The top Dave single was a Christmas present from my bff who lives across the US (I moved, but we’re still super close <3)

The ⭐️Dave/Jack⭐️ singles were made when I was just entering the fandom, and were before I realized it would be my next hyperfixation.

The HenHen single is due to a stupid inside joke with my sibling and is a dumb Miller x Emily joke ship bracelet I throw I them to piss them off (they are horrified by the thought of shipping them)

Mason and Johnny are two Phone-Head OCs, one you’ve seen, and the other is a national park gift shop employee :) he also is sent into the part to rescue lost pets because he is the most expendable.

And the peyote cuff thing that’s super small is the result of me trying to make the aforementioned IPod case but I made it too big :( so I finished it off at the orange layer and it fit like a single.

Edit: also for the case, the stripes/characters in order is the one in the final boss 👍 it’s two rows per, being Jack/Dave/Dee/Peter/Steven (no blackjack 😔)

It's okay, baby. I'm glad you are asking. I might not give perfect answers to these so I would also check comments or reblogs for other answers! I'll also try to link some good articles I found and I recommend people tag some good blogs that fall under these categories. Questions are under the line cause this is a bit long lol

1. Okay, I'm definitely not butch but I hope I can answer some questions. Butch is an important part of lesbian culture that's often viewed as a masculine protector, it's an identity. "Masc," means masculine and can be more viewed as the aesthetic or how someone looks. There's another term called "Stud," which refers to masculine POC (Black, indigenous, Hispanic, etc.) lesbians, and white masculine lesbians can not identify with this identity. But not every POC masculine lesbian will identify with Stud. All of these identities are equally valid and wonderful alongside Femme.

It's always important to just ask what a lesbian identifies and what it might mean to them. (Again anyone can come and add more info to this or correct me on any info.)

2. That girl should not be laughing at you and I'm sorry she did that. "U-Haul" lesbian isn't even really a type of lesbian, it's a stereotype that lesbian tend to move in together quickly. People are all learning many things at different times and you making an effort to learn is what matters. And yes, there's many labels that lesbians can fall under, but don't have to. Types or labels could include butch, femme, stud, and masc, though I personally view pillow princess as more as a sexual term, but I might be wrong about that.

3. Sadly, there's a lot of hate towards lesbians even in the community (POC and masc lesbians especially). Many lesbians are viewed in the stereotype of always moving quickly, moving in and moving on. My own personal relationship is slow moving, a decision mutually agreed upon. I would definitely say that while fanfic and movies is an okay starting place, I learned much more by talking to other people on tumblr, finding posts and articles. You could probably try to find some good educational videos to learn more. That was a lot but I want to say that it's okay to ask questions and to never feel afraid to not know something if you just don't know. You should be allowed to take it slow and anyone that doesn't respect that is an ass. People that laugh at you (maliciously) or make you feel dumb are not good for you. While they aren't obligated to educate you, I think it's important to help baby gays <3

What kind of story is your favourite love story?

I had to think a bit about this one cause 1 I wasn't sure if you meant a romance book or a trope 2 I had to think about what kind of love story I love with all my heart.

So, since I'm still not entirely sure if it’s about a book or a trope, I'll drop both!

The book

This, well, I actually don't know cause they always miss something, but I can still drops one or two titles I really enjoyed.

"Come Anima, Mai" by Rossana Soldano (It's an italian book so I don’t think there’s a english translation, but you basically got this two guys that basically go from enemies to lovers then war arrives and they are separated and they go through hell to get back together)

"the Green Creek saga" by TJ Klune (4 books + 3/4 novellas) (werewolves, soulmates, some kind of politics you can actually understand without understanding real politics, wonderful and heartbreaking bonds, amazing shows of loyalty, bravery and love, what can I say? if you want, go and read it, but check the tags/warning first)

but in general, to me, any book that touches topics like death, trauma (all of them), or anything that can touch your soul, to me that book can be considered about love. Let me give you an example (which I put in a fic I'm writing)

White Fang. (I haven't read this yet, but I read many quotes and stuff about it, so this is simply my personal opinion)

here's the summary from google: "It is about a wolf cub named White Fang and the obstacles he faces from being owned by vicious, abusive people like Beauty Smith, and then rescued and shown kindness by his new owner Weedon Scott, who White Fang comes to love."

Here's two quotes from the book, and based on them I tell you the story is about love. When you find the person that gets you and you can rely on them. When from abuse you find love in someone new and it softens you somehow. When you can be You only with them and they are the only one you consider worthy of seeing you without any filters.

The trope

Surely, it's a bit of a mix of things that I love reading all together (I can't have one without the other😅)

the soulmates trope (or the invisible string theory, or the red thread of destiny or however you know it, to me they are all similiar and beautiful, also each goes with a different culture or a more spefic genre/fandom - I'm counting both books and fanfics)

and a mixture of other stuff I don’t know how they are called in fanfics/books terms of plots and tropes

'to be loved is to be changed' trope (which again, could have many names but I call it like this, yet i can say, more generically speaking, that one trope where only A can help B and viceversa)

following names taken from trends, 'they abandoned you and I collected you like treasure'

So, yeah, basically this is my favorite mix for a good love story. I don't have favorite settings or ages (as in centuries).

But let me tell ya darling, something that I love with my whole heart and that I can actually explain (and that is my absolute top of the top favorite story for a love story) is this:

So, you have these two guys (I usually read gay guys (ships, cause I haven't read a book in a bit too long but let's count it still)) and they have this bond they aren't really aware of, so when one of them is hurt (physically or mentally) the other kinda shows up 'out of nowhere' and sticks around to help them in the most random, 'idk what the fuck im doing' kind of way. Like, maybe A will start read a book or say dumb stuff or fun facts to distract B and viceversa, but the person who's doing the comforting part doesn't really know WHY they feel like they CAN do something that no one else can, like they feel like they are different then others when it comes to the person who's hurt rn.

And as the story goes on and these two idiots takes care of each other in silly ways, they go deeper and deeper into one another, like they start to know their pasts and traumas or childhood dreams and stuff (cause of course, they never really talked before but now that they found comfort and safety in one another, they kinda stick around together just for the pleasure of it). Then something big happens, can be anything, but it happens to one of them (cause the story is about them of course) and the person who's not injured or generally safe freaks the fuck out cause the other person is like on the edge of dying or it's been kidnapped or whatever. So you get this whole man hunt/running against time to save that person and only their 'other half' can manage, somehow (maybe for sheer luck, like they remembered something about the other only he knew), to get to them and bring thme back home.

And so you have the whole 'taking care of badly injured idiot' arc where it's all silly jokes, forced rest and dark times (cause, let's say B, lives something traumatic and has PTSD or nightmares or anything of the kind), all the while, B doesn't want to see anyone in particular apart from A, whom they love but don't know how to tell them cause B is afraid A doesn't love him back (big fat lie). So, in this arc, you get the 'to be loved is to be changed' cause A managed to get B to enjoy people's company or whatever despite what happened.

But I'm not done.

After a while after whatever happened, A and B gets super close but they don't even notice it, it's like dictated by something or someone else, but their emotions also starts to show and so they end up confessing their love in an unexpected way. Maybe, they are eating pasta and out of no where A goes 'yeah you know I love you' or smt similiar, or they go on a trip and somehow one of them planned it all to be a love confession but gets kind of screwed but still manages to make the most out of it (of course after he kinda shows the other what the trip was really about and the other helps them realize it's not about the trip but the company.) and this is your kinda soulmates trope (cant go oddly specific or it wouldn't fit well)

Yet, this is the part where I fucking melt like an ice cream.

Their love isn't physical, I mean, it can be but it's not the top thing in their relationship. There's loyalty, being proud of (pass me the term) 'belonging' to the other, complicity, understanding each other without any words spoken. there's PLATONIC love between them and maybe it leads them to the physical part, but that's not how they define their love. because after all, they've been alone for ages and no one really payed them any mind, leaving them be on their own with worring too much, but then they started showing up in each other’s lives and they saw one another as something spectacular and extraordinary which deserves to be loved and treasured, and they know they'll be the only person to ever do justice to the task.

Like, they go through all sorts of hell together when no one else is there for either of them, so they found out about their damn feelings when death (or smt) is around the corner and finally understand they are meant to be!

+ when platonic love is shown (and how they realize they dont have to be alone anymore cause somebody founds them worthy of love), leaving physical intimacy on the 'second level' of their relationship.

Hi! I read your tags on the aro!LQG post and I wanna talk about it a little if you don't mind? (Disclaimer I'm rlly awkward so if anything sounds rude pls know I don't mean it to be.)

Okay so I feel like when Madam Meiyin talked about SQQ's fated person LQG did think that it was him, because I'm pretty sure no one else knew LBH was still alive by then (cmiiw)? To be fair the traits could be used to describe LQG which is hilarious so it's probably deliberate for comedic effect. When I read about LQG getting more aggravated by Madam Meiyin's prediction, I deadass thought he was just baffled like "why is this random demon telling that I'm SQQ's soulmate??? this is definitely bullshit we shouldn't continue listen to her." and so the rest is history hahah. I had thought it was really funny for LQG to be self-conscious about the prediction and so unhappy about it.

Anyway yeah that's it. Sorry for bothering you I just want to talk :')

first things first, you didn’t bother me at all!! this ask actually made me smile because i don’t engage a lot with the svsss fandom…or just any fandom in general, in discussions so i was happy to see someone reach out to me to just get to talk. second of all, i did a reread of that scene purely to see from a better pov than i did when i first read it and it truly is something.

**what is even more something is how much i write, hence why i put this “keep reading” sign.

the laughable thing about all this is that i genuinely feel like sqq regarding that scene in that … it just did not occur to me that lqg could possibly have been who madam meiyin was talking about. there was not a single brain-cell that considered lqg was thinking along those lines as you said where he was like “what the hell, is this stranger insinuating i’m sqq’s soulmate?”. while sqq didn’t consider any guys at all, in my case, i think i was very biased bc of how much i love bingqiu that any other character who may have an infatuation with our mc just wasn’t in the cards for me.

reading your own interpretation of that scene, i feel dumb now because it just seems so obvious. i said in my tags of that post you mentioned that that prediction can go both ways and madam meiyin’s words can apply to both lqg & lbh, i think.

Oh gosh! It's all such a blur. Generally I try to keep my expectations low so often it's me not expecting things to have done well. Like Orange Blossoms!! I was so pleasantly surprised, since it was something I'd just written for myself as a birthday gift, and it was fun! And it got much more love than I anticipated! Then Collateral Damage...I don't know what I expected, but I wrote it for Ron-Draco Fest in 2021. I was new to fests. New to writing Dron. And I was absolutely blown away by how much love that fic got!

But the one that really sticks with me is Safe and all the shock and horror it got. The initial wave I sorta saw. "I thought I tagged everything, but this part was pretty subtle, so I guess I see it, let me add some extra warnings." But it still got heat from people. I can't tell you the number of times I edited that work, adding more tags and warnings to the A/N and summary, etc. Only when I finally threw "dead dove" on it did it stop, though I can't be sure if it was the dead dove tag or the fact that so much time had passed.

At the end of the day, that story did what I wanted it to do. It was meant to be intense. I wanted people to be impacted by it. To feel that fear and uncertainty. It was designed for maximum impact, so go me? (I really do need thicker skin for a lady so hellbent on tormenting her readers, though 😅)

Sorted related to the previous question, but White Lies and Silver Bells. That's one of few that I didn't manage expectations so well on and sorta hoped would perform better than it actually did. In fairness, the LJ community was very sweet while Hoggywartyxmas was posting, but idk, I think I had been looking forward to sharing it to AO3 so much and it got a more lackluster response. Which is sad cuz I'm quite fond of that one! I finally wrote the foot fetish Snarry I'd been long dreaming of!! Anyway that feels really crummy to admit to, but it is what it is!

Black Skies probably did as well as could be expected, but gosh I was (and still am!) so proud of that one!! That was posted for Blackcest Fest last year. Then Romantic Notions!!!! I really need someone to enjoy the plant porn with me, geez. Where are all my horny kinky friends at???? So yeah as far as secret identity stuff and powers are concerned, Jon is... Struggling 😅 Look he's vewwy tired and a wet cat and everything bullies him okay. Yeah he makes dumb fuckass decisions pretty much always but that's our Jon it's on par for the course!

About other people having mind powers! Well, that's a very good question actually. I don't really plan on having anyone else have that kind of powers because it's really main character energy kinda powers tbh. Plus I like to vary things up. BUT, Elias who is Jon's superhero partner, does have mind abilities in a way. I don't know what they are I'm not fully decided yet but he does Know stuff as well, those kinds of vibes. The difference is he's much older and more skilled than Jon at controlling them. So, it could create a feedback loop, but Elias stops that from happening. However, they have a mental link due to the way their powers are similar, which is yay! Yeehaw! Woo! Love wins forever and always.

Theres also someone else who has that kind of mental abilities, and it's Jordan Kennedy because he's [spoilers]. No okay jk he's like Jason Stryker from Xmen 2. You know, the guy that can get into people's minds and show them illusions/convince them to do what he wants (also tasty spine juice) (i'm thinking his illusions could revolve mostly around crawling ants? He's scared of ants and so it's easier for him to project that fear. Idk.)

With his power... Mh. Well first off I think Jon would be extremely resistant to his abilities because he can still hear all of the other people's thoughts and so that grounds him, make him realise the visions aren't reali🍵. But, as far as interactions go... Jordan might be able to get in his mind and feel other's thoughts through him I guess. But that's pretty much all.

Oh, yeah, also the thing with Jon's powers is that the emotions he feels from other people are dulled, obviously. Or else poor dude's life would be unbearable. It dulls with distance, the strenght of the emotion, whether he touches them or not. When he touches them, it's pretty much 100% of the emotion, which adds a whole new layer of interesting methinks. So like someone stubbing their toe a hundred meters away he can barely feel, a hungry baby in the next room over is very distracting. Point is, if he were to feel the emotions of another mind reader like him, the emotions would get dulled first by the other, then by himself. But then I guess he'd also feel the double of those same emotions directly from the people around. And then the quadruple of them from his buddy getting those from him and projecting them back. Mmmh. That does sound like a bit of a problematic actually, I might use that!!

The second image represents what their powers are, or at least what they pretend they are. Like, Jon as a hero has mind reading and mind control powers, as a civilian he pretends like he has no power (a rather stupid choice I must say, because pretty much everyone has a power otherwise, no matter how silly).

Tim as a civilian says he can see in the dark. His full power, the one he uses as Inferno, is to drain the power out of nearby electronics (Starlight style) and to make fire with it. It also allows him to see in the dark. One drawback of his power is he tends to fry anything electronic around him when he uses his power. Plus, it sometimes activates when he gets big feelings, so... Quite inconvenient.

Are you named after anyone? - Yes, but I don't really feel a connection to my birth name much, so I'd rather talk about my online chosen names! For the name Fallon, I just picked it because I liked the vibes honestly and also after an oc I made when I was really little. And as for the beloved name bestowed unto me, Milk. I made a typo introducing myself ("Gallon") and it stuck 😔<3

Something random: I told a few friends about this already. but. I can't get past it, so you'll hear about it too. So for one of my classes, I had to reread The Hobbit this week. I went for an audiobook version, and for the whole thing I was blown away with how well the guy reading the book was doing the different voices. They sounded just like the movie, I was really impressed by how good he was at it. And then I get to the very last chapter, the very end. And the guy does the usual bits: "This has been The Hobbit, written by JRR Tolkien. READ BY ANDY SERKIS." 10 HOURS of listening to Andy FUCKING Serkis read the THING HE'S FAMOUS FOR to me, and I DIDN'T FUCKING RECOGNISE HIM. I am so disappointed in myself. From now on, I will live in shame.
