“I am able to do more than just turn whatever I touch to gold. If I wanted to, as long as there is contact to channel through, I can be hyper-specific in what is being turned to gold. I once turned someone’s literal stomach organ into gold once while I kept everything else organic when I placed my hand onto his torso. Not only would he be unable to eat, he injured the rest of his innards with the sheer weight of a solid gold stomach. He died a very, very slow and painful death.

“As for what he did to deserve this? He was a miser who starved his child to death, and the judge was going to give him an unjustly light sentence because of his wealth. I deliberately committed petty theft so I could be tossed in the same prison cell specifically so I could show him what it feels to be unable to fill a belly when your focus is more on gold.”
