Despite enjoying napping in the sun, a (not so) silly quirk of Az's is that he refuses to sleep around others.

This is because the very night after the traveling mage had revealed that it was actually a curse laid upon their hands, Az had brushed it off and later on fell asleep next to his previous partner. Only to wake up to said partner choking him because they had wanted to be "enlightened" and undid Az's wrappings in his sleep in pursuit of this. Az had left the scissors he used to cut his wrappings that evening on the floor next to the bedroll and well... Az chose to keep his life that night and fled.

So now you will only catch Az sleeping away from everyone else. Usually in a tree or behind a locked door. Sun naps are a rare treat for him now.

I'm really glad to see that quote landed as well as I hoped it would! The rhythm of it stuck in my head for so long - actually, it's very subtle, but I tried to give the way Deepdark performs a rhythmic quality, so his sentences aren't spoken quite like someone would normally.

Ponynatural: Who is What??

Ponies and similar hooven beasts are human, monster, magic, literally anything can be a mortal where gods and deities have certain forms they perfer to take to walk among ponyfolk

Chuck is a donkey, one of the oldest ponyfolk who still walk the earth. first donkey ponies were made in his image just as angels were, but the archangels were his Alicorn Prototypes and subsequent inspo for humans (Lucifer was soooo mad)

Also because Chuck is an ass (easy joke)

Angels in heaven have three forms, vessel, trueform, or god form (the form they take in front of Chuck to appeal to him the most)

Ponies are human. All mortal beings are called ponies no matter what species. There are deer-ponies, zebra-ponies, pegasus-ponies, unicorn-ponies, earth-ponies, ect.

Nephilim are mules. Abominations in the eyes of heaven as an angel got loose and sown the land with those lowly humans. And like in minecraft, a mule can be a culmination of the best of the horse (pony) and the best of a donkey (angel) but are genetically useless. However in supernatural lore, nephil can reproduce with either angel or human which was a devastating amount of Free Will Potential and uncontrolled power.

Nephilim were a mockery of Chuck, they held his image but had too much free will. Leviathans were created by Eve to look like Nephilim as a nice ‘screw you’ to Chuck, but over time they changed and grew more monstrous looking, more teeth, more goop, more alien.

When Anna Milton tore her grace out to live as human, she was born a full mule and gained her wings when her grace was restored. Because she was human she had made herself a soul. Thats right, Anna Milton is a risen nephilim in ponynatural (self made soul + grace)

Castiel rebelled and made himself a halfling soul, though not intentionally, when Jimmy died because of his free will

Halfling souls are compressed True Forms that are molded into a soul adjacent replica. While strange and looked down on, still considered an angel by all accounts.

Leviathan mutations on Cas became permanent as his connection to heaven was severed fully. His muzzle broadened, his tail became long and whiplike, his ears got taller, his feathers melted off, he very much looked like a bastardized god by the time he came out the other side.

Being human left permanent scars, a crushed wing that healed wrong and featherless, an awkward bend in his tail. But he accepted these as part of himself, as a part of being human (eventually. guys ego was SHATTERED)

By season 15, Cas had effectively made himself into an honorary nephilim since he had a soul (sort of) and angelic form/grace (as rough as it was)

ah dear tumblr user, you are very good at looking at things. These are all true. Because he is the offspring of an archangel, he had a create-a-character menu basically with some cosmic options. Jack chose to look like his mother, though his angelic nature could not escape him and he was born an alicorn. But instead of having a plain colored long and thin tail, he has a thick, colorful, and scaly tail like a yellow python (snake in Eden) due to his ties with heaven and Lucifer.

While Jack is a nephilim, I call him a chimera-nephilim since there has never been anyone like him before and he is far more than just a nephilim born of a human and a lower angel. (and also because he rocks)

Which brings us to the true nephilim and star of my discord chats, destiel fanchild oc I made as a joke so people would stop infantilizing Jack Kline as some kind of shitty destiel lovechild baby farthead prop but now I have Lore for, Bon Scott (named after AC/DC frontman because of COURSE) who is just a little guy and looks like a mini Cas. Has yet to grow into nephil features and could easily be passed off as human.

Ok ok so it's a shaking little baby deer of an AU but it is my favorite to think about!

The Basics of the AU in my mind:

Bruce has died because thats the only way he's giving up the cowl.

Cass's first robin (Mallory/Lori) is Steph's bio kid by coincidence. She also becomes cass's first batgirl. I have an idea of a scene were Steph passes the batgirl mantle to Lori.

The second robin is a spunky little girl named Evangeline (Eva). Her backstory is definitely shaky and liable to change but for the most part Cass and Steph end up raising her/looking after her.

some extra information:

- steph is functioning as the “leslie thompkins” (she was the doctor who couldn’t save bruce)

- prior to bruce’s death cass proposed to steph and they post pone the wedding until cass is ready

- babs is oracle

- eva latched onto cass and steph immediately

Idea for a story

well obviousdly theres The Dogdeer Fic but uhhh in terms of fae-centric stuff i do have uh. a few ideas. main 1 is a multi-chapter(maybe) fic based on part of faes topside ending (something about her getting taken in by some family in the commonwealth?) except i dont actually know much of what actually happened bc im avoiding spoilers so all of this could be horrifically inaccurate! so uh take it with a grain of salt lol ill probably edit it when i actually liberate her. also heres some snippets if youre inchrested lol

even if the idea doesnt work uhh just take this as practice for writing fae ok i had fun writing this and im proud of it lol

YOUNG INDUSTRIES (A former rp I did)

Description: Evil guy Seth kidnaps innocents and experiments on them, no one could ever escape.

Lets start with the characters from the Abyss, the Abyss was where the inmates who angered Seth/were dangerous were. there was the upper and lower parts of the Abyss, ill specify what each character was.

Oliver (Green eyed) and Alvirum (demonic). Oliver was to be a sacrifice, but ended up possessed by a young demon, and their souls were bonded. Oliver is mostly in control, although when threatened Alvirun takes over. Olivers mostly sweet but Alviruns mocking. They count as 11. Upper levels of the abyss.

Annie. hahaha fucking shit was she hot- Shes some sort of angelic type being, crossed with a siren. Shes a fucking jerk. I love her. Upper levels.

I loved Rax but he didnt go well with the industries. Condescending but flirty vampiric asshole. he has minor hypnotic powers, too. He got put into the upper abyss for pissing Seth off

Skylar!!! The darling was so sweet, I love him. Some sort of siren, but he was cursed by a cousin to only be able to speak the truth and the whole truth. hes also a sorcerer and knows quite a bit of magic. He probably insulted Seth and got sent down

Zayne. Psychopathic yet human serial killer. Potentially made a deal with the devil. Highly dangerous and his drive for blood outways nearly everything else. Lower abyss, one of the most dangerous.

Ive already got one for Jacob, one of the others in the lower abyss, and Zanthia would be hard to roleplay....

Upper Levels This is the main part of the industries and where the safe inmates are

Abby. I didnt get much done for her, but shes some sort of wood elf and utterly adorable. easily scared and very quiet.

Alyce. Early version of Faye, part demon part human, hangs out with some other dude i forgot the name of... wait nevermind its Haydyn!! she was a killer before being captured and shes rlly bright and bubbly

bored dead inside ghost, friends with Alyce, murdered, sorta goth. tired constantly but hes nice

Celestia. Some kind of human mixed with an eldritch abomination. she cries constantly. shes grey and black and white. tragedy. her voice sounds like multiple people talking on top of each other.

Tethys. Already got an account for her. Sweet little cow girl with abandonment issues. Shes currently staying at @monsterfucker-research-wizards place.

Xander (red) and Shane (blue). Pair of brothers, Xanders the responsible one, Shane is the eternally horny masochist one, twin vampires looking for their baby sister, Evelyn.

Evelyn, 16. Technically from the abyss, but that was just to keep her secret. Been locked in a room all by herself for 10 years. Shes sweet.

Anya, some sort of deer-elf thing. Shes sweet. very shy and helpful, i love her....

Do you have characters or types of characters you don’t think you can handle writing, but wish you could? i think i could do anything if i tried hard enough (hubris speaking) but i would have to become obsessed with them first which is the hard part because i feel like i'm pretty picky

What kind of scenes, situations etc do you believe you enjoy writing the most? i've really gotten back into my complicated sibling relationship era lately. i like non-traditional family relationships in general and having to work to keep that connection alive. i like relationships between women (not necessarily romantic but also yeah i'm a lesbian so romantic too) and the nuances that come with that. Honestly i like talking about gender in general HAHA

Tis Alice! I'm so glad you liked the new fem rdst update and my deer wife drabble!

I was honestly a little nervous about writing Vox the way I did because Vox is very sweet in my deer wife au and my fem Vox is much closer to canon Vox so I'm thrilled you love her! And oh yeah she is way more judgey and conniving than people think she is. I wanted her to have subtle Queen Bee vibes, badass bitch who is used to getting her way.

Also you said the think about it being like wicked and now i think i understand why the soundtrack has been playing in my head all day lol

Okay so I'm really fucking happy you liked the name for the shadow because i was so worried it was lame it's literally Alastor backwards lol i don't write a lot of sick fics but it seemed like a nice setting to try the shadow's POV in cause we get to see it being protective of Vox and also get how Alastor is really feeling.

oh no i totally get why theres a difference between the two! i actually really adore just how varied ur characterization is across aus and how much u take into factor the dispositional factors affecting each character and their inherent personality traits . it makes for such compelling storytelling and universes that really feel like theyre sucking u into them!! also she totally gives off heather chandler vibes i love her go girlboss i support your warcrimes. the w in warcrime is for woman after all 🤗
