I'm superstitious about even putting this out in the universe but we're frantically tidying the house and getting all our cat stuff out of storage and giving it a good scrub. We're hoping to apply for a pair of adorably scrungly elderly siblings who've been at the shelter for six months. I am taking photos of my books about cat welfare to show the shelter people because I become irrational in times of stress.

(I am also taking photos of slightly more sensible things like the cat tree and the climbing wall and the drinking fountain and our 1-per-cat-plus-1 litter trays.)

Today was bad. Tomorrow will suck even more. But Saturday. Will be good.
