Oh balls COMPLETELY FORGOT. I've not been keeping up with the dataglitch lore, and dont know if this has been spoken of on your blog, so I was curious, if that's alright of me to know: are you a professional artist, and if not, what's your professional field in life? Always super interesting to find brilliant artists that aren't themselves artists by trade

hehehe Actually, I wouldn't have considered myself a pro before, but as of this year, I am officially a professional artist :'D I've managed to not only do various official/unofficial projects, but I've also had 2 covers published, one being for Skybound's Transformers #1 ! I didn't go to school for art at all, so what you see is just me being self-taught :D I would've wanted to have the proper education believe me, but finances and other duties prevented that, but I don't regret the path I took. I'm actually a service writer/manager, so I work with cars on the daily. Not the exact path I was planning back in my day, but I really appreciate it now since it did give me tons of skills that I can use in various industries. So in a way, I have a slight advantage drawing cars/mechanical things since I see it all the time c: Also, one of the reasons I'm super open to helping people out it's because I know the struggle of learning without proper guidance. My schedule is really busy, but I try to give as much help as I can!

My baby daughter got her adorable puffin-print dress absolutely CAKED in mud crawling around the yard and my first thought was "oh no her beautiful dress"

And my second thought was "oh huh it really WOULD be easy to unconsciously steer her away from playing in the dirt. Unlike my son, whose outfits are usually some kind of solid dark easily washed pants plus a shirt that doesn't trail in the dirt like a dress does."

Anyway something something gender roles start getting shoved on kids from literal birth, but with a little time to think about things, YOU TOO can let your children of any gender absolutely destroy their clothes in the dirt pit they're digging in your garden

Probably one of the things I love the most about Momokarun is how they're always in sync with each other, they matched each other's energy and they literally share the same brain cells

don't get me wrong, akihiko yoshida's artwork is beautiful and unique but i really cannot take final fantasy tactics that seriously when everything looks so cute

i was at the cafe this morning and two little kids (clearly encouraged by their mom) walked up to me and asked why i was wearing all black and i said 'its because my favorite color' and the older of the kids' eyes lit up and went 'ME TOO!!!' 🥺

then the younger kid asked why my hair was blue and i said that i liked colorful hair and she was like 'woaaaaa 😱🤯' and then their mom came back with their order to pick them up with a small apology and it was the cutest thing ever 🥺🥺

THAT REMINDS ME i was at the national zoo in dc over the summer and this was the single greatest thing i've ever seen. those are two ruddy quail doves (lovely n nice) who are currently sitting on their nest with their newly hatched child HOWEVER if you know what pigeon babies look like something may seem off here

here's a picture from the zoo of one of the baby ruddy quail doves from a previous clutch for comparison

and THIS little fucker is the zoo's resident adult blue ground dove who is a.) in love with the ruddy quail dove parents and b.) very happy to be participating in nest duty. occasionally you'd see their actual child poke its little head up for food or squeaking from underneath the pile but it was so good
