When Marinette found a magical ring and a cat god of chaos in her room, she knew her life was going to be turned upside down. Protecting Paris seems like something she should love, especially with her handsome partner Crimson by her side, but with the city fearful and untrusting of Lady Noire's destructive powers the stress slowly begins tearing her up from the inside out.

Adrien thought going to school would be the big change of his life, but a kwami called Tikki and the villain Monarch swiftly proves to be the adventure he never even dreamed of having. Being Crimson Beetle gives him the freedom he's always wanted, and while he's used to being in the spotlight being hailed the leader and savior is something entirely new. It's nearly as overwhelming as his crush on Marinette– but at least that's a normal teenage thing.

1. Partners

Adrien had never felt so alive.

Becoming Chat Noir had literally opened up his prison cell of a bedroom and sent him skyrocketing through Paris. He was free for the first time in his life and the grin just wouldn’t leave Adrien’s ridiculously photographed face.

With the wind in his hair, Adrien propelled himself across the rooftops of his beautiful city. The day had been utterly amazing. He’d been given awesome powers and had actually used them to defeat a crazy stone dude. Add the most perfect partner he could ever ask for and Adrien was floating on cloud nine.

Ladybug!

Her name caressed even the furthest depths of his mind and made him tingle with joy. The red and black spotted wonder had literally fallen out of the sky like some glorious angel from the heavens. Adrien had known, without a doubt, that she was to be one hell of a partner to his Chat Noir.

Another glorious grin pulled across Adrien’s lips. As if he had summoned the Little Bug, she had appeared in all her beautiful glory before him. He took a running jump over a sizeable gap between the rooftops, and silently skidded to a halt behind her. She stood looking out on the city in quiet contemplation.

Adrien watched her with a fluttering heart; planning his next move. For how did one start a conversation with a superhero? She had literally owned it today. In comparison, Chat Noir had been fairly useless.

“Are you going to stare at me all night?” Ladybug called over her shoulder, keeping her body facing the rest of Paris.

“Erm,” Adrien replied, clearing his throat and hesitantly walking towards the gorgeous girl. He felt strangely clammy as he came to a stop next to her. The feeling didn’t subside when she raised her twinkling eyes to him. “I didn’t want to scare you.”

“That’s very considerate of you,” Ladybug smiled, glancing away quickly.

“I’m a very considerate Cat,” Adrien grinned. Just being in her presence was utterly delightful.

“A cheeky Cat,” Ladybug replied with a little snort. “I’ve only known you a few hours Monsieur Noir, but already I’ve heard you joke and pun more than anyone I’ve ever met!”

“It’s a gift,” Adrien said with a happy shrug. “I also haven’t been able to resist bugging you, Little Lady.”

“Little Lady?” She said with a raise of an eyebrow. “Is this a requirement for our new partnership? Pet names and punning?”

“It’s what all good superhero duos need in order to catch the bad guys,” Adrien said in his most serious voice. “Didn’t you read the manual?”

“Actually I didn’t,” Ladybug admitted with a small sigh. “In fact I’m quite sure someone made a mistake giving me, of all people, a Miraculous.”

“After your performance today?” Adrien asked with a frown. “Ladybug, I don’t think anyone is in any doubt that you are the perfect choice for a Miraculous superpower. You were amazing!”

“What if that was a one off?” The masked girl whispered, gazing up at him with wide eyes. “What if I can’t do anything the next time Hawk Moth creates an Akuma? I was an absolute disaster the first time I faced Stone Heart.”

“How long have you been Ladybug?”

“A-around twenty hours,” she admitted, “maybe twenty-one.”

“So, in around twenty or twenty-one hours you have managed to get a handle on your powers, cure an Akuma victim and defeat Hawk Moth in an epic show down,” Adrien said, unable to keep the awe out of his voice. “You saved countless people and did it all with grace and style.”

“I’m really clumsy,” Ladybug replied with a pink blush covering her face. “I would hardly say I have grace or style.”

“You should watch the footage from today,” Adrien smiled softly, watching the little Bug cross her arms self-consciously. “At no point do you come across as clumsy. You are every bit the hero Paris needs.”

“You seem very sure of this,” Ladybug muttered, continuing to hug herself. “I think if you met the real me you’d understand.”

She moved away from him to sit on the edge of the roof. Chat followed and sat tentatively beside her, swinging his long legs against the brickwork. This was new territory for him. He had very little experience with human beings. His early life had been extremely sheltered and his teen years so far had involved being imprisoned in his house twenty-four seven. It was rare to interact with anyone his own age, let alone an awesome girl with serious insecurities.

“I can think of lots of people better suited to being Ladybug than me,” she continued, “even if today was eventually a success. Someone else could have cleansed Stone Heart much quicker.”

“You’re being too hard on yourself,” Adrien said carefully. “You may be a clumsy Lady outside of the suit but that doesn’t mean you’re not any good at being Ladybug. It’s our first day. With time, we’ll both get better and quicker at dealing with the Akuma.”

“You really think so?” Ladybug sighed, pulling her legs up and resting her chin on her knees.

Adrien lightly placed a clawed hand on her dainty shoulder. “I really do.”

“It’s so overwhelming,” she whispered, keeping her eyes trained on the dark skyline. “A strange bug-like, magical, red and black god appears in my room and tells me I’ve been chosen to help save Paris from monsters. I’m supposed to just nod and jump across the city with a yo-yo!”

“The fact that you made the choice to jump across the city with a yo-yo and kick ass is the reason why you shouldn’t worry about whether you’re good enough,” Adrien replied with a reassuring squeeze on her shoulder. “You clearly have great potential.”

Ladybug sent him a weak smile. “Thank you Kitty.”

Adrien flushed at the nickname and moved his hand into his lap. “We’ll work together to deal with this Hawk Moth nutter. Ladybug and her trusty sidekick; Chat Noir.”

The girl shook her head and frowned up at him. “No, that’s not right.”

“It’s not?” Adrien asked, his gut sinking in disappointment. He may have not been amazing today but he’d tried to support her as best he could.

“Ladybug and her trusty partner,” she uttered gently, blushing prettily. “Chat Noir is no sidekick. We are equals in all of this.”

“We are?” Adrien said, feeling his own cheeks turn crimson.

“Of course we are,” Ladybug nodded, looking certain for the first time since he’d landed beside her. “I couldn’t have done anything today without you being there.”

“I’m glad I could help,” Adrien smiled warmly at the girl. He felt his entire body start tingling pleasantly again. “I also like the sound of our partnership very much.”

“I don’t really know what we’re supposed to do about Hawk Moth,” she admitted, pulling out her yo-yo to fiddle with the string. “But I’m guessing we’ll need to work on using our new powers, so that when he does strike we’ll be better prepared.”

“Do you think we should meet up regularly to practice then?” Adrien asked, attempting and failing to keep the excitement from his voice.

Ladybug laughed and gave him a light nudge. “That sounds like a good plan Kitty. Maybe once or twice a week to get to know each other and our abilities.” “We could patrol the city whilst we do it!” Adrien said enthusiastically, sitting up straighter and grinning like a mad man.

“We could,” she agreed, continuing to laugh and his positivity.

Adrien pulled his baton from behind his back and opened up the phone option. He’d been playing with it all evening and had been intrigued to find a number of useful features stored within it. “If you give me your phone number we’ll be able to co-ordinate times and days. What’s your real name?”

Ladybug placed a hand over his, halting him from adding a new contact. Adrien glanced up to find her gazing at him fearfully and biting on her lower lip.

“You don’t want me to have your real name?” He asked quietly, disappointment making his cat ears drop low to his head.

“I’d rather keep Ladybug and the real me separate for the time being,” she admitted softly. “Until I feel more comfortable about it all.”

Adrien nodded sadly. “I’m guessing you don’t want me to have your number either.”

“You already have it,” Ladybug replied, dropping her hand from his and holding up her yo-yo. “At least, I think you do. I seem to have yours.”

His baton screen lit up, showing he had an incoming call from Ladybug. Adrien looked at it in shock for a second, before pressing the answer button. He couldn’t resist the smile that came to his lips as her face filled the screen. Ladybug waved somewhat shyly into her yo-yo and giggled at his awed expression.

“Do you think this is okay?” She asked, hanging up and pointing between them.

“It’s great,” Adrien said, as earnest as possible. Sure, he’d rather know her real name and have her real phone number, but she didn’t actually know him yet. In time Ladybug would come to trust him and they wouldn’t need this kind of secrecy. It was their first step into a new and exciting adventure together. Adrien wasn’t going to blow it by being a needy baby.

“Thank you Kitty,” Ladybug said, with a relieved sigh.

“No,” Adrien replied, looking back out towards Paris’ twinkling lights. “Thank you, My Lady.”

His Partner let out another giggle and tentatively flicked his little cat bell. They both laughed as their eyes met, and Chat Noir knew he was screwed. He wouldn’t have been able to stop the thunderbolt to the heart if he’d tried.

I think it would be interesing if Princess Justice looked like Fallen Angel

I do have some sketches, but I am inspiring more on the Japanese side. I recently watched the legend of Kaguya-Hime and I am in love with the princess design. I also want that Marinette expresses the Chinese side of her family a little more. And most of the fan Princess Justice designs that I found are, or normal princess, roman style, dolls, or 100% French-inspired.

Little facts for Lady Crimson AU

Sabrina has a Bloodhound dog as her pet, her name is Cannelé. Adrien has two Hamsters, one is a hamster Ruso and the other is a Rovarowski, their names are Joker and Bain.

Gabriel is in a wheelchair for a sickness.

Chloé is crueler in this Au.

Not only the butterfly and peacock miraculous are missing, but the bunny miraculous is also missing.

Audrey works on TV net and she is 100 % divorced.

Zoe is 8 years old.

Their not Akumas, their Negais.

There also normal super villains that come from differet contreys.

Sabrina is Ace.

Emilie died when Adrien was 10 years old.

Adrien does attend school, but is a private one. until he decide to change with Chloé.

You see my deer anon, she and her mother are going to be part of a super villain group, you may no see her soon but she will help to defeat Chat Noir and Lady Crimson.

But she may stop when she is surrounded by friendship.

I think that "Justice-hime" wouldn't offend people only if you clearly show in-story that Marinette (half-Chinese girl) being akumatized into Japanese-themed Akumatized Villain is due to Gabriel/Hawkmoth's inconsideration of Asian culture, not yours.

That may be an explanation?

I mean, the times I saw/hear from the show that Marinette is half-Chinese is from her mom, when her uncle came to visit, and the Shanghai Special (that I forgot)

But no to worry, I found 公主 Gōngzhǔ (Princess in Chinese) and some good dresses to use as ref for her akumatization.

Is not between Sailor Moon sorry, is with DC. I just say it has some Sailor Moon trades, like the villains and powers a im going to change.

Yes! Since in canon Sabrina is the Dog temporary miraculous holder. Is between the dog, dragon, mouse, fox, tiger and probably stomp.

That sounds fun! But I Wang will still be akumatized, and Chloé has also an akumatization planned, the theme "Traitor".
