I was rewatching the 90’s Addams Family movies and it got to the part where Wednesday and Pugsley are preforming what I think is a scene from Hamlet at their school’s talent show and now I need a season of Wednesday where Enid forces Wednesday to audition for Nevermore’s school play with her.

Because I just know that Wednesday will be like “fine, but I won’t enjoy it” only to be super into it, go completely overboard and already have all of Shakespeare memorised leading to her getting the lead role and the entire Addams family coming to watch.

Best case scenario Romeo and Juliet but Wednesday’s Romeo and Enid’s Juliet and Wednesday makes it 1000x more gruesome than it already is and is always changing the lines but while maintaining perfect Shakespearean English leaving whoever’s directing (preferably Bianca) to be like “you know what sure this might as well happen”

Their opening performance is at the end of the season and also during the final battle against whoever the current villain is and when it gets to the part at the end where Romeo stabs themselves to be with Juliet Wednesday gets stabbed for real backstage but just decides go with it and finish her performance before telling anyone.

Enid: Wednesday you were stabbed! Why didn’t you say anything?

Wednesday: I was method acting, Enid. Don’t disregard my craft. My performance was immaculate.

Gomez and Morticia are NOT a perfect couple.

I'm being a wee bit picky but they're really not perfect.

I'll be brief but! Canonically (as loose as canon is in TAF):

They have very poor communication skills as a couple in the 1964 tv show, majority of the show is basically them miscommunicating. It works because it's a sitcom and this is glossed over but in real life this would impact their relationship in a significant and probably negative way

Then you have 1991 movie and Gomez Addams utter inability to deal with life problems. He gets instantly depressed and just leaves Morticia to deal with everything herself. In Addams Family Values, he literally decides to DIE because Fester marries Debbie and abandons the family. I mean.... hello. So it seems that this behaviour was completely unaddressed for like what?.... 15 -20 years of their marriage?

And no, these are not minor issues, these are serious issues but you know what wins?

Their utter love and devotion to each other? You would never see them being disrespectful towards each other, no matter what. Yes, they're not perfect, they have issues but I'm 100% sure they'd work them out, because they're just so so madly commited to each other. They never bitch about one another to other people. They'd never blame each other, even if that blame would be justified, because they know blaming each other is never a solution.

And that's what I love about them, they work hard on their marriage, they don't settle and don't take each other for granted, they keep the romance up, they openly adoring each other

They are the embodiment of the fact that love is not a feeling, love it doing.

Not to be angsty but what if Bianca feels a little left out 😭 Enid has her Ricci Wednesday and Wednesday has Yokovina. When Wednesday and Yoko and Divina are told this by Bianca they feel super bad and spend the entire day with her. Girls day ♥️♥️♥️

Poor Bianca, honestly I feel bad for her because so often she’s kinda left out cause there’s not enough characters and so there’s no one left to ship her with when it’s all said and done.

Honestly, I think Bianca would feel like a third (fourth?) wheel by tagging along with Wenkovina. She’d definitely get tired quickly of watching the three of them fawn all over each other and constantly making out with each other lol.

Honestly, the ideas I’ve had for this whole AU get pretty angsty for Wednesday and Enid. While Wednesday feels betrayed and abandoned by pretty much everyone because they all like Other Wednesday more and end up siding with Other Wednesday, even Enid. Quite honestly? The only people who side with Ortega!Wednesday is obviously Yoko and Divina, then Bianca, and Larissa probably. Everyone else just pretty much forgets about Ortega!Wednesday, which hurts her a lot more than she ever expected it would.

So yeah, Bianca probably tags along with Wenkovina some days for girls day out, but is so beyond over watching them crawl all over each other lmaoooo.

Side Note: I’ve also been playing with this idea where Ortega!Wednesday is forced to vacate the room by the dorm mother so that Ricci!Wednesday can move in with Enid, something along the lines of “These two work so well together, so it’s better to have them room together” or something like that. Wednesday finds out because she’s asking the dorm mom to move out and into Yoko’s room because she can’t bear to be around Enid anymore. So when she finds out that she’s actually being forcefully moved out? Well, that’s a very long crying session with Yoko and Divina holding her close. Thankfully, Wednesday has the siren and the vampire to be there with her while she packs all of her stuff, so she doesn’t have to face Enid or Ricci!Wednesday on her own.

Yayyyyy angst!

(Side side note: I swear the Enid bashing is unintentional. I’m just in too deep now, I can’t go back lol)

Doing another Addams Family marathon.

Just the movies right now. The Addams Family (1991), Addams Family Values, Addams Family Reunion, The Addams Family (2019), and I still don't have The Addams Family 2.

I might watch the 60s sitcom and Wednesday again. I might not.

I've found Scooby-Doo Meets The Addams Family on YouTube, I just haven't watched it yet. The same goes for the musical. I found the soundtrack and a couple full recordings.

I'm also hunting down Halloween with the New Addams Family from 1977, The New Addams Family from 1998, and the cartoons from 1992 and 1973.

Actively searching for books/comics as well.

After this I plan on watching The Munsters Revenge because I'm in that mindset, I don't have the original series, and I don't like the Rob Zombie movie. The Little Vampire, The Witches (the original), Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, and Elvira's Haunted Hills are also on the to-do list. And maybe the Hotel Transylvania movies if I'm up for it. Not the fourth one though.

I'm a very busy lazy person with nothing to do.
