Headcanon of the day; Cody does not like hugs, and the only person who’s allowed to hug him with no repercussions is Rex. For this reason Fives and Echo continually force him into group hugs just to torture him (however after Echo was rescued and Fives was released from Kamino he {only somewhat begrudgingly} allowed them both to hug him)

Additional reasons why this is funny to me are 1) Lionel is definitely a hugger and would have hugged him a lot on that one mission they were on together, and 2) it makes that snippet scene I wrote where Obi-Wan hugs him before they escape Coruscant all the more interesting bc from Cody’s perspective something has to be REALLY wrong for Obi-Wan Never-Expresses-Emotions Kenobi to immediately run to HIM of all people for a hug.

and his only other option barça is so fucking risky rn 💀 more than anything i want him to get the goodbye he deserves, surrounded by the adoring fans of camp nou, but i don't trust the barça board not to fuck this up somehow, not to mention what may come afterwards if messi, by some miracle, does return (slander from true coolers, him being made the scapegoat for the rest of the team fucking up, and god forbid: the barça induced jinx of him not winning international trophies rearing its ugly head again). i stress about his future so much i should become his agent atp 😭
