Every time pale skin is burned on the plains of America it’s a reminder that land is not to be stolen but to be earned. Earned through thousands of years of love and sweat, thickening the skin to the suns abrasive rays. Nature fighting back in her own passive way.

I miss the utter desolation of Northeastern Colorado and Western Nebraska. I’ve never felt or experienced anything like it before or after. Need to feel it again soon, probably this February.

I love how either this person started recording because there was a double rainbow and got distracted by the adorable bison, or they were recording adorable bison and the rainbow was just like, there
Either way, there's too much beauty in this video to focus on just one thing

Art style: Van Gogh ex: Starry Night
Second Door On The Right
Green woven stocks of corn and prairie grass form a horse shoe shaped frame around a grand door. The occasional yellow and white flower bears its head in the waves of green, green like the crop has never known fall, only the spring. The door is wooden painted a cauliflower blue, the color vibrant but its age shows in wear. At the top of the door there is a port protected by metal bars in a hash shape, you get the sense that it’s not a matter of protection but one of not having glass at one’s disposal. The door handle is made of the same metal as the window, polished over centuries of human touch.
Room 2
The door opens on two hinges,to less of a room more of a clearing in the trees. The terrain is that of the Grent Plains, past the trunks of the ancient trees you can see waving tall grass moving like the ocean itself. The trees you’re surrounded by make up one of the sparse communes Of trees on the plain, underfoot is moss, thicK and dark. Mushrooms and fallen trees grace The ground and so do your feet, bare, unapologetic. Beyond the trees you can make out large figures moving through the grass on all fours long wispy tails following in their wake. There is a calm to this place one that you absorb through your skin and finds a place in your heart. The only noise that carries over the land is the singing of the wind, singing that moves the grass in all directions, strong yet gentle.
Character 2
Ahead of you in the clearing lays a black house cat about as tall as two dressers stacked on top of one another. The cat opens a single eye to see who has opened her curious blue door. The green of her eye looks not through you but into you yet, she dose not judge she just observes. She raises her head and opens her mouth
«Salute humain c’est la première fois que je tu vois. je suis le gaurd de cette porte, si elle tu a accepté je suppose que je vais fo la même »
You respond «Merci madame mais, je ne veux pas marche sur ce monde de votre. Franchement je voudrais parler avec vous, j’ai une question. C’est le même question que je pose avec la roi de les vers»
She looked on with a quizzical glint in her eyes «Ainsi soit-il,posé ton question.»
«Ça vous rend triste que vous ne soyez pas réel?»
She too, like the king faltered but she bounced back faster with a response.
« Si je pleurais chaque fois que je me rappelais que je ne suis pas réel, la plaine était inondée. J’adore la plaine, j’adore ma vie bien que ce soit faux »
You take a moment to mull that over in your mind, flipping her words around in your head like an unknown coin feeling its ridges and determining it value. At last you emerge from your cloud of thought and determine that the coin is worth more than you’ll ever know, you’ll hold on to it just in case you come upon hard times. You thank the cat for her riches whether confusing or not, you step back through the door and into the stark white hall once again. Staring at the woven anatomy of the door frame and it’s speckling of flowers you realize that of course a creature of such wisdom has to guard the this beauty.
