(Smiling serenely) I should put my pokemon in the timeloop
#there's something very cyclical about a frlg nuzlocke with several failed attempts. run by a trainer who constantly reuses names#there are many many encounters in frlg that can very easily be guaranteed and many of them that are just extremely likely#so my team for all of my attempts was structurally very similar.#bulbasaur that i drop after erika. abra that i catch outside nugget bridge. lapras i get from silph. jolteon i get from celadon. free space#that usually included a nido that dies tragically early for no good reason and an arcanine brought onto the team solely bc its my fave pkmn#but the pokemon that actually stands out to me is my alakazam pareidolia. back to back runs he was my mvp#first run he brought me to lance solo and lost. second run he was...i believe the last survivor vs rival#i think it would be fun if such an intelligent pokemon could catch onto the distortion of the world around him#even if he hasnt been blessed by celebi or dialga or whoever to see the timeline split (saves and resets and savestates)#idk. i'll think abt it more later.#i know i just made a post abt pmdifying my pokemon but i think pmd is actually kind of boring as a setting for this guy
