- So as we all know, Tyler is a certified worrier.

- And douchebag (sorry man, still love you)

- But he's very protective of the people he cares about, which luckily includes you.

- Which is why, after you tagged along to Savannah and went to the phantom world with him and everyone else, he panicked hardcore.

- Essentially his entire world came crashing down after he realized he could lose you and his sister.

- But the absolute best part: You didn't even know he liked you. He actually actively avoided you in the real world.

- A lot of times when others or you would point out how he's oddly protective of you, he brushes it off saying he's protective of everyone (We all know thats a lie.)

- And eventually everyone decides to just let it play out, and see what happens.

- After he dies in the phantom realm and wakes up in the hospital, he panics because thats when he realizes he can lose you too.

- After Aiden almost dies however, Tyler doubles down. He becomes more protective of you and Taylor, and eventually panic confesses to you.

- You are so astounded when he confesses because y'all like just woke up after Aiden died and he's like "I'm in love with you.", it's kinda bonkers.

Aiden -

- ??huh??

- I personally don't think he's the kinda guy to get embarrassed or anything around his crush whatsoever.

- Like the second he figured out he liked you, he just said it. And then y'all started dating

- However this does mean he doesn't leave you alone really ever, phantom realm or not.

- But honestly that's not too crazy, he's sweet about it.

- But he does worry about you a lot more now, and tries to keep an eye on you at all times. but obviously sometimes that just can't happen.

- But similar to Tyler, after both him and Tyler die, he worries about you so much more, to the point where it's slightly obsessive.

- Like he continues his irrational and lowkey crazy exterior, but he worries about you internally.

- He still cares though, and at least you've known it since the beginning

Hosea made a habit of holding Dutch's hand, patting his shoulder, squeezing his knee — because he took notice that those gestures would calm him. It came so naturally that he doesn't notice until Dutch is clinging back, silently pleading that he doesn't let go. He promises to never do that to him.

Dutch was easily rattled by how aggressive Hosea would act toward strangers. Nothing dramatic, but he definitely would've frowned and looked at Hosea with this saddening expression forming into his eyes. It was what strived Hosea to be better. He never wanted Dutch to look at him like that ever again.

If they ran low on money, Hosea was the one to cater to Dutch. Even if Dutch always would say “nono dont” he would anyway. Hosea would let him eat extras, would make sure he got enough rest, got a bath. So on, so forth. I think Hosea was a big worrier but masked that, it just slipped through his actions.

Hosea didn't actually ever cry until a robbery went wrong and it ended up in not him, but Dutch getting badly injured. It's not until they're safe and Dutch is patched up, and resting somewhat easily, that he finally crumbles and sobs. ( so so so badly want to write a fic like thst but im currently writing one now so that's not obviously not the greatest idea lol )

Always felt like Hosea was the more rowdy one. Idk I cannot explain it. Just how he spoke about his past in-game, gives hints to “yeah i was a lot back then lol”. So, maybe back then it was Dutch who had to drag them out of the ruins.

Honestly it’s so easy to take naps while he’s working on things, those arms are quite literally pillows.

But at home? Oh my god, he’s like him stuck to your hair on a hot day

He will drop that persona and just simply attach himself to you and the nearest piece of furniture.

He will kiss you up and want to lay in bed so he’s fully on you

Sometimes he will fall asleep on you entirely, and he will wake up in the middle of the night panicking thinking he’s hurt you with his huge body

He’s honestly such a worrier with you, he just wants you to be happy with him, so sometimes he will overanalyze every aspect of his relationship and you can see the gears turning everytime

Thats when you’ll reassure him and let him know he’s doing great, that he’s an amazing man who should not feel as if you are going to leave him. That simply won’t happen.

He also loved it when you take care of him, mostly bc he’s neglecting himself and it feels good to have someone do that for you u know?

If you give him a massage after a particular long day or tend to his wounds if he’s injured

He will just look at you with these loving glazed eyes and he will just melt under your touch

He acts tough but inside he’s like melted butter, softest guy you will ever meet.

He’s actually so emotional, he’s just good at hiding it

So if you guys argue, he’s upset and will look cranky at work

Once he gets home he sees you and your cold gaze and he will absolutely beg on his knees for your forgiveness, it makes you feel bad instantly, so you forgive him

All in all, your relationship with him is super stable and loving.

You were a wreck watching this game. Most of the time you were a wreck watching a game, it was hard not to be. It was always different when you had to watch it on your tv though instead of being there in person. Not that you could really do anything if you were there in person but it was just very different for you. You were on edge the whole game because this could be it, the last game of the season if the boys didn’t win and you could feel the tensions rising along with your nerves.

Your eyes always found John when he was on the ice so you definitely didn’t miss the hit to his face and you know with the speed the puck was going that it wasn’t going to be pretty. Now your nerves were through the roof because there was no way his nose wasn’t broken and you weren’t there to take care of him. Yes there were medical professionals for that but it would be hours before you saw him and you were definitely a worrier.

Even though he couldn’t answer his phone because he was still very clearly in the middle of a game, you sent him a bunch of texts telling him to call you as soon as he could. You watched the tv, hoping to see him again at some point and finally you did but the view was not one you liked. His nose was not looking good and there was still a lot of blood.

It felt like ages before the game ended and John was able to call you. “First, I need you to breathe.” His voice came through on the phone, there was no doubt he knew why you were needing to talk. “I’m perfectly fine, I promise.” Perfectly fine, you weren’t sure if getting hit in the face constituted being just fine. “Babe, I’ve been watching the game, That was a lot of blood.” But you knew even if something was wrong he would act like it was fine and you weren’t even there to check it with your own eyes.

John would get home late there was no doubt about that and even though he probably was hoping you’d be long asleep by the time he got home there was no chance that was going to happen, even if you had to drink a whole pot of coffee to stay up. When you heard the sound of the click from the lock of your door you immediately jumped out of bed and went to the door.

“Let me see.” You demanded, still worried as he playfully rolled his eyes at you. “It’s late, why aren’t you asleep? I told you it’s fine, look.” He pointed to his nose which yeah, still was slightly swollen but it wasn’t that bad at all. Definitely would be bruised tomorrow but he was lucky he didn’t break it. “Maybe I was slightly overreacting..” You started and he raised his eyebrows at you. “You think? Now can we please go to bed. I’m exhausted.”

He followed you to your bedroom and you could tell he was tired and in pain but also you could tell he was bummed out about the loss. When you both slipped into the bed you immediately moved in close to him, pressing a kiss to his shoulder. “Don’t overthink either. You were good out there, you’ve been good all season and I couldn’t be prouder of you.” You felt his lips kiss the top of your head. “Thank you, I really needed to hear that.”
