Mercy - Archfey Patron Warlock! She is actually the strongest of her sisters, and in the lore I wrote for her, her pact is actually meant to control her rather than be used for power. She's actually much stronger without the pact, but her deal with this very powerful archfey is meant to keep her under control. Since, while it restrains Mercy's power, it also helps restrain The Urge in the process. The pact will be nullified when Mercy rids herself of that urge, and will be free to use her true power as she wishes. In essence... a very atypical warlock pact.

Azure - Necromancy Wizard! Azure is very studious, and has been wanting to gain power from literally anything else other than from "Father". Thus, study and the Weave. She chose necromancy also mostly out of spite.

Narah - Way of Shadow Monk! Hers is... the creepiest, honestly. She dislikes weapons "getting in the way" of what she does, both in and out of battle, preferring destruction with her bare hands. Thus- the monk class, and the Shadow subclass to better sneak up on her enemies and fill them with fear. Plus, she appears more harmless not carrying any weaponry, which she very much uses to her advantage. So... scheming reasons and also murder reasons.

Natari - Storm Sorcerer! She fully embraces any and all "blessings" of Father, and this was the class given to her by Him. She relishes in the source, and the destruction it brings. Natari herself is akin to a powerful storm anyway- intense, very destructive, and very deadly. Minthara is the only one in the eye of that storm; all others end up caught in that carnage.

because Amist Memoriam wasn't an ally, the royal siblings were (and even then, technically only Vizerxa. the other two didn't join willingly); After the three died, Phoenix became a stand-in ruler while trying to find more distantly related Mortems since every Royal Family has a few different branches. If Amist Memoriam stayed standing, there was a possibility of either Lucidi or Vizerxa escaping Light Song long enough to rally Amist Memoriam & officially declare war. Amist Memoriam is a highly important place for the Celestial Pantheon, which is/was stronger than the Fallen, so the Celestials actually trying would be very bad for Light Song's plans :3

Geoffrey / Kieran C-A Support (PoR Lost Supports #18)

This is an original support written by me, not a translation.

Are backwards references to a new game in an old game possible? I think they are if you’re Kieran!

Besides doing something goofy like a newer game reference, on a serious note, I wanted this support convo set to explain how Kieran becomes sub-commander of the Crimean Royal Knights. It wasn’t a surprise exactly that he’s the sub-commander in RD, since he’s a platoon captain in PoR, but… it wasn’t transitioned into, either. So I aimed to bridge the gap a bit!

These two were really fun to write together. Kieran’s energy and Geoffrey’s stiff professionalism meshed surprisingly well. Their zeal for job gives them a lot in common despite having such different demeanors.

Kieran: General Geoffrey! You’re here! So I was not dreaming when I saw the Princess speaking to someone with light blue hair! Oh, this is the happiest day of my life!

Geoffrey: I’m flattered to know that I am with you on the happiest day of your life. Her Highness told me all about how hard you have been working. I want to thank you again for helping take care of her in my absence. You have proven yourself time and time again as the ideal Crimean Knight.

Kieran: Your words make my heart swell with pride and joy, General! But say no more. It’s not necessary. To see the Princess alive and well is all a Crimean Royal Knight needs.

Geoffrey: I know how you feel, but you’ve earned all the praise in the world, and you should hear it.

Kieran: Your kindness is almost too much for me! I just might faint!

Geoffrey: Ummm… Please don’t. Knowing your luck, you’d probably fall on your axe.

Kieran: If it is for your sake, my general, then all wounds are but merely a scratch.

Geoffrey: I know well of your tenacity. Especially because you’ll never let me forget the time you slew the… what was it… Risen from a future world?

Kieran: Oh yes, what a tale that is! Ah, it was such a clear, perfect day, just like this one. I was out shopping at the market, when suddenly-

Geoffrey: I-Indeed. I already know the story quite well. You’ve no reason to exhaust yourself telling it. Instead, I’d like you to show me how much stronger you have gotten. That is, if you are you up for a spar.

Kieran: Ah, but it has been a close call every time! There is never a true victor in our bouts of strength. You are still the great general I have always admired, who stands as a god among men!

Geoffrey: Thank you for your devotion, as always. Seeing how far you have come… Perhaps it is time that I should tell you.

Kieran: Hm? You need me for something? Anything! For you, I would allow Daein soldiers to pick the hairs off my head one-by-one!

Geoffrey: Yes, I know that you would. But that’s not what I need from you today.

Kieran: Than what is it?! Ah, at this rate, forget the Daeins, it’s the suspense that will make the hair fall out of my head!!

Geoffrey: Don’t fret, I’ll tell you right now. …I want to start training you to become the new sub-commander of the Royal Knights.

Kieran: Yes! Certainly! Let’s get started right awa- wait, what!? General! You can’t be serious! This is a grave decision! Are you sure that you want to make it so quickly!?

Geoffrey: One hundred percent sure. You have been the top pick for a long time now. Yes, many of our superiors were skeptical at first due to your nearly uncontrollable energy, but as you proved your fighting skill and devotion to Crimea time and time again, the decision became unanimous. You are the best soldier in all of Crimea fit for the position. It’s just… we didn’t expect anything to happen the previous sub-commander so soon, so there was no reason to make anything public until now…

Kieran: …

Geoffrey: If you need time to think it over, we still have plenty of it. Nothing official needs to be decided until the war is over and things have settled down again.

Kieran: …

Geoffrey: I-If you need me to, I’ll leave you alone-

Kieran: Eeeeeeeeee-yeeeeeeaaaaaaaah! My glorious homeland! My sweet, sweet Crimea! The greatest place that could ever exist! I shall serve you until the day the enemy rips my still beating heart out of my chest!

Geoffrey: Ouch, my ears… And he’s gone… I think I broke him… but at least I got an answer, and it was yes. I think.

Kieran / Geoffrey A Support

Geoffrey: …May I enter, Captain? I have more to discuss with you about your new position.

Kieran: Yes! Of course! Stay for as long as you’d like. Would you like some tea? The tea leaves were grown by my parents themselves. Surely you will find no greater aroma in all of Tellius!

Geoffrey: You’re right, it does smell heavenly. I’ll have a cup.

Kieran: Here you are! An extra large serving in my favorite cup, for my favorite general!

Geoffrey: Ahhh… thank you. It’s just what I needed right now. …slurp… But why are you in your tent? I didn’t think that you even slept in here. You’re always on the training grounds.

Kieran: I do indeed spend many a night asleep on the training grounds! But I was actually… preparing something for you.

Geoffrey: Hmm? What is it? I had no clue that you had something for me.

Kieran: Well, it would be no present if it wasn’t a surprise! Here you are!

Geoffrey: That’s true. ……The way you’re staring at me leads me to believe that you want me to open it right now.

Kieran: Yes! I can’t wait any longer for you to see it!

Geoffrey: Then I shall. ……This is… a badge of the Royal Knights? But it’s not yours, so where did you get it… ah.

Kieran: When I realized that we had lost the battle while we were trying to escort the Princess to Gallia, I saw it on the ground, and picked it up without thinking. It’s that moment that made me vulnerable and got me captured, but… to have something to remember my fallen comrades by, life in a Daein prison was a joy! My only regret was that I could not grab more…

Geoffrey: Wow… so it’s the one thing we have to remember the men we lost on that day… knowing that, this becomes one of the most valuable things I have ever seen. But… are you sure that you want to give this to me? The fifth platoon is more yours than mine. You trained and led them directly.

Kieran: Worry not about me! I have already planned a grand party to have in their memory, once the war is won and we return home! Besides, it’s the only thing that can truly express what a perfect general you are.

Geoffrey: You flatter me too much, Captain. I am but one man, one who has no favor with the other nobles, and virtually no influence over Crimea’s affairs.

Kieran: Nay, no one could ever admire you enough! When everyone else scoffed at my demeanor, you were the one who saw the value in me. We rode through the storms of life together, and now I can bring glory to Crimea, and bask in the honor that comes from serving and moving up the ranks in the army. It is to you that I owe everything. I could do everything imaginable for you, and would still feel that it was inadequate!

Geoffrey: Thank you so much, Captain… no, Kieran. You may be loud, to say the least, but I am never down when you are around. So long as you are there, I will be able to keep fighting until I take my final breath, and maybe even get through the thick skulls of the nobles one day. …Well, that’s a long shot, but still.

Kieran: Never fear, you have a long life and many chances ahead of you! Let us drink to our future together as great knights of the greatest country of Tellius! Cheers!

@harleyquilt I'm a conflicted with this ending! I don't know whether to feel relieved or tensed, happy or sad. And for a single moment, I almost felt sympathy towards kaneki but NO, he had to fuck it up by being an even BIGGER prick, didn't he? This was a great finale to an amazing series I very much enjoyed reading and if there ever is a sequel, I will be thoroughly excited to read that too. Great work!

@ghoulsxcoffee Oh my god. I finally found a moment to sit down and read this! So many emotions. Ahhhhhh! I’m going to be honest and say that I was a bit sad that Touka choose Nishiki over Kaneki and Nishiki choose Touka over Kimi. I felt so bad for Ken when Touka and Nishiki left Cochlea hand in hand. It is a Nishitou fic after all. Also, that moment Ren called out “papa” to Nishiki I was filled with so much happiness! I knew Nishiki would be a great father. That ending though, are you hinting at a sequel? If so, I can’t freaking wait! Thank you for writing this fic. You filled up my days with an amazing story and although it didn’t end how I had hoped it would I still fully enjoyed it! Please write more!

Hehe, I knew for some people who have been with the series would have some conflicting feelings because of Kaneki and Kimi. Kaneki really went past the point of forgiveness for Touka, but because of their history, I wanted to show she still loved him and she always would. With Kimi, Nishiki was torn, there was a strong part of him that wanted to go back to her, but he chose Touka. They chose each other because they had formed a bond together from those years they were separated from Kaneki and Kimi, they did start a physical relationship to distract themselves from that pain and through that they found they had deeper feelings for one another and let themselves accept that. They had both let go of happiness before, why risk giving up on their new found happiness together? But that love for Kaneki and Kimi still lingers, it always will and that would be explored in the sequel. Sorry, I rambled there, but I just have a lot of feelings for Touka and Nishiki in this fic lol. And Nishiki is definitely a great dad, very hands on for everything, whatever Ren wants Nishiki gets him and he’s always doing things with him... he very much loves Ren as if he was his own. They are definitely very happy and I’m glad you were happy about it too! :D I’m planning on a sequel, I don’t know if I will actually do it and if I do it won’t be for a while since I need a break from series/multichapter fics. I’ll do headcanons about it though! Thank you for reading! You are too kind! <3

I feel a little bad for Kaneki, but there are consequences to his actions...and towards the end I wanted to show there’s still a hint of selfishness in him. So, Touka did good in picking Nishiki and Nishiki picking her too. :’D I plan on doing more headcanons about Nishitou because I’m still all about them. AHHH! I love you for this! You’re amazing!!

@touken-is-killing-me GAAAHHHHHHHHHH! I don’t even know where to begin! I thought Nishiki, seriously, I thought he would go back and get Kimi. After the recent chapter, it made sense that he would be shocked to find out Kimi’s working with the CCG. But when Nishiki arrived and Ren (a very cute name by the way, hi Yomo) called him papa I EFFIN SCREAMED. That was just so cute! I was smiling the whole time. And THEY ARE HAVING A BABY! I am crying! 😭 😭

And Kaneki as director, that was a plot twist! I wonder what the plan is? Hmmmm

But anyway, I am so emotional right now, I SUPER LOVE THIS! Thank you so much! I can’t believe this is the end!

Nishiki was definitely tempted to go back to Kimi, but he knew what a good thing he had already with Touka, he didn’t want to give that up because of his past. And it was a lot of fun writing that scene with Nishiki and Ren. They’re so cute. And yep, Nishiki and Touka decided to have more kids...he’s really excited about it. ^_^

Haha, dun dun DUN! Kaneki’s running the show at the CCG...everyone is under his control and they’re all loyal to him, so, he feels pretty powerful right now. He definitely is scheming something.

@vixxsin-weeb This was such a bittersweet ending! I’ve been rooting for Nishitou this whole time and am so glad they were able to build their own family. I just couldn’t help but want to pat Kaneki’s shoulder when Touka ran away from him in Cochlea.

Well that was a wild ride!

I have to say that you have crafted a very interesting story here. While I personally don’t like romantic!nishitou (more of a fwb girl for them, myself) I really did enjoy their chemistry and support of one another throughout the fic. They were never forced each other to abandon their feelings for “the one that got away” but doing this led to a stronger connection between the both of them. I understand why they both chose each other in the end. I also liked the touch of Ken staying away and keeping tabs of them to make sure of them to make sure they were safe and happy with his son. His redemption, I imagine.

Thanks for contributing this fic to the fandom, Sophia! It was a pleasure to watch it unfold from start to finish.

I feel like the best fics are always the controversial ones :p. The ones that makes you question both yourself and the characters. I think you’ve made something like that here.
