Gotta say thanks again for the doodle and the comment (got that song stuck in my head now haha) 😜 Bit curious though about the new doodle post, by action pose do you mean a guns blazing kinda pose? Inferno shifted when he felt Red Alert starting to wake up beside him. Inferno had been awake for a little while and was simply enjoying the warmth of his Conjunx. He watched the other bot slowly come online, and smiled when Red Alert gave a bleary yawn. The little dork always looked like a frightened prowler when he first woke up.

“Morning gorgeous,” Inferno said with a smirk.

Red Alert cycled his optics, and when they finally landed on Inferno, Red Alert gave a sheepish smile and said a soft, “Hey.”

Inferno leaned in and brushed their noses together, making Red Alert chuckle, “I’d, uh, offer you some breakfast, but I think I’m too sore to move.”

Red Alert suddenly looked alarmed, “Oh, Primus, I didn’t hurt you did I?”

Inferno carefully rolled onto his back and said with a shrug, “Not really.”

Red Alert sat upright, “Not ‘really’? That means I did! Oh no should I call Ratchet or or–”

“Babe, babe,” he cooed and pulled Red Alert down until their chassis’ touched. “It’s not that bad. I’m just sore. You went at me like a rogue combaticon last night. Pit, I even encouraged it!”

Red Alert didn’t look convinced, so Inferno continued with a laugh, “Babe. I’m fine. I promise. Just lay with me a bit and I’ll be fine.”

Red Alert was quiet for a minute before laying his head down on Infernos chassis.

“Okay…as long as you’re alright,” he paused then made a sneaky smile, “So…Was it good?”

That made Inferno laugh, “It was the fragging best you dork.”

5: What scars/birthmarks do your OC(s) have?

Thalin has a horizontal scar that begins on his left cheekbone and ends on the bridge of his nose, he also has one that runs from the top to the bottom of his lips, one on the right side of his jaw, a big one that goes across his back (from shoulder to the bottom of his ribs) and a few scattered across his body (mostly on his arms).

Dara has a few tiny ones all over his body but the worst ones are some lighting scars he has on his arms from the first time he ever lost control of his magic.

Adam has a long scar that starts at the bottom of his forehead and stops at his cheek, coupled with a small one right next to it, one that runs across his nose and also a few random + all the moles he has and a p big birthmark that’s a bit darker than his skintone on one of his calves.

Arihs has his eyebrow scar that cuts it in two, a tiny one he got when he was a kid over his upper lip, one that goes from his bottom lip, splits in two and ends on his chin, a lot of smaller scars on his fingers from making arrow heads/other stuff, the scar the anchor left (it goes from his stump, covering it almost completely and thinning out until it reaches his cheek) and a burnt scar from when dorian had to cauterize his stump after bull cut off the dead part of the arm + all the freckles he has

6: Best Laugh?

Thalin’s, it’s a fanfic level laugh, he barely laughs and when he does it makes his chest rumble in a v nice way. plus. dimples

7: Gives the best hugs?

Adam, he has strong beefy arms, he has nice boobs and no matter ur height he will tuck u under his chin and press ur face into his bulging pecs + when he gets older he gains weight so he’s not hard rock muscle from not eating well anymore and that just makes his hugs even better.

Hi! I was wondering if I could ask you something, I noticed that you do a bit of writing and so I read some of your fics (loved the drabbles, especially the mpreg! Red/ferno one Otp :) I was curious, how do you write a fic? (sounds really stupid saying this) I would love to write my own but I can never start one, I'm terrible with this, especially when I had to do literature in college. So I was wondering, how do you get inspiration to write and how do you manage to make a story flow? ^\\\^

Hi there! I hope you don’t mind if I post this publicly. I’m more than happy to answer questions (don’t worry nothing is stupid when you’re talking to this dork~).

I’ve noticed that there are two types of people who like to write. There are some people who think in words. They see the words, they hear them, and they’re able to just slap them on paper and sell bestsellers. If you’re like that, then great! Words, math, and science are probably your best subjects.

For me, though, I see what I want in pictures. As cliché as it is, it almost plays like a movie in my noggin.

Take that Red Alert/Inferno fic you mentioned for example. I see Red Alert being a cute, overprotective, mama and I go ‘Okay. That’s damn cute. Now how can I make people see the same picture I’m seeing?’, and that usually serves as my inspiration. I actually take small ideas and try to write about them. Usually my thoughts for fics are a single sentence or scene in my head, and I just let it play out until I feel it’s done. This is a very natural form of writing than can often work for many people. You write one scene in your head and think ‘okay what next? What could be something that, if this was real, could happen infront of my own eyes, and I could describe it?’

For me, I try to stay as realistic as possible. I think it makes for a more relatable story. Sure I write about space alien robots XD, and that’s as far from real as it gets, but when it comes to character interaction, I personally feel that relationships and dialogue are the heart of any story, and that the heart should be nice and real that way it doesn’t sound like a soap opera lol. This is just my preference of course!

Now you said you wanna write on your own, right? Here’s a tip I find the most useful: don’t aim for a certain length. People see these 30k+ fics and go 'man I wanna write that much! It sounds doable. After all, a real book is so much longer than that!’ but in reality not many of us can just sit and write that much, and those fics usually took the author weeks, maybe more, to get to a word count that high. Getting more than 10k at once can take days for me, and that’s if I’m feeling productive!

What you wanna do is write until your done. Even if you look at the word count and see it’s only 200, don’t try to force it. Think of a scene, write it, and once you’re done you can move on to another scene or just walk away and give yourself a pat on the back. After a while you’ll notice your word count gets higher, the ideas flow a little easier, and that pesky opening sentence gets a little less irritating lol. It’s kinda like drawing! People get better, faster, and more detailed as they progress. Just because it’s a different form of art doesn’t mean that the process is any different. There’s always improvement happening.

You asked how I got inspired, and I kinda already answered in that mess ^^^ somewhere lol, but I wanted to mention that sometimes ideas can be stubborn. They just don’t wanna play nice. I found that taking inspiration from art can help, or you can be a cheater like me and make a sentence generator lol. But however the end goal is achieved, I personally try to stick with small prompts, and just type and let my mind wander. Sometimes if I try to hard I just….blargh and it’s like someone is strangling my creativity lol. If that idea isn’t working out right now, find something new and try that. Sentence starters and meme prompts are great for this because there’s just so many of them out there.

And by the way, you don’t need to post everything you write! Like how some artists don’t show their doodles. Don’t feel obligated to share everything if you don’t want to. Keep it for yourself or save it in a jump drive for you to find EONS after its creation if you happen to be shy about it. I used to be pretty shy. I posted stuff on FF.net often, but there’s a lot of stuff I started, but never really got around to finishing so they stayed in my flash drive, but when I did write something I was proud of I posted it. You’d be surprised how many people actually like my crap from back in the day XD and let me tell you, they were AWFUL. Like misspelled the word senpai as 'sampi’ throughout the ENTIRE fic and either no one noticed or was too polite to care XD. People aren’t as judgmental as you think and plus, who cares?! It’s FANfiction. It’s YOUR story. Write what makes you happy and others will follow. Or they won’t! Either way you have to have fun with it or it becomes a term paper instead of a fun idea.

Sorry this got a tad long! I was just so happy to answer a question I might have gotten carried away~

But in conclusion, don’t try to force a word count or an idea that just doesn’t wanna work, don’t share if you don’t want to, keep your prompts small and just let whatever comes out come out, and soon you’ll find your rhythm and know your limits. Start small, and if it morphs into something bigger, than great! Only stay at 300 words? Also great! Drabbles can be any length~

I hope this helps. Remember, everyone has a different rhythm and manner to how they write. This is just how I slap my nonsense onto paper. You might find an easier way once you really get going. Just remember not to choke your creativity! Let the words and scenes flow out of your brain in whatever manner, THEN go back and edit grammar and sentence structure. Don’t try to do both at once or it’ll interrupt your flow.
