It's a fic that's been on my list and slowly developing itself in the back of my brain for a while now. I spend a lot of time thinking about all of the things that Rhysand and Jurian went through together UTM. Amarantha was always wearing Jurian's eye in that ring, so every time she would use Rhysand and make him do things, Jurian was there.

Basically, Jurian is the only one who truly bore witness to everything Rhysand was subject to UTM, and I just want them to talk about it, victim to victim. It's about being seen, heard, and validated. Their conversation is incredibly vulnerable and raw, making Rhys relive all of the things that he experienced. But it's meant to be a healing moment for them both to finally get this part of their past out in the open.

Alright 👏 So I've explained what the premise of this fic was a while ago here, and it hasn't changed too much from then! Quick summary: Kallus is desperate to show Zeb, and more importantly himself, that he's not only good for killing.

Sadly it hasn't gotten too far from since I last left off 😔 My motivation to write hasn't been the best this year, but here's a quick snippet:

His panic was interrupted by Zeb's small chuckle. “Ya know… most people settle for an ‘I love you’, Sasha.” He cupped Kallus’ cheek and rubbed his thumb against the freckled skin as Kallus nuzzled into his palm.

“It's the truth,” Kallus mumbled as he looked into Zeb's eyes.
