I was talking about Holocaust specifically. And in the context of a specific book being banned and in close proximity of a specific anniversary - both of them relating to the Holocaust.

There's one Holocaust and that is the genocide of 6 million Jews by Nazi Germany. Other genocides do not qualify under the term Holocaust as it specifically refers to the mass and brutal extermination of Jewish people.

I'm Polish. I had a family member who died because he was put in a concentration camp. Nazi Germans murdered around 1.9 million Polish civilians who weren't Jewish. If you add Polish Jews that number grows considerably. Do you see me yelling "well, what about non-Jewish victims?! My people died in huge numbers too, this is the only thing that matters!"

What you're doing is, you're using whataboutism and essentially, "All Lives Matter" rhetoric to talk about the mass murder of six million people. Let me repeat that. SIX MILION PEOPLE WERE MURDERED. And here you are diminishing it because apparently Germans didn't discriminate in their discrimination (pretty ironic, huh?) and there are other groups targeted by them.

And to explain something to you. Jewish people are an ethnoreligious group and nation. This simply means that they are unified by common religious beliefs and ethnic background, as they originated from the Israelites and Hebrews of historical Israel and Judah, therefore @theladyandtheunicorn was right. What they also said, is that Nazis saw Jewish people as a race and one that is inferior to their Aryan race. They didn't actually say that Jewish is a race.

So for next time maybe calm down a little and get educated or improve your reading comprehension skills before you start spewing this antisemitic bullshit.
