Wolf and Raven Chapter 1
Been a while since I’ve done anything like this huh? Further explanations will be at the end.

Masterlist
Snow always seemed to dampen noise. Even though there was some wind to be felt within the trees, it could barely be heard. It gently tossed snow and teased the edge of furs belonging to a figure with amber eyes just within the treeline. Watched the shore, waiting, hoping.
A black dot appeared on the horizon, getting larger and larger every second until a raven landed on the shore.
The figure within the tree line shot to their feet and began to walk out, only to pause as the raven changed shape.
Standing in the raven’s place was a woman, dark skin and hair with feathers intertwined with a braid at front and across the scalp. Clad in black clothing with a raven’s outstretched wings etched across her chest, and in one hand held a Staff of Power. Raven’s Staff of Power, but this was not the Raven the figure in the trees knew.
The woman turned slowly, scanning the water and the treeline, pausing only for a moment as her eyes landed on the hider’s position.
Finally, the person in the treeline left, trying to appear at ease as she approached. In contrast to the solid black of the woman on shore, this person had silvery hair tied back in a plait that poked out of her hood, dressed warmly in grey and white furs. She pulled down the fur lined cloak hood, appraising the newcomer with amber eyes, while a curved scar ran across her cheek.
“Did Raven send you?”
The woman clad in black narrowed her eyes a fraction. “I think you will find that I am Raven.”
“I see,” the woman in furs glanced at the Staff of Power in Raven’s hand. It was a bit more ornate than she remembered, perhaps to emulate the new holder. “My apologies Raven. Thank you for answering my call.”
“If it was your call I answered, then you must be Wolf?”
“I am she,” Wolf inclined her head slightly. “Welcome to my home.”
Raven scanned the snowy treeline behind them, nodding ever so slightly, her expression carefully schooled.
“I take it you were not expecting me,” Raven said, unreadable eyes meeting Wolf’s.
“I was not,” Wolf answered honestly. “I knew your predecessor, I was expecting him, if he came at all.”
“I hope to not disappoint.”
“I am sure that you will not,” Wolf smiled. “Are your Warriors on their way?”
“Aye. They will be here within the hour.”
“Excellent,” Wolf turned her gaze towards the water. “Please do not be insulted by them having to complete trials, the Giants wish to make their judgements.”
“I was expecting it,” Raven nodded, followed Wolf’s gaze.
Wolf nodded, folding her arms and shifting her weight slightly. The water was still as glass, reflecting the clear sky perfectly. Yet the wind still whipped by, catching whisps of hair that weren’t caught in the plait.
“Your message was not detailed,” Raven noted. “It merely asked for the help of Raven and the Warriors against a threat. What is happening here?”
Wolf took a deep breath. “I will explain in more detail once the Warriors arrive, but simply, the land is dying, and I believe that, Nevar, is behind it.”
Raven stiffened beside her before nodding. “Nevar is trapped in a desolate realm, but he seems to be able to influence this world from it, and move between at times.”
“I have seen his demons,” Wolf’s face twisted. “Whether Nevar is physically here is irrelevant. I can feel him. Like a rabbit feels the gaze of a hawk.”
Raven glanced up. “I feel it also.”
“It is worse the further you go into the forest,” Wolf shifted her weight again. “I hope that your Warriors are up to the task.”
“They will be.”
 ---
Raven’s timekeeping was excellent. An hour later four canoes had been pulled up onto shore and 16 Warriors were assembled. They were split into four groups of four, dressed in red, blue, green and white. They were the Stoats, the Bears, the Lynx and the Hawks, respectively.
Raven stepped towards them.
“Warriors,” she spoke. “Welcome to the Wilds of the North. We have been summoned here to aid in a great peril. Nevar and his forces have reached this place, and we will need your help to remove him,” she turned to look at Wolf. “This is Wolf, the one who summoned us here, she will provide more information.”
Wolf stepped forward, eying the Warriors. They were young, too young in her opinion. However their faces were determined and they held themselves with great confidence.
“I have sensed Nevar’s presence within this land for several weeks, and have heard word on the wind that he and his forces have set up a fortress in the heart of this forest,” Wolf cast her arm back to gesture to the trees behind her. “At the centre of this forest stands a mighty tree, which is the beating heart of these lands. Recently a dark corruption has spread from the heart, poisoning the creatures of this land.
“The rulers of this land, the Giants, also fear. For they are connected to this land as any of the trees, and this corruption is weakening them. They are the ones who asked for me to call for help, and they will be the ones testing you. They cannot risk the impure of heart reaching the Heart Tree.
“More shall be explained as time goes on, but for now we shall proceed to the leadership trials. Follow me.”
Wolf began to walk into the trees and Raven followed, the Warriors in single file behind.
The Leadership trials were simple, one physical and one mental challenge for each team. Above them the trees creaked and groaned and Wolf could feel the Giants watching, judging.
The Leaders were selected and Wolf stepped forward.
“Congratulations Warriors, your leaders have been selected. Heed them well. Leaders, look out for you team, guide them well. The Giant’s Trials will begin tomorrow, so I suggest you get plenty of rest. I shall report back to the Giants, and reconvene with you all in the morrow. Goodnight.”
Wolf stepped away from the group, changing into a grey wolf before loping off into the forest.
Raven watched the Warriors set up camp until she noticed the purple glow coming the Raven’s Eye. With a quick excuse she walked into the trees, away from camp, and summoned Raven of Old.
A man in a black feathered mantle and black cloak, black hair and beard appeared from purple smoke.
“Is everything proceeding as planned?” he asked.
“The Warriors have arrived safely and have selected their leaders. They will be ready for the challenges that await them.”
Raven of Old nodded. “And Wolf?”
“She has been helpful. She is advising the Warriors and acting as liaison for the Giants.”
Raven of Old looked away briefly before looking back at Raven. “I suggest that you be careful around her. Do not trust her.”
“Why? Do you not trust her?”
Raven of Old levelled his gaze at Raven, eyes peering right through her. “She has betrayed me before. Keep your eye on her.”
“I understand,” Raven tilted her head ever so slightly.
Raven of Old nodded in approval before looking around the snow covered trees. “This is a strange land, with many enemies. I will do my best to gather information on Nevar’s forces from the desolate realm. Keep your wits about you young Raven, and may the luck of the Raven’s Eye be with you.”
“Thank you Raven,” Raven nodded, before Raven of Old disappeared in a puff of purple smoke.
For a moment, Raven let the mask slip, uncertainty flitting across her face before squaring her shoulders and walking back to camp.
Wolf meanwhile had run to the outskirts of the forest, where the trees gave way to the grey rock and scrubby grass of the mountain foothills. She sat for a moment, tongue lolling as she caught her breath, before tilting her head back and howling.
By the time the first echo had faded, the rocks in front of her had moved, shifting and twisting until they resembled one, massive, foot.
The sky darkened above her as the mountain moved, and a rocky hand lowered, each finger the width of a canoe. Wolf stepped onto the hand and settled in the palm as it rose up again. She shifted to human as the hand brought her higher, and stood up when the hand juddered to a halt.
A face loomed in the clouds, craggy lips as long as a tree was tall and eyes more than twice the size of Wolf’s head. The skin was the colour of the rock, in fact it was the rock. These weren’t mountains, but the sleeping Giants themselves.
“Reeeepoooort,” the Giant rumbled like thunder.
“The Warriors show promise, they have selected their leaders from the trials, and will be ready for the challenges you bring in the morning.”
“Aaaand the Daaark Oooone?”
“There was no sign of him. Your wards around the trials were effective.”
“Gooood. The Raaaaven whoooo iiiis nooot a raaaaven, hooooow faaaaress sheee?”
“She appears to fare well. She was not who I expected, but I will take what help I can get.”
“Gooood. Reeest liiiittle Woooolf. Theee fooorest groooows daaarkeerrr eeeaach daaaay.”
“I will. I know.”
The hand began to lower her back to the ground, and once down Wolf began to hike back to her own camp.

A/N
So, hi. Been a while since I actually posted something here that wasn’t The Watch AU related, huh?
It's not that I haven't been writing, just not anything that's finished, and you all know I don't like to start posting stuff unless the whole thing is finished. So, this is still fanfiction. This is fanfiction for the series Raven, from CBBC. If you've never heard of it, it's a medieval themed gameshow that I grew up with that aired from 2002-2010 with the og Raven (here as Raven of Old), played by James Mackenzie, and returned for 2 series in 2017-2018 with a new Raven played by Aisha Toussaint, with Raven of Old popping in in a similar manner to what was in this chapter.
This is going to be in the style of the story based spin-offs (Raven: The Island, Raven: The Secret Temple, and Raven: The Dragon's Eye), with less focus on the contestants/Warriors and more on the acted characters. I had this idea around 2009 and recently got reminded of it and wanted to make it half decent. Obviously when I first thought of this, James Mackenzie was still playing Raven all the time and there was not even a hint of Aisha Toussaint's Raven, but there you go.
Wolf is my OC in all of this, and the Giants and the Land to the North are my own concept, but Nevar and both Ravens are canon to the Raven universe.
Thank you to @fairyofsomething for reading this over for me!
Giant Speech not elongated
“Report,”
“And the Dark One?”
“Good. The Raven who is not a raven, how fares she?”
“Good. Rest little Wolf. The forest grows darker each day.”

1831 Thurs. 20 January
7 10/..
12 20/..
L
F46º at 7 10/.., soft damp morning with a little rain while I was out - out at 8 10/.. to the Muette gate Boulevard de Beauséjour  and back at 10 10/.. - dressed - 1 5/.. hour reading Le Temps - breakfast in 25 minutes - 15 11 35/.. had my hair done - had 1/2 hour's nap - Letter from Mariana (Leamington) about 12 1/2 - at my desk at one - read my letter - dated 1/2 down the 2nd page from Warren's hotel London  3 pages and the ends and under the seal -
Mention of the death of Mr. John Charles of Newton Kyme - neither of the executors can act with her Mr. Charles (John late the banker) residing out of the kingdom and writes Mrs. Charles to Mariana ‘Mr. Raper you know from his conduct is banished [from] the kingdom’  Death of your old and faithful housekeeper Mrs. Tatham - William Milne not well - inquired after the school recommissioned by Miss MacLean (my poor dear Sibella) Miss Clomels, Yorkgate, much pleased with it - expense till the age of 14 or 15 £100 a year and Mariana will make a sacrifice to send her niece there - of course as I ought to know I have not much to expect from her in the money way
Mr. Willoughby Crewe writes her that the people began to threaten in Cheshire - she had thought much of what I told her about returning to England - I shall most likely be at 'home in July which perhaps is the best place for us to be together in' such a chance as Scarbro' 2 years ago is not to be expected -
“If your aunt's health will admit of a return to England possibly she might sit down comfortably at Shibden - certainly such an arrangement would set you more at liberty than any other, and now that you are in such good luck as to society, and stumbling on eligible companions for seeing all you may desire of other countries, I would certainly have you follow it up - you will not be less inclined to go again, should opportunity offer, and if it should not, it will always be an advantage to both that even one has seen the world"
She thinks 'somehow' the continent will not be long open to us - will 'count the time like a school girl' to July - voila tout on this subject  well it is all very well I must make my plans and then tell her them never expecting her advice to help them much - Lady, I mean Mme. de Polignac was a Parkinson daughter says Mariana of the last sister of the present Lord Rancliffe - niece to the Lady of Mrs. Salmon's  brother Captain Barrow - from 1 3/4 to 4 25/.. wrote 3 pages and the ends, long, and under the seal, all very small and close to Mariana from 4 1/2 to 6 wrote page 4, and the ends and crossed page 1 and finished my letter to Mrs. William Priestly begun Monday the 10th instant (vide lines 1 and 8 of page 16)
Dinner at 6 10/.. - read the paper - came to my room at 7 1/2 - _twenty five minutes preparing napkin for my cousin came gently between one and two this afternoon - have wrote to Mariana, surprised to find her in London -
"It is impossible ever to count upon anything like fixity in their case, quite as  much so as in my own - as to myself, nothing is more settled than when I wrote last - no communication has as yet passed on the subject of returning, between my father and me - but you shall know all as soon as you can - I have no reason, at present, to think my aunt will not be able to bear the journey; tho' it is probably enough, if she does not go next summer, she may never go at all - However, perhaps the chances are, we shall     make the attempt - as for my traveling schemes, I see your uncertainty, but I do talk, and must talk of them, because I cannot calculate upon being able to remain comfortably in England - even you yourself, weighing all things justly on the balance, will not, I think, be for my staying longer than necessary beyond the time where we have been as much together as circumstances will permit - my aunt may do very well at Shibden - rien à dire contre - quant à moi, c'est une autre paire de manches - I do not expect the chance of Scarbro' encore, and only ask for 3 weeks, because I think you would have a right to claim the time certain - But we shall see by and by comment tout cela doit d'arranger - as for my 3 possible, just possible traveling companions, I do not count upon any one of them; and all would be very temporary - Lady S- [Stuart] (Gordon) may perhaps be persuaded to go to Spain - Miss Mackenzie is still, I believe, at, or not far from Naples and Miss Pickford is I know not where - and perhaps, after all, [your wid[?]] is as likely as anybody - je n'en sais rien - sufficient till the day etc. etc. and I shall not pother myself by attempting to fin[al] anything till the time comes - I shall be delighted and satisfied to see you, and this will be enough for me -
Poor dear Sibbella! I have lost the ostensible and now, I find, the real object I cared to wait for here; and, I confess, I have felt more than usually unsettled since my last return - I can understand the regret for [totality] - It is a serious thing, more serious than we sometimes fancy, to lose anyone to whom we have been long accustomed - I refuse going anywhere in an evening, for I am not in a humor for it and morning visits I make as seldom as I can - Mrs. Hamilton promised to introduce me to Lady Granville; but she has not yet been called upon for the fulfillment of her promise; and I am in no hurry - now that my mind is almost made up to be off from here in the summer, I am indifferent about things that would otherwise have interested me much - nous verrons - I am not much above concert-pitch; and now that I have done enough of at my accounts for the present (expense of last year not much above thirteen-hundred) I am seriously meditating a return to my little apartment, and turning back to something more mental than the commonplace of rue Godot - By the way, 13 hundreds are more than I wish to spend just now; but, in the status quo, I am quite sure I cannot make less do - economy goes for something in my not visiting this winter, tho' I am not sorry to have this excuse to make to myself"
Mention Kinnersy having changed 5/. for transmitting the money - 'the accounts I have from Briggs are much better than I expected - all my rents were paid' - remember hearing 'my poor dear friend speak of Miss Clomel's (Yorkgate, London) school'. She at one time wished to have her nieces there - 'It is a nice situation, from all I remember about it, a very likely one to suit their people' ask the age of 'Mariana Lajeune' - 'I am glad you think her such a nice girl, and shall be anxious to hear what you determine about her - at her age, she certainly has no time to lose' - ask after Steph - fear she can expect no great advice from that quarter - will inquire about Mme Thomas rue des filles St. Thomas no. 23 Mde des modes - mention have several 2 or 3 times met a lady I should have fancied Mrs. John Raper had I not beheld her to be at St. Bues in Cumberland. Beg Mariana not to forget her French and if she sends little Mariana to Miss Clomel to 'beg that this language may be particularly attended to' - all the rest of my letter chit-chat of no consequence
my letter to Mrs. W. Priestly - chit chat - had received her letter on my return home 'for which I should have made a point of thanking you immediately, had my mind been more at ease' - she would see by the papers the death of my poor friend Miss MacLean 'for the nearness of which I was strangely unprepared - Deceived to the last, she herself was not aware of the real state she was in, till the last 3 or 4 days; and the 1st account that met me on my return was that of her death' - Congratulation on the Sutherlands being returned to Crownest -
'I can easily understand and join in their sentiments on this subject - I am accustomed to give you credit in matters of both of feeling and of judgement; and it is not in this instance that I should be inclined to dissent, in spite of the opinions, the wishes, or the interests of others’
say 'I had a very interesting tour last summer - a week on the Spanish side of the mountains and at the 1st Spanish town found the contrast between the French and Spaniards as striking as that between the French and English on first landing at Calais - from Narbonne to near Marseilles disappointed with the shores of the Mediterrtanian but M- Toulon and Hières made us regret that our arrangements did not allow of our going farther' -
I find my aunt surprisingly well - she had behaved admirably during the revolution, having been much calm and composed than many younger and stronger people - she says she never felt alarmed but once, and that only for a little while when Marmont threatened to blow up the whole street if they did not instantly cease making the barricade, which, however, was completed in the night - we had no fear during the trial of the ex ministers - 100,000 men under arms - sense enough' -
All as quiet here now as the P-s [Priestleys] themselves can be at Lightcliffe - mention Laffitte’s being ruined by the revolution - conclude with
‘I know your time is a thousand (crossing on the 1st page) times better employed than in writing to me, and therefore and therefore only I do not expect to hear from you very soon - If you wait 6 or 7 months, perhaps you may have an opportunity of answering in person - Do not name this to any one but Mr. Priestley because our plans are at this moment not fixed, and therefore not mentioned even to our friends at Shibden - I am too much accustomed to trust to your discretion to doubt it in any case - you may see us both - it depends this time as I told you it did 2 years ago, on my father - I fancy you can read my crossing without much difficulty - I did not wish to write the last sentence where Mrs. Bagnold could read it too easily - my aunt’s kind regards to yourself (had before joined in mine to Mr. Priestley) - and my own, too, and believe me, my dear Mrs. Priestley, affectionately and very truly yours A L- Anne Lister’
dated ‘Friday 21 January 1831’ - from 7 1/2 to 9 1/4 (coffee at 9 20/.. and came to my room at 10 55/..) and from 11 to 11 1/4 wrote all but the first 22 lines of today - did not talk much to my aunt tonight - read her what M- [Mariana] wrote on the subject of our going to Shibden , and said, I took it, that she did not particularly advise but said nothing at all against it - spoke as if hesitating on the subject - but my aunt herself says she thinks it best on all accounts to go - Soft damp disagreeable day - a little rain in the morning while I was out - and gentle rain from about 2 p.m. for a considerable time - F48º now at 11 20/.. p.m. and damp, wet night - raining a little - rainy night -

Lovely Good Omens fandom! Many of you have asked for/mentioned having a text version of the Yelp reviews, which if I were a better person I would have remembered to include in the first place. Better late than never? So here’s a version below and I also threw this up on AO3 so there are options. For the record, I’m not at all trained in transcribing visual media, so if anyone wants to add to/edit/do whatever to this post, especially to make it more accessible, you have carte blanche to do so 👍
Also I typed this up in a hurry so, as always, apologies for any typos.

So I slipped into this place because I spotted my ex across the street and would have rather chugged a cocktail of bleach, lighter fluid, and a condensed solution of all my middle school years then talk to that asshole. Owner was on me the second I walked through the door and I thought he was gonna be one of those ‘Either buy something or get out’ types. Nah. I spilled the story, said I really wasn’t looking to purchase anything, and he LIT UP like nobody’s business. He gave me tea and promised I’d never run into my ex again. Which is a super sketchy promise on its own and also should have been hilarious coming from a guy a century behind in style.
...Kinda believed him though.

Pretty sure this guy wants a library, not a bookshop. I mean, he’s nice and all when you first come in, but trying to actually buy a book? Good fucking luck. He’s too busy to see you right now (for the record he’s super bad at pretending to be busy). Or claims that this book has already been put on reserve (then why wasn’t it in the reserve pile...?). Or the price suddenly jumped an obscene amount. Or he just straight up hems and haws until you get fed up and leave. I watched him pull a novel straight out of a woman’s hands once when she claimed that price was no object and she wouldn’t be leaving the store until she’d purchased it. You’d think she was trying to kidnap one of the guy’s kids!
So yeah. Feel like popping in to browse, maybe take pictures for your research, all while making quiet conversation with someone who quite frankly knows his stuff? This is the place for you. Want to actually buy something? Go elsewhere. Pretty sure Fell doesn’t even own a cash register. At least I’ve never seen one.
He wants a library and I’d honestly tell him as much if he didn’t scare me just a little bit...

I stayed here for three days once. Found a bathroom off the romance section and a chair hidden away in the back. Way comfier than my mattress at home. Mostly played iPhone games and kept real quiet at night. Experiment ended when I popped out for breakfast and didn’t make it back before a random 10:00am closing. Don’t think the owner ever realized what was up.

I really love this place. I’ve been coming here since I moved to London, about twelve years ago, and it’s one of the most soothing bookstores I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. Yeah, you hear talk of weird things going on at Fell’s, but really? We could all do with a bit more quirky in our lives. And Fell provides that in spades: Annual plants that never seem to wither, let alone die. The smell of incense mixing with cocoa. Strange books tucked horizontally into the shelves, feeling like they have a touch of magic to them. Nonsensical conversations taking place in dark corners (I’m talking candid chats about the apocalypse and whether angels could actually bless all the rains down in Africa. I swear Fell and his boyfriend are the religion Mythbusters or something.) I’m going to sound like a total nerd here for a moment, but it feels like some sort of liminal space. You know when you were a kid and you were just desperate to receive your Hogwarts letter? Or find your own wardrobe to Narnia? That’s what walking into Fell’s feels like. Like you’ve finally found that portal and can stay as long as you like, provided you don’t try to take anything back with you into the ‘real’ world. Hell, maybe that’s why he won’t let anyone buy his books.

I’m not gonna pretend I have anything to say about whether this is a good bookstore or not, but if you ever want knitting help you should definitely stop by. Mr. Fell knows an absurd amount about crafts for a guy who looks like my grandpa and he’s now replaced Youtube as my go-to for alleviating “Omg please fix this how the hell did I manage to reverse the pattern??” panic. For the record, I didn’t just wander up to a random bookseller one day and demand that he help me salvage the ruins of my first sweater. I’d taken a seat inside to wait out a storm, had my messy sleeve stuffed into my purse, and he’d offered the help. Bit of a bastard about things like gauge and color--not everyone wants to wear tartan, dude--but you get used to that. He means well. Said I should come back to show him the finished piece, which I did. Things just kind of spiraled from there. He’s an absolute treasure trove of knowledge once you get him talking and a muffin to boot. If he were twenty years younger and in any way straight I would have asked him out in a heartbeat. As it is I’m considering setting him up with Grandpa.

I’m not really a book person myself but I followed my wife in with our seventh-month old and was kinda embarrassed when he started making a fuss. Normally I’m full Badass Mom mode while in public--I’ve got a kid to feed, change, sooth, and you all can damn well deal with it--but this place was so quiet Liam seemed extra loud in comparison. I was about to take him back out when a man appeared out of nowhere. The owner I guess, based on how some of these other reviews describe him. Older gentleman with clothes out of some period piece. Anyway, he scoops Liam into his arms like he was born for it and started bouncing. Our fussy, temperamental, drama queen Liam settled in an instant and my wife got to browse to her heart’s content. I don’t know how he did it, but that man is an absolute angel. Full stars for that moment alone.

Run by this delightfully frumpy guy who sometimes hands out biscuits from a sewing tin like my gran used to. He asked me if I was looking for anything in particular and I told him my name was Jared, I was 19, but sadly I’d never learned how to read. I have NEVER seen a man more confused in my life. 10/10 would meme him again.

I’m setting the record straight here since there are a bunch of reviews claiming it’s just London folklore: there is a snake at A.Z. Fell’s. Must be an exotic pet he usually keeps upstairs because I’ve only ever seen it twice. Is it big? Yes. Scary? Fuck yes, but I’ve never seen it do anything more than give a warning hiss at this drunk who wandered in and started yelling. (Are snakes good guard dogs? This one is.) The other time he was just chilling on top of one of the shelves. Snoozing, I guess. I asked Mr. Fell if I could pet him and he said maybe after he woke up, but then I had to get to class and all.
Afraid of snakes? Steer clear. Otherwise I’d really recommend popping in and seeing if he’s around. Idk, maybe I’m just a snake fan but he looks super sweet and chill. Life is short. Boop the snake snoot.

I live down the street from A.Z. Fell’s and let me tell you, this place is spooky as fuck. All sorts of weird lights and noises coming from it. At all times of the day and night too. Either this bowtie wearing bookworm has one crazy sex life or the place is haunted. Jury’s out on which.

This shop smells. Not that old book smell either, oh no, but like something is molding. I took my little Johnny in here to try and get him interested in something other than those damned video games and I walk into what smells like a whole cloud of toxic mold! My boy has a weak constitution as it is and if he comes down with anything I will be pressing charges, you mark my words.

Has anyone read this guy’s opening hours? I included a photo above: “I open the shop on most days about 9:30AM perhaps 10:AM. While occasionally I have opened the shop as early as 8, I have been known not to open until 1.” Absolutely insane. This guy’s a madman and I love him. If anyone actually manages to get into this place please let me know because I need to shake Fell’s hand.

Under the cut… oh my god… lord give me strength… if any of y’all wanna get to know me… read this monster X’D
2. Are you outgoing or shy?
I think a bit of both?? I’m the type of person who’d willingly get lost in a strange city but also suddenly develop a stutter when I try to communicate with my fellow humans. :)
4. Are you easy to get along with?

6. What kind of people are you attracted to?
Kind ones. Who can tolerate me.

An ex friend/abuser atm. :))))

What qualifies as deep?? I guess, my Dad?? Maybe??

Dodie Clark - Monster
Easy Life - Pockets
Lorde - Buzzcut Season

20. Do you like your neighbors?
Yes on one side. No on the other side.
22. Where would you like to travel?
America firstly. Then all over the place to visit other friends. I promised my Mum I’d take her to San Francisco one day, so I gotta keep that promise.
24. Favorite part of your daily routine?
PETS :DDDDD
26. What do you do when you wake up?

28. Who are you most comfortable around?
My pets. My parents. My friends.

I really don’t mind getting married or living in sin. XD It would depend entirely on what my partner wanted, I’d do whatever would make them happy.
32. Which celebrities would you have a threesome with?
No one. Guess you could say I’m demisexual.

40. What do you want to do after high school?
Absolutely nothing bc I’m a dropout. XD Be a completely self-taught author, hopefully.
42. If your being extremely quiet what does it mean?
Online, I’m probably just really tired and don’t have the energy to be upbeat and/or talk to people. In real life, it’s nothing abnormal; I hate my voice so I don’t talk much and I like quiet. If I’m not using a bunch of emojis (you know how I normally do) when I’m talking, you know I’m either being super serious, or I’m pissed off, or both.

Bird by Crystal Chan.
122.Are you mean?
I think I definitely can be very cutting when I lose my temper. But I haven’t done that in years now and I try very hard to be a good person. Luckily my first reaction is normally hurt, so by the time the anger kicks in I normally try and get out of the situation before I can say something harsh.
124.Can you keep white shoes clean?
NOPE. I can never keep anything clean, probably why I like dark colours so much. I literally do not own any white clothes anymore because they always get stained within a few hours of me wearing them asdfghjkl. 😅
126.Do you believe in true love?
Kind of. I believe that no relationship is ever perfect, but if people gel well and COMMUNICATE OFTEN AND HONESTLY the relationship can be amazing. I guess it’s its own kind of perfect relationship. I definitely think there’s people you get along brilliantly with, better than anyone else. There’s somebody in the world for everyone! :D

Pisces!! I definitely think I’ve grown into it over time. X’D

??? depends on whether I like them back or not, obviously. If I do, I’ll probably scream for a solid week and then decide if I want to drag them into my mountain of bullshit with a relationship, or leave it be. If I don’t, let them down as gently as I can. Also I’m a raging bi, so gender wouldn’t matter. :P
134.Favourite lyrics right now?
My all-time favourite lyrics are from The Judge by Twenty one Pilots:
“When the leader of the bad guys sangSomething soft and soaked in painI heard the echo from his secret hideawayHe must’ve forgot to close his doorAs he cranked out those dismal chordsAnd his four walls declared him insane”
136.Dumbest lie you ever told?

__________
3 months later…
Kori’s eyes slowly opened. Right away she was regretting waking up before Charlee made a peep. Richard was out of town filming with Rob, which meant a quiet weekend. Turning on her side, Kori snuggled her face into Richard’s pillow. Breathing in his cologne she wished he could have been at home with her. Since Richard had proposed their love life was back to steamy and hot.
Charlee squealing “mommy” at the top of her lungs blocked any thought Kori had about sending Richard a risque text message to wake up to. Getting out of bed Kori walked into Charlee’s room smiling at the baby who was sitting chewing on her hand.
“Charlee just because your daddy isn’t home that doesn’t mean wake up at 7am.”
Charlee gave her mother a smile before going back to her toy. Kori smiled at how much Charlee’s expressions looked like Richard’s. As Kori went to pick Charlee up a wave of nausea wash over her. Kori froze, putting her hand on the sides of Charlee’s crib.
“Mommy?”
Charlee questioned when looking up at her mother. Kori squinted her eyes closed for a moment until the wave of sickness washed away.
“Mommy is okay.”
She said softly this time picking her daughter up. Kori was deep in thought as she walked into the living room praying that she wasn’t getting sick. Placing Charlee in her high chair and giving the baby some cheerios to play with Kori was internally thinking about all of the sick people that she had been around in the past few days. The night before she had went out to dinner with Ruth, Misha, Jensen. Everyone seemed fine to her.
“What on earth could it be?”
Kori questioned before her phone buzzed. Putting the thoughts of the morning’s misadventures Kori looked down to see a text from the pharmacy saying that her birth control was ready for pick up. Kori froze. Thinking back over the past few months her hand went to her mouth.
“Oh shit! Shit! Shit!”
Kori quickly picked up her cell phone dialing Ruth’s phone number. Tapping her foot she anxiously waited until Ruth’s voice answered softly.
“Hello?”
She said pleasantly. Kori took a breath.
“Ruth! Oh my good I need your help!”
Kori all but yelled out. She could visualize Ruth jumping away from the phone while holding a cup of orange juice.
“Kori honey what is wrong? What do you need?”
Kori tried to breath a moment before speaking.
“Ruth I need you to go to Walgreen’s and buy one of every pregnancy test they have and come over here.”
Ruth was quiet a moment before finally speaking.
“Kori are you? Again?”
Kori breathed.
“I don’t know. I haven’t been taking my pills. After all this stuff with Mackenzie then Rich and I getting engaged I have just forgotten to take it.”
Ruth quickly responded.
“I’ll be there in half an hour.”
Kori paced the living room floor until Ruth walked in the door with a bag full of pregnancy tests. Ruth smiled a wide smile before shutting the door and looking around the room.
“Is Richard here? Does he know?”
Kori shook her head.
“Ha! No! He has no idea. I want to make sure that I am knocked up before I go and tell him.”
Ruth nodded as she walked over to the high chair where Charlee was still munching on her Cheerios.
“Hello precious! Want to come see aunty Ruth??”
Charlee looked at Ruth a moment, gave her a little grin, and went back to eating her Cheerios. Ruth went to take one of the Cheerios hoping to get the baby’s attention. Instead, Charlee looked at her offended and took the Cheerio away before shoving it in her mouth.
“Well fine then.”
Ruth said before reaching out and kissing the baby’s messy curls. Kori watched with a smile.
“Good luck getting food from her. She is like her daddy there too. She isn’t good at sharing.”
Ruth twirled a strand of her red hair around her finger.
“Well she may have a little playmate soon.”
Kori made a whining sound before taking the bag of tests and heading to the bathroom. Ruth went back to Charlee taking the baby out of the high chair.
“All right mini Richard I am getting your attention. Aunty has missed you!”
Charlee watched Ruth a moment before looking around the room.
“Dada?”
Ruth sighed.
“He isn’t here! You are stuck with your mother and I.”
30 minutes and 10 tests later Kori sat looking at nothing but a bunch of positives. Ruth sat resembling how she looked the day that she went engagement ring shopping with Richard.
“Kori, honey, let’s face it you are pregnant.”
Kori shook her head.
“I have 5 more tests to do.”
Ruth groaned.
“You and Richard are so perfect for each other. You are both so damn indecisive sometimes. What is the big deal if you are pregnant? You were both so excited when it came to Charlee.”
Charlee looked up from the blocks that she was playing with.
“Me.”
She squealed happily. Both Kori and Ruth watched her with a smile. Kori ran a hand through her hair before looking back to her best friend.
“Richard and I both decided we didn’t want anymore kids. He said he didn’t want anymore period.”
Ruth shrugged.
“Oh well. A little too late to get his panties in a wad now. Sweetheart, Richard is over the moon for you. Everything will be fine.”
Before Kori could respond the front door opened and Rob walked in with a smile. Both Kori and Ruth made a mad dash to cover the pregnancy tests. Rob raised an eyebrow at them jumping up so fast.
“Uh hello.”
Kori smiled, looking behind Rob.
“Robbie is Richard with you?”
Rob shook his head.
“Nah I had to come back to get something I left at home and he asked me to drop by and check on you all.”
Kori smiled, a little too zealously.
“We are great! Charlee is great too! We are all kinds of great!”
Rob blinked a few times before picking Charlee up.
“Uh yeah….Kori are those pregnancy tests?”
Kori looked behind her realizing that her master plan was ruined. She looked back to Rob who was smiling innocently. Damn Rob and his sweet lovable face!
“Um yes. They are.”
Rob, like Ruth was quiet a moment.
“Are you pregnant? Richard didn’t say anything about you two trying again.
Kori sighed, putting her hand over her face.
“He doesn’t know and yes I am. So Robbie are you in for round two?”
Rob’s whole face went white as he sat Charlee down to pace around the room. His mind went back to the day that Charlee was born and how that was one of the most stressful days of his life.
“Hey I said that you and Rich would have to count me out this time. Charlee’s grand arrival about finished me. Look at her! She is smirking at me! She remembers what she did!”
Kori glanced over at Charlee, who was giving Rob the most evil little smile imaginable.
“That is exactly it Rob. Do not tell Richard! Whatever you happens do not let him have any clue.”
Rob swallowed.
“But he knows when I am hiding stuff.”
Kori shook her head as she walked over hugging Rob. The poor man looked ready to panic.
“Be an actor!”
The following week was slow for the most part. Kori was busy fighting morning sickness and feeling like a nervous wreck. When Richard called she tried to act as though nothing was wrong. Sure enough, just like Rob said, he picked up on something.
“Sugar what is wrong? You sound off.”
Kori winced.
“Uh just tired. Charlee is teething. You know how much fun that is.”
The day Richard came home, Kori was thankful that she had felt decent most of the morning. So far everything was going smoothly. Rob had kept his word and hadn’t said anything.  Kori made a mental note to thank the man later.
“Sugar, I’m home.”
Kori smiled at the sound of Richard’s voice.
“Bedroom”
She called back. Kori was still figuring out how she was going to tell Richard about the whole baby on the way thing.
Richard’s arms wrapping around her waist pulled Kori from her thoughts.
“In the bedroom for a certain reason?”
Richard asked pressing a series of kisses down Kori’s neck. She whimpered as Richard’s hand went up the dress she was wearing and squeezed her thigh.
“Well I was folding your daughter’s clothes but if you had something else in mind I’m down.”
Richard chuckled, looking over his shoulder.
“Where is Charlee?”
Kori motioned to her bedroom.
“Taking a nap. We have time.”
Richard quickly walked over closing the door before returning back to his fiance. Pressing her against the wall he reached for the hem of Kori’s dress pulling it over her head in one motion.
“Let’s see if your dad can keep her tonight. I can’t work well on baby time.”
Kori pulled him back into a kiss to hold in any comments on babies. Tugging at Richard’s belt, Kori was more concerned about getting his clothes off and having Richard inside of her as quickly as possible.
“Are you that horny Rich?”
Richard nodded.
“I haven’t seen you in a week. I want whats mine. I’ve been stuck with Rob and his baby fever.”
Kori froze.
“W-what?”
Richard rolled his eyes.
“I think we have given Rob baby fever. All he has talked about the past few days was babies. Like holy hell I was even scratching my head. I didn’t think Rob wanted anymore kids.”
Kori blinked mentally taking back Rob’s thank you cake that she was going to bake him.
“You never know.”
She replied as Richard picked her up carrying her to their bed. Quickly undressing Richard had Kori back in his arms. Kori tried to push the thoughts of what was happening out of her mind and focus on Richard’s hands that were going further south. She cried out the moment his fingers brushed over her clit.
“How many times have you touched yourself since I have been gone?”
He asked with a devious smile. Kori rocked her hips against his hand.
“A couple. It isn’t the same as you.”
Richard looked like someone had handed him a grand prize as he went back to his assault on Kori’s body. Kori tried her hardest not to let her anxiety ruin their moment. Richard eventuality picked up on her lack on enthusiasm that seemed to instantly hit.
“Kori what’s wrong?”
Kori swallowed.
“Nothing baby.”
Richard sighed before coming back up to his side of the bed. He reached out stroking his fingers over Kori’s arms and down her chest
“And I wasn’t born yesterday. What’s wrong honey?”
Kori swallowed trying to think of the most gentle way to tell him How as he going to react? She knew he was too good of a man to leave her but she also didn’t want to deal with how moody he could get. Taking a breath she finally let her secret go.
“Richard, you’re going to be a daddy again.” _______
