the pressure she experiences comes from her father, who is no stranger to cooking the books.
Unlike canon Makoto, she is much more reluctant to blindly follow the orders of the teachers, but she feels as though she doesn't have a choice in regards to what she does. Mostly in the fact that Kobayakawa has close ties to her father, and threatens to speak to him unless Haru spies on the new transfer student he's obsessed with trying to expel.
Haru befriends Sumire under false pretenses, but goes back on her spying when she learns that Kobayakawa has a personal connection to a local "mafia" and has been exploiting the student body for a long time now. So she goes to Sumire and the thieves to come clean, as well as ask them to change the principal's heart.
Eventually, the thieves need Haru's help with proceeding through the palace, in doing so, she awakens to her persona and begins working towards earning the thieves' trust once again.
Once she gains their trust, she officially joins the thieves as a valued friend. They all forgive her fairly quickly once they proceed further in Kobayakawa's palace
She's slightly more unhinged than she is in canon, constantly saying the most out-of-pocket shit you've ever heard.
^Haru: "Do you think stabbing someone in the dark could be used as a legal loophole for assault?"
She and Goro are absolute besties in this AU. They constantly shit talk random people behind their back, especially the people whose hearts the thieves have changed. She also does this with Sumire and the "Principal Humpty-Dumpty" joke.
She and Ann have a secret "shit-talking-tea-date" that nobody else is allowed to know about. They talk about the stunts pulled by the other thieves.
If Makoto is the fresh-outta-jail mom, Haru is 100% the sassy aunt who encourages her nieces and nephews schemes in an effort to mess with the mother. In most cases, Haru usually just sits back and watches the chaos while calmly sipping a cup of tea.
Calamity Jane was an old West heroine who got her name for her reckless nature on the battlefield, as well as being known for riding straight into an enemy ambush to save her ally. She was a heedless, foul-mouthed, and heavily opinionated woman who made her name famous with her sharpshooting skills.
Whereas many of the thieves directly consult their personas for help, Jane acts more like a spectator with a bucket of popcorn while Haru hilariously flails around without contributing anything to creating a solution. If Jane is really feeling like a nuisance, she will interject with the most batshit things at the worst times.
^Haru: *Taking a test and trying to remember the answer* ^Jane: "Pssst-I think the answer is 25..." ^Haru: ".......this is an English test, Jane..."
Yusuke Maruki - The Hermit
Codename: Prophet
Persona: Paimon
Maruki's son whom he adopted in secret after the suspicious death of Yusuke's mother.
Things happen in a similar manner as canon, medjed threatens everyone, Futaba tries and fails to find a way to stop them, Yusuke contacts them under the alias of "Avra" saying that he can help them track down the one responsible for the threats if they change the heart of Yusuke Maruki.
Sumire investigates, finds out about Yusuke's story, and her and the thieves agree to change Yusuke's heart for him.
His palace takes the form of haunted catacombs, with a cognitions of the men in black suits being the true rulers, while his shadow is an imprisoned spirit who's desperate for freedom.
Sophia proposes that since the circumstances are similar, they could just bring Yusuke into his own palace to confront this shadow like she did. Goro interjects, saying that Sophie's semi-palace was no where near as large or dangerous as a full-blown palace, meaning that things are more likely to escalate poorly.
Yusuke comes in on his own during the thieves' heist, he awakens, and the team has a brand new navigator on their side.
Even though he is similar to canon Futaba with hacking skills, he has much more of an occult aesthetic rather than being a super-nerd. He simply picked up coding and hacking as a hobby when he ran out of books to read.
He's still as eccentric as ever, constantly joining Akira in being a drama queen about everything. He 100% knows how to commit to the bit.
Somehow he is even more deadpaningly hilarious than canon. Contending with Haru for saying the most out-of-pocket things, causing people's heads to turn.
^Futaba: "Why do you always say the most outta-pocket shit?!"
^Yusuke: *Deadly serious voice* "It would appear that the pocket has barely been opened at this point..."
His persona Paimon is the ninth spirit listed in the Ars Goetia, as well as a revered king of hell. Said to be a master of "all matter of secret things", he will bestow his conjurer with otherworldly knowledge whenever summoned.
Jane is a spectator who enjoys Haru's lighthearted suffering, and Paimon is a spectator who constantly wants to bash his head against a wall for all the things Yusuke is clueless about. He constantly has to put up with an antisocial teenager who can't so much as read a subway map correctly, despite living in Tokyo his whole life. Paimon is also forced to suffer second-hand embarrassment when his other self unknowingly drops the ball when talking to people.
Ann Takamaki - The Empress
Codename: Knight
Persona: St. Jeanne d'Arc
A friend of Sumire who has suspected her of being a phantom thief ever since the incident with Kamoshida, and later, the Principal. She later came to Sumire requesting that she change her mother's heart.
Instead of Okumura being the one who exploits workers and is involved with the mental shutdowns, Ann's mother is the CEO of a small-scale conglomerate who plans on ascending into politics.
Ann has known Sumire for a good minute, so she trusts her when it is resealed that she and her friends are the phantom thieves, but Ann still wants to see a change of heart in-person so she knows whether or not it is as justified as they say. It also helps that Ann has been hearing the faint voice of her persona over the course of a few months, so Sumire believes she can help with the awakening process.
The exact details of how the thieves prove their methods to Ann will be revealed later on, but the bottom line is that the thieves encounter another semi-palace that they need to take care of as quickly as possible.
Unbeknownst to the thieves, Ann has been very close to having an awakening and forming a semi-palace for several months, and she is beginning to reach the end of her rope. This all culminates in her trying to wrestle her own shadow to death whilst her persona tries to stop her.
When all the madness ends, Ann awakens, she helps the thieves destroy the semi-palace of their target, and she agrees to go forward with the plan to change her mother's heart.
She and Sumire bond over their conjoined "trans girl swag". She's pretty good with helping Sumire out with any lingering dysphoria that she's not comfortable about sharing with the rest of the thieves.
She has a weekly shit-talking session with Haru which usually happens over tea and sweets. They basically just talk about the stupidest things that the other thieves have attempted that week.
She and Futaba often unite to sow chaos amongst the group, they plot, they scheme, and then they make some popcorn to watch the chaos.
Her persona is St. Jeanne d'Arc, the woman in charge of flying the French flag before battles during the 100 years' war. Despite the fact that she had no formal position in the army, she was always found on bravely rushing to the battlefield, she was even known to give the troops tactical advice during meetings.
Jeanne is Ann's biggest enabler whenever she wants to have some harmless fun, basically, her favorite thing to say in response to Ann's ideas is: "Do it." But she also helps Ann come to terms with the fact that she needs to take responsibility and take things seriously.
Ryuji Sakamato - The Justice
Codename: Crook/Black mask
Persona(s): Nezumi Kozo/Maximilien
Takes the place of the culprit behind the mental shutdowns and rampage incidents, as well as taking the role of being the traitor who works with the conspiracy Shido runs.
His story is similar to canon Akechi, his mother was a prostitute who was killed by Shido one night. Ryuji, instead of becoming a detective, decided to become an extremist dedicated to bringing Shido, and the entire Japanese government, to it's knees.
He willingly signed up for some unethical cognitive psience research experiments so he could get close to Shido, there were other people who underwent the training, but Ryuji was the only one that actually survived long enough to gain his powers.
He climbed his way up the ladder until finally getting an audience with Shido, and he offered to become his hitman for the same reasons as canon Akechi. By this point in his life, Ryuji had become so jaded by everything he's been through, that he's convinced himself that everyone he killed needed to die for the greater good.
Ryuji's main cover story is that he's a justified rebel who uses graffiti art and peaceful protests to speak out against corruption, not only does this help him publicly detest the phantom thieves, but it helps Shido's reputation when they publicly join together around the election time.
He's not quite as irredeemable as canon Akechi, but when it does come time for him and the thieves to reunite in the 3rd semester, it basically boils down to: "YOU ARE GOING TO BE A GOOD PERSON! AND YOU ARE GONNA LIKE IT!!!"
During his "redemption" phase he still has to get over the fact that he's very cynical in how he views the world, as well as people in general. His philosophy is that since everybody has a shadow self, that means everyone is automatically at least a little evil.
He and Sumire have more of a "frenemies" type of relationship rather than the homoerotic undertones of canon Akechi and Joker. They insult and antagonize each other constantly, but Sumire is the only one Ryuji will allow it with, if it were anyone else insulting him, he's break their spine.
His "false" persona, Nezumi Kozo, was the "rat kid" who plagued noblemen across all of Japan during the Edo period. Even though his status as a vigilante is widely debated by historians, many folk songs and Kabuki plays portray him as an outlawed hero of justice.
His "true" persona is Maximilien, the man who was credited with leading the French reign of terror, which ended up being the most violent time of the French revolution. He encouraged the peasants and common folk to go on an execution spree against all royals, nobles, and anyone suspected of corruption. Ironically, he himself, was executed in July of 1794.
Nezumi Kozo started out as nothing more than a farce Ryuji created to help him get closer to the phantom thieves, a way to conceal his true nature. As the thieves helped him mentally recover from...everything, Nezumi seemed to gain consciousness, becoming his own separate entity from Maximilien and showing that Ryuji is on the right path and is dedicated to being better.
Maximilien is sort of like Ryuji's reluctant assistant who knows that what's happening is wrong, but is trying his best to support his friend in the hopes he will make the right choice in the end. As Ryuji becomes more distorted with the need for revenge, Maximilien talks to him less and less, and eventually Ryuji doesn't hear or see him unless he summons him in the metaverse.
Maximilien and Nezumi have a lot of friction when they need to share the space within Ryuji's heart, at first it's like the classic "angel and devil" situation. Luckily though, the two manage to work things out and work together to do their best for helping Ryuji becomes his best self.
That's all I'm going to be doing for now, I do plan on making bios for Morgana as the hope and Zenkichi as the charity, plus all of the confidants in royal, but I need to save that for another time.
This took way too long for me to make, but I'm very proud of it.
I do plan on making this full-blown story on ao3, and I'm working on the prologue right now. Hopefully I'll be able to start publishing chapters soon.
Until then,
Farewell bozos

Kickstarter Update #2
Cross-posted from Kickstarter:
A few things I'm looking forward to in October...
Hullo, hullo! Welcome to Update #2.
First and foremost, thank you to everyone who's supported my campaign so far. :) This first week I was hit by an influx of spam marketers and questionable conversations that, while a shitty achievement badge in general, I was unprepared for emotionally; but each and every one of you has been a reminder that there are real people out there who want to support real art.
Speaking of supporting real art... there are some exciting things coming up in October that I'm looking forward to supporting in my life, and perhaps it'll be stuff you'd want to support, too.
IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER
Tumblr media
October 15th—Confluence ft. Publishing Goblin | @publishinggoblin
Tumblr media
Confluence is on my radar because of my low-key obsession with Publishing Goblin—'cause come on, how great of a name is that? I've supported previous Publishing Goblin projects and will likely support more of their projects in the future. Publishing Goblin brought me The Alleyman Tarot, will eventually bring me The Hot Housewife Tarot, and has been steadily working through several poetry projects. As a bit of a goblin myself, I've got a starry eyed vested interest in seeing another cool creative make art and succeed in this world; for it's art that makes the rest of it worth living.
Confluence has beautiful artwork, a trusted artist working with a diverse team, and is a perfect excuse to throw dice into trays and laugh with friends. Full disclosure: this is likely to be a nice little gift for my TTRPG loving step-son, and we'll see about bullying him into running a little campaign for me and his dad.
October 22nd—A Fool's Errand by J Strautman | @strautmaskreplica & B Marsollier | @b-marsollier
Tumblr media
In other TTRPG news, your friends and mine over at Planet Arcana have designed their own tarot-based system.  A Fool's Errand puts your party into the world of Planet Arcana, with it's lavish landscapes, brilliant beasts, and arcane insight. You don't need to be familiar with the podcast to enjoy the game; but if you're looking for an award-winning group of Canadians playing through a unique Tarot-Inspired universe, it's definitely worth a listen.
Playtesting our own little calamity has been a highlight of my still-very-novice RPG experiences. I get to live out my piscean fantasties as an angry waterbreathing aquean composite, and weave a tale of prophet and mystery with some storytelling friends. We're only a few sessions into our campaign, but it promises to be a fun experience.
Sometime in October, Probably—Refugium by Simon Roy | @simon-roy
Tumblr media
And I would be remiss not to include my favourite comics on my list. Refugium is the third book in Simon Roy's Griz Grobus series, following the eponymous first book Griz Grobus and the second, Miramar. Simon's a fantastically detailed comic artist and works with a wonderful colourist, Sergey Nazarov, to bring this galaxy-spanning universe to life. It's already funded, but you can buy the backlog or support Simon on Patreon while you wait for whatever he makes next. I'm trying to be patient while I wait for my copy of Refugium to arrive—hopefully sometime this month.
Can you think of anything else exciting happening this month? Let me know. :) I always like finding new artists to swoon over.
Stay Rested, Audrey

BNHA x Persona Crossover Idea Dump
So this is the bone my brain has been gnawing on all day. Ramblings about a potential fusion under the cut!
General Worldbuilding
I really don’t have a cohesive plot in mind, as I’ve just been mashing P4, P5, and BNHA together in my head, but I think this would need a unique set-up rather than just following one of the games (P3 might have been a useful influence, too, but I haven’t played or watched a playthrough of that one; I also know next to nothing about P1 and P2)
no idea how specifically the Metaverse works in this setting, but All for One is using it for his evil ends and doing something nasty with fusions and people and Shadows
I tried picking an arcana for most of the characters based on the descriptions from the Megami Tensei wiki, and also tried coming up with general themes for what some of their confidants and persona abilities might look like, but a lot of it is fairly bare-bones
party’s main personas are their hero forms (so Deku, Uravity, etc.) because I’m too lazy to go find important figures from literature/mythology, and also because it’s BNHA, so, y’know, heroes; maybe their personas would be in-universe comic book characters or something
costume change in the Metaverse might be subtle (if it exists at all), like the addition of one accessory? Maybe gauntlets if there’s some kind of “reaching out” theme?
I don’t know what their weapons are, but I don’t think these kids have guns
currently I’m basing combat elements off of the ones in P5, and the general plot set-up (vague as it is) is centered around the usual “group of 8-ish teens form a team to fight Shadows and eventually save the world”; as a result, most of the adults are unaware of the Metaverse
a different set-up could have the adults more involved from the get-go as trained Shadow-fighters (and possibly instructors for those with the right potential), but most of the following ideas won’t be based on that
Party Members
Midoriya Izuku (Fool, World)
protagonist (probably the most talkative Persona protag there would be); excellent at analyzing up personas’ strengths and weaknesses
since moving to the game’s setting seems to be how most Persona games start, maybe the Midoriyas just finished moving (perhaps to go to UA, or possibly to escape/get distance from Aldera if we want some more dramatic backstory)
quirks aren’t a thing so he wasn’t bullied specifically for being quirkless, but he was definitely still bullied a lot
maybe dreams of becoming a comic creator and making stories with heroes like All Might
his story would probably involve gaining self-confidence and making good, wholesome connections with people (saving others like one of the heroes he looks up to, but also letting himself be saved, too, though in what capacity exactly I don’t know)
persona abilities: phys, wind (air smashes) and possibly almighty later?
Uraraka Ochako (Star)
first and best friend, saves Izuku from tripping and they hit it off
she either takes up aikido sometime during the story or already takes it (could be a different martial art, too, or more general self-defense)
confidant: probably has to do with her habit of shoving down her troubles to help others, and learning to let go of that mask
persona abilities: maybe nuke (I sorta just think it’d be fun and the closest to being space-related) or bless, phys (maybe moreso late-game?), team buffs; wind if Izuku doesn’t already have it covered
Iida Tenya (Justice)
class representative alongside Yaomomo, probably does his best to help Izuku settle in (though this would make more sense if the Midoriyas moved in the middle of the school year or for second year)
the Stain arc is probably a thing, possibly modified but honestly maybe not by a whole lot
confidant: likely dealing more with the aftermath of the Stain arc
persona abilities: maybe elec (mostly because it’s not covered by anyone else), single-target healing, other than that I dunno
Asui Tsuyu (Temperance)
she and Uraraka may already be friends
might be among of the first “victims” for whatever’s going on?
confidant: balancing her responsibilities taking care of her siblings and doing school and Metaverse things?
persona abilities: uhhh good question, probably healing and utility plus one of the elements
Todoroki Shouto (Fortune? Hanged Man?)
father is a rich, well-known politician or businessman, though I don’t know how exactly the All Might rivalry will tie in; perhaps an actor instead?
dunno how Midoriya gets through to Shouto this time or what specifically about but he does
I also don’t know what his persona’s name would be, since his hero name is just his name
confidant: presumably dealing with family issues, maybe with Shouto’s siblings?
persona abilities: fire and ice, maybe some strong healing late-game?
Bakugou Katsuki (Chariot)
not really sure what I’d want to do with him plot-wise but I do think he’s a jock
his and Izuku’s relationship would probably still parallel their canon one, though the lack of quirks and heroes would mean some involved worldbuilding factors would need substitutes
confidant: superiority complex issues
persona abilities: nuke and fire, obviously, and this guy is all about offense
Shinsou (Tower?)
possibly also a new kid, has a reputation as a delinquent (maybe because of one or both of his parents being involved in shady stuff?)
wants to be a detective, looks up to Aizawa; his own personal sleuthing ends up getting him in trouble and/or involved with what Midoriya and the others are up to
honestly this whole thing started because I was imagining Shinsou being in the P5 protag’s situation of moving into the attic of a coffee shop run by Aizawa, but I couldn’t really imagine Shinsou filling Joker’s role or Aizawa just running a shop, so—well, now we’re here (edit: now that I think about it more Shinsou might actually be a pretty good fit for a Persona protag specifically because he’s kind of a loner and not the most extroverted person, as the protags tend to be relatively quiet, it’d just be a fair departure from BNHA narrative roles)
regardless, Aizawa will end up taking him under his wing in some capacity, whether adoption or just mentorship; in fact, maybe Shinsou started going to UA because he got taken in by Aizawa after an incident with his family, and some of the rumors around Shinsou are that he got put with the detective because he’s a troublemaker when it was really just what worked out best
confidant: probably dealing with whatever his shady family members are involved in, if it isn’t already resolved in the main plot
persona abilities: psy, curse, utility (especially debuffs and maybe some team barriers)
…aaand I dunno who the eighth party member would be. I’d want it to be one of the girls because we need more of them, but unfortunately BNHA is a quite a boys’ club. This is also the spot that would be filled by a (likely animal) mascot, but Nedzu is my only idea and I can’t imagine him as a party member. Maybe this spot goes to Yaomomo.
Misc. notes on the rest of Class 1-A (these are pretty sparse)
Yaoyorozu gives me Empress arcana vibes
Kirishima would probably make a good Strength arcana, too, or possibly Emperor
Kaminari makes me think very much of Yosuke and thus the Magician arcana, though his element would obviously be elec
Ashido could also fit Lovers maybe, but other than that I wouldn’t know what to do for her
Jirou could give the party music? No idea what the actual effect of this would be, though if this was a game I bet it’d be a function where you could listen to all the soundtracks as you unlocked them
apologies to Tokoyami, Shouji, Kouda, Sero, Hagakure, Ojiro, and anyone else I’m forgetting but I’ve got nothin’ else right now; there’s also not enough arcanas to give one to everyone anyways
Supporting Cast
Midoriya Inko (Priestess?)
gotta be honest I don’t know for sure what to do with her but I want her to be here
maybe she gives Izuku food (bentos, perhaps), and her katsudon would be one of the best HP and/or SP items in the setting
perhaps she’d have a confidant about making her own connections with people, though she’s probably still friends with the adult Bakugous
there’s likely also the element of her coming to terms with her son doing dangerous hero things, as in canon
Yagi Toshinori (Strength)
popular comic creator who was also once a popular actor or something until a (supposed) tragic accident?
definitely a (former?) persona-user, but can’t do much in the Metaverse now either due to health difficulties or some kind of trouble with the connection
maybe Izuku first stumbles into the Metaverse during an incident involving Yagi, and Izuku does some kind of selflessly heroic act (not sure if he unlocks his persona then or not, also not sure if Bakugou’s involved), and Yagi decides to mentor him
passing down a persona seems a little weird considering personas are so closely related to the self, but maybe there’s some kind of legacy in fighting Shadows that he’s passing along?
confidant: maybe helping him adjust to no longer being the main hero, or helping him forge or rekindle his own relationships
persona abilities: can’t fight much anymore, but used to be an absolute powerhouse with phys and almighty (ha)
Aizawa (Hierophant)
I don’t think he’d be a teacher in this setting, so how about a detective, a la Dojima; doesn’t know about the Metaverse, but is trying to figure out incidents that are (unbeknownst to him) involving it
not sure if he’s a police detective or a private one; could be he’s private/consulting while Tsukauchi is a police detective or police chief
has a vested personal interest in any incidents involving kids, especially missing ones, due to past trauma (Oboro)
neighbor of the Midoriyas?
still becomes Eri’s guardian, somehow, and maybe whatever incident surrounds that is how he starts learning about the Metaverse
has an emergency foster license so he can help out kids who get caught up in bad situations, though the arrangement is usually temporary (note that I have no actual knowledge of how that kind of licensure works)
confidant: probably finding closure re: the loss of Oboro (although maybe Kurogiri can get a happier ending in this?)
persona abilities: I doubt he’d be a party member, and unless he was already in the know about or involved with the Metaverse I think he’d hate the place, but as far as fighting goes he’d be good at nullifying attacks and getting critical hits
it’d be really funny if he naturally nullified all elemental attacks by sheer virtue of “all of this is illogical and not real” but he can’t be that powerful
Eri (Death)
because I can’t imagine her as anything but the specialist magical little girl, she has some kind of connection to the Metaverse, like perhaps the ability to send people there at will (though she may not understand it herself); this, as in canon, is exploited by the yakuza and maybe caused some tragedy in her past
I don’t think she’s the way the party usually gets into the Metaverse, but she could happen to be involved in the first incident or one of the later ones
confidant: getting her used to life after rescue and helping her to not be afraid of her abilities or guilty about the past
Nedzu (Magician/Councillor?)
token animal mascot character???
definitely a Metaverse creature of some kind, but I’m tempted to have him still somehow be the principal of UA (UA would have to be a very strange school, though, which could be part of the plot)
maybe he’s a sort of Velvet Room attendant, though not limited to staying in the Velvet Room; I’d feel weird having him replace Igor completely, but he’s gotta have some behind-the-scenes knowledge and reasons to meddle/instruct, and I think he and Igor could have an interesting dynamic
Hatsume Mei (???)
weapons and armor creator
either she loves to makes model items (maybe as theater/film props?) or she’s just straight-up engineering fully functional weapons and armors to other children her age
Yamada Hizashi (Sun)
radio show host, of course!
if this was a game, some important events would be mentioned on his show, much like some things were talked about on televisions in P4 and P5
could still be an English teacher who thrives on MC’ing the pep rallies, but it’d feel a bit weird to have him be a teacher and not Aizawa, so he might be a full-time show host and entertainer
Kayama Nemuri (Lovers? Moon? Devil?)
I’m really not sure what to do with her, but maybe she’s a fairly famous model/actor/some other kind of entertainer who also does investigative work? Like a spy/informant for certain circles?? Modeling/acting/whatever would probably be enough on its own, though
another possibility is that she’s a perfume-seller, and these perfumes end up doubling as buff/debuff items in the Metaverse
Thirteen (???)
the science teacher maybe??
Snipe (???)
if this setting used fake guns like P5, Snipe would totally be the supplier, but I just can’t imagine Izuku with a gun
Villains
League of Villains
addressing them collectively because I don’t really wanna bother fleshing out the individual things
these would be the guys whose Shadows are the bosses
maybe a theme of this story would be reaching out to others, and so defeating the Shadows would open up opportunities to help them? Kind of like changing hearts in P5 but with more actual redemption, even if they still need to do time for whatever they’ve done
might not be just their Shadows that need to be fought, though; something is strange…
okay so @starlightvoidtwo mentioned the idea of them being Metaverse assassins like the Strega group from P3 (or Akechi from P5) and that seems like a perfect role for them
All for One
made his own Velvet Room and is fusing people with Shadows (Kurogiri), or somehow manipulating Metaverse powers (rest of the LoV), possibly to the point of (or at least aiming for) some real-world crossover?
as with canon, was thought to be defeated by All Might
I don’t know what his true nature is, if he started off human or was formed by the Metaverse
Okay, I think that’s pretty much everything I’ve got at the moment. Might edit later if I think of new stuff (or remember things I’d forgotten), but I really need to go to bed. I don’t think I’m going to do anything in particular with this crossover, but if anyone has related ideas I would love to hear them!

OKAY SO, since you've now read my entire MTG/Skyrim crossover fanfiction thus far, I am here for writing advice from your decks or from whatever spirit guides want to help.
As you know, I am stuck on the Bthardamz part, with Peryite's quest. How should I approach writing it? It gets very exhausting to go "and then they turned another corner in the Dwemer ruins" over and over again, and I don't want Spara's approach to be "murder everything and move on to the next quest". I don't want this chapter to be three times the length of every other chapter I've written so far, but I also don't want it to be as short as chapters 6 and 7 were. I need advice for finding a good balance between "detailed retelling of the quest" with "isn't as boring as the 37th in-game trudge through Dwemer ruins".
~Jasper, they/them
Well met, internet traveler! Hi Jasper!
Today's spirit guide is Patchouli Knowledge (who is more observing than anything else today), and the decks are Oscar, the Under the Oak Tarot by Ofride & StregaDelleMele, and Iris, the Prism Oracle by Nicole Pivirotto.
Tumblr media
Let's tackle them individually first, then together.
Upright III of Pentacles | This card represents teamwork, collaboration, shared goals, and pooling energy. In the art of the card, we see The Girl alongside a dormouse (I'm pretty sure it's a dormouse), and the snake that signifies the King and "companion" of this Arcana, all looking down into a pool upon the crystals (which artistically replace the pentacles).
Rejection | Rejection is one of the orange cards, and means quite plainly rejection. It can also mean things going wrong and not the way you expected them to, or things generally just failing. The art of the card is a simple three-piled x, which can indicate compounded failure.
Together, I think this is saying to focus on the characters going through the dungeon chatting with each other and working together. Instead of just silence, or just speeding past it or even lingering on their movement, have them chat and discuss and have a good time, despite the whole... y'know. going through the dungeon. Highlight how they work together to succeed as well.
It can also be good to bring some level of conflict into them, so it's not just a blanket conversation. Have some conflicts pop up between ideals and goals, or even just them not liking the way another person speaks on something. It's normal for those in a party to agree, as much as it's normal for them to disagree.
I hope this is helpful writing advice! It took me a bit of ruminating to figure out what Oscar and Iris together were saying to me here, but I think I got their advice in my head now.

How do you keep it all running? You've inspired me to make my own deck based on a show I love, but how do you find these moments? Do you go in and analyze scenes from the show? Do they come to you in random thought? I just don't feel as organized or like it's coming together, so what's your process cause I get the feeling it would help me greatly.
OHHHHHH IVE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO ASK ABOUT MY PROCESS ASSIGNING CARDS!!
First of all, that's so cool I've inspired you to make your own fandom deck! It's a really fun way to develop your artistic abilities and to analyze a piece of media, and I was definitely inspired by fandom decks that I've seen made by other people. Now for my ramble:
My process for assigning designs to all the cards took quite some time, and a great deal of thought. The first real "step" was to watch the show through like five times beforehand, which was easy because I had already done that by the time I decided to start this deck! It's important to have a good understanding of the characters, overall plot, and themes of the show to make sure your choices fit. It's also really helpful to take in analysis of these things from the fandom and not just yourself, because a lot of the time people will have identified themes or analyzed characters to a deeper extent or in ways you never would have thought to!
The next part of the process was learning the meanings of all the cards in a tarot deck. I was actually almost completely unfamiliar with tarot before starting this project, so this was a real from-the-ground-up scenario. The two websites I mainly refer to are Labyrinthos and Biddy Tarot, which both are based on the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot tradition--I didn't even know there were other types of decks before! Going through both of those websites, my first round of card assignments was based purely on my memory of the show, seeing what came to mind, if anything. There were a LOT of blank spots in my list at this point, especially in the minor arcana sections, and also a lot of initial choices that I would later change my mind about. Lots of ideas with question marks after them, and lots of cards that I listed multiple options for.
From there, it was a largely iterative process. I went back and forth watching the show and looking at the card definitions, building up my list over time, revising choices and adding ones where before I couldn't think of anything. Another resource that was really helpful at this stage was watching deck reviews/walkthroughs/deep dives on youtube. I'd especially like to shoutout Lisa Papez for her really thorough deep dives and for her Tarot for Beginners series--they gave me a much better understanding of the tarot, and a better sense of how and why to properly assign a character or scene to certain cards.
After a while, I had my list more or less complete, with at least one idea for each card. At this point I had already begun illustrating the major arcana, as those were the easiest to assign. Luckily for me, The Owl House really lends itself well to the tarot--The Fool, for example, was a no-brainer (as you might be able to tell from other TOH decks that exist out there). Now that I had a general game plan, I wanted to fine-tune my choices by taking into mind character balance and episode balance.
For character balance, I wanted to make sure that the amount of times a given character would be either the main focus or part of the focus of a given card would correlate to the size of their role in the show. Luz, of course, is the main character and features in every episode, so she is in nearly half the deck. Eda, King, Hunter, and the Hexsquad are also up there, with the rest of the cast trailing off from there. If I thought a certain character was either over- or under-represented, I would switch up certain cards or choose one option over another if I was considering multiple designs for a card. I was especially mindful that all the major characters would feature at least once in the major arcana, which led me to assigning the Chariot to Amity and Willow as a duo, and the Hanged Man to King. (The Chariot, if I may note, was one of the more difficult ones to assign in the majors. Not sure why, just not too many obvious choices came to me!)
Episode balance was a little trickier to nail down, as some episodes just have more significant moments than others do. Premiers and finales ended up with more cards than usual, as did the three season 3 specials. I tried to find at least one significant scene or character from each episode, but in the end there are four episodes that don't feature at all in this deck: Once Upon a Swap, Something Ventured Someone Framed, Really Small Problems, and Follies at the Coven Day Parade. Those are the decisions that come with the territory, though--I would rather have my card designs fit the definitions than potentially sacrificing a better choice for the sake of a less significant episode! In the end, I'm happy with the choices I've made, and I can't wait to get to all of them!
TLDR This is my general advice for designing your own fandom deck:
Familiarize yourself with the text. Analyze characters, plot points, and themes. Take inspiration from fandom analysis.
Familiarize yourself with the tarot. Consult multiple sources, and feel free to stretch the card definitions a bit if it makes sense to you (lookin' at you, two and three of wands).
Do a first pass-through from memory of the show, assigning designs as you go through the card definitions. Include multiple possibilities for those you're unsure about, or leave them blank for now.
Do a close-reading style watchthrough of the show, going through your unsure/blank cards after each episode to see if anything fits. If something better comes up for a card you were pretty sure about, add it as a possibility, or see if it could fit another card if you spin it a different way. Repeat this process until you've got a pretty full list.
Continue revising your list, keeping in mind character and episode balance. Are you under-representing your major characters? Over-representing more minor characters? Are you hitting most of the important scenes from the show/book/etc? Keeping these in mind will result in a well-rounded deck!
My final bit of advice: have fun with it! You can do whatever you want forever! There's a side character you're really fond of who appears more often than they should? Who cares! That one cool scene doesn't really fit any of the card definitions? Leave it out or make shit up! Maybe the design you choose really only fits the card's reversed definition and not the upright--that's perfectly fine! Assign that female character to one of the "male" court cards or vice versa! The tarot is not rigid; definitions are malleable and people's general understanding of the decks have shifted greatly over time. Every deck will have slightly different takes on what each of the cards mean, and yours will too. So go with what feels right!

It won't be the same like last time
(CN spoilers for the 2.0 story)
Discussion on a developing pattern in 2.0,2.1,2.2 and what this is potentially leading to.
Again spoilers for 1.9 and CN servers (feel free to discuss in comments about this since there isnt a dedicated space for CN spoilers discussion, I mean for good reason but yeah throwing ideas at a wall again.
So far the first three patches of the 2.0 storyline seem to all hammer home this one thing: it won't be like last time, things are different.
Ofc! You say, lemme explain.
2.0 introduces a new side of Manus, the Order of Enlightenment; in parallel to Manus they attempt to remain unknown and unseen by manipulating everyone believing Arcana is dead. In the long term this will only benefit the Manus as their operations can continue more covertly.
2.1 shows growth in Vertin, Tuesday's illusion almost servers as a checkpoint to reflect on Vertin's past regrets in the Breakaway Incident: in large part she has overcome those struggles, with the Umbrella now people like Schneider can be saved from the Storm. Taunting her with these regrets will not stop her like the last time.Vertin suffered with her inability to save everyone now has the means to do so. It won't be like last time.
2.2 shows us the literal equivalent of the Green Oranges scene with Nala and Vertin (Anjo Nala and Schneider parallels go brr). Vertin being thrown into a situation where she must use a gun again succeeds and gains more (Anjo Nala's freedom and the fact that Vertin didn't nearly kill someone again). Vertin was always a sharp shooter, but this time both her and Nala can walk away alive. It won't be like last time.
Then what is different?
A fraction of Zeno under Igor have changed over to the Manus, Sophia seemingly has a new goal of immortality she pursues (I think the sudden importance of Urd is due to her knowing Marta so maybe this is a hint? Or Igor all this time has been looking for her?). Arcana's death has become a martyrdom that is probably worse than her being alive in a sense as more people flock to her side. And we still do not know what FMN is doing, but so far all the heat is being put on Sophia so he virtually can do whatever he wants now (I think either him or Ms Grace might be involved next patch with Matilda).
More importantly we have been given more clues to who Urd is, and the single fact driving me up the wall since I heard it that people psychically do not die in the Storm. (For Vertin this is a win win situation in a sense, ignoring the fact that Urd was kidnapped the act alone proves she has a greater role than previously thought so now more reason to hunt her down and now save her)
This is BP. How bad are things going to get now? The game is completely different and now there are more stakes involved.
Overall I think BP did a good job in setting up the 2.0 storyline, even if I think characterisation in some places may have suffered a bit (looking at Lopera and Mercuria, until these patches come out in Global so far, especially Mercuria I am meh on them until further info). I guess I would call these growing pains? Early chapters did struggle with pacing (I mean Book 1 and 2 was juggling Sotheby, Druvis and Schnieder and sometimes pacing did feel off but overall they were very good ).
Death flags? So far no but Moldir is likely I think?
Uh going to Antarctica makes sense actually, references to the Transatlantic Arctic Expedition in the Prologue and the general theme of travel writing (we could predict the book this again possibly). But BP if we are going to the fucking Polar caps you cannot tell me no one is getting an outfit change (I mean maybe not right on the polar caps but still).
Garment predictions? Horrorpedia, Kakania (which I am not ready for), Windsong (again not ready), maybe Getian? Since 2.1 and 2.2 already gave skins to most of the characters in these patches (excluding limited ofc). Maybe Necrologist?

What We Know About Closer
(last updated 11/30/24!)
Motoha Arai, codename Closer, is a second-year at Kokatsu Academy in class 2C, sitting right in front of Wonder. She and her best friend, Tomoko Noge in class 2D, both have an interest in playing baseball, and were in a little league together when they were younger, though Motoha quit after an incident. Her Arcana is listed in the files as Strength.
A separate, summer event version of Motoha was added in Version 2.1.1, and has a separate post documenting her combat information. Note that Summer Motoha cannot be on the same active team as Closer.
The codename "Closer" comes from a closing pitcher in baseball, who “specializes in getting the final outs in a close game when his team is leading”, according to Wikipedia.
Her Japanese voice actress is Kaede Hondo.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Motoha is a Confidant of Wonder's, available to start after Kiuchi's change of heart. Her Confidant focuses on her training with Wonder, trying to rebuild her athletic skill. Tamayo Yoshida appears during it, and challenges her as her rival, because she wants Motoha to join her baseball team. More information about Motoha’s Confidant can be found here.
She's present when Wonder disappears from the train car, and later sees him reappear at Shibuya station, leading to a suspicion that prompts her to ask him about it and the strange app that appeared on her phone. However, her real involvement begins when Takeyuki Kiuchi, the first Palace ruler, recognizes her from his past and attempts to hurt her, but Tomoko takes the hit instead, and has to be hospitalized.
Motoha realizes there's some connection between Wonder and Kiuchi, and presses him about it, eventually getting the explanation from Wonder and Ruferu that they're targeting Kiuchi in the Metaverse to make him have a change of heart. While at first she's conflicted, when the police don't help with Kiuchi, she tries entering the Metaverse herself, leading to her awakening her Persona (4:29:17 - 4:45:45).
She wavers once more when Ruferu warns them of the potential risks of a change of heart, but seeing Tomoko dejected and hopeless in the hospital solidifies her resolve. After Kiuchi's change of heart, she decides she wants to continue being a phantom thief in order to keep helping people, and zealously pursues their next target.
Motoha's role seems to parallel a mix of Ryuji and Ann's roles in the original P5. In the P5 Collab, Ryuji is impressed that she's into sports, while she and Ann bond over having friends that they're trying to avenge, and repeatedly seek each other out in later chapters.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Motoha is very energetic and friendly, and excels in sports, which has apparently given her a good reputation at school. While she stopped playing baseball when she was younger after hearing Kiuchi (her role model at the time) was allegedly injured while playing with her, she was previously called a baseball prodigy, and it's evident she still enjoys the sport.
As she wears her heart on her sleeve, it tends to be pretty obvious how she feels about something, and she's not the best under pressure, panicking if she doesn't know what to do. Paired with the fact that she tends to just go for things, this can often lead to her jumping into a situation without a plan for how to get out of it.
She's not incapable of putting things together herself, but it isn't her strong suit. At the same time, however, she seems to pick new things up quickly, and adjusts to life as a phantom thief and the workings of the Metaverse without much difficulty.
Tomoko seems to be her primary friend prior to meeting the protagonist, but in general, she cares deeply about the wellbeing of others, and what finally sets her mind on being a phantom thief is seeing that people besides her and Tomoko were also helped by Kiuchi's change of heart. When she finds out that their classmate Shun is suffering because of the second Palace ruler, Hiromu Miyazawa, she immediately wants to help him.
This consideration for others can also be a weakness, however, as she feels immensely guilty when she thinks she's wronged someone. As mentioned above, she quit baseball as an elementary schooler because she thought it was her fault that Kiuchi got hurt, and blamed herself for years, avoiding the sport. When she found out the injury was a coverup, she was furious, and declared she'd never forgive him, additionally demonstrating her strong sense of justice. She's also distressed that she's unable to help cognitions being tortured, in the P5 Collab.
Tumblr media
Closer's Persona Awilda (based on a princess who became a pirate of legend) is categorized as an Electric type, and resists Electric while being weak to Ice.
Awilda is a Control Persona, meaning she’s good at dealing with groups of enemies, and her trait gives a chance for her attack skills to inflict shock, while causing shocked enemies to take more damage. She has three electric attack skills: the first sends four thunderbolts that hit randomly (but are more likely to hit different enemies) and afflict one target with shock, the second hits one enemy and increases all electric damage dealt by team for two rounds, and the third hits all enemies, hitting a second time if any enemies are shocked. Her passive skills have a chance to extend the duration of the shocked status, and increase the electric damage received by one target after she uses a skill.
In combat, her melee weapon is a meteor hammer (though she can also use Summer Motoha's water yo-yos), while her ranged weapon is a crossbow. Her Highlight is shown from 0:25 - 0:35 in this video, and it hits all enemies with an electric attack, shocking one and increasing the electric damage it receives.
Her recommended card sets are 1) 4 of Wands (Completion) + Queen of Cups (Trust), 2) 4 of Coins (Power) + Page of Coins (Growth).
The game recommends teaming her up with 1) Cattle and Mont, 2) Moko, 3) Bui and Riddle.

Thank you so much 💓 💓💓
(reminder: this is for entertainment purposes only) Hi SG,
Thank you so much for participating in
my "COCOON" ask game.
I've watched Girl Interrupted before it was really intense! Is this Jinx from Arcana? I haven't heard this song before, so I'll definitely give this a listen after this~
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The cards I pulled for you are:
8 of Cups, Magician, Devil
Tumblr media
What you are encouraged to let go of in 2025 is this limiting belief that you left behind in life. It's not just in career, but in general. There's this rather harsh inner critic that screams in your head, to achieve this and that goal by a specific unrealistic deadline; which is unfair to you because why are you forcing yourself to produce results in unfair conditions.
You might feel compelled to achieve and be this big shot by a certain age, or have a home in this specific city at this timeline. Granted, it's okay to have goals in life however what isn't okay is forcibly slaving your life away as if these achievements are just expected of you.
I'm here to remind you that you get to decide which goals you want to achieve, and when it comes to timelines, you need to be aware that the only thing you can control is yourself, your actions, and your reactions; the rest of the world or when you will achieve said goals isn't exactly in your control.
By that, I mean that you can do anything and everything to achieve your goals in life, but the exact timeline and how it unfolds is something beyond your jurisdiction.
I also feel this is related to your manifestations, particularly, how your manifestations unfold in your reality. And here's the thing with this little tidbit, you can't control how your manifestations show up nor when it will come to reality. It will come when it is meant materialize, in the form it is meant to actualize.
By all means, keep putting in the work to actualize your dreams; just don't beat yourself up if it doesn't come in the package and timeline you'd wish it would.
The next card asks you to let go of your death grip on your manifestations. I feel called to share about the Law of Assumption and Law of Detachment. Particularly, the whole concept of these laws working best if you don't manifest in a place of lack.
So imagine your manifestations are your online purchases. You've paid your dues, you know it's on the way, and you know that it's yours, even if it hasn't arrive yet, you just know that it's coming in any day now.
Do you pace by the door everyday till your package arrives? Do you constantly check your shipping tracker every hour to check where it's currently at? Do you pause doing everything and just frantically worry and overthink about your delivery? No, right~
You know it's coming anyways, so you just go about your life, knowing in the back of your head, that it's coming and it's already yours.
This is how you should view manifestations. Continue living your life because you know it's yours and it's on its way any day now. You don't have to obsess over it when you know it's yours. You just know.
Finally, the last card asks you to let go of this almost obsessive lack mindset that you know has paralyzed you since forever. You need to remember: your brain can't tell the difference between sarcasm and truth, so it is hardwired to look for evidence to back up everything you believe, whether it's good or bad for you.
So if you do manifestations but your word choice and inner monologues vary from, "I don't have enough", "I need this because I don't have much", "I'm not good enough.", "I'll never be stable", "I'm so poor", "I'm so unlucky", etc., then by consequence, your brain will find evidence to support those intrusive claims. Do you see where I'm going with this?
I understand the stereotypical catch-all suggestion is to fake it till you make it, but then you would struggle to believe that as it isn't your current reality, right? So a bit of baby steps manifestation tip I can give you is to turn your affirmations into ask-firmations, lemme give you an example.
Instead of saying, "I'm so amazing and abundant", say, "Why am I so amazing and abundant?" or if you want to affirm, "I get what I want", ask "How do I get what I want?".
It's advisable to say it to the mirror to make it more ingrained in your brain, so that, not only does this make your brain hear your own voice, it also sees who is asking for confirmations about why you're so amazing and abundant? It's like a double reinforcement strategy where you help train your brain into being more in the energy of receiving, to be able to attune to the frequency of your manifestations.

Channeled song for you is:
6th random shuffle from my dice throw
Last Intuitive Message to end this reading:
I absolutely love this song for you. It makes so much sense that this song specifically showed up in your reading. Particularly the lines "Just keep breathin' and breathin' and breathin' and breathin' And oh, I gotta keep, keep on breathin'" because you know you will always find a way to outlive all your problems and burdens so why let them cripple you and hold you back?
I would like to remind you that you have lived past all the days you thought you'd throw your life away. You've outlived and outgrown all your biggest problems and setbacks you claimed that will end you. YOU DID THAT!! YOU! You should give yourself the flowers you so rightfully deserve. You deserve to give yourself credit for braving through all the storms in your life when you're made to believe that you wouldn't survive. You did all that! You should be proud of yourself!
But I know fully well that self-compassion and acknowledgement tends to be one of the hardest thing every person should learn in life. So let me help you...
I'm proud of you.
I'm proud of the person you have become.
You've conquered so much and I firmly believe that all of your efforts are not wasted.
You did all that and more because you didn't give up on yourself; that makes me all the more proud of the person you have become today.
You are doing everything you can to show up for yourself, even on your worst days, and acknowledge your hard work and efforts. Just treat yourself every now and then because we both know you deserve it.
It was all worth it, the blood, sweat and tears; those sleepless nights, the overtimes, the extra efforts, all of it is worth it. And you did an amazing job!
I'm so happy that you didn't let yourself give up on your own happiness. We both know you deserve so let yourself acknowledge it.
Go book that spa treatment. Get that cute new outfit. Eat that extra cookie. Go book that flight. Book that vacation. You deserve it all.
You don't owe anyone any explanation why you chose to love yourself and why you chose your path. It's your life and you are the captain of your own ship. You deserve to have all your dreams and wishes come true. We both know you deserve it, so don't you think it's time to actually admit to yourself that you are worthy of finer and better things in life?

The World & FE3H
Tumblr media
The World represents completion and fulfilment. The bright blue skies represent a feeling of optimism and triumph. It is arriving at exactly where one is meant to be after a long journey. The laurel in a circular shape shows the cycle of life, and how arriving at the end of one cycle means the beginning of another. The figure is once again surrounded by the four angelic beings, looking on with contented expressions in the Rider-Waite Smith deck.
This crest has a special place in the world of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, as only four people have had this crest before. Sothis, Nemesis, Byleth, and Edelgard. I will focus on all except Edelgard, and try to figure out what their names mean and how they relate to The World card. (I’m excluding Edelgard only because I have already covered her in The Devil card)
Tumblr media
Sothis’ name is a god’s name. It is the personification of Sirius, the Dog Star, in Egyptian mythology. This star rises in the new year, when the plantings are meant to begin, and is a goddess of fertility.
Considering Sothis in the game can heal lands and her rebirth heralds the start of a new year, we can see how the game took direct inspiration from her namesake. In terms of The World, Sothis looks to be utterly content in her abilities, mirroring the confidence of The World card. I do wish more parallels could be drawn between Sothis and Anna, considering The Fool and The World are sister cards.
Tumblr media
Nemesis is a goddess of revenge (how I wish they had stuck with that, and made the Nemesis in game a woman too). She represents jealousy, envy, and anger. She gave rewards for noble acts and punishment for evil ones, sometimes reserving them for future generations. Strangely, she will also punish those who have undeserved good fortune or those who showed hubris before the gods.
This makes the name very strange in FE3H, as Nemesis the character does evil acts, and shows hubris before the gods (Sothis). Perhaps this name really should have belonged to Seiros. Or perhaps Nemesis is meant to evoke in us the archnemesis of a character.
Tumblr media
Finally, Byleth’s name is based off of Beleth, a king of Hell. He has legions of demons under his command and likely also helped with maths proofs? (I don’t really understand demons that much).
Byleth’s connections to The World is the strongest, as at the end of each route, they find where they belong in the world. If they save Rhea and take their rightful place at the helm of the church or a country, they achieve fulfilment and harmony. However, if they choose to follow The Devil card, the ending of the game and their own personal ending is filled with disharmony and a sense of incompleteness -- Byleth goes back to where they started, instead of coming to a new level of understanding.
Tumblr media
Byleth can also connect to both Sothis and Nemesis. In the majority of routes, Byleth becomes a god, and signals the beginning of a new era. They can heal the people and the land through their leadership, just like Sothis. Just like Nemesis, Byleth can enact judgement and revenge upon either Rhea or Edelgard.
So that’s it! That’s all the major arcana and their associated crest & dragon names. I really enjoyed making all these connections, and it brought me closer to the Major Arcana deck as well!
I didn’t originally plan on it, but I will be doing the minor arcana at some point in the future. I think there are actually four factions in FE3H, so I will pair each suit with a faction, then pair each card in the suit with an event, character, or emotion from the faction/route. So if your favourite character hasn’t come up yet, they probably will in the minor arcana discussion!

Next: The Wands
