Summer wave of COVID-19 cases in Quebec tied to new variants: expert - Published Sept 1, 2024

There was another wave of COVID-19 cases this summer in Quebec, likely driven by variants that — according to early data — are more fatal than previous ones.

Cases, hospitalizations and deaths in Quebec due to COVID-19 have been rising steadily since April.

There were 450 people in hospital in the province with COVID-19 on April 21 — the lowest total for the entire calendar year so far. That number rose to 1,409 on Aug. 26.

More than 2,600 new COVID-19 cases have been reported in the province between Aug. 18-24 — a high not seen since January of this year. There were 292 positive cases between April 14-20.

“There are several metrics to support that there’s definitely COVID rampant activity in the community,” said Dr. Donald Vinh, an infectious diseases specialist at the McGill University Health Centre.

“Every time we see a surge in COVID activity and associated hospitalizations, it always seems to be tied to a new variant. So, it is likely that what we’re seeing now is a result of these new variants, especially the KP3 variants and its descendants, like 3.1, etc.”

“In the emergency room, we’re already at overcapacity across the province, to the point where there are many people coming in who need to be evaluated and hospitalized. However, the amount of space in hospitals is limited or finite. This results in overcapacity and overcrowding in emergency rooms, where people are in structures and hallways. This situation is happening across the province while SARS-CoV-2 activity is increasing.”

“We’re not even at the peak of activity, we are not on the downswing, we are on the peak. It’s hard to know what the trajectory of the SARS-CoV-2 course will be, if it continues to increase for the next few weeks or months, this could actually crumble certain health institutions, particularly emergency rooms and that would compromise their ability to deal with other types of emergencies that can happen in the real world like accidents and heart attacks.”

The overcapacity is causing a major issue for those who desperately need medical attention.

“The bad news is that we’re still seeing people who are getting infected. They’re still getting sick,” said Dr. Vinh. “Those sicknesses can still lead them to require hospitalization, even if they don’t necessarily need artificial means to keep them alive or to support them during their illness. It also leads to things like delays in other therapies.”

“So people who have cancers, who need chemotherapy, or people who need surgery, and are also found to have COVID — the COVID-positive status or the COVID infection in those people still lead to morbidity for their problems, right, for their underlying conditions.”

Dr. Vinh feels clinics could be threatened.

“These outpatient clinics, which are not associated with emergency rooms or hospitals, also operate within a fragile system,” he said. “A reduction in capacity at these clinics would compromise the care of other patients. It’s important to remember that SARS-CoV-2 does not function in isolation. As a preventable disease, minimizing its impact can allow the health-care system to function better for other diseases. However, if preventable diseases are not addressed, the health-care system will be further threatened.”

COVID-19 has been the cause of 38 deaths in the province between Aug. 18-24, bringing the total number of deaths in the province to 117 this month, and 748 this year.

“Provincial data in which the death is directly attributable to SARS-CoV-2 or COVID-19 infection, that’s not going down. That’s actually at a level that’s in between what we saw a few years ago and last year, so it’s an intermediate level of mortality rate,” said Dr. Vinh.

The positive test rate has also increased, bringing the numbers to the highest they have been since December 2023, when the resurgence of the virus in Quebec was the biggest in Canada.

“For people who get tested, the rate of those tests being positive for COVID has been increasing from somewhere around two per cent, just about two to three months ago, to now over 20 per cent,” explained Dr. Vinh.

Dr. Vinh says the high levels of COVID-19 cases is concerning.

“If the COVID-19 attributable mortality rate is not decreasing, but is somewhere between high and low — at an intermediate level — that tells us that there are still some important consequences to SARS-CoV-2 infection, including death. This tells us the virus is not in any way becoming more benign.”

Basic measures for those who are at high risk include not being around those who are symptomatic; consider wearing a mask; being in properly ventilated areas; and getting vaccinated.

“There’s going to be an updated vaccine available in about a month or so, and people should be encouraged to take it, especially those who fall into the high-risk categories or could be at high risk,” Dr. Vinh added.

I don't understand if NRS have something or issue with him because i feel like in the first story mode he was an background character, now in KR he gets:

1-Little of his dialogues, maybe two

2-Him, Johnny and Kenshi did not go in Outworld to meet empress Mileena

3- Didn't go with Kuai Liang, Cyrax and Sektor to Khaos realm, since he is second in command of the Shirai Ryu, he should be with them, but him didn't go to this mission was sadly wasted

4- His Khaos version didn't appear in the story like everyone

Khaos Reigns story was great, but sadly this story having to much missing things and was little rushed up, so in KP3 will having a story, I hoped they give the screentime that he deserve, along with his chapter here.

So much to report within this energy entering, as you will see it began some hours ago whilst I was sleeping.

I was awoken from my dream state where I was picking up codes, I was sailing (on land and sea) in a massive seagoing boat, like a trawler or perhaps a modern Ark 🙈 and the weather, the rain, the wind, barely able to see what was in front until we crashed straight through, hence why I was sailing the boat on land, although it was barely land anymore, building tips poking out the water like rocks and the sounds of the hull smashing and breaking up what was below, now submerged.

My biggest complaint was being screamed “where’s the F888ING lighthouses”

Symbolic? Always!

Feeling the solar energies pulsating through I check for the confirmation and stats, the wind is low, KP3, no field cracks, and we have a new solar cycle sun spot fizzing at a B Class, all super mild BUT and here is the BIG BUT look at what our Sun is being loaded with from beyond.

Aligned with Mercury, Saturn, Pluto and Ceres, with Jupiter and the South Node’s frequencies just being pulled into the magnetic alignment.

Punchy to say the least, pure manifestation energy, MAGIC has just intensified.

Remember, unconscious reacts and moves in slow motions, this appears like chaos Conscious is responsive, super quick and highly expansive, fast light speed magic.

The energies from Solar activations are Masculine, therefore trigger the wounding if held, the old Piscean ways will tell you these are symptoms, and the unconscious beliefs around this is to accept it as a result of the energy. The Aquarian way reads the symbols and realises the restriction or resistance, and acts from the guidance coded in the perceived pain, reconnecting the feminine and the masculine within. The more people talk of unity and Oneness the more they are now shown the lack that stands in the way, hence why so many in the spiritual arena are now beginning to spin like tops.

When we declare we then hold a responsibility to BE.

Of course, this is a dream come true, it’s begun, as we all unknowingly in the beginning claimed to walk the path, storing the coordinates in the know bank of what we learned, what it all means, for the withdrawal and the transition into the being that has now arrived with this air of Divine Responsibility that we find ourselves now experiencing.

The feelings and emotions will be your guide, the goal if there was one is to neutralise all unconscious perceived heart bleeding vibrations by realising the roots embedded in this and all other lifetimes. Divine Detachment, do not misunderstand this, it doesn’t mean you do not care, in fact you care MORE because you SEE MORE, collectively, meaning the focus isn’t on the individual presentation, it’s on the energy that creates this collectively and how this is being emitted into the collective field. Divine Detachment removes from the personal aspects, and encompasses each in high responsibility, to recognise the discord from within, adjusting, neutralising, stabilising from within, FULLY trusting through already experiencing that this way creates a new wave emitted into the field which pulsates higher frequencies for the ALL to experience.

Working on a mass scale rather than a singular presentation.

Getting caught up in the details simply highlights the suffering for it to be neutralised, remember this as you move and learn to choose consciously, immediately, without the wait/weight, which again causes the perceived pain especially as we are now moving so incredibly quickly WHICH now speeds up tenfold again.

Uranus tomorrow stations direct, no planets in retrograde and we are electrified by Uranus in transition, this shift for me is like the invention of the electric car, as for the last few days I have been recieving the instructions to begin the ancient ritual of Gifting to the Gods but in the new, modern, Aquarian Way. As I mentioned yesterday I am now bringing it through into my reality and BEcoming it, to learn and feel into what it provides and so far I can confirm, joy, laughter, connection, space, love, communication and therefore expansion. I plan to share the beginning of this with the SoulAr group this evening and see how we unite through the new way and then it will be rolled out here, a United Love Wave around our globe, we are going to take action, we are going to DO something to make a solid difference and its so simple, we will align our hearts, minds and actions which is what an alignment is, that is how prayer works in the Aquarian Age, it’s called showing up.

Those holding the unconscious tones increase the volume of chaos for all to experience, those holding conscious tones shine upon those darkened spots, and we continue to escalate until all is Seen. Some used to call this the battle of light and dark.

Leading us upto the new timeline we had a 9 day stretch of solar winds, blasting out, highlighting or stretching realities for you to view the distortions, any grey areas that were holding back your expansion into this new energy. For those already holding a high light quotient it was instant activations and expansion. Then as the New Paradigm entered we were cosmic ray recoded and today we are given another amazing hit of plasma! I will keep you posted on the details as they come in, we are currently raised in protons, KP3, and it's due to hit later today. Those holding a high light quotient will be feeling the energy now. Rapid realisations can be made and instant frequency rises. New opportunities are here for all but I want to allow you to peak into the future a little. Let's just say not all that glitters is gold. We are in for some major energy from now until.....well I haven't seen the calm yet so I can't answer this. Certainly end of September and beginning of October will have most of you shouting "ahhh I get it now" with you resembling like you've been dragged through the proverbial bush backwards but there is a way to SEE and that means taking everything to a higher perspective in terms of the new opportunities arising.
